Blodeuwen sighed deeply as she exited the grounds of the first division. She'd returned from a meeting with Yama-jii, who always gave her the heeby-jeebies. Probably due to the strength of his reiatsu, even when it was stored she could still feel it emanating from him. Either way she'd failed yet again to do what she had sworn- which was to ask permission to access the high level of the kido library and thus be able to learn the high level Bakudo she was after. It was an awkward position, being Vice Kidocho while there was no Soshi- she didn't know where she stood. She could only hope that the C46 would send a replacement soon. She was now wandering back through the Seireitei with a severe looking stack of scrolls, some of which were datum, some instructions, others incantations and reports from Gotei 13 members whose kidos had gone horribly wrong, leaving them disfigured in the hospital of the fourth.
It was a kind of dull, overcast day and the wind rustled through the streets of Soul Society. it wasn't too cold, as it was still summer, but it wasn't sun-lounging weather either. Blod was focusing intently on each footstep in order to ensure that she didn't trip over anything, including her new purple robes denoting her rank, which were a touch more encumbering than regular hakama. She felt it in her hands first, but before she could react, Blodeuwen had collided with someone cleanly, and her towering stack of parchment had gone flying everywhere, and she teered on the spot, before falling over onto the hard ground. She cussed in Welsh, before looking up to see who the guilty culprit was, as paper flapped down all around them.

”You could learn to be a bit smoother with your movements.” A man spoke. He had been watching a fight break out between a group of hoodlums. Even in the Seireitei there were misfits. From what he had gathered they decided to steal some food from the younger kids and were trying to beat them into submission. The white haired Shinigami had intervened and was now being assaulted for it. Of course they didn’t know that he was a Shinigami, he was dressed like a regular person, but that was because he hated wearing the outfit when he was off duty.
One of the older, rougher, and much tougher kids had come swinging at him with some wild haymaker. That was when he had explained to him his movements were not fluid. He simply swung his face back, avoiding the attack, and lifted up his right hand. With a grab he had the wrist of the boy and with a tug he flipped him over; the body slamming into the ground. A groan escaped the hoodlum as his buddies proceeded to attack. Arashi let out a sigh before he proceeded to counter them. He made sure to only grab and throw them each; as they were all much untrained.
After he had tossed the last one aside they decided to run off, screaming obscenities, and threats. He shrugged his shoulders as he watched them running with their tails tucked between their legs. One of the kids who had his food stolen simply ran by Arashi, grabbed his food, and then ran off. Not even a thank you. The man was about to toss a piece of bread that was on the ground but figured the kid had enough abuse for one day; not getting a thank you was alright. That’s when he felt something hit his back.
At the same time a big gust of wind flew by and papers scattered. He turned around, a bewildered look on his face, ”Um, hello?” He said as polite as possible. He saw a small woman now on the ground, speaking in another language, and looking very frustrated. Oh boy. Arashi had done it again. ”You okay?” He said without hesitation. The papers were flying around his entire body by now and some of them even begun to float off. One of them would have to gather them up or else.

Brushing her hands off, Blodeuwen got to her feet, looking around with a look of sheer exasperation upon her face. She looked up at the white-haired man before her. She didn't recognise him at all. There was a brief surge of annoyance before she figured that it had probably been an accident. She sighed, before focusing her reiatsu. She had been practising this, using her spiritual pressure to refinedly move objects about. She couldn't apply too much force, but she had mastered control over her reiatsu. Arashi's nostrils would be filled with the scent of wildflowers as Blod exerted her spiritual pressure onto the papers on the floor around her. They glowed pink, and flew back into a neat little pile before her, rolling themselves up at Blodeuwen's command. She let out a long sigh once she was finished, the concentration having been difficult- she would really have to develop that further.
"Quite all right, thank you." She told him, with a raised eyebrow. "Was it you disciplining those troublemakers earlier?" she asked, oceanic eyes glistering. She'd heard it vaguely but hadn't really bothered to note it but it sounded like it was the same voice. "You'd do well to watch where you're going." she told him, this time cracking a smile. He had a firm, strong spiritual pressure- Blodeuwen could tell, but he wasn't dressed as a shinigami. Would he even know what her puce robes signified? More than likely, this was a member of the Onmitsuko or similar, who was in disguise.

The lady who bumped into his body had responded. Whew, at least she was alright. He didn’t want to end up taking care of another damsel in distress. She seemed to have masterful control over her reiatsu as he witnessed her little trick. All the papers were glowing pink color, while the air smelled completely different, and there was a strange feeling coming off of her. It was apparent that she was using some sort of ability to command all the papers to come back down to her hands. That was certainly nifty especially for someone dealing with paperwork.
”Yeah, I handled that lot. They were picking on some kid and I didn’t want to just stand around.” He let out a small yawn as his weight shifted to the side. He probably looked like he had just woken up from a nap or was about to take one. Usually he held the outward appearance of a lazy man. Even during meetings with his captain he would pretend to be a sheepish and lazy man. Of course this was a small portion of his personality but in reality he just liked to keep expectations low. No one needed to know his true potential.
She then told him to watch out in a joking tone. He scoffed at her. ”How dare you!?” He cracked his own smile. His tone displayed more of his personality as being a jokester and someone who would take this situation light heartedly. ”I’m pretty sure you’re the one who bumped into me, the hero, after all. I mean I was just minding my own business, beating up bullies, being a good citizen. Then you come whacking me from behind. I should report you to the authorities.” His smile turned into a bigger grin as he leaned in close. ”And guess what I am the authority.”
He lightly tapped her on the nose and stood back, wanting to avoid any sort of knee jerk response which would result in pain. Arashi wondered just how much of his little tirade would be taken wrong or if she would go along with it.

Blod continued to look up at him, as she bent down in order to pick up the scrolls which now lay before her feet. Scooping them once more into her arms- she had rolled them tighter than before so that she could see over the top of the pile this time, her large blue eyes perfectly framed by her box-like fringe and the uppermost scroll, chipped and yellowing atop the pile. This guy seemed to be a bit indolent, yawning at her without the customary display of apology that either of the cultures she knew found acceptable. She ususally had very little time for his ilk but she couldn't just ignore him now. He did seem to have a sense of humour, though which improved her perception of him somewhat.
"You're the hero, huh?" She asked, an eyebrow, once again raised in an arch, before letting him finish his sentence. "Well I never saw any examples of a hero being the authority... I always thought that heroes eschewed authority at every opportu-" but she was cut across by a finger reaching over her tower of papers and touching her nose. She blinked, staring at him wide-eyed before giggling. The cheek! "What on earth was that?" she asked, still fighting back chuckles.
"For that, you can take these," she gestured the pile of scrolls towards him, "and you can accompany back to the Kidoshu's Headquarters so I don't bump into anyone else." she told him, a smile on her face. "What's your name, so I can tell your captain about the cheek you've been displaying to the Vice Kidocho of the Kido Corps?" she said, employing her title flatly with little bravado, her ocean-blue eyes gazing into his dark ones.
