THOSE WHO TEST
"What could go wrong? Like, everything."
"This is gonna be fuuuuun~!"
Despite her spiritual apparition's rather overly exaggerated excitement, Meara's hands trembled with excitement as she made a few more adjustments to the small motherboard-looking device set upon her lap. With her legs dangling over the edge of a high-rise rooftop, the gust of air somehow not being much of a problem for the raven-haired Fullbringer while working on a ridiculously small device, with a mere, barely-noticeable further twist of a near microscopic screw-like pin, Meara's back straightened, resulting in several cracks resounding off her vertebrae and a pleasurable 'ah' escaping her lips. With a roll of her neck and head, crack here, another there, Meara placed the micro-tool back within the confinements of her inner coat pocket and pulled the small motherboard back up for closer review.
"Okay... okay, so ... so yea, okay," Meara spoke her rather confusing thoughts aloud, her uncertainty evident but excitement to find out most certainly noted and forcefully expressed through her spiritual counterpart.
"No, no, no, it's totally good now!" Aoishi exclaimed with excitement in her spiritually formed eyes, reading the technician's thoughts of negativity and attempted to thwart any further doubt. "See, you just needed to fine tune the frequency, right?"
"Yea, too much stability caused it to overheat, but if I use a different frequency, I can keep it stable with less stress on the power source," Meara confirmed her prior worries where the device nearly burnt her arm off. "But, it should be able to at least produce a projection now."
"God baby, I love it when you talk nerdy to me," Aoishi squealed, causing Meara to shift uncomfortably. Aoishi was the embodiment of Meara's online persona, a part of herself, yes, but one that she wouldn't openly express... well, in the open. Being able to actually converse with this side of herself as though it were its own separate entity, well... you know, some things just didn't make sense sometimes. Talking to yourself in a physical form like this? Was it really talking to yourself, or... well- "No, it's totally not masturbation, trust me. Oooh, and I'd TOTALLY rock your world!!"
"God damn it, Aoishi," Meara shouted as her eyes shut tightly, brows pinched inward. The spiritual form laughed hysterically, knowing full well the image she brought to Meara's mind. "But don't fret, twince-"
"NO!" Meara turned to her spiritual form immediately. "Do NOT use that! You do NOT get to use that!"
More laughter followed the moment Aoishi saw Meara twitch-yup, image planted, discomfort-level over nine-thousand. Meara always enjoyed making people feel awkward, but in a comical way. One that would help people open up a bit more, a bit of an ice-breaker in a sense. If the humor came at her expense, even better, as it wouldn't be directed toward anyone. Not only that, but it was all dialog on a screen for people to read, or hear over headphones. It wasn't something physically acted out that you can not only see but experience... and for the latter part, it was extreme enough to bring even Meara to embarrassment. Thankfully, no one was around to see this side of her. I mean, shit Aoishi, there are times and places for that kind of shit, use a filter.
"Ain't got one," Meara could already see herself writing the text out into a chat forum in response to her thoughts. She vocalized them before Aoishi could and the spiritual presence laughed in response. "Yea, yea, I know."
Comedy routine aside, Meara inserted the motherboard chip into the slot of the large, electronic bracelet worn around her left wrist. A few button pressed and small dial turns later, Meara shook her arm out and felt confident enough to give it another shot.
"Oooh, oooh, oooh, this is gonna be fun, Meara-chan-desu-neh-kun-samma-senpai-"
"Shut up, already," Meara silenced the spirit hastily before she continued going into a barrage of repeated, overly-used honorifics. She then took higher into the sky, away from anything that could be affected by her device and made certain she wouldn't be interrupted by her experiment. "Okay, this should do."
"Do it, do it, do it, do it!"
The response to the apparition's shouts of encouragement was activating the device. Her bracelet pulsated with a brilliance of darkened rainbow colors. A wave of energy surrounded the device, circling Meara's wrist and continued to grow at a rapid pace. As Meara began to feel the pressure of the energy engulfing her wrist, the device launched the energy forward, projecting a powerful implosion of energy into the sky. A tear cut through the sky, opening a dark, yet colorfully surrounded portal.
"Holy shit, you did it!" "Holy shit, I did it"
A portal opened before her, leading to what she hoped was the world of the Hollows. The biggest hindrance for the twins when it came to their investigations were how the Hollows were able to escape to what appeared to be another realm. Meara hoped that with this new device would put a stop to that exploit that advantage.
"So... now what?" Aoishi asked after some time. The portal remained stable after so many failed attempts and appeared far larger than the small rips the device had produced prior to her latest update. Meara was actually uncertain how to fully test the portal without actually going through it. Before she could ponder the thought, it appeared she was beaten to the punch.
A horrific scream, echoed the sky as a masked spirit emerged from the portal, and with it, a dense pressure of spiritual energy. While most certainly terrifying to have a portal birth the existence of such a creature, its spiritual pressure was little in comparison to what Meara herself could produce.
"Oh, it worked, it worked, look! One's coming ouuuu~uuuh~oooooh!!!"
Two, three, six, twelve more of those masked creatures began to pour out of the large opening, causing the spiritual presence to express her panic in a sense of incomprehensible dialog.
"Um, ummm, UMMMM!!" Meara stammered, unable to determine what to do and completely in shock that not only her device worked, but it appeared that there were plenty of nice, friendly creatures on the other side to greet her... so quickly... holy hell, that's a lot! "UMMMMMMMMMM!!!"

The sky seemed to be raining monsters, beasts of all shapes and sizes falling from sky in one after the other down into the street below. Disoriented, they seemed to take a moment to realize where they were and what morsels nearby were there to be eaten, but soon enough this horde would be on the loose and terrorizing whatever souls they could get their mitts on.
But then, from the sky... a flicker of light and a ripple of power. Like a falling star it came, the immense amount of power and strength radiating from its form like an ocean that flooded over the land. The portal spat out a being so incredible that the entire dimension would shutter in its wake, unable to withstand the true might of the God King himself. Garro Karra, Captain of the Hueco Mundo Division of Gotei, defender of innocence and slayer of evil!
Prior to the madness unfolding in Karakura, these Hollows had been collecting in none other than the Menos Forest, home of hundreds of lost hungering souls looking just looking for innocence to prey upon. Trailing this congregation of ill intent was the illusive and bold Captain Garro. He had tracked them across the sands until he found their insidious nest of evil, and was about to eradicate them in the name of the Hueco Mundo Division. He was on the verge of striking when suddenly a portal had opened up in the bed of the forest itself, sucking in the monsters like a mouth swallowing them up. An obvious and pitiful attempt at escaping their fate, but Garro would not let them go so easily. Flee as they might, their fates were sealed.
Sprinting to the opening in the sandy earth, Garro finished off with a cartwheel and flip directly down into the hole. As he fell through time and space, he was spat out on the other side high above the city, a city he knew very well. These bastards were coming to defile a city he has promised to keep safe? Not on his watch.
Soaring down now towards the collection of Hollows in the street below, he closed his eyes and brought up his small hand, channeling power into his palm and beginning to speak out words that radiated with power. With the rushing breeze fluttering his cloak, he called out over the roaring wind
"Ye lord! Mask of flesh and bone, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws.... SOKATSUI!!"
Opening his eyes, he shouted out final name of the powerful Kido, a sudden surge of power blasting from his palm. The Sokat-cero roared out down into the street, obliterating what poor beasts were in its path, and sending others reeling away in fear. As he closed in, he gave a swift kick to the air, flinging his trajectory toward the nearest Hollow, bone-paktou drawn and aimed at its dome. As he connected, he began thwacking away at the monster with his weapon full force.

THOSE WHO PASS
Despite the raven-haired technician's best efforts, fumbling at the worst possible moment was one of her best features and as she began fiddling with the buttons and turning various knobs on the bracelet, out came a Masked One strangely dressed similar to a Reaper. The small masked creature darted from the portal just as Meara was finally able to close it, severing the tie to the Other World. Excited that her device worked but full of panic over how quickly the situation turned, Meara prepared herself for a fight but only found herself watching in confused amazement as the small masked creature began tearing through the other masked creatures. While it certainly wasn't the first time she had seen a Reaper donning a Mask, it was the first time she had witnessed a non-humanoid Reaper... or so she thought?
>>"Sokatsui!!!"
An explosion of energy erupted from the Masked One, expelling several Hollow in the distance in one single blast. Her glamouring would come to an end at the hands of defending herself as the few stragglers remaining fount interest in her. Her spiritual apparition hastily returned to the host, expelling a faint burst of sky-blue particles all around her form. With a quick motion of her hand, her palm connected with the forehead of one of the Masked Creatures, halting it immediately in its tracks. Meara then hurled herself straight over the creature, bringing with her a powerful ax-kick to the one that followed behind. Her movements were fluid and well timed, dodging and weaving while countering the larger creature's strikes with seamless ease. While they may have been many, the creatures were relatively weak in accordance to spiritual power and the technician-gone-martial-arts-master found no difficulty in taking them down one by one.
Her fists cracked masks and kicks tore through bodies, expelling spiritual particles and essentially erasing these creatures from their current plain of existence. Despite Meara's often awkward persona, when it came to fighting, she was without hesitation and ruthless in her attacks, landing solid strikes and easily flowing through each attack directed toward her.
"Heads up!!"
With a powerful diving kick, Meara launched one of the creatures directly toward the Reaper-Attired Masked One, effectively, striking another escaped-convict in its immediate vivacity, the pair colliding with one another and the force thrusting them toward the pavement below.
NAME: Wing Chun CLASS: Martial Arts Style TIER: I TYPE: Supplementary RANGE: Self. DESCRIPTION: Wing Chun is a heavily spiritual martial arts. It's said to be learned mainly by monks, but it appears often outside of buddhist temples. Wing Chun is yet another non-sport Martial Arts, and rather then even a self-defense only art, is often taught to rather learn equality and power among the soul. It's used as a way of relaxation, and a way of spiritual alignment.
Wing Chun is incredibly unique as a martial arts, as most do not have fluid aerodynamics, meaning if your punch fails to connect, your posture, stance, and movement is effected. With Wing Chun, none of that is effected, such a way of fighting is called Uncommitted Techniques, and from such a way of fighting a user of Wing Chun can easily link together attacks with fluid, damaging motions, and even if one or two do not connect the combo is not stopped.
Wing Chun is hard to learn outside of being a monk. While certainly you could go and learn from a teacher who was once a monk and knows the style, it's incredibly unlikely. Because of this, Wing Chun is incredibly rare to the outside world, and as thus lacks very little counter-play on how to fight against it.
NAME: Ekitai [Liquid] CLASS: Hand-to-Hand Technique TIER: II TYPE: Supplementary / Offensive. RANGE: Self. DESCRIPTION: Ekitai is a technique in which the user of Wing Chun utilizes their natural ability to string together and connect movements with forceful strikes with the side of their hands. Ekitai is a group of hits while moving around the opponent, the maximum being 11 hits while the least being 1. The use of Ekitai is not to deal tremendous amounts of damage but to rather hinder the opponent by hitting places like the calf, shoulder, and other press-points to induce numbing where it hits and eventually cause permanent loss of control if done constantly.

Through the shear force of will that Captain Garro exuded, the horde of enemies began to drop one by one. Each beast that shot forward was felled by the Hand of Justice, not even leaving a bead of sweat along the God King Garro's brow. As he fought off the horde around him, to his dismay he saw amongst the Hollow a figure. A woman, human... at a time like this?! By the blood in his veins he would not let these monsters lay a claw on her.
He noticed the woman just in time it seems, for looming over her were a pair of sinister glowing eyes and a drooling maw. She had gotten the attention of the monsters now, and if he didn't act soon she may be dinner. Worse yet, he watched as the monster opened his maw, beginning to well up its evil energy within its throat, a red glow building up behind its jagged teeth. A Cero... this was bad, no human could survive it, and he had to think fast if he wanted to save this poor innocent soul.
Lowering his head and readying his stance, Garro threw himself forward at a speed that nearly ripped around the dimensions around them, vanishing from the naked eye and appearing before the woman heroically. The beast had now almost fully charged his attack, now aimed directly at the Captain himself. Without a moment of hesitation, Garro clutched at his captain's robe, a golden energy coating it now and causing it to glow with a heavenly power.
"..Go back the way you came, Beast!" And with a powerful flap of his cape, it seemed to warp the very fabric of space around the beast, suddenly causing the monster to spin and face away from Garro and the innocent, just as his Cero had erupted out mowed down his evil allies behind. Now, with a backflip of Justice, Garro landed closer to the woman, standing with his hands on his hips and head held high. "You have nothing to fear, human, your savior has come to slay these beasts and take back this town in the name of Justice!"
