PERSONALITY

At first glance, Daisuke is a grumpy, taciturn man. His rough voice gives everyone a glimpse into his even rougher personality. He speaks only when he feels it necessary and despises others who ramble on for no discernible reason. Loud, obnoxious types are the worst kinds for him to get along with, as he is very goal oriented and prefers to be able to hear himself think most of the time. It's very easy to irritate him, but difficult to make him completely fly off the handle or lose his composure. While initially harboring a fairly fragile willpower, living a a pessimist, the Shinigami Academy combined with his time within Hueco Mundo have hardened his resolve like a diamond mine, and it is nigh impossible to get him to break down. Not entirely impossible, but close enough. What is impossible, however, is for him to feel fear, having been overwhelmed by the emotion for long enough that he has completely lost the ability to feel it.

While he initially comes off as unapproachable, this is only due to Daisuke having very intense trust issues. Due to being betrayed by both his best friend and the organization with which he had given many, many years of his life, Daisuke has a plethora of different mental guards in place. He's a lot smarter now than he was and it is difficult to get him to fall into traps, metaphorical and otherwise, but will still give others the time of day if he doesn't feel it's going to be a complete waste. Those individuals who are content with living their lives in a static fashion, being nothing more than wastes of space will annoy him to the point that he will want nothing to do with them. He has a certain kind of automatic respect for personal strength, but only as a warrior. He supports growth but would never shoulder the responsibility himself.
