Everything had been prepared, her armor, ceremonial, as her battle armor had not yet been repaired, cleaned and polished. She stood in the training grounds upon Olympus, looking over the twenty Spartans chosen to accompany her, the Captain had been left behind to continue his work with the others. The Oracle stood at her side, smiling in approval. She was right, of course. This had strategical advantages, and when the Quincy had been dealt with, she could move her own plans forward. Gesturing with a simple nod, the Spartans attached a piece of white linen to the tips of their spears, the universal sign for 'peace' or 'talk', however you wanted to see it, everyone knew what it meant. Truthfully, she was still hesitant to go back to the Soul Society, but what choice did she have? The Oracle was right, she could not win this war alone. And that's exactly what she was. Alone.
She shook her head. It no longer mattered. "Form up!" The Spartans immediately fell to line, five to a row, creating four rows of Spartans, spears held upright, and shields in front of them. Emi herself carried no weapon or shield, there was no need. she could summon her arsenal at will, should the need arise.
She turned and waved her hand, two large pillars fell from the sky, an arch connecting at the top as a gate of blinding white light opened in front of her. She had to admit, Sui Feng was rather clever. She knew full well that she could not simply Senkaimon in to the Soul Society, and her Garganta could not bypass the barrier around the Seireitei. She was forced to enter the Rukongai, and knock, like a commoner. She would be sure to have words with her when she arrived. It was an insult, and one she would not ignore. "You're in charge while I'm gone, Oracle. Lead them well." It was all she said, as she stepped through her Garganta, and entered in to the Soul Society.
She emerged, along with her twenty Spartans, on the edge of the Rukongai, ignoring the curious, and some terrified, onlookers. She moved forward towards the gate, expecting the wall to come crashing down, but it didn't. She smirked. "Well then, I guess Sui Feng had me all figured out, huh?" She crossed her arms over her chest, and waited.
"If it's me, it would be a waste not to dance no matter what."
"I guess I'm just not much of a listener when it comes to guys. I get bored pretty quickly."

Emilia was normally a patient one, but she found herself growing irritated the longer she waited. Perhaps it was because they knew she would come, Sui Feng seeming to have seen the future, though, in reality, what choice did Emi really have? Okay, maybe she couldn't see the future, but she was smart enough to realize she would come. Sighing, she tapped her foot slightly, her Spartans remained still. She wondered, though, how would the others regard her? There were some who already knew her name, and what she desired, but there were still some ignorant to her existence. Would they fear her? Or would any of them be eager to learn from her? Emulate her? She had no desire to make friends, and truthfully, she didn't really care if the others hated her. She did not come here to make schoolyard friends. There was only one purpose.
Lost in her thoughts, only the door suddenly opening brought her back to reality. Finally. She dropped her arms to her side as it raised further and further, expecting Sui Feng to be standing there with that sly smirk on her face. But it was not she who came to greet her, but Shunsui. How... convenient that her fathers former Captain would be the one to welcome her in to the Seireitei. She heard only stories as a little girl, of how they often drank together, how Shunsui was the one who taught him value, morals, and respect. Long before he had succumb to his madness. It was he that had draft him in to his squad, and indirectly mentored him.
She narrowed her eyes slightly as he bowed, unsure of whether it was a sincere gesture or not. She did not know the man well enough to gauge otherwise, but, she responded with the same respect, and tapped her fist against her chest in a salute. Walking forwards, her Spartans keeping distance, but following, she kept her gaze on Shunsui. Apparently he even knew her last name, something she had not disclosed to many people. Her father, then, must have spoke of her.
"When I was a little girl, my father often spoke of you. He told me should I ever meet you, to show you respect both on, and off, the battlefield. For this reason, you may address me as Emilia, or Emi. Which ever you prefer." He was the only Captain that would receive such respect, not even Yamamoto, despite all his power, would command such it from her. "Though, I did not expect my fathers former Captain to be the one to greet me, especially since it was Sui Feng who approached me in the first place. I assume she finds herself too busy to be the one to escort me, wherever that might be, or have you taken this as a personal task because of my last name?" Shirked by Sui Feng once again. Just like when she was a Shinigami.
"If it's me, it would be a waste not to dance no matter what."
"I guess I'm just not much of a listener when it comes to guys. I get bored pretty quickly."
She didn't trust him. He didn't blame her of course. It would be a long time before either of them could trust one another. Nonetheless she bowed in response to him, which made him smile. She was showing willing which at the very least was a promising start. She approached and he stood at ease, waiting for her to close the gap. Emilia confirmed what she had said during the captain's meeting; that she was the daughter of Kisho. He was relieved, as such, that she regarded him with respect, if not fondness. There was every chance that upon severing his relationship with Soul Society, that Kisho would have preached his old friend as the worst of a bad bunch. Despite everything it made Kyouraku happy that at least he had been a good friend.
"Thank you, Emi-chan." He said to her with a smile. "I see you have come to parlay; if you will, your associate is also here to talk. The Captain Commander himself will, of course be there." He paused as she specifically brought up Sui Feng. There was a touch of soreness in her voice there. What had Sui Feng done when finding Emilia? She was young and could be brash. It was something to note. Nonetheless it was perhaps customary in these types of situations for a person to have a designated handler, as Blodeuwen had been for Theocelese. Perhaps Emilia's trepidation was not unreasonable.
"Captain Feng is not in the Seireitei right now." He explained calmly. "Her duty dictates that she be away. I volunteered to come and... Shall we say, fetch you?" He wouldn't say any more about the Commander's whereabouts, as her mission was confidential and on a need to know basis. As far as they were concerned, Emilia did not need to know.
"Do you intend to come then, and speak with the Captain Commander?" Shunsui asked, touching the brim of his straw hat.
She stood mere feet from the Captain, yet she found her eyes gazing passed him, and in to the Seireitei. It was almost... unsettling to be here again. It felt wrong. Not just because she had a dislike for the Shinigami, but because this was a place her kind was cast away from, looked down upon, as something to be disposed of. Now she stood as an invited guest, and it had been many, many years since she saw the inside of it, as something other than an enemy. Her chest tightened and she felt a slight feeling of panic attempt to surge up, but she forced it down. It was nothing, at least that's what she told herself. Apprehension, maybe, but she wouldn't allow it to show. Though his words registered, it wasn't until he mentioned her 'associate' that she fully brought her attention back to him. "So, he is here then? I guess she wasn't lying afterall." Sui Feng had hinted at the presence of one of hers, but she had refused to believe it. It's not the fact that he approached the Shinigami, hell, she was standing in Soul Society herself, but the fact that he had not even told her. Like it was some secret plot. That bothered her the most.
As for Sui Feng... of course she would be busy. Attempting to sway more back to the Soul Society, perhaps. Or maybe it was just an excuse. Either way, she shrugged it off as nothing more than Sui Feng being Sui Feng. "Truth be told, I was not given much detail. Sui Feng showed up, invited me here, and left. Honestly, I fully expected to be leapt upon, and thrown in chains." She smirked. It was the truth, she thought it could be a trap, and was always on guard. So far, it seemed to be a legitimate meeting. "Though if I am to meet with Yamamoto, so be it." She gestured with a hand. "Lead on."
"If it's me, it would be a waste not to dance no matter what."
"I guess I'm just not much of a listener when it comes to guys. I get bored pretty quickly."
Shunsui could see the turmoil bubbling and boiling within Emilia. She was but a child in comparison to him. An ambitious, dangerous child but nonetheless, the scene of a younger person overcome with emotion was not new to him. The captain had seen many come and go under various circumstances, while he stood solid like a cherry blossom, shedding his petals once in a while but blooming the same nonetheless each year. Perhaps she would change her mind; that could make things awkward, but no. Indeed the mention of Theocelese seemed to make her keener to come.
"Yes. He's been here a few days now, hosted by the Hirashi family. We've been keeping a close eye on him, I wouldn't be surprised if you hadn't heard anything." Shunsui told her. In fact, Theo's defection had been a surprise for all of them. Whatever Blodeuwen had said to him had been charismatic enough to immediately get him to jump ship and join them. His arrival had been earlier than they had expected which had resulted in him being hosted by the Hirashi family themselves.
"That was always an option." Shunsui mused with a smile upon his bearded face. "But I don't want to fight. It goes against my nature to get rough with women. I happen to be a gentleman. I don't have much patience with guys though so-" at his command, the gate would slam shut, leaving the spartans outside the Seireitei in the Rukon. "If you'll come with me?" he asked her, smiling wanly and walking towards the centre of the Seireitei where the Ichibantai's headquarters were.
