The Shimizu Den was a fairly popular bar in central Karakura Town, not far from a certain bakery owned by a certain unique character, that drew in crowds regularly for their drinks and their nightly live entertainment and events. The opened, a bell ringing, and the black-haired Visored walked in. It was just like any other night, but it had been weeks since he’d been here. The last time he’d walked through that door was a day he’d rather forget, the day he apparently drunkenly picked a fight with the head of the Kido Corps and tried to level half the town just to kill Seran. Luckily, he’d failed at the latter of the two activities of that day. He let out a sigh of relief that it seemed things here hadn’t changed.
“Hidane-san!” A blue-haired girl shouted from behind the bar, quickly finishing pouring another customer’s drink and running over. “What the hell, it’s been ages! You could’ve at least stopped by and told me you were alright!” She stopped for a moment, remembering the state he’d been in the last time he’d been her. The last many times, to be fair. “Are you alright?”
“I’m fine,” he replied, waving casually, “better than I’ve been in a long time, really. It’s good to see you again.” He sat at the bar, giving a sidelong glance at a drink down the counter. He stared a little longer than he should’ve.
“You want a drink? Or are you laying off for a while?” The bartender appeared to be a young girl, probably college age, but in reality she was a fellow rogue Shinigami who had fled the Gotei to live a simpler life. Kashimizu Kimiko was her name. She kept her Zanpakuto behind the counter in the case she needed to defend herself, but so far her cover had held solid and, as far as Hidane knew, she hasn’t used it once since leaving the Gotei.
“I’ll take one,” Hidane said graciously, “just don’t make it too strong. I’m done with drinking myself numb, at the very least.” He offered her a friendly smile, and she smiled back. They had been on good terms for quite some time; he’d been a regular here long before things went to shit in his life, and had picked up pretty quickly on her secret identity. They became fast friends when they realized they had something in common, and found solace in each other’s’ company when he would visit the bar. Kimiko walked down the bar to get his drink ready, leaving Hidane to his thoughts.
That was when he noticed the other Reiatsu signature in the room.

The bar smelled kinda bland. Vic was used to the bars and dives back home with old men, country music, and smoke. He shrugged as he let the door close behind him as he worked his way to the bar. As he danced his way through the crowd he caught a whisper of reiatsu from somewhere further down the bar.
Victor rested an elbow against the bar and peeked over at the dark haired man who'd been talking to the bartender. Vic couldn't tell what he was exactly but he decided it best if he kept himself cautious. Despite his own advice he slid further down the bar, and next to the strangely dressed man.
“Can I have a Screwdriver? Real orange juice if you'd be so kind. And thank you in advance.” He smiled at the blue haired bartender, who he could now sense vaguely as well. He kept himself cool and composed as he turned to the stranger. “Names Vic.” He tried to suppress his power as much as he could, but he'd never been too great at that. He reminded himself he should work on that, and several other things if he were to avoid the society.
He had felt the Reiatsu approaching from outside, but when the door opened and the man with fluffy hair tinged with green walked in, it became all the more apparent that he was a Shinigami by the Reiatsu. That could spell trouble; less so for him, from what he could sense, but more so for Himiko. However, given that he was there, he supposed Himiko wouldn’t have anything to worry about either. He would just need to be careful. The Shinigami sat further down the bar, but then soon closed the distance and ended up next to Hidane. Himiko was still at the far end of the bar, getting drinks for some other customers while she was over there. Maybe for the better, at the moment.
“Hidane. A pleasure.” The owner passed by and gave the two glasses of water to start, accompanied by a dirty look at the onyx-haired Visored. Probably because of his behavior the last few times he’d been here, drunk nearly to the point of passing out at the bar almost the entire time. Hidane grabbed his glass and took a sip. “You come here often? It’s a nice place, once you get to know the locals.”
Sorry for short post, just didn't have that much to put out for it.
On another note, I actually did get drunk enough to pass out at the bar a few weeks ago. Luckily I was with friends, at a chill place, so I woke up like two hours later on a couch across the room from the bar. xD
Mae just arrived from a vacation at a tropical country in which she have spent her time with her brother. "It's nice to be back home!" She screamed. She's carrying her bags to bring it back to her apartment when Lotis suddenly interrupts her with garbage talks about Kurakura Town. "I thought that we're already done with these dangerous supernatural things of yours and now we're here again, ugh I hate this place!" Lotis protests to Mae. "Don't worry Lotis, I think there's no danger around here, I think we'll be ok" Mae said. Then they continued to walk around the town. "Hmm it seems like nothing have changed at all." Mae said to Lotis. "What do you expect?" said Lotis. Mae looked at Lotis with disappointment on her face.
The two continued to walk until they run up to something unusual. "I think I sensed something." Mae shockingly said it to Lotis. "Yeah great! Another danger coming up ahead." A rather sarcastic way of saying danger when it comes to Lotis. "I think it's coming from that place." Mae points to Lotis the Shimizu den. The reiryoku that she had sensed before suddenly dispels. "That's strange. I thought I have sensed someone." Mae protests to Lotis. "It's probably a misreading, let's just go home already." Lotis eagerly pulls Mae to her direction. A strange being suddenly appears in front of Mae. "Graaahh." The being screams. "It's a hallow Mae!" Lotis screams. "I know but-" Mae didn't get a chance to continue her words as she saw the hallow leaped into the air seemingly lunging towards her. Mae then screams but she managed to gain her consciousness back quickly. "Mori no Tate, I commence!" A shield forms from her incantation. The hallow get knocked back by the shield but it only created a distance between them as the thing readies itself for another attack. "This is really bad!" Mae worriedly said to herself.
{Tech Used}Name:Mori no Tate Class:Human Powers Tier:III Type:Defensive Range:5m
Description:Mae now knows the truth behind her powers, defensively she can force an event to eventually stop or make it like it didn't happen at all.The shield can also be increased in size while it can also be bent a bit to look like a one fourth of a bracelet plus making the shield sturdier than before. The shield could be performed by the following Nymphs, Echo and Daphne with the incantation "Mori no Tate" followed by "I commence."

“Not really.” He shrugged comically, with his hands in the air. “I'm not from around town man.” He'd only decided to come into this bar at random really. He swirled his drink gently and took a sip. It was a bit weak but what did he expect from a bar.
“I'm actually looking for some….” He scratched his chin lightly trying to think of what to say. “Somewhere certain people can't find me.” He gave a casual smile before some sort of commotion outside drew his attention. His face darkened slightly when he sensed what was outside.
“There's trouble outside… And I know you're trying to hide it but it's our kind of trouble.” He stood up from his seat and downed his drink before casually sauntering towards the door. “You coming?”
Opening the door Vic spots a pink haired girl embroiled in combat with with a hollow on the open streets. Victor quickly jumps out of his gigai and draws his Zanpakutou “Hey be careful!” leaping forward he bashes the hilt of his Zanpakutou into the Hollow in a backhanded manner, knocking it farther away from the girl.
Placing himself between the girl and the beast he looks back at her and gives a coy smile. “You ok?”
With focused eyes the onyx-haired man watched and listened as this newcomer said what he had to say. So he was from out of town… well, that was obvious enough. He wasn’t aware of too many Shinigami living in the area, and usually he became aware of newcomers pretty quickly when they came to be in that situation. But the thing that struck Hidane, and got him curious, was when he mentioned that he was looking for somewhere that a ‘certain people’ couldn’t find him… was he talking about the Gotei? Perhaps he was another runaway? Why, though? The answer to that question was extremely important, especially if Hidane was to go forward with telling him of exactly that kind of place…
…the question would have to wait, however, as there was a commotion outside that only he, the newcomer, and the girl behind the bar would notice. The newcomer was quick to get up and mention it, and Hidane grinned at his eagerness, nodding as a gesture that he’d be right behind them. He saw Kimiko seeming to reach for her Zanpakuto under the bar, but he moved his hand to stop her.
“You’re on the clock,” he said, popping his Soul Pill in between his teeth, his spiritual body separating from his Gigai, “and so am I.” He walked towards the door, and threw it open just as Vic threw the Hollow back further from the girl… the living girl… it had seemed to have been attacking. Vic was tending to the girl, but the Hollow was wasting no time in trying to get back up…
…when a blade black as midnight would pierce it just above the center of the throat.
“Attacking young girls in the street at random, are we?” Hidane said, his tone only slightly condescending despite the words spoken. He gave a twist with Kurosenko’s blade, and blood spurted forth to his right, missing his body entirely by some miracle of luck, as the Hollow slowly slumped and stopped moving, lifeless. Only moments later would black smoke begin to rise as it faded into the air. He turned to Vic and the girl. “Sorry about the show, I’m not much for wasting time when they’re violent like that.” He offered a friendly smile.

Victor watched as the young girl fainted, he didn't know if this was something did a lot but it both mildly annoyed and concerned him. He managed to catch her as she fell and hold her up in his arms. She wasn't really heavy so it didn't bother him.
Luckily the locals hadn't taken much notice yet, so he decided to carry her off to a nearby alley and lean her against a wall. Assuming that the Dark haired stranger would follow he gave the girl a cursory check for any wounds. He didn't see any wounds in the preliminary check, so he assumed she merely fainted from shock.
“Names Victor by the way.” He didn't look away from the girl as he continued his casual examination. “And I'm assuming you're on the lamb like I am.” He was glad the girl wasn't hurt but he was ,idly perturbed by the fact that she wouldn't wake up. He made a mental not to call the police to pick her up if she didn't wake up soon.
“Mind if I ask your name stranger? I'd like to know the man who can kill with such efficiency” He thought to himself that someone strong like this might be worthwhile making an ally.
In the face of such an overwhelming force that was Hidane eliminating the Hollow with such ease, it was somewhat impressive to the Visored that this Shinigami didn’t even flinch, almost instantly moving the girl to an alley before anyone would take any serious notice, though he wondered if what few might notice would care enough to report a seemingly unconscious girl floating into a nearby alley. The thought drew a light chuckle, out of earshot of the Shinigami. Hidane put his fingers to his mouth and whistled, loud, and within moments his Gigai, piloted in a sense by his artificial soul, came bounding out. The thing glanced over the scene, noting the girl in the alley just as she rounded the corner, and called out a name that would fit the girl a bit less than Hidane was pleased with.
Together they went into the alley. His physical body would be carrying her out, wherever they went from here, to avoid any further suspicion of anything strange. Didn’t need to cause a panic, after all.
“Hidane Asuka Koga, at your service,” the onyx-haired Visored replied, glancing the Shinigami over once more with his crimson left eye and his blank white right, the scar over the right eye glistening in the light that crept into the alley, “though I’d wager I’m quite a while further up shit’s creek than whatever your situation may be.” He crouched down near the girl; unfortunately, he no longer had any healing powers, so even if he could figure out anything wrong with her, there was nothing he would be able to do about it. At a quick glance, it seemed like there were no physical wounds; she probably just passed out from the shock of the situation.
Perhaps she’d only recently become spiritually aware?
“We should probably move her somewhere a bit safer. Himiko probably wouldn’t mind if we use the apartment above the bar over there; they usually keep the outside door unlocked when they’re on the clock, since they check on it frequently.” He nodded towards his artificial soul who, when Victor would finish his own examination for wounds, would pick up the girl and run her back across the street and up a set of stairs on the side of the building the bar was in. “Shall we?”

Victor listen to Hidane speak for a moment before he had a startling realization that his body, no his gigai, was just laying somewhere inside the bar. He looked down and grimaced at the horrible black kimono he hated so.
“Yeah let's head through the back. I need to get my gigai anyway.” He hated walking around like a ghost, here but not there. But gigai’s were never truly perfect either. They felt almost human but lacked something he couldn't quite put his finger on.
“After you my man.” Victor felt a little strange slipping down the alley towards back door. It reminded him a lot of his past, his living past. Dealing drugs in alleys similar like this. Beating down rival gangbangers in just the same dark corners. While he remembered being human fondly, he could now correctly reflect on his horrible actions.
‘Takes death to really put things into perspective.’ He thought to himself, a bit morosely. He wasn't wrong either. While he lost freedom after his death he was given great power, and along with that a responsibility he knew he was neglecting.
Hidane nodded at the Shinigami and lead him on, following after his Gigai across the street and into the back alley. Towards the back end of the building, they would find unusually homey wooden stairs leading up to a back door to the second floor. It must have been unlocked, since he didn’t see his AS hanging around outside, so he opened the door and went inside. Inside, he found that his counterpart had already set the girl down on the black sofa. It looked like Himiko had already come up with an excuse and brought Vic’s Gigai up, which his own had unceremoniously dumped onto the floor to clear a place for the girl. Classy.
He slipped into his own Gigai, coughing up his soul pill and drying it off on the legs of his pants before stuffing it back into his pocket, then gestured with his head for Vic to do the same before sitting on an arm of the sofa. Himiko would be up to check on the commotion soon, but in the meantime, the Visored felt the need to wrap his head around the situation… mostly, who exactly this newcomer on his scene was.
“Now then, now that we’re a bit less out in the open, and not being hassled by an overgrown monster,” the onyx-haired man spoke in a calm and even manner, “I wonder, what brings you to this town, friend? You said something about being on the lamb, so I’m going to assume it’s not a business trip, per say.” He leaned forward, brushing his hair clear of his red-and-white bi-colored eyes. “You in trouble or something?”
