t was never a pleasant experience, having to call someone in for a disciplinary. It was an even less pleasant experience when that person was your relative. Suki was always good natured any time Blodeuwen had had to discipline Gujo or Moeru. Senta, on the other hand, Moeru and Gujo's older brother, had been in the 13 court guard squads when Blodeuwen had joined the Hirashi household. But since Moeru had joined the Kido Corps recently, it had made things more complicated. And yet now, Blodeuwen had heard... Disturbing rumours. Rumours that would cause enormous trouble if they were true. She would have to ascertain what exactly had happened from Moeru for starters, before things got any worse than they already were.
She had told Nishikawa-san to just show Moeru in when the time came. It was crucial that she handled this properly. If Moeru had been the cause of this trouble then she would need to convene with Suki and Kitado, and most likely also Senta before they went to talk to the other elders of the family. She could not allow their actions to bring shame to the Hirashi family. They had a reputation to uphold, which was important as the well-being of any of them as individuals. Any excuse those nobles in the courts had to cause trouble they would use, especially if any of them were a part of the Central government. The Feng family or any of the other families under the Shihoin noble house never had these issues and Blodeuwen was determined that the Hirashi family would not have problems.
And so she sat and waited for Junta Nishikawa to show her nephew into her office, where she waited with an unusually tidy desk, and a stern face.

The office was small as he waited outside it, he knew that the repercusions of what had happened with Nessa would come back to him, that’s why he had planned for it as best he could. He had wanted to tell his aunt himself but that would be difficult now that someone else had told her. What they had told her he didn’t know, But if it was about Nessa, he would be in trouble regardless, and if it was not… then he would only be incriminating himself. He contemplated what to do as the assistant looked him up and down. He kept the facial cover of the Kidoshi secure in place to hide his emotions. He kept his hands in his sleeves contemplating what he could do in this situation.
“It would be best if you simply told her the truth of the matter. She is not a pawn you can move into place when the time is needed. All you will be doing is causing yourself more problems.” A soft but dominant voice worked its way through Moerus mind, talking to him with ease. Tengen had always given Moeru good advice.
“If you think it appropriate, I shall not hide anything from her.” As he and Tengen had their back and forth, the assistant showed him in. immediately he noticed the desk and how clean it was. Bowing deeply he approached her desk sitting on the small pillow infront of it reserved for those who were sitting for an extended time. He sat on his knees as he had done any time he was in over his head. He bowed his head respectfully. “As always, I have the honor of being your Obedient Servent, Lady Blodeuwen-Sama. How may I be of assistance?”

e walked in, his little face serious. He reminded her of Aoi in some ways, that same boyishness. Not that she even knew where Aoi was these days. Her hands were neatly folded before her, and she watched him walk in and sit himself down on the cushion on the chair before her desk. He kneeled down on the chair, as smaller visitors often did. He greeted her, and she shut her eyes, sighing, before reaching up to massage her forehead. Why did things need to be so difficult?
"Moeru." she planned to cut right to the chase. "I hope you are well. I would like to talk to you about an event that occured at eleven fifty-three local time in Karakura Town, a suburb in Western Japan, exactly four days ago. I would like to know what you were doing in the Human World, as Matsura-san tells me that he had no authorization order for you to pass through the Senkaimon. Secondly I would like for you to relay to me, in your own words, the exact events that occurred on that day, and who was involved." She said, sternly, her pretty white fingers once again laced together upon her desk. What he said would seriously impact his future. It would impact Blod's future too and that of their entire family. For Moeru's own sake, his report had better not contradict what Blodeuwen had heard.

Moeru sat there, listening to her speak. Even when she was done he still sat there, thinking over how to explain what had happened. He would need to make sure what he said was precise and factual, A mistake would be a simple sentence, A lie… would dishonor him and the clan. He sat up and slowly removed the facial covering the Kidoushi members wore. The Spiritual fabric wrapped around his arm to keep it clean. He paused for a moment collected his thoughts once more.
“I cannot speak for the rumors you may have heard, Aunt Blod… But before I begin, You know I would never do anything to intentionally harm the name and legacy of the Hirashi clan, or of the Kidoushi. I live and serve for the Glory of the Hirashi, as I always have. Regarding the events of that day, Ill begin by explaining why I was there.” He paused for a moment. “A few weeks ago I began hearing reports of hollow activity near the graveyards of the town. At first I was content to let the Shinigami of the Gotei handle it… But then I heard the reports of what was being done to the graves. They were being desicrated, and the hollow responsible seemed to be feeding of the negative emotions the humans felt. The Shinigami were not making any progress so I stepped in. I understand the breach of protocol in my actions maam…but i… you know my feeling of graveyards.”
He stopped for a moment to let her absorb the information. “After finding and purifying the hollow, I was confronted with a familier face. Nessa. When I contronted her she displayed no ability to see spiritual beings. She was… odd. No matter what I did she did not respond and so thinking rationally. I pushed her spirit out of her body, fearing that she may have been injured or under enemy control.” He said softly, making sure she could see his face the whole time. “If I had known she was in the process of hollowfication….I would never have done such a thing maam.” He spoke softly and with notable regret in his voice. “Please, If I am to be punished I will accept it with all due ability, But I ask that it be kept private…for the sake of Nessa.” He did not mention how he did not want to shame the Hirashi name with his punishment.

soft hiss. So it was true. He had found her. Blod had sat in silence while Moeru spoke, biting her lips disapprovingly when he spoke of going to the human world and neglecting to comment now. She continued to listen, stoic, stony, allowing him to pause to catch his breath. The hiss came when he said her name. So he had ejected her spirit from her body, and she had begun to hollowfy. Blodeuwen cursed. How could this have happened!? She had spent months creating that spell only for it to go wrong now. Why did this have to haunt her, always coming back to call in some new debt. She glanced briefly at a little glass orb that sat on a cushion amidst all the other stuff on her shelves. It twinkled faintly, and she felt like it was mocking her. More trouble than it had been worth to acquire that thing, it seemed since this whole Holer Crisis was still affecting her life. The mistake she'd made of course had been a simple one; she had assumed that Human Nessa would live her whole life out peacefully without any meddlesome spirits. She wanted to strangle Moeru at that point for ruining all of her carefully laid plans.
"For the sake of Vanessa? Do you have any idea what you've done to her? No- that's not important now. What happened next Moeru, it's imperative I know everything. You pushed her out of her body and she continued to hollowfy? What happened to the hollow? Did you purify it?" she asked. Blodeuwen's spell ought to have done more than merely contain Vanessa and seal her in the gigai. It ought to have totally stabilized her soul, to stop her undergoing total hollowfication or soul suicide. Perhaps... It all depended on what Moeru had done. The greatest mercy would have been for him to purify the hollow; in that case, the spell would be broken and Blodeuwen ought to have been able to track her down in the Rukongai. She had ample spiritual power; she could re-enter the academy as a way into the Seireitei. Blodeuwen recalled the horrible letter she had had to write to Vanessa's parents. The less said about that the better. She was desperate to know the rest of the story, he had simply left her hanging on a thread.

The young man thought over the events. “When I had \... removed her from the gigai, she seemed fine, for a moment. Before she became scared and after a moment she began hollowfying. I remembered your words on what to do in that situations. I immediately went to Shikai to try to bind her movements. But she broke out of it with relative ease… She wasn’t that strong last time I saw her Aunt…Blod-Sama. I have never encountered an enemy like that before. Even with my enhanced speed, she easily kept up with me.” He paused. “I saw two things first hand that day however, I saw…what I assume was hollowfication of a Shinigami soul.” He looked at her. “And I saw someone who… seemed to have complete the process. His energy felt… hollow, yet Shinigami.”
He smiles softly, unable to hide his love of the new knowledge. He began to describe the man, and how he easily stopped the Cero that pierced the heavens. He left out how inspiring the Cero had been. “Blod-Sama, if I have failed in someway, or forgotten a notice regarding Nessa I am truly sorry, Forgive me for my inability and inexperience.” He bowed softly towards her.

hock and horror were evident on Blodeuwen's face. He talked of how he had been overpowered by the hollowfied Nessa. It wasn't too much of a surprise, after all. Nessa had been far more powerful than Moeru and hollowfied shinigami grew more powerful still. What was truly the worst part, however, was the smile on his face. What on earth did he have to smile about!? It angered her that he could smile after performing such shameful actions. He had destroyed the life of a shinigami who had been given a unique second chance. She had no doubt that Moeru was some kind of sociopath. She vowed that she would keep a close eye on him from here on out, never trusting him more than was absolutely necessary.
He then began to describe the man. Blodeuwen nearly stood up, and she had to hold her tongue from cursing. There was only possible candidate for who that could be. Hidane Asuka Koga. So he wasn't satisfied with turning into a monster and betraying Soul Society... He was doing the same to others now too? The fact that Moeru had just let them be, the fact that he had caused this, and had come back empty handed. This situation could scarcely get any worse.
"You bring shame to our family, to the Kido Corps, and to Soul Society. Your foolish, selfish actions have doomed a shinigami, and have allowed her to slip into the hands of our enemies. Go and resume your duties, and under no circumstances are you to venture into the human world on pain of exile. Get out of my sight this instance." This was terrible. She would have to think and act quickly if there was any chance of turning this around.

Moeru lost his smile for a moment, and stood. Bowing respectfully, he back away to the entrance of the room. “As you command Blod-Sama.” He stop and stood up placing his heels together as he lifted a hand and gently placed it over his heart and with a practiced smile. “Glory to Soul-Kind.” He clicked his heels and then left leaving the room. As he walked from the room he walked past the assistant and smiled at her before leaving the office. He diverted from his normal path and left to the garden.
“You are playing with fire Moeru, Now we are isolated to the Spirit world. How are we to learn more?”
“Tengen you worry to much. While we cannot go to the human world… She never said anything about the waste lands outside of the Rukongai.” He smiled and placed his face covering back on and exited the building finding himself in the garden. He blinked for a moment as he saw his uncle. “Uncle?”
The man turned and gave Moeru a smile. “Oh! Hey there Moeru-kun. It's a surprise to see you here! Actually I guess it kind of isn't. How are you doing, are you being good for auntie Blod?"
“Oh yes uncle, as always.” He smiled softly. “However…. Right now we are at odds. I made a mistake, not knowing that the person who it affected was being affected at all.” He said joining his uncle on the stone bench and speaking at length for a few hours.
