The alley was almost pitch black despite it being 12:30. A small firefly of light bobbed slightly in the darkness, a lone cherry of flame. The source of the light comes from a cigarette belonging to Alex, as he patiently waits for his trap to be sprung.
While his current job wasn't personal it was going to be enjoyable. He'd been hired to pulp some rapist freak by the father of the girl the punk had hurt. Alex normally stayed away from criminal ventures, but just desserts were something he didn't like to pass up on.
His plan was actually pretty well thought out. He had contacted the target claiming to be a buyer for drugs, something the target had in spades. The guy had bit the bait almost immediately after Alex had told him he was a rich American looking to have a good time in Japan.
As the sun set a little someone showed the self from the far side of the alley. He could almost be positive that it was his target so he spoke up.
“Mr. KAABIWAARII?” Alex made sure to screw up his name and mess up his japanese the best he could. Needed to seem legit.
Yeong glanced at the track record in her hand, kanji. Not really her strongest suit, kanji. But she comprehended most of it. A woman, ofcourse, tied to the korean gang, had contacted her. A favour she wanted to call in, provided she kept silent as a witness and made sure a court went exactly the way they wanted. Something or another, she didn't really pay too much attention to the details. So, the guy she was hunting was a scrawny individual, glasses on his nose, buck teeth and short, spiky hair. Well, she'd start with knocking those teeth from his mouth. Assignment given, beat the guy to shit, though again, murder would draw way too much attention.
The track record, from what she could understand from it, consisted of stalking, sexual harassment on multiple counts. So his profile fitted the deal. But even if this poor guy didn't do it, she still was tasked with beating the daylight out of him. She crumpled the paper up in her hand and threw it to the side, before fishing a set of leather gloves from her duster, pulling them on. Fingerprints and all that. With a soft crack of her knuckles, she moved in after the man when he took a left in an alley. Being tied more or less everywhere to the underworld always had the nice effect of knowing were exactly someone was. Certainly when she paid for the chatter. As an anonymous party. She knew people, but said people didn't know the raven solstice.
The figure Alex saw approached him. A second, more fragile and feminine figure popped up behind mister 'Kaabiwaarii'. A crunch resouned as he slumped through his knees due to a kick in the back from his assailant. Yeong spun on her heels to slam her shin in the back of his head, causing him to slump forward. She looked at Alex, eyes cold. And without as much as a word, she kicked the hands from underneath the man and started to repeatedly kick him in the stomach.

Alex had watched as his target had turned into the alley. What he hadn't expected was some woman to follow him. Was she a client? Maybe his boss? He didn't really know but as long as she did not see his face everything would be fine. Moments before life became stranger than fiction Alex pulled down his balaclava and hunters goggles.
Just as he flicked on the low light vision setting he witnessed the strange woman kick his target in the back and bring him to his knees. Then she proceeded to brutalise him.
Alex was a bit taken aback but his military training kicked in at the last moment. He propelled himself forward in a fotballers charge, clearing the gap between him and the assailant of his target in about three strides. He wasn't using his powers, but as a large and powerfully built man nonetheless he speed was almost supernatural to the human eye.
Within the few second it took him to close in he had to decide whether to use his powers. In the current circumstances he decided not to and instead went for the traditional spear tackle. Diving forward to slam his shoulder into the chest and neck of the raven haired hit woman.

By the time Alex decided to leap into action, the man was already throwing up blood on the floor, weakly begging for her to stop. Loud footsteps thundered across the ground and Yeong looked up to see Alexander charging for her. Hands raised up in defense. Dropping in a slight crouch, ready to brawl her way out. However, as good as a brawler and an enforcer she was, she still couldn't just catch or evade Alex. The man was fast and very heavy.
She exhaled completely and took the blow head on, being knocked back. But she used the momentum to drop backwards, grab Alex' arm and press her foot in his stomach to throw him over her using his own momentum. Her arm and neck would bruise due to the tackle, but she would be able to walk that off. If Alex was indeed thrown over, she'd immediately get to her feet again and pull out a butterfly knife, flicking it out and holding it up in reverse grip. Her other arm raised defensively. Ears flattened against her skull and she slowly started to circle Alex. No need to fall back on her abilities against a normal human. "Waseo jab-a wala," she taunted, spitting on the floor in challenge. The way she moved, it was obvious she was no stranger to brutality and violence. Her steps calculated, deliberate. Yet extremely graceful.

Alex was launched into the air momentarily before catching himself on one hand and throwing himself into a roll. With his momentum changed he bounced back up and turned on his heel to face his opponent, already in his combat stance. He held his hands close to his chest, his muscles coiled like springs and ready to strike.
“Stand down, we have the same target.” he wasn't exactly sure what language she had cursed him in but he repeated the command three times; first in immaculate japanese, then in passable chinese and finally in broken korean. He was fairly certain she wouldn't respond in a friendly fashion, what with her drawn blade, but he didn't exactly want to hurt a woman.
He examined his opponent closely for a brief moment. With the way she fought she definitely wasn't military, mafia or hitwoman most likely. But what startled him most were her ears, and not the normal human ones. She had what looked like cat ears strapped to her head. At first he thought they were props but he noticed they had moved before.
‘Monster?’ He thought to himself. ‘Maybe some sort of mutant?’
“Drop your blade and stop assailing my target. There's no reason to kill each other for this Creep ” Even though he hoped she wouldn't attack, he still stayed ready to fight and kept a nice four meter distance between them.

The broken korean seemed to make the woman flinch. And she relaxed ever so slightly, still staying on guard, however. Knife still brandished. Though now she looked less like a predator smelling blood. And more of a wary soul, ready to spring into combat once more. "You attack me," she said with a soft snort, those feline ears flattening against her skull again. Her eyes slid down half mast, a squint telltale of her aggression and hostility towards Alexander. "Drop my knife. As if," she spat on the ground again. Lowering the knife, yes. But dropping it? Not a chance in hell.
"This man's a rapist," she declared, sending a glance to the writhing and shivering mess of a man. "Hired to break some bones by the victim's mother." She had no idea why he was here for him, but she assumed the same. So it directly led to questions of whom sent Alexander. If it was the mother as well, it would be an issue, since it could be betrayal. And she had to take care of that then. Set an example. "Who sent you?" She asked, her japanese slightly limited, though it was still comprehensible. And better than his korean speech.
