Cyrell didn't come to Hueco Mundo often, and when she did, it was almost always for a singular purpose; materials. It was a land of glorious opportunity for refining all sorts of crap into usable raw materials. Glass and iron could be sifted from the sands in infinite abundance, the wood from the trees was a legitimate material not to mention all of the crap that was laying around Las Nochas. But she wasn't in Las Nochas now. No, Cyrell was out in the desert, looking for... Hollows. It wasn't often that that happened but today she wanted a hollow for something specific. Within the genetic code of every hollow was the power to regenerate at high speed, and this was the power that Cyrell needed to gather in material form in order to complete one of her latest projects.
Hollows weren't particularly easy to come by, however. She had managed to find one but it had been a little troublesome. Cyrell was not strong, and as a result it had started to overcome her. And when it did she had had no choice but to vapourize it with a cero. There wasn't much left and what was left, she couldn't exactly gather blood from. It was basically carrion and nothing more. She frowned, stymied.

High above the scene, obscured by the endless darkness that was the night sky of Hueco Mundo, lurked a pair of watchful, hungering eyes. Circling silently, Blight Blackmarrow was peering down at the figures, having been waiting for a moment where opportunity may arise. He had been waiting for the Hollow of the sands to tear this woman to shreds, to which he would swoop in and take the prize for himself. If he had been feeling particularly hungry, which he always was, he might even try and slay the Hollow itself.
To his surprise, nothing happened as expected. The Hollow had overstepped his boundaries apparently, and found out just as Blight had that she was not nearly as weak as she looked. What remained of the hollow lay strewn around her in the sands. Maybe something that Blight could have a go at...? No. At this point, the remains of the beast were table scraps compared to this interesting woman.
Internally, fear and hunger duked it out. She could leave him just the same as that Hollow that laid out, but... she could also be... delicious..
Finally Blight had made his decision, atleast to get a closer look. Beginning to careful swoop down lower and lower, he circled in closer to see if opportunity would arise after all.
Luckily, she didn't have to do any more soul searching. A hollow that somewhat resembled a... Vulture? It hovered around the scene, keen for some scraps obviously. She waved casually up at it. It wasn't any stronger than the last one, and so if it caused her any problems she wouldn't have an issue evaporating this one as well. It was convenient for both of them that she had come across the hollow at this time, for Blight's sake so that he could feast upon the remains of the hollow Cyrell had slain, and for Cyrell's sake so that she could retrieve exactly what she wanted. As it circled close, Cyrell took advantage of the proximity to step in close to it, with a crackle her sonido had her right above it. She was able to swing down and land upon the hollow's back, in an attempt to drag it to the ground where her job would be that much easier. She could always... Take her samples in the air? But that would make things a little more difficult, she expected. Still it depended how much the damn thing struggled. Se was reminded, all of a sudden of an old Nat King Cole ditty.

Blight was still mulling over what he was planning on doing when getting close enough when suddenly, the woman vanished. Oh no, this wasn't good. His slight grin and wicked gaze broke instantly and flipped to sheer panic as he felt someone, undoubtably the woman, grapple onto his back. He couldn't help but blurt out a "SQUAWWWK!!" of surprise, frantically flapping his wings and flailing mid-air.
His flailing soon left him and his passenger plummeting towards the sand, feathers flying about here, a squawk there. As they got closer to the ground, Blight's flailing finally halted to a stop. Given up it seems? Or possibly something else.
From beneath, Blight had wriggled his way free of a clone, a copy of himself that allowed him a quick moment of escape, but where? Down. Straight down into the shadow that the two cast, desperately diving down and sinking into the shadow like a rock into a puddle.
Doing his best to stay concealed, Blight closed his eyes tightly and stayed perfectly still inside of their shadow, praying that this wouldn't end in tragedy, atleast for him.
As the fake bird and the woman finally slammed directly onto Blight in his shadow, he held his breath. As the moments went by, he couldn't take it anymore, fear sending him quickly scurrying to squeeze along the long shadow that this woman and his fake cast, the path getting thinner and harder to shove himself into. He just had to get some distance between them before...
ZzzzzSHTTBOOOOM!
The fake surged with energy and poofed into an explosion of shadowy reiatsu, Blight himself now flying out of his shadow and frantically working to gain distance between him and his assailant.
The bird didn't really like having Cyrell upon its back which was, in all reality, completely understandable. It began to fall through the sky sharply, its panic making it completely forget to flap its wings. However when it completely stopped flailing altogether, Cyrell realized that there must be up. She anticipated that it would try and fling her into the sand with a low swoop, and as a result, she simply let go of the bird, her ability to create platforms to stand on using her sonido allowing her to simply stand in mid air while the fake bird plummeted towards the ground. As it hit the ground the bird exploded outwards into a burst of reiryoku. Huh, so that had been its end game. Cyrell looked hungrily at the aftermath of the explosion. There was every chance that some interesting things had been created there at the epicentre, but at this point in time the hollow blood was more important.
There was no way the hollow had killed itself and this was confirmed when Cyrell saw it flying out of the ground. Interesting, it appeared to have simply disappeared. But then why come from the ground? Her analytical mind worked quickly as she used her Sonido to effortlessly outpace it and appear in front of the bird, The Syringe held before her. Usually it was a tool used for injecting but it could also be used to poke tiny holes from which she could take fluid samples.
"I don't want to hurt you, I just need a sample. The carrion is all yours." she offered the vulture, kindly. There was no point in being overly hostile, and having to evaporate another one.

Blight frantically tried to escape from the woman, flapping in desperation to try and gain some distance between them. Before he knew it, she was suddenly in front of him, wielding some sort of tiny needle weapon.
"SQUAWK..!" His eyes got wide, flapping his wings wildly to try and stop from slamming right into her. Her words were barely registered in the surprise, his attempt to backpedal leaving him suddenly flopping down onto his back into the sand, flailing around to continue his attempted escape. As he scrambled, the feeling of being trapped overwhelming him. The cornered rat bites the cat? Or in this case, the cornered Blight turns out the lights.
With one final good flap, Blight lifting himself out of the sand, a torrent of darkness flooding out like smoky darkness, clouding shadows obscuring the immediate area, and flooding out further still. Within the shadow smokescreen, he frantically fled, disappearing into it both physically and concealing his own detection. The entire cloud of shadow pulsed with his reiatsu signature, leaving him to be even more untrackable. From the darkness, resonating throughout it as if spoken from everywhere, Blight's cackling call sounded out, "I don't settle for tablescraps... I want the whole roast, and all the trimmings..."
Hmm, so he was able to hide in shadows, and create his own kind of shadow smokescreen? What an interesting little hollow. However, for someone of Cyrell's calibre such a thing was fairly easy to blow away with a burst of her reiatsu, and she did so. A rolling, crushing wave of reiatsu was expelled from her. Cyrell's reiatsu had the quality of pure fear. A static, dulling the senses, the creeping feeling of sleep paralysis. So the hollow wanted to eat her, it seemed? Tch. She almost would have been better off getting her blood from elsewhere. His cloud was gone now, so it wouldn't be too difficult to finish from here on out. By the light of the moon, she could see the bird. She pulled the gun from the holster at her hip, and aimed a single freezing shot at the bird.
It would burst forth with Bala speed, exploding outwards and freezing Blight's wings and legs. He would be bound and helpless. It would let Cyrell get in close. She struck him with The Syringe, and used the flow of blood to fill up 5 or 6 glass phials. This would be valuable material for her next project.

Once again, any confidence in slaughtering this woman was blasted away as swiftly as his shadow-cloud had. As the darkness vaporized, Blight hung in the air, suddenly very vulnerable, and very panicked. His eyes grew big and he began to frantically flap his wings in a desperate attempt to back pedal and escape. To further his dismay, the woman drew a weapon and blasted him with precision aim. All the could do was flail in the air and watch as the blast tore through the air toward him. Flinching just as it hit, Blight braced for impact, squawking out loudly in reaction.
But he didn't feel a wing get blown off, or a hole bored through him. Opening one eye, he peered around quickly before looking down over himself. He seemed fine? Oh no. He couldn't move. His wings and legs were stuck still in the air, like they were frozen solid. Panic rushed through his feathered form again now, struggling against the invisible constraints frantically. Worse yet, he saw her beginning to make her way towards him. All he could do was wriggle and flail his neck around as she got closer, yanking back the best he could.
As she got close, she revealed her needle weapon once again, sticking him without hesitation. The needle was only a slight prick, but Blight knew that this wasn't all she was going to do. He could feel himself bleeding, and could now see that she seemed to be collecting his blood. Instinct seemed to well up inside of him now, turning to the only defense he seemed to be able to do while frozen.
His eyes glowing red, and his beak curling open, energy began to build up in his throat, charging a last ditch Cero to get her to release him.
Name: Cero (Hollow Flash) Class: Cero/Bala Type: Offensive Range: 100 Meters Tier: IV Description: Are high-powered energy blasts that can be fired from various places on the body. Only Menos, Arrancar, and Vizard have so far been shown to use Cero attacks, and it appears that stronger entities can use it more efficiently.
Just as she had finished collecting and stoppering her last phial, the hollow began to charge a cero. Ahh yes, good. This was in fact, exactly what Cyrell needed. Making use of her excellent speed, she stepped backwards, putting some considerable distance between them once more. She withdrew her zanpakuto.
"Bleed, Espantajo." she said, and as she did, energy erupted outwards as she returned to her hollow form. A huge shaggy beast, with a blank staring mask, and jagged, gnarled claws. The hollow launched its cero, and Cyrell slashed at her own wrist as it did so. The huge outwelling of blood from her arterie met with the flow of the cero and the two melded together, the blood absorbing the entire force of the cero blast, and becoming a huge solid crystal, which shattered into many shards on the desert floor. The ice would melt at this point, and the hollow would be free to go if it so wished. Cyrell would simply collect what was hers and get ready to go back and do some crafting.
Of course it was entirely possible the bird would want to attack and so for that reason she maintained her resurrección release.

With his Cero finally reaching critical mass, the beam of energy roared out towards the woman from Blight's beak. He had a bad feeling that this wasn't going to do a thing, but he had no other choice. His wings and clawed legs still in a stasis, he had to do what he could do survive, if even for only a minute more. The woman suddenly stepped backward a distance, but didn't seem to be dodging his Cero, which was obvious bad news.
Worse news than he knew. As she stepped back, she spoke out and suddenly erupted in steam and smoke, losing sight of her for a moment. As she reemerged, Blight's body shuttered at the sight of the ragged beast that replaced this frail woman. Worse yet, blood spewed from a self-inflicted wound to encompass his Cero, coagulating into a swirling mass. After a moment, it seemed to crytsalize, then shatter all across the sand below. Swallowing hard, Blight's feathers were fluffed with sheer terror.
It didn't take him but a single moment more of staring at this monster before him to begin flailing against his frozen constrains again. Finally, some give, and then shatter. His wings were free, then his legs, and without a moment of hesitation more, he vanished, stepping off into the distance with a powerful flap of his wings.
