Not that long ago, Jin decided to indulge of his curiosity by getting into the famous Taekwondo dojo. In which case Jin had to sober up the previous night and clean up a bit in order to get accepted so long as he paid for the entry fee. If anything Jin felt a bit bored and wanted to endorse on something productive. In his mind that happened to be a martial artist dojo that teaches Taekwondo in Karakura. The fighting style was a basic form in Jin’s mind for he knew that it was mainly about kicking as high as you can before bringing down a powerful heel drop.
Jin was garbed in a classical dobok with a white sash tied at the hip as he attends to a class of ten other students. It was his first day, and Jin was mainly observing the drills while also going with the flow so to speak. The exercises consisted of mainly trying to stretch the leg up to the sky as possible and hold position for at least ten seconds. Jin was kind of bad at it since he could barely lift his leg head level before he felt his muscles restraining himself. So his teacher had the class begin performing a split.
It wasn’t the garments that was the problem, for it was actually due to the fact that his legs simply wasn’t flexible enough to allow him performing a full split. The teacher explained that the key to Taekwondo is the flexibility as well as leg strength. The first obstacle was to obtain the flexibility, and so to assist with that process the teacher simply placed a foot at the lower back and pushed them down. Forcing them to perform a split and hold them there for ten seconds. Jin gritted his teeth and silenced his curses before they could spew out of his mouth. For it was quite painful to his legs since he’s never had them perform a split so much and so sudden.

Week 1
The first week to summarize it was nothing short than a bunch of exercises meant to improve leg strength, flexibility, and overall refine the points that Jin previously lacked. As for the first day, noted from the post above, Jin went into the basic training just to get his body into motion. It was tough on his legs and thighs. For he had to do drills that involved performing splits and being timed on standing with a single leg while the other was stretched as high as it could go. Jin could barely hold his leg at his eye level and it was quite a struggle to maintain it even for ten seconds. At first it seemed easy, but as Jin stood there with time passing by it progressively became more difficult than before. The second day his legs were practically screaming at him as Jin was exercising muscles he didn’t really know about. It was more or less the same, but this time the teachers were a bit stricter because what pain they saw was a sign that Jin’s muscles were adjusting and building up more of a finesse than anything else. The drills were taxing on his legs, and lifting his legs at head level was becoming harder since the pain is constantly there. Luckily Jin doesn’t actually mind this kind of pain since it was more of a comforting type. Even so the struggle was real as Jin has probably fallen from his stance about a dozen times now; but even so Jin just got back up on his feet and tried again. Third day had come and gone for it was similar to the previous two days. Jin’s body was slowly recovering as he exercised his legs and recently he’s involving his upper body too. For one Jin didn’t think his torso would be sore when he thought he was only using his legs. This day was actually slightly easier or so Jin thought since it involved on using the hands to defend while the legs served as the sword. Honestly the whole part where they practice the motions against each other was nothing more than child’s play in Jin’s mind. There were times that Jin had to restrain himself from leaping over a sweeping leg and deliver a heel drop of his own. Fourth day was the remarkable one of the week. It was one that Jin could actually practice and learn what these Taekwondo users can do. He got to spar with a practitioner who has been in the dojo for about two months now and was considered to be a prodigy. The man was young, probably a teen from the looks of it, named Tanaka Shiromi. At first Jin was hesitant since the rules prohibited a lot of things that is his forte such as no grappling, no permanent injuries, and no using hands for attacking. That was the issue for Jin, and so young Tanaka was quickly proving to be superior than Jin in that part. However even so Jin was evading and blocking the kicks with almost relative ease. Of course they did sting, but that’s about it. In the end, Tanaka ended up winning the match since Jin actually forfeited the match. Still he learned a lot and felt like he knew where to practice the most. So calling it for the day, Jin went home. On the fifth to seventh day Jin has practiced his kicks and training his body to become more flexible. Jin has been using his hands to deliver a nasty punch in the air that distorts the air around him, but that was after he unleashed a swift combo of roundhouse kick while in the air and as he came down Jin still spun to perform a sweeping kick. During the combo he had been powering up his right hand with his chi and he released it in one powerful uppercut that followed with the sweep.
