“Attack!” Yellled a small blue haired boy who ran from one side of a white room to the other. He only looked to be about twelve years old but he had actually been alive for a much longer time. He was originally just a cat like hollow before his transformation, and now he was a human boy. At least that’s how it looked. It worked to his advantage because most people thought of him as an innocent boy and not someone that could freeze them to death in an instance.
His short legs carried him across the room as he came crashing down into a small hill of sand. He moved his right hand around, swinging a small action figure he had gotten from another room, and in his left hand he had another that was sitting in the dirt face down. “Die you bastard!” If someone was to come in to the scene they’d see he was playing with action figures. Fuyuki was trying to keep himself entertained now a days since he had lost his family. Everyone around him had abandoned him and left; it left him with quite the issue. In fact some would say it drove him to insanity.
He was just bored though. Everything he did now was because of boredom. At least before he had his pops to bug or his bigger friends. Now all he had was the sands, action figures, and the occasional snack. The boy rolled around in the sand for a bit longer as the time passed. Day in and day out it was the same for him. Always alone, always bored, and always yearning more. “Well, that was fun…” He whispered quietly to himself as he dropped his figures. His face showed how sad he was about being alone.
“I really wish there was someone here again.” He sat cross legged looking around the room a bit as a cold wind blew through. There wasn’t anyone there though. If there was he would have felt them by now, considering he felt the last one. His eyes trailed over to the left corner where the carcass of a lower level hollow. It was frozen in place from one of his attacks, there to sit for eternity, or until he decided to have a frozen treat. “Oh well, I guess I’ll just be here by myself, forever alone.” He shrugged his shoulders and put on another fake smile while picking his action figures back up. He might as well pretend it didn’t bother him or he might lose his mind again.
There it was. Theocelese knew that Reiatsu. He'd just come back from the Human World with a large cart full of things for both the diner and bar. It was...the blue cat? The one he sang Metallica to...how long ago? Was it weeks? Months? Years?! Theocelese frowned, having thought the Adjuchas long since disappeared like most of the others. He took a seat at his favored corner, and left his Shigai. Anticipation and excitement welled in his chest at the prospect of greeting someone he thought lost to the ages. He'd even gone so far as to use Sonido to hurry closer to the source, and when he came across the interior of Las Noches, he saw a little boy, blue haired, minding his business with some toys. Had the Adjuchas come so far in his absence?
"Fu...Fuyuki? Is that really you, or are you some plague of the mind rendering tricks into my eyes?" He called out, hesitant. It was hard to believe someone you thought dead for so long standing before you. His curious expression shifted quickly into aggression, as if this was another being mimicking the Reiatsu he knew. His right hand slid down to the left of his waist, gripping the blade's handle and slowly unsheathing it.
"Foul Daemon, speak before I see you splattered across the sand!" Theocelese screamed with fury now, aiming his blade at the boy.

The boy froze in place when he heard someone speak. He had not been really paying attention, rather he had zoned completely out while playing, and was still in the same spot. However when he heard the familiar voice a man he was brought back to reality. His head turned to see a man pointing a blade at him. At first he thought to go on guard until he recognized who it was exactly. “Yes, my name is Fuyuki. I’m not a demon, Theo.” He grinned widely at the man.
“Though, I guess some of these guys tend to think of me as one.” He threw his one action figure at the block of ice that was encased around the hollow. “It’s been a long time..” His smile faded as he averted his gaze. It had been a very long time since he saw anyone from that particular group and truth be told he was somewhat happy. He was hesitant though because last time he found someone they ended up vanishing again. “I thought you along with everyone else had left me forever, until I found Solinex, but he’s gone again. Are you going to leave again too?” A small tear drop fell from his face as he brought his knees to his chest.
Fuyuki was lonely and he didn’t want to go through that pain again. He never wanted to go through it again.
Still weary of the Arrancar, Theocelese kept his blade aimed Fuyuki for just a few moments longer. Hesitation was written across his face, and his eyes were alight with a litany of mistrust. He exhaled slowly, his paternal instincts overriding the notion that this being was some shapeshifting shade meant to torment him. Theocelese sheathed his blade, and approached the boy with caution in each step. His golden hues, normally glowing with curiosity and amusement, were dulled, as if he consigned himself to the nurturing role of a father. The former Eighth Espada lowered himself to a squatting position. "I left because it was my fate to seek vengeance upon those who once wronged me in the gravest of manners. But I am back, for good. I will not leave again without word or warning." Theocelese knew all too well the woes of this feeling of abandonment, and upon the mentioning of the name of Solinex, one of his most beloved sons, Theocelese was forced to speak with gritted teeth. Pain re-surged within his chest, one that he crumpled like a piece of parchment, incinerated it, and scattered the ashes to the astral plains. He could not think of Solinex, nor Cross, Hitomi, Beastia, Illiana, and many of the others he once called family.
A smile melancholy in nature formed across his face, and he reached over to pick Fuyuki up, putting his hands upon the boy and lifting him as Theocelese himself rose up. He nearly cradled the boy Arrancar to him.
"I apologize for not being here. I was in the Human Realm getting things needed here. Tell me, Fuyuki, would you care for a nice bowl of icecream?" He asked, his form turning to move back to the interior of Las Noches from where he returned.
He felt it, the warmth, he looked up to Theo as he started lifting him up. It seemed that the both of them had things to do in the human world. When Fuyuki went the last time he had changed from a cat to a boy. Which really wasn’t too weird in his mind. He wondered what sort of revenge Theo got in the human world while he was away. At least for now the boy would allow his guard to fall though he hoped that the man was being honest. There was something about him that made the boy wish to follow him.
“What’s ice cream?” He asked. With his right hand he wiped away the tears that were flowing down his cheeks. He looked around trying to find this thing called ice cream, he wondered if maybe it was some sort of special dish. Fuyuki only knew about two types of food, fish, and hollows. Both of which he had gotten tired of since he had been alive for so long but it was still the things that got him by. So if there was a new type of food he could try he was always up for it.
So the boy didn't know what the treat was, this would make the "unveiling" all the more better. A genuine smile formed across the Arrancar's lips, and he felt...happy. Truly happy, this was not the madness of bloodlust, nor the euphoria of locking blades against another opponent. Rather, this was akin to something he felt a longing for. Family, not in the sense of men and women who would unite to draw arms against any being who threatened them. The feeling of acting as a father would once more aided Theocelese in shattering the crippling depression of having lost his former sons, and if this continued...he may soon not have a bed surrounded by empty liquor bottles. For as much as Hidane's words eased the tension in his mind, relieving the hammering migraines that told him to hunt and kill, to drink the blood and bathe in the gore of any prey readily available, speaking of hope for the future could only do so much for a man who has lost nearly everything dear to him.
"You will like it, but I must ask two things of you first. Release these Hollow if they are kept in some form of cold stasis. You need not toy with them, and they will do nothing but flee from here. If they threatened you, they have learned their lesson." He spoke, heading back inside the interior corridors of Las Noches. His footfalls, slowly leading the man and the boy back to the diner. "The second, help me put away what I've brought back and when we are done, I'll even heat up a thick slice of cake for you too, how does that sound?"

Fuyuki let out a brief sigh before unleashing the hollow from his prison of ice. Of course it freaked out the moment it released, searching for its previous prey, before fleeing in terror as it had realized what happened. “I guess he can go free.” He stuck his tongue out at the spot where the hollow was last seen before hopping down from Theo. “Okay okay okay.. what’s cake?” The boy had a look of amusement and awe as he walked with the man. He never really experienced things that normal people did or in this case people that were a part of the old group.
He was always a cat adjuchas who enjoyed fish after all. So cake and ice cream were unfamiliar waters. As they made it to the diner Fuyuki begun to grab multiple bags and transport them inside with sonido. He moved quickly trying to get everything inside before Theo could help him. He even started to try putting the items away. The boy was still a bit of a child at heart after all and wanted to see these surprises. So he was going as fast as his little body could. “Theo, do you think other’s will come enjoy cake and ice cream with us if we’re nice and offer it?”
"Thank you for releasing him, Fuyuki." Theocelese's head turned, watching the Hollow run off. Now if it ran into Nemesis...he could not help the beast there. "Cake is...Well, many love cake. I have a feeling you will too."
Onwards into the refurbished diner, its appearance changed since the last time Fuyuki saw it. From a more western feel, to a far considerable rustic image of his ancient homeworld, the diner had been changed drastically. He paused when Fuyuki was quick to grab the many bags that remained just outside the diner's door, and he couldn't help but smile. There were...many things in which he hadn't intended for the boy to see, and far more things were improperly placed. But he dismissed this, as all this talk of cake and ice cream caused a rare sweet tooth to spike as a desire. Theocelese approached Fuyuki, resting a hand on the child's head and ruffling his hair slightly. "I hope so. This is a big place, and I've...already found some friends that would share this home with us. Strike such a thought from your mind, and please go have a seat at the counter."
He gave a playful 'tsk', then began to put the items that needed freezing, rather than refrigeration, in the freezer, and vice-versa. Everything else stayed in place, and one carton of ice cream was taken, one that he enjoyed in the few times he could stomach the rich divulging of a triple-chocolate fudge scoop or two. Theocelese brought the carton out, remaining on his feet across the counter from Fuyuki. After the bowls, spoons, and scooper were brought out, he nodded over to a small display case on the far end of the counter. Cakes of all variety were there, and to go with this, two thick cuts of chocolate cake, layered in between two lines of whipped frosting that extended to the top and back of the pieces. Once these were brought over, he slid each piece of cake into their respective bowls...and then began stacking scoop after scoop of ice cream on top of the cake. Then, and only then, did he slowly push the bowl towards Fuyuki, holding the spoon in his other hand.
"Slowly now, you'll get a...brain freeze." A grin formed at the irony, given the boy's powers.

He did what the man asked. He hopped over to the seat on one foot as he waited for him to be done putting things in the correct spot. As he waited impatiently he begun to bounce up and down in his seat. He was so happy to be back at this place with a friend and not only that, he was getting surprises. Fuyuki watched as he pulled out a weird looking container, a bowl, and some utensils. If he remembered correctly those were called spoons and bigger spoons. However before he opened the container he saw him walk away to a cabinet.
That was when he first saw it. Something that looked like a slice of heaven. It looked dark brown with multiple layers, whatever it was it had to be good. He started grinning from ear to ear as Theo placed it in the bowl and started to scoop out the ice cream. This was what life was about for the young boy, enjoying a good treat with a friend every now and then. It was better than constantly fighting or fleeing.
The boy took both the bowl and the spoon from him. He nodded taking his warning seriously. The boy sliced through the cake and ice cream like a hot knife with butter. He brought it up to his mouth and ate his first bite. It was all over then. The boy tasted things he never had before. It was like an explosion from a flavor grenade. The chocolate flavoring mixed with the cooling of the ice cream. It was absolutely perfect. He lost his self-control and within a few seconds had devoured it all. That was when he felt it, the brain freeze he was warned about. “Ugh……. Why’d I do that?” He groaned more as he squirmed in his chair. “Is this what it’s like when I use my powers on people? This is terrible.”
The older looking Arrancar couldn't help but to try and contain a laugh, bringing a spoon-wielding hand up to his face and pressing the backside of the appendage against his lips. "Because you failed to heed my instructions, young man. I take it you've never eaten a dish like this before, so I will excuse you this one time. If you want others to enjoy this with us in the future, you must have better manners." Theocelese set the spoon back in his bowl in favor of a few napkins. He leaned across the counter and began wiping the mess of dessert off of the boy's face. Ice cream and cake being what they were, simple wiping with a few napkins wouldn't do the trick. What wasn't picked up, he dealt with by simply licking the face of his thumb and running it across the boy's cheeks. It wasn't perfect, but it was good enough.
"As to what it feels like to be frozen over, I'm not sure. I've been burned, struck by lightning, impaled, all manners of harm I've felt. Yet I've never suffered the fate of the Hollow in the courtyard. I hope to never experience it, either, nor do I hope to see it happen unnecessarily ever again." The words weren't delivered in a harsh manner, but the lesson was still there. He knew Fuyuki, at least in his Adjuchas form, to be cunning and intelligent. Maybe the removal of his mask caused his mental prowess to devolve some, but either way, it was a lesson he felt that needed sharing.
"There is another Arrancar I'd like for you to meet soon, Fuyuki. He is...crass, and very straight to the point. I think the two of you will get along quite well, but for now, please go wash your face off." He hadn't quite thought of what to do yet, part of Theocelese wanted to boot up his old VHS player and find some old cartoons to put on. Then he remembered the massive piles of empty alcohol bottles, crumbled packs of cigarettes, overflowing ashtray and how atrocious it all smelled together. Maybe he'd be better off asking the boy what he wanted to do.

As he felt his brain defrosting he felt the man trying his best to clean up his face. At least he was forgiving him this time. Fuyuki had quirks to him one of them being he always acted like a kid even though he was old enough to be an adult. He just preferred this form and this façade. It made it easier to lure people in. If they underestimated him it would be much easier to take them out if he had too. “Sounds like you’ve been through a lot but I understand. I usually try not to fight with the others but ever since I’ve been on my own I’ve had too. Now a days though it’s rare for them to come after me but when they do sometimes I go overboard.” He looked down a little as he went to the sink to clean up.
It was true he did go overboard a bit when fighting for his survival. That was because his instincts were to do so. Fuyuki wasn’t a trained fighter like Theo, or a magician like Solinex. No he was just a cat creature before he became stronger based off of his instincts. Maybe he could learn to harness his powers better from Theo. As he walked back he noticed just how much of a mess the place looked and wondered just how long the man had been here. “I’d like to meet them then and hopefully they are a bit interesting.” He smiled a bit looking up to him.
“Do you think I should stop with the façade? I’m sure you’ve noticed that there is more to me. A bit more than I let on most of the time.” For someone that looked so young his features displayed a look of something other than innocence. He mentioned it now because if there was ever someone he could trust it would be Theo. ’I wonder if he has noticed at all or if I’m giving it away.’ He thought to himself as he waited on a response.
"All in good time." Theocelese responded to Fuyuki's further inquiry about the other Arrancar he was given the chance to meet recently. Upon the return of the blue-haired boy, his question caused the older looking Arrancar's face to distort in a soft frown. Theocelese knew Fuyuki was more than what the two of them were pretending, and he would have left it at that. The truth of the situation spoiled the mood, but Fuyuki was not deserving of a false answer. Rather than lift Fuyuki so that he could sit on the counter, Theocelese instead moved down to one knee and put a hand on the boy Arrancar's shoulder now.
"I know you're not some child for me to spoil rotten, as much as I liked the notion of having that in my life at this time. I must accept you're more than that, and you as well. I cannot lie to you Fuyuki, even with this acceptance, I would not willingly see you in combat as you are. You are as I, a Vasto Lorde, and with your power I know you could contest even a Gotei Captain, but it is your form as a boy which would have me see you stay here." Theocelese frowned no longer, and instead he smiled reassuringly. "Do not think this as some kind of complete hindrance, because there will be some enemy in the future who will fall to their better nature of not wishing to harm a child. I'm one of them, that much should be obvious...Ultimately, it is your decision to make, Fuyuki. We can stop this little game of...pretend...any time you wish."
Post by Fuyuki Kiyoshi on Jun 12, 2017 0:25:01 GMT
He nodded to the man while looking down. He knew that maybe it was time to make a change. After all he wanted to help Theo with everything he was planning to do. Though how could he actually change? He was stuck in this form unless there was some sort of way to make him age. Fuyuki looked up to the man now. “Well, I think maybe it is time for a change. After all I’m wanting to help you and everyone else out. Do you think you have a way to help me?”
He motioned to his petite body when he finished his question. If there was a chance to change his body he would. “Because I don’t really have a way to do this on my own. I mean I thought when I took the mask off that things would have changed but maybe subconsciously I did it to myself.” Maybe that was the reason for him being stuck in this child’s body. He was ready to grow up though, he needed to grow up, and become a warrior. A warrior who would help to defend his family and to help make a better future for himself.
Theocelese wished he knew of some sort of miracle to help Fuyuki with this, and the answer was all too obvious on the man's face. The smile shifted to one of a more sad nature, and Theocelese's hand remained on Fuyuki's shoulders. His hand squeezed down softly, as if it were some kind of reassurance to the words he was to deliver. "I'm sorry, my friend. This solution is one beyond my comprehension. If you asked me how to kill a man in the most efficient way possible, I could answer that. I could teach you such things from sun up to sun down, everyday of the week. Whenever I am unable to do something, I take a more..." Theocelese paused, deciding whether or not he should mention such a thing. "...religious, route. I pray to the gods I worshiped in the age when the fastest way to travel the ocean was by boat, and on land, a horse.
Most would think me a fool to do this, Fuyuki, but when I told you of my leaving this place to fulfill my oath of vengeance, it was not without the guidance of the goddess Athena. I do not mean figuratively, and I do mean literally. With her guidance, as well as the aid of the Forge god, I was able to bring a close to a chapter in my life's history. Perhaps a session of prayer will deliver you your desires, but know if this is the case...you will be in their debt, same as I." It wasn't much of a condolence, but it was the only thing Theocelese could think of to potentially help the boy. This was not a fight he could prove useful in, and it had been quite the long while since Theocelese felt useless to help another.

“I’m not sure..” He looked away as he felt his chest tightened a bit. He felt like they wouldn’t answer him and they would just choose to ignore them. Where they even real in the first place? He truly wondered were gods real or were they fake? He had met Shinigami and some mortals considered them to be gods. Fuyuki wasn’t too sure what there really was but if Theo was giving him the advice he should follow it. He hadn’t fooled him yet or led him down the wrong path. He looked the man in the eyes while he begun to speak.
“If that’s what you think I should do then I’ll give it a shot.” He lowered his body down to both of his knees and put his hands together. His head hung lower as he closed his eyes and begun to whisper lowly. “Uh I don’t know if this is the right way to do this but to the god who helped Theo, can you help me? To become an adult, a warrior, and to grow in height a bit. Help me to achieve these goals and I will forever be in debt; I will pledge myself to help when the time comes.”
Theocelese let out an amused chuckle at Fuyuki's...plea for assistance. He couldn't help it, despite his knowing he was more than a simple child, Fuyuki sure as hell couldn't break from it. "Good enough, for now. But there is a proper way to do this, as we did in the ancient times...though that will take a long time and usually requires the presence of many others. I have an idea, come with me." Theocelese said, ruffling Fuyuki's hair and standing up straight. The Arrancar went to the fridge, and plucked out two great steaks. On a wooden cutting board, Theocelese trimmed the fat from the cuts of beef, putting them in a plastic bowl and then proceeded to season them afterwards with his usual spices, salt, pepper, and oregano. He covered the meat with a cloth, washed his hands, and proceeded to head to his room. The walk took a little less than fifteen minutes, but once at the door Theocelese let out a nervous laugh. "Please excuse...uhm...The mess. I haven't cleaned yet."
The door was opened, and immediately, he guided little Fuyuki to the left of his rather gargantuan sized room, far away from the booze bottles, empty smoke packs, and any of the...other things the boy might have gotten curious about, and then rummaged through. Fuyuki was led to what looked like a collection of three statues, each with bowls of gold hanging over unlit coals. The center figure, a woman clad in armour and wielding a shield on one arm, and a spear with the opposing hand, stood righteously with an owl sitting on her armoured shoulder.
"This is Athena, the goddess who helped me in a time not so long ago." The strips of fat were placed on the inside of the golden containers, and he lit the coals underneath as well as several cones of incense. The smell of pine trees and ocean waves would help with the somewhat stale smell of the room in time, but with the two being so close, that was all Fuyuki would be able to smell. Theocelese went down on his knees, clasping both hands together across his lap. "Do as I do, but allow me to send my words to Her.
O Mighty Athena, wisest of all the gods, daughter of Aegis bearing Zues and protector of Athens. We beseech you in all your glory to aid young Fuyuki, who wishes to not eternally hold the body of a mere boy no longer. Grant him the form of an aged warrior, and accept the offering given, and I shall see to it any task given unto me, no matter if it is impossible for any mortal man or god in the heavens, will be done."
As Theocelese spoke, the fat cooked, sizzling quickly. Though much to Theocelese's surprise, the bright red charcoals exploded in flames which engulfed the offering bowl, and the sizzling was no more. The lights in the room faded, leaving illumination by flame the only source of brightness in the room. Theocelese looked, physically and facially, taken aback, and there was a look of uncertainty on his face. This had been the first time since his meeting Athena, was there any answer. The fire died, and the ceiling lights came to life once more, revealing how astonished Theocelese truly was. The offering bowl looked as if no flame, or offering ever touched its metallic form.

“Woah, what was that about?” He said lowly to the man as he saw the effects. It seemed that their offering and prayer might have been heard. At least that is what he was hoping for. Of course it could be Theo just trying to play a little trick on him. He stifled a yawn with his hand as he begun to walk away from the statues. “I suppose we do need to wait but it’s getting kind of late for me. I’m going to get some sleep.” He said as he started to walk towards the door. He wasn’t sure why he was so tired suddenly but he wanted to go to bed.
“Hey, where do I sleep?” Fuyuki looked over groggily as he was slowly falling asleep at his feet. All of that sugar was causing him to come crashing down harder than ever before. All he wanted to do was sleep even if it meant falling asleep standing up. Another yawn came from the boy’s mouth this time he didn’t bother to cover it. He swayed side to side as his eyes started to get heavier as if they were being weighed down by some invisible force.
"I...I honestly am not sure. I've never seen such a response before..." By the sheer surprise in both the expression in his face and the tone of the Arrancar's words, the notion he was playing a trick could have been ruled out. That, or he was one hell of a good liar. Yet no power came from Theocelese as the flames rose and the lighting diminished. He stood a few moments after Fuyuki did, still utterly flabbergasted at what he bore witness to. Theocelese hadn't so much as registered Fuyuki's words, not until it looked like the boy was about to fall over and then, he picked the younger looking Arrancar up. "There are plenty of rooms for you to choose from, but for the time being we'll get you in the closest." With Fuyuki held in his arms, Theocelese took to the hallway. Not more than thirty feet or so and to his left was an empty room. The door opened, and together they entered. Fuyuki was set down on the bed, and his hair ruffled.
"Sleep well." Were the only words given by Theocelese before he left the room, closing the door behind him and letting his feet take him to the diner. There was much to contemplate, and he began to wonder if such a pact was a wise one to make with Athena. He was already in her debt, and if he had been needed, surely she would have made herself known in one form or another to give him a task.

The boy tossed around in the bed as he fell into a deeper sleep than first imagined. Sweat formed on his brow as his body started to heat up. It was unnatural for someone as cold natured as himself to be this warm. He was going deeper into an unconscious state. It was almost like a coma. On the inside he was running in darkness trying to find an escape as he continued to hear whispers that were driving him insane. No matter what direction he turned he was faced with eternal darkness. It was a plague of despair that was never ending.
He crouched down as tears were beginning to form. The whispers were that of his family and friends. He could hear them all telling him different things. Solinex was there whispering to him and so was Cross. Fuyuki started to cry as he was forced to remember over and over again how they vanished. He had been reunited briefly with Soli before he was gone again. On the outside tears were rolling from under his eyes as he continued to move. The sweat was pouring down his body now as it built up on the bedding.
As he sat in the darkness of his subconscious he heard a new whisper. It was that of a female voice. ‘Follow..’ He felt almost a magnet pull forwards as he got to his feet. The boy started to walk and then to run as the voice got stronger. As he was running he started to feel different it wasn’t long before his entire form changed. It wasn’t a regression either it was progression. He grew into a man, his hair was changing and body was becoming more muscular. The further he ran the more rapid his progression got until it plateaued.
He looked around now as the voice stopped. His entire body had aged to somewhere along the lines of an early twenty year old. His hair grown much longer than before, and his muscles were even stronger. As he was going over it all he felt a strange sensation. Fuyuki looked up now as a glowing individual was standing in the air. Her hand was resting on his head with a gentle smile on her face at the time. In that moment he knew their prayer had worked and at the same time he could tell that there would be a debt to pay.
Her beauty was not something one could see without having to pay for. She vanished as quickly as she appeared and the only thing left was a glowing path that he begun to follow. As he continued down the path the darkness started to fade with a golden light and as his eyes adjusted he saw it. It was his home. It was better though, everything was fixed, and at the bar was Theo adorned in this golden light. There was Solinex right next to him waving. Fuyuki didn’t quite understand what was going on but he rushed forward and just like that he awoke.
He was changed though, just like in his dream, his body had morphed to mirror it. “It was her..”
As little Fuyuki went off into the dreamworld, Theocelese found himself back in his room and on the bed drastically in need of new linens, pillow cases and a thorough washing of the covers. This was the first time in a long while that he didn't chug down whatever alcoholic swill until he passed out with the bottle of whatever did him in for the night still clutched in his hand. The smell of incense had long since drifted out his open window, and the smell of the place started getting to him. Everything on his bed was stripped down to just the mattress, and the rest were thrown in the industrial washers and dryers with the laundry that needed to be done. After a few hours when everything was fresh and clean, Theocelese dressed his bed again and consolodated the scattered bottles, cigarette filters and ash into piles ready to be picked up. That was about all the effort and drive the man had for the time being, picking up the shattered pieces of his life wouldn't happen in one swift go. He would have to take it a day at a time. The flowery scent and overall improved smell of cleanliness helped Theocelese to drift off as well.
He woke early as he always did to the buzzing of his archaic alarm clock and his first course of action was to go down to the kitchen and begin the early ritual of getting coffee and breakfast started.
