Returning to the Fold
It was once said that those who have mastered the Art of Kido are to be formidable opponents. There were not many who could surpass the prowess of those within the corps, and any still there were a great exceptional few. Those great exceptional few all held important titles at one point or another, and there was no exception as each of the Kido Chiefs have been extremely talented in their art respectively. Kiyu, who was also known as the Bakudo Artist, used to be in that small category, at least he felt deserving of it. He was a man of charisma, sheer will, and focus. When there was a hollow that attacked the nearby districts in Rukongai, Kiyu would be among the first to respond. Some would say that whenever the bogey man would attack, Kiyu would be the one to kill it.
The way that he fell was tragic, but at the same time, considered a service. While many are still oblivious to what had happened to him, Kiyu would rather move passed it, and reclaim his former glory. At this point, he was on his way to seek a council with the Current Soshi, whom he had resigned to pass on the mantel to run the organization. Kiyu had promised Blodeuwen Hirashi that once he had regained a portion of his strength back, that he would be happy to meet with her again. Until then, he refused any positions within the corps in order to focus on his training. It was extraneous and very excruciating, however, Kiyu was slowly regaining his foot, learning Kido spells into level 80's.
It was time for him to contribute again, to be apart of this well oiled machine. He had sent a request almost a week ago, requesting for this meeting to continue their conversation that they had left behind a great time ago. Kiyu walked into the main hall, Zanpakuto upon his left side, long blonde locks of hair draped all around his head, with groups extending to his upper back. His hair had definitely grown since he resigned, maybe it was just all the time passing without him realizing it.
I hope this all goes well... Kiyu thought to himself, slowly approaching the Soshi's office, a place he was already familiar with, unless of course, Hirashi-soshi didn't change things while he was concentrating on his development.
