Vanessa awoke with a start. She was laying on some bed, somewhere. Her head throbbed and her chest felt heavy, as if there was some great weight on it. She tried to rub her left eye, to help open it, as it felt as though it had been glued shut. She reached up, and to her horror, he felt that she had no eye at all. Her skin merely extended smoothly over the socket, with a slight depression. Jagged scar tissue extended outwards from its centre, and a single scar ran from her temple down to her cheek. The work of her inner hollow. She felt vulnerable without half of her field of vision, incredibly vulnerable. She reached down and saw that her zanpakuto, a large pair of gauntlets, had been placed by the bed. She looked at her hands. Her fingers were pretty. Her nails had the remnants of the lurid green polish she'd put on them for her last date; the colour didn't look nearly so bad to Nessa, who was partially colour blind. She sighed. From now on, she supposed that her fingers would go back to being broken, bruised and battered. The nails chipped and worn away by constantly wearing heavy metal gauntlets. She cursed her zanpakuto spirit.
Go fuck yourself. She responded. She had gotten more talkative it seemed. And rude, too. But that was only to be expected. Yosei had fused with Vanessa's inner Hollow, to create some bastard monstrosity that now lived inside her. Yosei was already pretty crazy before but now... She just seemed like a bitch. With a heavy heart, she drew the gloves onto her hands and looked around. Where was she? She vaguely remembered waking up in some strange desert-like place. There had been a black haired person before her. Hidane. He was the cause of all of this. If Vanessa could get her hands on him, she would wring his damn neck.
Eggs sizzled in the frying pan as the onyx-haired Visored moved them about with a spatula, the smell of breakfast rising and spreading throughout the open main area of the warehouse. It wasn’t the most luxurious place by far, and sometimes he wondered how the half-destroyed upper floors stayed intact, especially so much that there were more than enough rooms intact for the other Visored to live in, let alone for there to be spare rooms. But he supposed that was probably just another trick of Hachigen’s Kido that kept the place hidden and protected, perhaps. Thoughts for another day, or to ask him himself, the next time the rare occasion of seeing each other here came about. Since their pardon, it seemed the Visored who had founded this place were less wary about going out and living fuller lives, though Hiyori still had the run of the place and the others still came back from time to time.
Coming up from the training area below, Hidane had put Nessa down on a bed in one of the spare rooms in the upper floors, leaving a glass of water next to her for when she woke up. That had been midday the day before, and he’d refreshed the water several times, though there was still no sign of her waking up, though her condition seemed stable. So it was just a matter of time. He’d awoken early this morning and set about breakfast, simple as it was. An omelet with mozzarella cheese and dice ham, buttered toast, and a few orange slices, with a place of such set aside for Nessa should she wake up in time. He’d just finished cooking when he felt her Reiatsu stir upstairs, nothing major but enough to show that she was conscious.
Since falling deeper into the grips of his Hollow, so to speak, he’d become more keenly aware of sensing Reiatsu and the intricacies within it.
Taking up the spare plate he’d just set up… perfect timing, that was… he walked up the stairs to the second floor and to the room he’d left Nessa in, opening the door and leaning against the doorframe.
“Ah, it seems you’ve woken up.” He spoke calmly, as if he’d just realized this upon opening the door. “Care for some breakfast? It would seem you and I have a lot to talk about now.”

Getting her hands on him, it seemed, would be fairly trivial. She sensed the incoming reiatsu. The world was strange... She seemed to sense in high definition compared to before. Despite the constant, uncontrollable leaking of her own reiatsu, she was somehow able to pinpoint him before he came into the room which before, would have been literally completely impossible. The person that opened the door, the source of the reiatsu, had black hair, that same face. The same guy she'd met at the café. The same guy who Blodeuwen had had to subdue when the Court Guard Squads were proven to be inept at their jobs. The same guy that was the reason for her hollowfication now. A bubbling, searing anger boiled up within Vanessa, and she felt the jubilation of Yousei as it sparked an angry rage. She leapt out of bed, and cast Hado 50. He was a threat strong enough that Blodeuwen had not been able to simply kill or apprehend him, though she had still had a Hole to deal with at the time. Nessa could take no chances. She flung the white orb of fire as hard as she could at the Visored, unconcerned with what he had in his hands, merely seeking to eliminate the threat as fast as she could.
"YOU!" She screamed as she threw it. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO ME!?" she said, leaping forwards into the aftermath of her own flames, with the goal of launching a vicious spin kick straight at the visored's face, hatred burning in her eyes. She felt the ecstatic joy of Yousei within at the prospect of violence erupting once more.

The flames remain for 2 posts, cooldown 4 posts.
Though he supposed there would probably be little to no reason for her to respond particularly… positively to his presence or the situation in its entirety, he hadn’t necessarily been expecting a full-frontal attack. He was, however, prepared for it, for as soon as the Kido was launched he held up his left hand and an oval-shaped shield would form near instantly in front of him, nearly encompassing the entire wall of the room; the Kido would crack against the shield and fizzle out, and would leave it with enough strength still to stop the kick before Hidane would let it fade, still holding the plate in his right hand. He wondered just how much she knew about her own situation, and his part… or rather, mostly, lack thereof… in it. There certainly seemed to be a misunderstanding somewhere.
“I didn’t do anything to you,” Hidane began, putting the plate down on a small table in the corner of the room, “unless you count stopping you from completely destroying an outdoor market and the surrounding area in the middle of town in broad daylight. That, I did do.” He took one of two chairs by the table and put it up against the wall, sitting down. “And, I brought you here, where I could keep you in check until you came through this… or, in the case of the Hollow winning out in the end, making sure it would never escape to cause anyone else to suffer.” He clasped his hands together, leaning forward in the chair. “I’m glad to see it is the prior that happened.”
He let out another sigh before coming to explain himself.
“At the café, I approached you because my Kurosenko sensed some faint traces of Hollow Reiatsu on you, even though I could sense absolutely nothing at all… which was strange in its own way. How she could sense that on you is beyond me.” He shook his head. “I suppose I know why now, so I’ve got the answer to my question. But yet, I need to ask you once more…
What are you, Nessa Varjen?”

All of a sudden, her fire spread out onto a shield of hollow reiatsu, and she just about stopped her own kick in time not to get caught on the flames that had attached to the shield. Nessa flared, apoplectic, at Hidane, hiding behind his shield, however he said something that cut through his rage. He didn't do anything? He described how he stopped her from completely wrecking the market. That did make sense somehow... She remembered shopping in the market, and nothing beyond that. She didn't respond as his barrier faded away and he drew up a chair. It made sense that if she became a hollow on the outside, someone would need to stop her. But something didn't make sense to Nessa.
"But wait, how on earth did I become a hollow?" she asked, uncertain. She listened to the rest of his explanation. Yes, that was right! They had met at the Café. Indeed, Nessa had almost forgotten about that. In fact the past couple of months seemed hazy. She had completely forgotten the spiritual world. She assumed that had just been a property of whatever magic that Blodeuwen had worked upon her. He recalled her question. She let out a single short sigh of laughter. What was she indeed? It was a good question. Vanessa sat back down on the bed, rubbing her temple.
"Do you know about... The Holer Crisis?" she asked, her voice ragged and weary. "No, it doesn't matter. The fact of the case remains that I was infected by a hollow who had originally been a member of the Kido Corps. I killed her, but it was too late. I crawled my way back to the Seireitei where the Soshi of the Kido Corps, Blodeuwen Hirashi, who I'm sure you know," she said, a touch of spite in her voice, "sealed me into a gigai, locking away both my Inner Hollow, and my shinigami powers. It apparently made me forget I ever was a shinigami. The question remains, why did that seal break? And how? I don't imagine it was a problem with the seal itself." she shuddered. The Grand Kido Chief was the title given to the shinigami with the strongest Kido in all soul society. It would take nothing short of a miracle to break a seal of that calibre set by Blodeuwen. Vanessa was under no impression that she or her inner hollow could have done that.
“Doesn’t ring a bell, no,” Hidane replied when asked about this ‘Holer Crisis’; not a thing he knew anything about, but certainly sounded like something that would explain some of the increased activity around lately… maybe even why the Kidoshu chief would be sent to the world of the living. He sat calmly and listened as she told the rest of her story; how she’d come to have been infected, and how the Kidoshu Soshi… Blodeuwen Hirashi, huh?... had sealed her in a special gigai. So that was why he couldn’t sense her in Caesar’s café. But Kurosenko could sniff her out even through that…? His new capabilities were quite terrifying, and would be quite useful, if he ever came to master them.
“Ah, yeah, that…” Hidane responded when she mentioned the Kido Soshi, unable to keep the disappointment in himself and regret from his face. “Not my finest moment, that. Hopefully I can apologize for that someday…” …but that would have to wait for another time. More important matters to deal with at hand.
Such as a seal crafted by the Soshi of the Kido Corps breaking, causing Nessa to be freed from the Gigai and thus Hollowfied… resulting in her rampage through the market, chasing that pipsqueak of a Shinigami.
“Ah, that’s right! When I found you, you were tearing a path through the market, chasing after some Shinigami. Surprisingly young, for one assigned to go out into the world of the living.” He paused for a moment. “He didn’t waste any time returning to Soul Society once I had things under control out there. Do you remember anything about him being there? I can only assume he was there when you turned.”
Well, at the very least, it seemed Nessa was done attacking him… for now, at least. But now it was a matter of seeing how she would deal with her new reality. For better or worse, though, the onyx-haired Visored was set to stick around as long as needed; with Shinji and some of the others back in Soul Society, and the others now off doing other things with their lives, someone had to stick around and show newcomers the ropes.

There was no reason Hidane ought to have known about the holes. She wondered if Blodeuwen and the others had ever managed to fix that. If not then they were probably in danger, even then. She cast her mind back to Aoi and Shiori... What had happened to those two? Aoi had stayed outside to fight him. To kill that blonde-haired arrancar. Aoi was strong sure but not that strong. It was likely that the kid had been killed. Yet another sacrificed upon the altar of the Soshi's crusades. And Shiori too. Nessa's old squadmate, from even before the Kido Corps. She realized that she had probably turned over a new leaf when she realized that she felt guilty for how much of a bitch she'd been to Shiori. God knows she didn't deserve it. If Vanessa had been hollowfied, and Kila and Aoi had been killed, there was no way in God's name Shiori had made it out of there alive.
Either way, she raised an eyebrow as Hidane said he hoped to apologize. Yeah right, as if that would ever happen. The guy had literally turned himself into a monster. Nessa was only there at that moment because she wanted answers, and she supposed that she was a bit of a monster too. But Blodeuwen was not the type to let that type of thing slide. And it'd be much harder to convince her than Vanessa that it wasn't him that ended her halcyon little life as a human. She repressed a sneer at herself. Was that really what she would revert to without her powers? Pathetic.
Hidane on the other hand seemed to have recalled what happened. He described a small shinigami an Nessa couldn't hold back a loud "FUCK!" as she recalled exactly what it had been. Moeru. The Soshi's nephew. He was allowed to run rampant due to nepotism and nobility alone, almost certainly. That little shit had thought it was a good idea to kick her out of her gigai. She recalled him smiling as he watched her hollowfy. What a fucking psycho.
"If I ever get my hands on that little shit I'm going to fucking wring his neck until he's three shades of blue and then crucify him on sogyoku hill." she said with vicious rancour, a vein popping out in her temple. She wasn't kidding either. If Vanessa saw Moeru at any point in the near future, she was going to kill him. He was the one that had done this to her, and he would suffer the consequences. She balled her gauntletted fists in anguish. She thought of Yeong... Of Kyuri... Of Alex. Oh Alex. A single tear rolled down the right side of her face. How could she be showing such weakness!? At a time like this?
Disgusting. She heard the voice of Yousei. Whatever. Fuck her, anyway.
"To answer your question... I... I'm a human. I'm a human with a life and a future, trapped in this eternal hell which is called: Visored." She said ominously. She looked at him, her usually piercing alabaster eyes dull and blank.
"What happens now Hidane? What steps do I need to take?" She asked, angrily wiping her tear away with a gauntlet.
So Nessa knew the little runt of a Shinigami. Given what she’d described only a moment ago, and the carelessness Hidane had briefly seen displayed by the pipsqueak, it wasn’t hard to put two and two together and figure out what had happened to break this seal. Not a very strong seal, if a simple trick of a Shinigami to push a soul out of its vessel was enough to break it. But perhaps it was never intended to be strong, only unnoticed. Either way, it didn’t change what had happened, and where they were now. Nessa was a Visored, somewhat like himself, now, and it seemed clear that it might take some time for her to come to terms with that. He would help however he could, though it seemed rather unlikely that she would accept more than initial help from him. He wondered what exactly the Soshi had said of her encounter with him… he had been drunk and otherwise in a state that he didn’t really remember or know what exactly had happened himself, but he could only assume the report hadn’t been good.
“A human, then?” He stated, unintentionally with a tone that suggested he wasn’t sure he believed her conviction in that. “You are whatever you believe you are. Someone I know said that to me recently, and I’ve come to believe in that idea myself. So if you’re human, you’re human.” But that ‘eternal hell called Visored’ part? That he wasn’t going to let stand.
“However… I know it may be hard to believe at first, but our condition isn’t nearly as horrible as the Gotei… or rather, the Soul Society as a whole… writes it off to be.” He suddenly remembered the plate he’d set on the table next to him, and casually picked it back up and handed it to her, in case she was hungry while he went on. “I’m sure they’ve come up with some half-assed explanation that Shinji and the others that returned are exceptions or something, but that doesn’t matter. The fact of the matter is, most of us aren’t monsters.”Is that so?“If handled right, your Hollow will be but a voice in the back of your head, a light influence on your thoughts that can be shaken off.”I see, how interesting.“I’d like to say it’ll be easy, but there will almost certainly be difficult times. If anything happens to lessen your resolve, in your own life… or in your pursuits… the Hollow will take advantage of that.”Damn right.“I don’t remember the details of what happened with the Soshi, but… that was a particularly low point for me, and it has served to bring me back to where I need to be to keep it under control.”Tch. Under control.
“Being a Visored doesn’t change who you are, Nessa. Life from now on will be different, but it isn’t the end.”
Hell yeah it’ll be ‘different’.
Would you shut the fuck up?
“To start, I would recommend sticking around here for a bit; get you acquainted with the power that comes with this and how to control it. On top of that, everyone seems to adjust to this… change… at a different pace. Some take to it naturally, sometimes it takes days, weeks even, to adjust both mentally and physically to the change.” He stopped for a moment, letting it sink in. “That said, I’m not about to keep you here against your will. You’re free to do as you please. I am simply here to try to help, and will do so in any way I can.”
Quite the gentle monster, aren’t you?
Didn’t I tell you to can it?
Hidane watched Nessa closely, unsure if she would lash out again with all of this information. She seemed the type that might not take well to it, to put it lightly. But where they went from here was up to her. He was simply here to try to inform and help her, not to force her to do things his way. The more he could show her that Hollowfication didn’t mean putting an end to all that is good in a person, the better. He didn’t expect her to take to it right away, but every step in the right direction would help.

Of course a person like Hidane, a person who had seemingly given so much of himself to the darkness within would say it wasn't so bad. Though she appreciated that he did not try and tell her she could not be human. The pain of that revelation was too fresh, too sore. Like an open wound, it festered and burned, and each second was a fresh wave of hell. She had lost two lives, the life of a shinigami, and the life of a human. She had lost friends twice. Lost... Lost love twice. It seemed that no matter how hard Nessa tried, everything was stripped away from her. First she had lost her dream of becoming a member of the stealth force. Then she had been banned from taking the representative position within the second division. Then she had become infected, and had to leave her life, her world and everything she knew behind. And when finally she had found some peace, had become a better person, found her gentleness...
Your gentleness? Get a grip. You have power now, stop your whinging. The voice of Yousei told her in her mind. She nearly growled. She wanted to rip out her sword's spirit. No. She wanted to rip out that monster that dwelled within it. Instead she listened to Hidane blithely, gormlessly eating the food he had prepared. The flavour brought her back to the moment as he spoke, and she focused on him with her remaining eye.
"I heard nothing about Captain Hirako, Captain Muguruma, or Captain Otoribashi." she spoke about them still in the stiff formal tone. Vanessa's allegiance still lay firmly with the shinigami and with soul society. "Hidane, my Zanpakuto spirit... Yousei... It's taken my Zanpakuto spirit." she said, her eyes haunted. "I thought... I thought I would do anything for power. I thought no barrier would stand between myself and greater strength, but to live out the rest of my life with a monster breathing down the back of my neck. Is that really a life at all?" she sighed, finishing her food. Her black mood worsened. She sank deeper into a kind of bleak depression. She rubbed her ruined left eyesocket.
"Thank you for breakfast." she said, uncharacteristically demurely. "I don't... I don't think I'll stay. I think I'll go. But... Is it going to take over again? I guess I probably have a- a mask now right? If I wear it I'll still be me, won't I?" she asked, looking down sadly. She put the plate down. Vanessa had no posessions, her gigai had been destroyed when she exited it. Only the clothes on her back, and her zanpakuto. She got to her feet, her face hard-set and determined.
“It’s taken your Zanpakuto spirit already?” More than anything, that surprised him. In his case, and as far as he knew in all the other cases he’d ever known of, the Zanpakuto spirit and Hollow stayed separate. His Zanpakuto and Hollow had only fused once the Hollow had forced his Ressureccion form upon him. Nessa’s comment that hers had already fused caught him off guard; perhaps the time frame for things for a Visored varied even more than he thought. He wondered what, if anything, that would mean for her control. Would it be easier for her? Harder? He hoped for her sake it would be easier.
He heard her out and, once she was done, he responded.
“I wish I could say that the Hollow won’t take over again… but, unfortunately, I can’t guarantee that.” He leaned forward in his seat, his hands clutched in front of him. “You know, I was a lot like you, when I was first… overtaken. Hidane Asuka Koga, Fifth Seat of the Kyubantai. At the time, the only thing I thought about was getting stronger. Without any particularly close friends, and no family to speak of, it was all I could hang on to. Get stronger, rise in the ranks, rinse, repeat. Everything I did was for that; I thought if I just continued to get stronger I would find some ‘higher purpose’ in life.
I was on a week-long assignment here in Karakura Town when I ran into another Visored for the first time. Funny, with how much time I’d spent researching just about everything there was to look into in the Gotei’s records, somehow Hollowfication was one of few things to escape me. She explained the power to me… probably more as a warning, looking back on it… and I just saw it as another method for power. Not even knowing the consequences, I… pursued it, the idiot I was. The idiot I am. And, shortly after, I thought I had it under control.
Then, everything went to shit again. I made friends, both here and those still with the Gotei. One by one, they all either died in front of me in freak accidents and coincidences, or they just disappeared entirely. I was at that low point when the Hollow overtook me again. At the time, I was… in no state to fight back. I was weak, and it took advantage of that. That’s…” He paused for a moment, looking at his left arm, completely bandaged. He took an edge of the bandage at his shoulder and unraveled it a bit, showing the top edge of the pitch black skin of his left arm. “That’s how I became how I am now. That was twenty years ago, roughly, now. That set me down a long, dark road, most of which I spent drunk. The kind of drunk you only get when you want to forget everything, and two-hundred years is a lot to forget. That’s when Blodeuwen… your Kidoshu Soshi… found me. And… him, the one that caused me to use that power, to lose control again.”
He rewrapped the bandage on his arm, and looked Nessa in the eyes, if she was even still listening. The mere mention that he’d actually become a Visored… on purpose… he had a feeling would draw suspicion if not outright doubt or outrage from her. Rightly so, as he was a fool back then.
“After that day, I did not stop until I gained full control of those powers and, hopefully, of the Hollow once more. Never… NEVER fall to doubt, or despair, or the Hollow WILL take advantage of it.” He stood, taking a few steps towards the door. “You can judge me if you want, but through it all, in the end, I’m still me. I’m still the man that was the Fifth Seat of the Kyubantai; my first priority is protecting those who need it, only now it includes those the Gotei wouldn’t dare protect for fear of tarnishing their ‘pride’. I guess, indirectly, becoming… like this… actually did lead me to finding some other purpose in life, than simply becoming stronger.”
He opened the door to the main portion of the warehouse again, ready to step out.
“Sorry for giving you my life’s story there, but I’ve actually never gotten any of that off my chest before. If you want to leave, you can. I won’t stop you. This place will always be open to you, as it is to all of… our kind. It is one of few safe havens you will find. There is a training area below, safe from detection from the outside, as is this place in general.” Suddenly he looked back, as if suddenly recalling something. “Actually… wait a second.” He walked quickly to his room, rummaging around in his nightstand for a few moments before coming back. “Here.” He casually tossed his old eyepatch towards her, so she could either catch it or let it fall onto the bed next to her. He pointed at the scar over his right, plain-white eye. “For a while after this happened to me, I was really insecure about it. I can only imagine not…” He stopped himself, figuring maybe mentioning the integral body part she’d just lost might not be the best idea. “Anyway, it’s there if you want it.” He leaned against the wall next to the door, waiting to see what she would do.

She nodded in response to his first question. Little did either of them know, that things worked a little differently for Nessa than they did for Hidane. Hidane's hollow spirit had taken over his zanpakuto spirit. He was... Some kind of abomination, not really a shinigami any more, but not a fully fledged hollow either. He called his "fused-spirit" by the name of his inner hollow. Nessa, on the other hand... Well, her hollow had simply made her already difficult zanpakuto spirit into a bitch. That was because of the somewhat unique way Nessa had defeated her inner hollow. It had illuminated something to her; holes in her own abilities. Stripped of its ability to perform kido, her inner hollow had been helpless as she had literally ripped its body apart, turning it to dust and destroying it with the fearsome power of her Demon Arts. It had fused with her zanpakuto as it had literally no other way to survive.
She listened to his story with a mixture of fascination and disgust. As much as it told her about Hidane, it told her even more about herself. No matter power hungry she thought she was, or had been at least, Hidane had been even more so. While he seemed to repent now, she got the distinct feeling that the guy wouldn't change much, even given the opportunity. She tried to imagine how desperate for strength she would have to be to take that road willingly. No wonder he'd spent twenty years as a fucking alcoholic. She visibly recoiled at the sight of his black, hollow skin.
She wasn't sure if he was trying to reassure himself or her when he told her that he was the same guy. What you did, and what you saw... It always changed you. This was no exception. But maybe that was his answer to her question, albeit in a kind of roundabout way. One thing she felt confident in was that she would be fine to use her powers, as now... She knew she would never be tempted by the fate that Hidane chose for himself. She had mixed feelings right now. This guy... He truly was an abhorrent creature. But he still had reason, and he appeared to use it to do good things. Was that enough to make him a good person? She knew that no matter what happened in the future, he would never, ever be accepted back in soul society.
But would she? That was the question. She followed him out into the warehouse, and began to walk down the stairs, towards the exit. The only other Visored she felt she could talk to, Hachigen Ushoda, wasn't around. He ran off to go and retrieve something, and she waited patiently. He returned, and presumably tossed the thing at her instead of venturing back into that other room. Ahh yes. An eyepatch. She put it on. She examined her reflection in the sheen of her glove. It'd definitely do for now. Maybe a change of colour or something later.
"Thanks... Hidane. I'm going to go. I... I think first I need to do some soul searching. I'm determined to show the Court Guard Squads and their blasted government that this isn't my fault. I don't think you're a monster, Hidane. But I vow here and now to never stray down the path you're at the end of. That's not the road for me, the path you have taken is a monstrous one. Having said that, I'll pray to whatever damn god Blodeuwen believes in that we never find ourselves at the end of each others' sword." she said, and that was a promise.
With scarce another word, she stepped cautiously out of the warehouse, and into a brave new world.
Well, that went… better than Hidane had been expected. He didn’t know much about Nessa Varjen, but if nothing else she seemed the type where saying that she might not take well to his story would be a massive understatement. However, she seemed to stay calm while he spoke, and he couldn’t have expressed how much he appreciated it. He had never truly never told anybody of his folly of seeking Hollowfication intentionally, even if it was without knowing of the consequences of it. It gave him some reassurance that, at the very least, she didn’t consider him an enemy for it. Not right away, at least. She was in quite a situation herself, and surely time could bring her to see things his way… or more strongly against them. Either way, it seemed she would walk her own path, one that didn’t seem entirely against his own, and that was all that mattered.
“Thank you, Nessa. I truly do pray the same, as with the rest of Soul Society.” He stepped away from the wall, stretching. “All I seek is peace. Perhaps to a naïve extent, and I realize it is likely I’ll never see my vision for the world realized, but holding on to that is what keeps me going. I’ll never let myself lose that again.” He nodded as she turned to leave. “Safe travels, Nessa Varjen.”
Once she was gone, he turned and returned to his room. Kurosenko and his extra Asauchi he’d picked up from some Shinigami quite some time ago rested against the corner of his room; he picked them up and settled them in their spots in his sash, before grabbing his black cloak from the table. Soon it would be getting late, and he had business in the nearby city.
If it was truly a monstrous path he walked, he figured he would need a new hole to hide out in soon enough. He stepped out of the warehouse himself several minutes after Nessa had left, and a loud crack signified his disappearance as his Sonido carried him away.
