Cable pulls a wire along the wall under the desk, his upper body hidden from view as he digs about under a desk. Sticking the wire up and behind the desk he reaches around over the front, struggling with trying to reach the wire with both hands, his body twisting as he tries to get that last few inches in-between the hands to pass off the wire. No luck, Of course...maybe if I... reaching up and gently laying the wire on top of the desk and slowly retracts his hand, the wire balanced carefully on the top of the desk. Staying on his knees he slowly back out and stands up, not bumping the table and grabbing the wire. Finally.... Reaching over he plugs the wire into a cell phone, flipping through the screen until he gets to his online music player. Scrolling through his channels he pulls up his most relaxing station, the core band being called 'Frou Frou'. It was his favorite station, dedicated to relaxing music and soothing tones.
Hitting play he grabs a small toolbox on the ground and sets it on his desk, pulling the metal beaded wire that lights up the desk with the yellow swinging light of a incandescent bulb. Flipping open the lid Cable grabs a small screw driver and begins to undo the fasteners holding the plating together on his left arm. Normally he would let Mechan work on things like this, the technical side of things being Mechans focus but it was getting rather annoying having to approach Mechan for every little thing that happened to go wrong. This time it was simply a little stiffness in his elbow, likely caused by on of his interior bolts getting tightened under pressure and not loosening when released. That gave him about a 15lb resistance to retracting and extending his arm and it was getting rather tedious.

Getting the screw driver in lace was not hard, the thin shaft of the tool fitting in between two of the mechanical servos that manipulate the bicep. Loosening the portion of the bolt he could reach he feels the tension in his arm literally 'pop' into release giving his arm the full range of motion that it normally had. Pu;ling the screw driver free Cable stretches his arm out and pulls it back in, the elbow popping a bit at its full extension. 'Oops, too loose.' Getting the screwdriver back into place he cranks on it, giving it a one eighth rotation, the torsion lock holding the bolt in place. Retesting the resistance he can literally feel the massive difference between the before and after on his arm.
In all actuality it was about time that he went through and started replacing some of his parts, the bolts and plating needing to be serviced. There was one other thing that he wanted to do though, having been putting it off for some time. Digging through his toolbox he pulls out a small wooden box, the inside filled with eight small studs, each one with a small screw like end. Unscrewing three screws on the back of each hand he uses the end of the shaft to pop the plate on the back of the hand off exposing the metal framing underneath, small screw holes available for the studs. Threading each one in, one at a time he uses a pair of pliers to fasten them all the way down. After that the reassembly on each hand was rather simple, the end look giving him a more 'aggressive' look and more importantly protecting his hands.
