The mansion was furnished with simple, yet refine, tastes in accordance to Superia’s preferences. Throughout her years Superia sometimes visited here as a home away from home; acting as a pseudo operations base for her various works when requiring solitude. Far away from cities or villages this mountain forest mansion remained hidden for decades. Inside one particular room sat beside herself, nobody else was around for miles and those that did find their way into the forest rarely, if ever, came out. Currently she was inside the lounge or living room as it could also be called.
Walls were painted in an off white, tan color coming mostly down until dark colored wood furnished till floor. Brown carpet was softer than what appeared despite not being thick. Concerning twin cloth couches sitting across one another from an oaken coffee table, green with dark wood trimmings; darker than the wood on the walls. There were cabinets with books shelves. This porcelain like doll sat comfortably within her cool room, paying little mind to hard rain and heavy wind outside. A bit loud but bearable. In front of her was a white pot embed with blue flower design sitting atop a plate. Atop another, smaller, plate was a tea cup in same design; steam coming out.

The Regalas family sought truth through refinement. By taking knowledge and materials they could learn more about the world’s nature then more about themselves. It was that research Regalas spent generations working on without revealing their end goal. Nobody knew Superia’s ultimate goal. Not even those like Gage or Seran. However much they thought they knew wasn’t enough. The process by which Superia would achieve this goal undermined commonsense. By both rejecting while embracing logic something new could be achieved. Before her was a book she read, writing personal notes while revoking old theories and hypothesis that no longer mattered or incorrect.
A person’s core, their soul, may be altered through various means. One way was through corruption but also purification. By ripping or adding onto a soul Superia made changes however she wanted to go deeper, but rather than going deeper she wanted to focus more on something else. A person’s dreams were apart of who they were, and dreams were part of the mind. Dreams, in one sense, were half reality and half wish. Though that was just one way of looking at it. People were easy to change when sleeping, thus hypnosis. Minds were really a damn problem.

Sounds mixed within madness while emotional responses counted down. Along several generations secret teachings and techniques passed down furthered Regalas’s arts. Like other spiritual family’s they too practiced selective breeding while keeping themselves hidden from Shinigami and Humans alike; the waking world mustn’t know about their existence. Superia’s book told what dangers lay ahead should she continue with her practices, what dangers transpired generations ago when Regalas tried transmuting certain materials. These pages contained knowledge Superia read many times before but new information may be learned each time. Simply because an entire library stayed inside her brain didn’t mean Superia wouldn’t refresh herself with hardcopy information.
”Out of tea.” Voice dry, almost pouty as ever. Speaking few words like almost always while looking down into her cup after trying for a sip. Superia set aside her book after closing then leaned forwards, pouring herself more tea. Both hands on cup she took a sip, allowing hot tea to help relax her working mind. Days without much rest left Superia tired yet she’d gone without much sleep before. Most nights were filled with studies. Alchemical symbols and how they related to the elemental table, how many electrons and protons were inside specific elements and how spirit energy affected said elements and what materials could be alchemically made that modern science had yet discover. Despite going over basics she always strove for more.

The female hadn’t truly skills in other areas beyond mathematical equations alongside theoretical possibilities concerning alchemy and shamanism. She removed herself from her spot then made way into an underground bunker much like where Ryuken trained Ishida. This standard Quincy training facility was good for training where she wouldn’t be interrupted by others. Superia reflected back on her run ins with others who fought with martial arts: both hand to hand and weapon combat. Neither was what Superia used much. Which this could become a problem later on and she already faced this issue against Gage once. By reflecting back on her own weakness Superia could better herself. What little things like this she could do to better herself involved Internal Alchemy, which was more than refining the Self through symbols. But martial arts and meditation.
Muscles not yet ready for workout required warming up. Superia began by bending her knees and standing back up. Hands were on knees to help with this. She wasn’t very good with things like this though maybe she could just use Alchemy to make it so she could just warm up her body automatically without needing to do any of this. Maybe later on once she earned it.

Superia started off with the idea of doing squat thrusts. They were to build muscular strength and endurance, as well as train people to work at a higher heart rate. It would burn more calories but also increase her post-exercise oxygen consumption which causes her to continue to burn even more calories after she stopped exercising. This wasn't something she worried over, and would mean she needed food that gave more energy but she could also explore into food that did. She stood with her feet shoulder width apart and arms by her sides. She lowered into a squat position and placed hands on the floor. She kicked her legs back into a plank position but fell flat onto. She was supposed to jump step forwards returning to a squat position then going back into standing position.
Superia tried this several times only ending in failure. It was not easy for someone like her. Despite having an understanding in basic martial arts and workout exorcises she wasn't very good with more advanced methods like this. She was coordinated by not good with quick movements. It went against her natural movement process which was slow and stubborn like a bolder. This whole process ws bothersome.

Superia questioned herself How can I get this working right? and did so in annoyance though, like with speaking, her mental tone was dull and far from ordinary. Setting herself back up, after several failed attempts, she got down into the plank position and pushed up before bringing her feet forward into a squat. These reps were annoying, very much so. Some people added dumbbells but she didn't want to do that, not yet anyway if at all. She wasn't looking to build lots of muscle if she could help it. Yep, very annoying to someone like her who preferred moving slowly.
Flexibility if extremely important in fighting, because many techniques cannot be performed without it. Superia needed to build up her flexibility, force her body to become more limber so she could more easily move. Her body was petite so she could use that to her advantage. If she couldn't physically outmatch someone in strength she could do so in movement. Superia sat down with legs crossed, a butterfly sit is what they were called she thought. Bare feet pressed against one another with hands on feet. She then leaned down so her face touched her feet. Doing this felt like she may pull a muscle in her lower back. Muscles strained, pulling as they wanted to relax. They began burning as chemical compounds strained her body that wasn't use to intense positions like this. She was use to sitting in odd positions though not straining, pushing, her body this much.

The Southern Shaolin kung fu systems believed in a series of techniques called steel jacket or iron shirt. In this training they tried making their bodies resistant to spears and swords. By making the muscles hard this could be achieved however Quincy already had a similar method through Blut by hardening blood vessels. However, Superia wanted to get her natural resistance up. Activating Blut Arterie, Superia allowed blood to carry more oxygen and pump faster. Though this could cause breathing issue due to burning more oxygen it also meant her breathing intake was higher. Superia began by striking a metal pole. The first few strikes were done lightly, but slowly began using more force. Her hands hurt, fingers ached. She didn't like pain. She wasn't use to this kind of pain. These exercise were conducted in conjunction with special meditation practices. The idea here was to train the forearms so they could become like steel. Be durable enough to withstand a blow while hitting with the force of a hammer. Superia struck forwards again and again, her hands developing bruises. She stopped, stepping back holding her hands up to her chest and rubbing them. She groaned, her face barely cringing.

Decisive movements. Superia’s fingers were strait as she struck forwards, fingers digging into and through metal. Her fingers bent into a dangerous position and broke. She struck it wrong. Of course, this was the dangerous aspect of doing that. Her mind snapped with widened eyes. Even someone like Superia would have her face contort under such conditions, however, she could begin by healing her body. Superia fell to her knees while holding right forearm tightly. She didn’t mean to strike so hard in the beginning but she could heal herself. Superia analyzed her body to understand where the cracks were.
Superia slowly used her alchemy to help mend her bones but she worried she could damage herself more than what she already did. Upon further inspection she discovered it was only a bit of hairline fracture while two fingers had been dislocated due to how she struck. Superia used her alchemy to force her bones back into their proper place. Earth Alteration used because the Human body was just made up of earth elements anyway. For the fracture, Superia would wrap her hand up in a small cast to keep her fingers straight. She’d bother healing it after a day or two so she could ordeal with the pain.

Standard martial arts would help keep Superia in shape. For too long she put off working out simply because she didn’t like sweating and hard physical labor. She was someone who focus on fixing problems with her mind now raw strength, however, Superia’s research lead into martial artists reaching a state of Zen, a form of internal alchemy if you will, by honing both mind and body. Superia had sat down and allowed herself finish patching up her wrapping. This whole situation left Superia sweaty, muscles burning although she kept herself hydrated plenty at all times. Electrolytes and vitamins were essential but looking further into them could help increase productivity in growing her personal herbs.
At least Superia could continue her training although she would focus more on stretching. She rotated her left and right shoulders, along with moving her feet and bending legs some. She really just wanted to take a breather by this point. There was no point in continuing right now. Even though she was use to headaches this much physical work, at least of this type, was starting to make even her advanced mind hurt. She didn’t like it and didn’t want any part of it.

Flying God Step, also called Hirenkyaku, was the Quincy's version of Shunpo or Flash Step. For a long time Superia had neglected utilizing such a thing to master because she did not like the idea of, once again, moving much. She, by nature, was sluggish and unmoving like stone. The Spirit Particles went to her feet and she made sure the structure was fair enough for her to get a good movement going. She needed to be fast. She wanted to be fast. Superia utilized Flash Step and ended up atop a large pillar in her underground training area. She landed just fine however there were some flaws. She could make the Spirit Particles under her feet thinner and also compress them more. If she were to make them slide more effectively she'd need to retain control while also pushing herself constantly. It was there Superia tried stepping backwards and doing so in a rapid way time and time again. One two four ten. She did not want to stop herself, that was, until she felt a pain in her left foot. It was not cramping because Quincy Flash Step did not push the body like Shunpo but, instead, the Quincy used Reishi to glide or slide.
She kept herself calm while remaining focused. She tried ignoring the pain inside her arm. Blut Vene pushed itself so she could keep her fracture from growing, the blood vessels growing more and more dense. The Reishi structure and lines were compressed over and over, she layered them but rather than adding more and more layers to an already weak, despite being strong already, Blut Vene she wanted to alter the structure some on a molecular level. She needed to ecause by doing this Superia could more effectively help out her Blut. She needed this. Superia then used Quincy Flash Step again and kept Reishi alone her feet allowing her to slide straight down a slope without issue. Before reaching bottom knees bent then pushed her off into a roll. She crash landed onto her shoulder at high speeds feeling as though it might dislocated, however, before impact the Blut Vene was further altered in an attempt to help cushion her blow on the hard metal floor.

Superia's reaction time needed to be increased. Stepping wasn't only about how fast she could move or how many times she could Flash Step. It was about balance and how much she could be dexterous. Her amble moves ended with yet another crash. Blut Vene was looked at while she moved, trying to keep focus split between moving and defense. She needed this challenge to help her thought process. She needed to teach herself, train herself, to think logically while in battle. She could use her mind to her advantage. Despite already doing that Superia wasn't a fighter so she'd use what she knew what she could do to her advantage. An odd amount of pressure went on Superia's body as she continued moving. She went into a back flip but landed only on one foot nearly losing her balance. Forced against a wall hard her Blut Vene kept her from taking much damage although the vibrations still hurt. She could feel out where Blut was weakest. She needed to push it further. She needed to redefine that structural integrity and alter how the Reishi stacked together. Diamonds could shatter easily depending on impact point and how you do that so she could do it similar to a diamond however she'd layer it also differently by adding in two or three extra weaves.
By taking on these extra weaves her Blut started becoming darker in color. She could make out this change under her skin and looked at her arms. If she were to take a strike right now she would not phase her greatly. Superia took a deep breath and started moving around more and more again. She back flipped and landed flat against a vertical wall. She then pushed off again into a flip and rolled landing onto her shoulder. It was not a great landing but her Blut Vene stopped her from taking damage.
