The Wandenreich's first assault, intended to measure the strength of the Gotei 13 and gain a foothold in the human world and Hueco Mundo brought them to two important revelations. First, with Yhwach still dormant, they lack the power needed to directly attack and defeat the Gotei 13 with losing most of their forces. Second, they were completely unaware of the number and strength of unaffiliated spiritual beings residing in the Human World and Hueco Mundo.
What came next was expected. With the loss of nine Sternritter, and no change in orders, Haschwalth determined there was only one way to proceed: Building an army with more than just quincy. On his order, agents of the Wandenreich descended on the human world and Hueco Mundo, offering untold power to any who would help bring an end to the Gotei.
[THE BASICS]
As promised, with the site officially moving into the 1000 year blood war arc for the foreseeable future, OC characters may now officially join the Wandenreich in their war against the Gotei 13.
Joining the Wandenreich is as simple as signing up in this thread, and grants you access to a number of special benefits, though it does carry in character implications as well. Your character will be expected to follow the rules of the Wandenreich, and take on their mission of revenge against the Gotei 13. It should go without saying at this point, but joining Wandenreich makes you an official enemy of the Gotei 13 (assuming you weren't already).
[THE BENEFITS]
Joining the Wandenreich has a number of special benefits for your character. Most notably, your character will be shot with a special version of the Heilig Pfeil, not unlike the version quincy use to restore the lost powers of those who use Letzt Stil. This process imprints on the target's soul and, along with a Wandenreich cross, grants them a portion of the quincies' power. This includes:
The ability to manifest and use your own spirit weapon, governed by your existing racial mastery (up to Mastered level equivalent). This weapon can only be a variant style weapon and you cannot duel wield.
Upon reaching HL you are granted the ability to manifest Vollstandig. It should be noted that Vollstandig does not stack with mask or segunda etapa. Quincy who join the Wandenreich unlock Vollstandig immediately regardless of rank.
The ability to be granted a schrift once you have reached appropriate strength and proven yourself an ally of the Wandenreich.
It should be noted that these powers come with the requirement that you remain a member of the Wandenreich, and as with all Wandenreich powers, Haschwalth may, at any time, use Auswählen to strip you of these powers should you leave the Wandenreich or otherwise act against its interests.
On top of these inherited powers, you also gain access to a number of small benefits as a member of the Wandenreich. This includes access to canon quincy and Wandenreich items, the ability to use the quincies' shadow transportation, and the ability to receive medical treatment on par with the Gotei's 4th division.
You may also, with slightly more difficulty than quincy, apply to become a Sternritter and receive a schrift.
One final note concerning Shinigami that desire to join the Gotei 13. This is allowed though it will be much more difficult that joining with other races. Because of the Wandenreich's primary goal of destroying the Gotei 13, you will likely be more heavily monitored, and will not receive even the most basic of the above mentioned benefits until you have proven yourself an ally in character. This is determined on a case by case basis.
[SIGN-UP]
Sign-up is fairly straightforward, simply post with the account of the character you want to join and write up a description of how your character came to join the Gotei. For example:
-Were they recruited by a Quincy? -Did they come themselves after hearing the Quincy were recruiting and offering power? -Has your character had any previous interactions relevant to joining, such as being a criminal, from a race normally considered a threat to the Gotei, etc...?
This can be as long as short as you want but try and give at least some description of how and why it happened for the sake of the record.
Yes, Satoshi had been connected through the Quincy Elderon. Through this meeting, he acquired a decent sum of intelligence regarding the whereabouts and motives of the Wandenreich members.
Although his understanding was that they were over the line, Satoshi had became simultaneously aware that his own goals were similarly aligned with the Wandenreich, and were even willing to provide compensation for his efforts in assisting with the aligned goals.
Even though his own plans were to form a group of similar power, a shortcut was much preferred to someone of his nature.
-Did they come themselves after hearing the Quincy were recruiting and offering power?
He hadn't came entirely alone, no. Elderon had explained everything to him, so it only makes sense that he would be the one to introduce him to the ranks of the Wandenreich. Their hierarchy and formalities were explained to him prior to his meeting of the Wandenreich, and thus he was acquainted with them a tad more then they were with him.
-Has your character had any previous interactions relevant to joining, such as being a criminal, from a race normally considered a threat to the Gotei, etc...?
Being a Vizard, Satoshi is a natural criminal to the ranks of the Gotei. He has, on two separate accounts, encountered Shinigami who were sent to bring him in alive for punishment by the thirteen court guard squads.
Although he has had vague connections with other Shinigami, most of his experience is with similar runaways and hollow criminals of these natures. With this in mind, Satoshi has had to embody the mind of a criminal for almost his entire life.
Gwen joined the Wandenreich because, all in all, it seemed like the best of a bunch of bad options. The only vague allies she'd found had both been quincies; Liam O'Brian, and SUPERIA IGNISA REGALAS, though those were both tenuous allies at best. She had fought against the sternritter; or at least had been present for the battle where BG9 had been dismantled. Having recently grown out of her fanatical Hollow-Unity religion, she realized that she had no friends. A fact she didn't really mind, she isn't particularly personable, but nonethless, it was growing more apparent that there were forces at work far greater than her, and this felt like the build-up to another Aizen-style faction war. And Gwen had no friends, many enemies, and no side to be on. The Wandenreich were one side that she simply hadn't really done anything to piss off at all up until that point.
Two things really sealed the deal for her. Those were @gage and THEOCELESE. Both had good reasons to hate her; she'd cost Gage his arm and nearly a quarter of his damn torso in a horrendous conflict that left many humans dead in Naruki city. Theo's daughter had been killed when Gwen had caused a building to collapse with her Cero, and he had vowed quite clearly to kill her the next opportunity she had gotten. There was word along the grapevine that Gage had been promoted into the ranks of the Gotei 13, and that Theocelese was also in the sights of the Shinigami; possibly already allied with them. Those were several very compelling reasons to stay the hell away from the Seireitei.
As such, she made herself known to the first member of the Wandenreich she could, and was shown to Haschwalth, who determined her of sufficient strength to fight for the cause of the Quincy. Overall, Gwen thinks she looks great in Hugo Boss.
Thread will be happening with Coffee's Rupert. -Did they come themselves after hearing the Quincy were recruiting and offering power?
Roman would have come simply for the fact these guys could feed him and house him. He has no home, no family, and is more or less a mercenary. The offering of power...however...is tempting enough for him to enact revenge of those who he felt betrayed him. -Has your character had any previous interactions relevant to joining, such as being a criminal, from a race normally considered a threat to the Gotei, etc...?
Roman has no clue what any of this business is. The Wandenreich, as stated above, are willing to feed and house him. If they need people killed...Sure. Consider him a criminal now.

Wandenreich Recruitment
Rupert has been a member of the Wandenreich since when they were the Light Empire, the Lichtreich. He has been in Silbern for a thousand years, lying in wait for the Kaisergesang. The events of his childhood that lead him to joining are outlined in his history.

Tanya Wyrdhaven has been a devout member of the Wandenreich, serving its cause and her own agenda's through the organization ever since her parents were struck down in front of her as a child by none other than Shinigami during the Quincy Massacre 200 years ago.
Through her time with the organization Tanya has trained, served on missions, and recruitment projects for Wandenreich in areas all across the human world. These include Germany, France, Spain, America, and more recently Japan in her attempts to recruit outsiders to the cause.

Yes
-Has your character had any previous interactions relevant to joining, such as being a criminal, from a race normally considered a threat to the Gotei, etc...?
No Upon originally joining, Sasha had little understanding of the spiritual world. She wanted to gain power to protect herself and those she cares about, such as Tanya.

-Were they recruited by a Quincy? Yes. Orochi was invited by his father after the brunt of his training as a growing youth. It’s where he obtains most of his supplies currently. -Did they come themselves after hearing the Quincy were recruiting and offering power? At first he was unsure about joining the Wandenreich considering his father’s affiliation, but with the promise of the power to help protecting his family he gave in with little resistance -Has your character had any previous interactions relevant to joining, such as being a criminal, from a race normally considered a threat to the Gotei, etc...? Negative, however he is aware of them. He is aware that they are a threat to him should they find out what he is. However, should they decide to step into his family’s area, he will attempt to execute should he feel he has the ability.
-Were they recruited by a Quincy? Yes -Did they come themselves after hearing the Quincy were recruiting and offering power? Yes -Has your character had any previous interactions relevant to joining, such as being a criminal, from a race normally considered a threat to the Gotei, etc...? Aside from being a bount, Graem has taken numerous hits out on Shinigami before and, being aware of the history of the bount massacre, is as such disposed to the idea of shinigami extermination
