Roleplay Sample

“Weak...” Scoffed the towering gargantuan, Kenpachi, as he raised his to zanpaktou to block a zanpaktou strike of an arrancar. His opponent was much shorter height wise, the male was standing at a meager five foot eight. Kenpachi slashes his sword diagonally forcing the latter backwards. It wasn’t everyday that an arrancar manages to break into the Sereitei. His excitement for such an event was slowly slipping away, as he realized how weak his opponent was in comparison to his own strength. The two were currently in a circular clearing within the Rukon districts forest. Which meant he could really cut loose without having to worry about collateral damage, and the paperwork he’d neglect to do because of said damage. Sadly, his opponent was seemingly a waste of time.

After lightly resting his zanpakutou on his shoulder, he went on to say, ” Is that really all you got? What happened to all that big talk from earlier? I’m not even warmed up yet. And I thought it this was gonna be fun...What a disappointment.” After being pushed backwards a several feet the beaten and battered arrancar dropped to a single knee. The only words that managed to escape his lips were, “Damn you soul reaper....You’re going to regret those words” Mere moments latter, Yachiru fell out of a tree onto the arrancars’ head. “Awww, I think he’s givin’ up Kenny.” The playful girl began to lightly hit the Hollow in the head while saying, “You get up an play with Kenny, ya’ hear me!” By now Kenpachi was completely done with this situation. There was no point in staying any longer, his opponent could barely even stand. “Let’s go, Yachiru. We’re done here, can’t force him to fight for his life. Someone’ll come an finish him off.... Eventually.” He said while turning his back on his opponent, heading towards the forest. Kenpachi knew for a fact that this arrancar to wasn’t alone, so he decided to hunt down, hopefully, a stronger enemy. Yachiru gave the man one more hit before leaping off his head to follow Kenpachi.

Someone else was coming, someone whom Yachiru didn’t know. She could sense their presence. All she could do is half her bouncy walk and turn around toward the incoming entity. “Uh oh..Kenny!” Zaraki kept moving forward only slightly turning his head back toward his lieutenant. “What is it, Yachiru?” The small girl placed her hands on her hips as she leaned forward.” They’re here!” She yelled cheerfully. Out of the clearing dashed another identical arrancar, whom stopped inches next to his ally. The hollow was complete identical to the one next to him. The man remained silent for a few moments, so that he could analyze his foes and surroundings. Seeing as someone else decided to drop by, Kenpachi rotated his body back toward the two. The captain wondered if they were at the same strength because they looked alike. If that was the case, he was prepared to continue about his business to find a real challenge. The silence was broken when the new foe, placed his hand on the injured arrancar. “This guy really wore you out didn’t he, brother? I told you it wasn’t a good idea for us to split up. I’m here now..And as for you Shinigami, you’re finished. My name is Mello and you already met my brother Zello. You may be wondering why I’m telling you all this...It’s because you’ll be de-“

Quite rudely, Kenpachi raised his ragged blade toward the pair of arrancars and began to talk over the newcomer. ”You both really are alike, all talk...Prove your worth or get out of my sight.” Mello simply sucked his teeth at Kenpachi. “Don’t underestimate him, this Shinigami is a monster..”The injured arrancar, Zello, warned. Mello’s palm began to glow green, he was healing his brother back to a state where he could at least stand. He figured he didn’t have much time to do much else, nor did he think his opponent would give him the time to fully heal and enemy. “Fine, I trust your judgement. Then we’ll go all out from the start, after he’s dead we’ll complete our mission. We can’t waste any more time. The ritual must be complete soon..” Zello nodded his head as he rose to his feet. Kenpachi completely ignored the fact that they mentioned a ritual. That information didn’t really matter to him, he just wanted to fight. The two released a considerable amount of spirit energy before holding their Zanpakutō out in front of themselves. Once they reached their peak, they simultaneously chanted, “Feed, Grimwald!” The two then began to glow, with their individual Reiatsu color hue. This initiated a fusion like released state. The previously separated begins became one, drastically increasing in height and mass, growing to about 20 feet in height.

Along with his growth in height, the arrancar now had the face of a hollowfied T-Rex, with a humanoid body. Kenpachi was some what impressed by how tall he got. Knowing the damage something that big could do, he decided to send Yachiru away for a moment just until he was done. “Yachiru, go play for a little bit.” She nodded with a smile, quickly using shunpo to get out of dodge.“Well? Are you afraid yet, Shinigami Captain? I told you before that you’d regret insulting me. When we’re together we’re unstoppable! You’ll know the complete definition of pain and suffering! Now we’re going to crush you! Then the rest of the Sereitei will be crushed beneath ou-” His voice was distorted as if it was a cross between the two once separate arrancars. Looks could be deceiving, he knew this very well. Just because he was big and tall now didn’t mean he was stronger. He sick of hearing the arrancar boast about his strength, it was being to annoy him. The time for talking was over, it was time to put up or shut up. Zaraki managed to cut the arrancars banter off with words of his own. “Shut up! Lets get on with it already! Show me what ya’ got!”The man said laughing manically. “THAT’LL BE THE LAST TIME YOU INTERRUPT ME! If you’re in such a rush to die, I’ll happily oblige you!” respond the enormous hollow. The arrancar raised his Zanpakutō well over his head to slash downward once more. Kenpachi kept info the air to compensate for the large height difference, while swinging his Zanpakutō toward the much larger incoming blade. Once the two blades met, a large shockwave of air caused the uprooting several trees in the area. From the moment the two blades clashed, he was sure the opponent in front of him was strong. Kenpachi had a wide grin on his face, knowing that the real battle was finally about to begin.
