Her outfit in Rukongai, Tenore likes the general appearance of a miko despite knowing nothing of them, mainly taking a liking to the clothes for their comfort and easiness to get around in. Her build is generally slim and muscular though thanks to the extensive travelling she did in Rukongai as well as her Shinigami training at the Academy and constant goings around of being an errand girl.
Since becoming a Shinigami she dons the usual garb so that it covers everything, but with the addition of the red hat from her miko outfit and of a high white collar reaching her chin instead. The shikakusho also has shorter sleeves reaching to the elbows because they kept getting in the way when she wants to grab her camera, which she has constantly slung round her neck on a grey strap, reaching down to her chest.
Standing at a respectable height of five foot and five inches, she has a hale and hearty complexion. However, she often appears fatigued and drained when she works into the night, which makes her even more irritable than usua
PERSONALITY
Tenore is a laconic, succinct introvert, who likes nothing better than taking pictures of nearly everything she sees with her instant Polaroid camera. She won't hesitate to interrupt a tender, romantic moment between two people she's never met so they become aware that she's snapping a photo of them, or even in the middle of a battle so she records the moment where a colleague or enemy demonstrates a powerful ability with a simple click of a button. This sparked up the nickname "Polaroid" while she was studying at the Academy, referring to her constant use of that kind of camera and how she's recognizable simply by that camera. Tenore doesn't mind the nickname however, or much of any insults thrown her way, being very open-minded and temperamental just about all the time. But needless to say, when her photos or camera are threatened or even scratched she'll lose control and hunt down whoever threatened them, whether they did so accidently or not.
Despite her forward nature when it comes to photography however, Tenore rarely tells anyone about herself, even close friends, and on the whole she's not a very talkative or sociable person at all. So in most social situations she prefers to be a quiet observer, forming her own opinion about how to tackle each thing that comes her way. But whenever she converses with someone new she's usually blunt and monosyllabic in her choice of words, despite the irony that Tenore dislikes being rude or snobbish. Because of this word choice and offhand mannerisms though, she can appear cold or guarded in her countenance, even if what she says has no malcontent within it. But it is true that if someone irritates her or claims something which is rather obvious she will be sarcastic and extra cold in her contributions.
Because of this sarcastic attitude of course, she doesn't have the strongest sense of teamwork in a group but since she hardly fights, this is never usually a problem. Of course this means that a lot of people are annoyed by her constant advice on what to do and telling her to do it instead, but she proudly claims that she's useless in situations where offense is necessary, incurring frustration. She does have a sense of humour however and for the most part has a sharp and witty tongue, also laughing cheerfully at most comedic antics or quirks that the squad and its members have.
Thus she is no misanthrope, and if it weren't for her obsession which she tends to use as an excuse, she may have managed to get some friends who could see past the cold outer layer to the warmer, fun-loving and adventurous side of her who is just passionate about the world and everything in it. Thus only those she trusts get to see a more warm, more talkative side but it's also noticeable when she refuses to harm or let get harmed anything which makes a good photo, which includes fellow shinigami (and also enemies). For this she'll defend them fiercely, even if it's for the wrong reasons.
Romance also brings this warmer, possessive side out; as she will consider the object of her admiration something which should never blemished or marred in the slightest, the pinnacle of perfection in a human. Although being biromantic is somewhat contradictory, this passion for defending is only heightened when the picture material is something which is cute or fluffy, a secret partiality that is somewhat contradictory to her usual frosty upfront, and instantly becomes embarrassing and awkward for her when someone brings up or sees her Zanpakutou's ability. Hence, she dislikes using her Zanpakutou's Shikai in combat, preferring Kido.
Furthermore, she's observant in all areas from body-language and it’s psychological implications to battle considering she's usually the back-up or sticking to the sidelines, and will quickly tell everyone what she knows, and bluntly. Her observance translates well into intelligence, but not in the academic sense of the word required to pass many exams. This is linked to her having a poor memory, and she doesn't remember names and faces well unless she comes into contact with that person often or have known them over a prolonged period of time, usually around three months minimum. It's a reason on why she loves photography so much - so that she doesn't forget her experiences, not that she would admit it. Fortunately her spirit can fill in the gaps but it's not always the case, enlightening many awkward situations over the years and so Tenore endeavours to remember as much as she can so that she can avoid these situations, thus disliking awkwardness in generally immensely. Any occasion where she is forced to remember something though can instantly make her flustered and unsure of herself too, and she shows noticeable hesitance for doing new things outside of her comfort zone.
Her own sense of justice is true though, and she won't take what any authority figure says as absolute, and is very careful to make her own judgement for anything considered to be unbecoming of a Shinigami. But she'll break the rules with little hesitation when the opportunity arises to take photos, which makes her do jobs out of interest, rather than any sense of duty.
A distinct lack of vanity is also present, usually not bothering with her self-image in the morning in order to get out there ASAP. This would imply that she's very humble, and she is, never being confident in her abilities except for Kido, and otherwise mumble modest comments on her skill due to her knowledge of many others stronger than she.
Altogether, Tenore is a relatively apathetic young girl who wants to see the world through her own eyes, and then through her camera. She may be socially inept and because of this she appears cold, but only because she's in pursuit of this goal and the sacrifice of the time it incorporates, hiding a passionate heart. One could say that with her observation abilities she should have been able to notice how antagonistic she was coming off to everyone, but well, the hardest person to know is yourself.
HISTORY
Chapter I: Picture of Serenity
Born into the 1st District of South Rukongai, she was brought up within its peace-loving, lawful society, and for the first hundred years of her life she spent it here, living peacefully. But as she grew up she realized that none of what she was seeing was going into her brain thanks to her faulty memory, and she wanted to record something, in order to remember it in the future. By chance there was a stall that sold cameras and film within the district, and after being enlightened on what a camera and film was, she immediately bought it and began to use it to record her life so it would begin to have some purpose. Finally the constant unfamiliarity around her was having some meaning.
But within the tranquil district, Tenore soon ran out of things to take pictures of, tired of tidy, rural houses, happy people and serene countryside, and so she began scouting to the edges of the district and wasting days there with hope for inspirational images. She yearned for something interesting, something new, something fresh. So it was only natural that the land beyond the 1st district beckoned her, and she heeded its call.
She travelled through South Rukongai with no clear destination in mind, but it wasn't long until she was clicking the button at thieves at the market, kids jumping over rooftops, and wilder plant-life. But Tenore still wasn't satisfied, unable to satiate this lust to see more of the world, more of its mysteries and so she went slowly yet progressively deeper and deeper into Rukongai, and it wasn't long until she was witness to a fight to the death.
Chapter II: Snap of Brutality
By this time she was 119 years old and sure she had seen a fair bit of interesting fist-fighting and sparring, photo-taking as necessary, but never a completely serious battle of life and death. But this was the 80th district after all and it happened nearly every day. And so she could only watch helplessly as one man sliced another down with a dagger, stabbing and mutilating the corpse to further emulate his victory, to the cheering of the crowd. The winner even went to the crowd and began attacking them too, down to the last child. The blood flew everywhere, splattering onto Tenore's photos.
Realizing she was looking for photo material in the wrong place, Tenore began to try to get out of the district after fleeing the scene of the fight, seeing more and more blood and death along the way. But the locals didn't take kindly to her trying to escape, and Tenore was rather ill-disposed for fighting her way out. With constant fear, constantly running, while also constantly wishing she could just give up and die, the years dragged on. Her heartbeat never relaxed, never able to sleep soundly.
Always on edge from even a casual glance at her as death and blood continued to surround her infinitely, solace was never given. Alone, afraid, and weak, her photos were meaningless with blood constantly splattering them, forever lost with her bad memory. Never able to perk a smile, everyone was a monster to her, powerful and intimidating. Running running running, she kept fighting death miserably, hanging onto threads of her being.
All this running of course heightened her speed and her dexterity, and so it wasn’t long until her spiritual power began to surface. But her hunger didn't make it any easier to escape from the thugs whenever she was caught stealing food, being larger than her. So, desperate, she eventually began using her head and look for anything which might be helpful, her body weak and frail. Awakening her keen observation ability in the process, she managed to get out by hiding within some cargo. But this only happened a whole two decades after she had first entered the district.
Chapter III: Flash of Reality
Continuing to backtrack as fast as she could to the 1st district she tried to come to terms with her lust for exploration. To say to herself that this was enough. That seeing death was more than enough. She knew that she could never forget this experience, but as she gradually continued to see happy, more cheerful faces, she resented what she had seen in the 80th district even more. She couldn't look at an innocent child the same way again, not without seeing blood on their faces. She began to yearn to protect them, protect those smiles which made such good photographs. But death had made her grow cold, and she closed in on herself, now fully aware of the brutality of the world, even if it had the things that she loved in it. Her guard could never be lowered, not to anyone.
But something nagged her that she would still forget that she existed if she did nothing again; that her life wouldn't serve some purpose, and she'd endlessly be trying to kill any amount of time before she dies, hopefully quickly. So in order to kill that time and have interesting photos to remember it by, Tenore looked in the other direction at an age of 150 - to try and become a Shinigami.
Chapter IV: Archive the Experience
Tenore's Academy days were one blast of events over another for her, being faced with something new to learn every day. She loved trying to do everything, but when it came to people, she would fail abysmally. She would see that blood, and unable to know what to do, acted sarcastic and cold to her classmates, even if she occasionally snapped photos of them.
But because of her dislike of swords due to that traumatic experience, she was below the average in her swordsmanship. But she took great interest in Kido, liking how projectile attacks meant she didn't have to watch someone or something die when she was forced to fight it. Unsurprisingly she got top marks for Kido since she invested so much time in it, but peer pressure from her classmates as well as her teachers pressed her into doing more for her Zanpakutou training, repeatedly lecturing her about tradition and duty. This plagued her mind despite her anti-social status, and she began doubting her methods of becoming a Shinigami through pure Kido training.
Chapter V: Taking the Initiative
So during a late-night study where the next day was the Zanpakutou exam, Tenore fell asleep on the books, none the wiser on any information within them and with her stomach knotted with dread. She lapsed into a deeper slumber as her mind muddled itself with thoughts of the blade, techniques and spirits before she suddenly found herself standing quite awake.
Looking around on this strangely summery day with not a cloud in the sky, she observed tall dandelion seeds as big as the largest and oldest oak trees in every direction, the canopy standing a hundred meters above her head, a translucent white blanket. She shifted slightly then, to which brief pain ached through the soles of her feet, dead prickly grass stabbing through her bare feet.
But then a figure. Female by the looks of it, was sitting behind one of those seeds, absentmindedly humming a tune. But she then turned to look at Tenore, smiled and stood up, walking slowly towards her.
“Glad you’re here. Afraid I wouldn’t see beyond this world otherwise,” she said warmly. Brown eyes softened their gaze at her.
Tenore took a moment to register what she was seeing. Brown sheep horns, a fairly woolly outfit, pink hair and hooves, complimented with such a distant yet loving gaze...
Hands felt automatically for the space around her neck to take a photo, but her camera was nowhere to be seen. She only had her academy uniform and her Zanpakutou with her.
But the womanly sheep (or the sheeply woman) wouldn’t go away, continuing to gaze at Tenore with a slight, knowing smile. The brunette looked to her with narrowed eyes, thinking. She had something similar to her own desires...and this place...
“You...my Zanpakutou?” she asked tentatively.
A simple nod was her answer. Tenore glanced around at the surroundings.
“My inner world?” she asked.
Another simple nod.
Well, since as she was here... Tenore drew her blade, exhaling slightly to relax herself, eyes shimmering slightly as she gulped. Today, she could earn Shikai if she defeated this sheep woman...earn the name. She charged without warning, emerald eyes full of this gritted determination.
Kido after Kido, slice after stab, Tenore continued to attack this sheep. But, by some incomprehensible reason, the figure simply raised an arm, reiatsu shining on it. And then a moment later the attack would bounce off, not a speck of dirt blemishing the enemy. Yet, she wouldn’t fight back. Save for occasional clash with her own blade, the figure simply took every attack, blocking or deflecting, not even bothering to dodge, hardly flinching.
She was waiting for something, stalling for something. Tenore’s breath was uneven and taxed so she paused in her assault, racking her brain on what else she could do. Surely she at least have some chance?! But...with all her attacks like this... Tenore relaxed her stance. She couldn’t do it.
But then the sheep’s eyes flashed at her pause, her lack of resolve, her tempting smile growing as she glanced at the blade within Tenore’s hands. And then charged. Tenore’s eyes widened, trying to comprehend this alien movement.
She's never attacked before... She paused when I paused, she only defended...never struck back, never retaliated... Tenore’s thoughts were rapid, flitting from one to another. The epiphany hit her. That’s it!
Raising her blade, Tenore let the swords cross, blocking the attack and forcing the sheep to jump away. No counter-attack. The woman grinned, again looking to the blade in Tenore’s hands. Smiling as she now knew what she wanted after looking back between them for a few moments, Tenore then slowly, sheathed the blade.
Quiet, modest applause hit Tenore’s ears.
“Well done, Tenore. You blocked and did not counter; not relying on the sharpness of my blade when my strength is within the defence of my wool,” she explained, brown eyes glinting.
An uneasy yet happy smile spread across Tenore’s lips.
“The name’s Tanpopomuton. A pleasure.”
The smile became a grin.
“Likewise.”
Despite knowing her Zanpakutou's name however, it didn't give Tenore an edge whatsoever in the exam although she managed to scrap a pass. Yet, she didn't want to choose a squad where she would use her blade often or if she could help it, at all. Unfortunately she ended up having to pick almost randomly due to the unhelpfully unspecific prospectuses, and so she ended up with Squad Thirteen, all the while hoping for the best photo-taking opportunities in the place where she would begin her new life.
Chapter VI: Albums of Activity
Within Squad Thirteen Tenore did find solace, she did find colleagues, and of them she wished she could remember the most important of all of them. She could feel her memory slowly deteriorating when she forgot things that should not have been forgotten, reminded only of the memories when she gazed upon her photos. Strong she was getting, and more apt in Kido she was getting, but only because of time away from her colleagues, her friends. She did regret it, but there was little she could do about it, unable as she was to help herself when she forgot something.
After all, how could one remember what they had long forgotten without prompting?
Despite this, she got strong enough to be recognized as a seated officer, the 5th seat. Quite a jump from a newly graduate. But the promotion only gave her more things to remember, and thus more things to forget. She mixed with society little, and when she did it was usually only in battle, despite a non-mastered Shikai at this time. If she did train it was just about always in Kido, it's allure rather inviting to her, and she even began creating her own amidst her work.
Eventually deciding that the Kidoshu was where she belonged, she got ready to leave. Yet, there was one person whom she truly cared about whom she’d be leaving in that squad. No, they’d see each other still. Somewhere in a place where all memories would be remembered.

When the second incantation is recited, the rocks will slowly come together, gradually crushing the opponent. However, after the second incantation is recited it must be repeated over and over again until the "ritual" of crushing the opponent is complete. This leaves the user extremely vulnerable during the ritual period. It takes an average of five minutes to completely crush the target. Name: Bakudo #68 Hibikiwataru (Resonate) Class: Kido Type: Binding Tier: V Range: 25 Meters Incantation: The distant storm approaches! Ominous booming thunder signaling the incoming wrath of Heaven. The shattered Vault, torn asunder by Raijin's fury! Five chimes, rattling bones, the savage Raijin lets loose his fearsome roar! Description: An advanced version of Bakudō #14, Hibiku. Electricity crackles around the user before a pulse of electricity in the shape of a thick pillar spreads out, delivering a nasty electric shock to anyone who is caught. The pillar barrier then explodes, sending foes flying.
Name: Bakudo #71 Hikari no Kasui (光の花穂) (Light Spikes) Class: Kido Type: Binding Tier: V Range: 50 Meters Incantation: "Shear, Blessed being. Strike, you are powerful. You are brave. You stand not along, come to my side. Your aid shall bring prosperity!" Description: A light based Kido, similar to the Rikujokoro technique. This attack is one in which the user summons several spikes of light from below the opponent, appearing as if it were to stab the opponent. However, instead it wraps around the target upon contact, binding the user heavily. In total, there are 13 spikes. These are very strong and difficult to break, and if a Zanpakuto contacts them, it's wrapped by the light instead of deflecting the light.
Name: Bakudo #73 Tozanshō (Falling Mountain Crystal) Class: Kido Type: Defensive Tier: V Range: 30 Meters from User Incantation: Description: Creates an inverted pyramid-shaped barrier around the caster.
Name: Bakudo #75 Gochūtekkan (Quintet of 1 kan Iron Pillars) Class: Kido Type: Binding Tier: V Range: 30 Meters Incantation: Walls of iron sand, a priestly pagoda, glowing ironclad fireflies. Name: Bakudo #77 Tenteikūra (Heavenly Rickshaws in Silken Air) Class: Kido Type: Binding Tier: VI Range: 50 Meters Incantation: Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Footprints, distant thunder, sharp peak, engulfing land, hidden in the night, sea of clouds, blue line. Form a circle and fly though the heavens. Description: Transmits messages mentally to anyone within an area of the caster's choosing. In addition to reciting the spell, the user must draw specific markings on their arms, which are animated by the spell to convey the messages. The messages can be spoken either by the caster or by another within the vicinity of the caster.
HEALING
Name: Keikatsu (Opening Revival) * Class: Kido Tier: II - VI Type: Healing Range: <5 Meters Incantation: Unknown Description: A simple healing spell used to heal injuries. Costing Reiatsu depending on the wound, this Kidou surrounds the target in a flash of green light, before starting to heal their injuries. The lighter wounds like mere scratches are removed in one post, not per wound, but in total. Deeper wounds like large cuts and lacerations take longer to cure, taking up to 2 posts.
Only those in Squad Four with Above Average Healing or those in the Kidoshu with Above Average Kido can attempt the next stage of this technique, healing broken bones and deep lacerations over 3 osts, with Kidoshu taking one post longer. Those with Advanced Healing or Advanced Kido can go further and can heal even lost limbs, which take about 4 posts to regenerate. Kidoshu members will take 2 posts longer to heal this. Some internal injuries can be healed, while injuries like cuts in the heart cannot. This technique cannot heal poisons and other ailments.
Name: Meiyu (Luminous Healing) * Class: Kido Type: Healing Tier: II - VI Range: 10 Meters Incantation: Unknown Description: Taking the idea of Keikatsu, Meiyu is another healing technique that functions on an area of effect. This is able to heal up to five people within an area of ten meters around the caster. The restrictions, costs and durations for healing are the same as Keikatsu, but for each person that is within the area, the cost is not spread over everyone but for each person that needs healing. Thus this is a technique that saves time for healing multiple people, adding a total of 2 posts to each duration.
OTHER
Name: Bakudo #28: Kyōmon (Mirror Door) * Class: Kido Tier: III Type: Defensive Range: <5 Meters Incantation: Unknown Description: Hitsugaya Tōshirō used this to seal Momo Hinamori's hospital room. It creates a glass-like barrier which is difficult to break from the outside, but quite simple to break from the inside.
Name: Bakudo #35: Hakufuku (White Crawl) * Class: Kido Tier: III Type: Binding Range: 15 Meters Incantation: N/A Description: Hinamori Momo uses this Kidō while imprisoned to knock out a guard and destroy everything within a certain radius of herself. The anime suggests that it is a binding Kidō, but doesn't number it.
Name: Bakudo #47: Shuuhakyakko (Wave Curving Light) Class: Kido Tier: IV Type: Supplementary Range: User-only. Incantation: N/A Description: An advanced version of Kyakko, he user's Reiatsu and physical appearence are completely hidden from everyone around after putting on a rainbow coloured cloak of light. This Kidou is not as easily dispelled by simple moving around, however, any Kidou can dissipate the cloak, and those ranked only two ranks higher can already see through and rip off the cloak with ease, while those at equal ranks would only be able to detect a faint disturbance.
BATTLE SKILLS
Name: Zenrei Hasaki (Precedent Cutting Edge) Class: Reiryoku Technique Type: Offensive Range: 2m Tier: IV Description: The user manipulates their reiatsu and condenses it around their arm, extending it outward for a length of the average sealed Zanpakutou. The reiatsu appears in the colouration and texture unique to each user but the effect is the same: It essentially creates a blade for one to use in your off-hand or in the event of a disarming.
The pros of this technique are the fact that this blade cannot be disarmed from you and that it is lighter than a normal blade for obvious reasons. The downside is that for every post it is used it drains a certain amount of reiatsu to sustain. It’s strength and also durability is based on its tier. Otherwise the techniques functions like an ordinary blade.
Duration of two posts, cooldown four posts.
Name: Ocean Spray Class: Reiryoku Technique Type: Offensive/Defensive Range: Two metres Tier: V Description: The user coats themselves in reiatsu, with a large majority being compressed around the sword arm. Acting as both an offensive and defensive tool, it swirls around the body and the blade in the style of violent waves of reiatsu, similar to those of an ocean torrent. These ‘waves’ flow like water around the body and condense the water vapour in the air around the user, causing light to shimmer and refract. This happens in a two metre radius around the user, where additionally the area becomes subject to intense winds and cold air.
The effect this does is three fold: The offensive part is that it allows all normal melee slashes into the full force of crashing waves at Tier III, though it doesn't increase the range. This also inflicts a debuff according to the advantage system.
The defensive part is that it can block up to Tier III abilities before dissolving.
And finally, it grants a speed buff of 1.5x, leaving a foaming, violent reiatsu wake behind them.
Duration of 3 posts, cooldown 6 posts.
Name: Lattice Shell Class: Weapon Skill Type: Defensive Range: Self Tier: Tier IV Description: By inserting reiryoku into the valley between the forked tips of her Shikai, an elastic thick, fluffy white wool across it is created. This dense yet springy reiryoku can deflect and reflect projectiles back at their owners but not absorb them, acting like a tennis racket. Cannot reflect Tier V and above at equal advantages.
Moreover, the technique/Kido can only be reflected if its nature allows it. Therefore Kido like Shakkaho, Suimyaku and Shitotsu Sansen and can be reflected, but Kido like Hainawa, Tsuzuri Raiden and Hishuran can’t.
Duration 2 posts, Cooldown 4 posts.
Name: Skying Class: Weapon Skill Type: Offensive/Defensive Range: Medium Tier: Tier III Description: Designed to turn the tide of conflict, this technique consists of two strikes. The first can be initiated by any upward strike infused with reiatsu, which blows away equal advantage opponents by up to five radial metres around the user, otherwise not inflicting Tier damage. This burst of wind also conjures dozens of white reiatsu feathers into the air within that radial area.
The second strike is a downward stroke, and can be done immediately after the first one. In addition to another burst of wind around the user exactly like the first one, the feathers from before home on and rain down on an opponent, creating thin pillars of light as they impale the ground or enemy. They will home in on an opponent so long as they stay within a range of 50m, otherwise they’ll disintegrate past it, and the user cannot directly control their flight, and they stop only when they hit something. But their damage works on penetration akin to senbon needles rather than widespread attacks and do a collective damage of Tier III, and they travel at half the speed of a Bala. The feathers are one inch wide and five inches long.
Duration 5 posts (including post of summoning)
Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of steps.
ITEMS
Item Name: Kido Camera Tier: I-IV Type: Type of the Kidou stored. Range Varies on Kidou stored. Description:
12 ounces of crystals formed from a mixture of diamond and quartz, in the same process as used for the KATE
2 ounces of pure diamond
1 KATE engine
1 ounce of rubber
Effects/Abilities: Due to being infused with reiatsu, the quality of pictures that this camera can take is simply exquisite, whether its in the dark or the light, and being able to switch between two modes. The first mode takes pictures that are almost as life-like as looking at it in person. The second mode actually allows the camera to record for between two seconds and one week, and print a picture that actually moves with the recorded images and sounds. The picture fixes itself, so that it loops infinitely without being able to notice the reset.
It can switch between all currently developed lenses, has a zoom of up to 100 times, is durable enough to resist zanpakuto slices when reiatsu is applied into it, as the casing is made of reaitsu conductive crystals. It has a strap which is adjustable up to six feet, for perfect fit.
The real power behind the camera is Zodiarne's newly developed, Kido Conversion Engine, which he calls his K.A.T.E. or Kido Accumulation Transfer Engine. (below)
Item Name: K.A.T.E - Kido Accumulation Transfer Engine Tier: Tier I-IV. Type: Misc. Range: Varies on the stored Kidou. Description:
It is exactly 3 inches long, and 1 1/4 inches wide. Materials used:
Copper wiring x 10 inches
2 pounds of aluminum
3 pounds of titanium
1 pound of rubber for copper wire sheathes
3 programmable micro chips
2 crystals formed of a combination of quartz and diamond, made through a smelting process involving he application of reiatsu.
Abilities/Effects: The KATE is able to literally store up to three different kidou, up to Tier IV in power, unless Eishohaki which is up to Tier III (unless the user has full-power no-incant), inside the crystals within itself for later use. The kidou remains charged for up to three posts before the charge dies instantly on the 4th post. Each Kidou stored has its own duration for this.
The Kidou is released via button command, which is connected to the containment crystals. The Kidou itself is modified to take the form of a bullet, though it retains all its original abilities, including color. The KATE itself is modified through application of reiatsu to modify its ability to withstand repeated usage.
Storage of a Kidou requires one to cast the Kidou into the back of the camera through the battery pack which will automatically absorb it. Cooldown applies after the Kidou is initially put into the camera, not after the camera fires it. No more than a single Kidou can be fired from the camera per post.
REIATSU FEATURES
As if she was swallowed by multiple clouds, Tenore's reiatsu hovers over her in a fluffy manner, billowing out like clothes in the wind. It's predominantly a grey-white in colour, but amongst the edges of the clouds' underline are bright orange tendrils. The smell is akin to that of freshly cut grass and morning dew. When she is angry however, the clouds billow around more ferociously like caught in a typhoon.
ZANPAKUTOU
TANPOPOMUTON (DANDELION SHEEP)
DEFENSIVE/KIDOU
AMUEITO (KNIT WOOL)
SEALED FORM
The hilt and the sheath are both a dark grey in colour, with the diamonds among the hilt coloured white. The guard's design is in a sunflower shape, with eight semi-circular petals. Compared to most Zanpakutou though, the hilt appears slightly longer than most. In addition, perhaps because of its abilities, its weight is minimal and extremely light, designed more for parrying and blocking nearer the hilt.
Tanpopo literally is the personification of Tenore's deepest secrets brought to surface, the partiality to anything fluffy and cute coming out phenomenally. In addition to this though, there are two white horn-like weapons with a black blade hooked onto her dress, just in-between where those little pompoms are. These are mostly decorative, but they can be used as projectiles.
SPIRIT PERSONALITY
Although having the same fondness for monosyllabic speech as her master, where Tenore is cold, Tanpopo is warm. She stands more as an encouraging presence rather than a vigorous support player, wishing more for fighting to stop than for it to begin, and doesn't mind stating that she's glad her powers aren't for battle. Alongside this pacifistic nature which is similar to Tenore's, Tanpopo enjoys seeing the world and what's in it, even if it's through Tenore's eyes.
But since Tanpopo's eyes are constantly filled with remorse and sadness, one of the things she laments over is the desire to see the inner world not have only prickly, dead, grass among dandelion seeds and be filled with life and more greenery again, to back before the trauma. But this desire is not to see her master in a better state of mind, but because she constantly has pain in her hooves from the grass and as she comments, feeling pain in her master's inner world is too absurd a notion to be believed, especially when the majority of her body is soft and fluffy.
Otherwise she acts as mellow and as kind as she appears to be, even if her sentences are minimalistic in structure and often as blunt as Tenore's. Sometimes she says so little that its hard to understand what she was trying to get across, but sometimes a couple of words is all Tenore gets as a clue to becoming stronger, and obviously she becomes very frustrated over her Zanpakutou's inability to talk properly when this happens. But Tanpopo has honest, good intentions behind them, truly wishing to help Tenore in what she considers to be a goal that's true to herself.
As if you were on a dandelion puff, above your head there being the large, translucent canopy of white dandelion seeds under a cloudless sky. The ground itself has little activity, simply having a thin blanket of snow on top of it despite the summery weather, shielding lush, healthy green grass. In addition in the background, several dandelion seeds bigger than mountains dot the horizon and landscape. Also because of the location having its own gravity, one can walk all the way round the spherical dandelion head without falling off.
SHIKAI
SHIKAI APPEARANCE
The guard gains golden coloured sheep horns that point down towards the hilt, joined by some small, flanking tufts of white tassel. These sheep horns where they curl at the end also have small holes that one can put two fingers through, primarily used for spinning the blade.
From its sealed state, the hilt grows noticeably longer on top of its already long nature making the length of the hilt half the total length of the blade.
The blade itself changes by adopting a sabre-like appearance, thin and double-edged. It also has a forked tip at the end, adjacent to each other and ten inches apart, reminiscent of a sheep's two-pronged hoof. Otherwise the colours of the hilt and design of the guard are unchanged from the sealed form.
SHIKAI ABILITIES
Name: Youmou Kabe (Wool Wall) Class: Shikai Technique Type: Defensive Range: Created at 1-5m. Tier: Tier II-IV Description: Her Shikai's main ability, on Tenore's command both her sword tips instantaneously generate thick, sheet-white fluffy walls of "woolly" material used for blocking attacks quickly and effectively, also instantaneously taking the desired size and shape that Tenore wants when created, regardless of size. As a general rule hand-to-hand attacks and attempts at cutting them have no effect at all unless at a higher advantage. No individual Wall loses/gains power based on the present number of Walls, and there can be as many as Tenore permits on the battlefield.
General Abilities: Any Wool, be large or small, thick or thin, can be inserted with reiryoku in order to block up to a Tier IV technique, but only larger shields can block larger scale attacks.
Smaller Walls which are created with a smaller amount of reiatsu require an additional input of power in order to block attacks stronger than its usual limit. Any small Walls injected with additional reiatsu do not get any bigger, and once the attack is blocked they instantly disperse.
Distance from Tenore does not affect how long any Wool lasts, only dispersing with time, which is roughly proportional to the Tier. They can only be moved around by the will of Tenore, otherwise being immovable masses stuck to the ground. Being woolly however they are light to anyone who is allowed to lift it, and can be commanded to stick to anything which has reiatsu, allowing for temporary armour.
They can also be created by converting Fluffy Birth dandelion seeds back to Walls, but only creates (multiple) example 3 Walls, and only lasts for the duration of the attack and so disappears afterward. If size is insufficient to make example 3, creates example 4 walls.
Sizes, power and time limits with examples: 1) A Wall twice the height and five times the width and breadth of Tenore. Tier IV, duration 2 posts, cooldown 4 posts. 2) A Shield wrapped around Tenore and/or one other person to defend from any attack from all directions. Tier IV, duration 2 posts, cooldown 4 posts. To get out or in, one can use Shunpo but only with Tenore's will. 3) Shield half the size as example 1 for smaller attacks. Tier III, duration 7 posts. 4) Sphere the size of Tenore's head which can be thrown. Tier II, duration 8 posts.
Name: Fuwafuwa Shussei (Fluffy Birth) Class: Shikai Technique Type: Offensive Range: Max of 100m Tier: Tier II-IV Description: Linking to the previous ability, Wool Walls can be burst on command into thousands of what appear to be dandelion seeds, upon which they can be sent to drift on any wind, including Anemoi. (3rd tech) Either via command or by a large impact with them, they will explode with force, but not fire, and in effect act like hard punches or kicks. Large impacts which will set the seeds to 'explode', provided having at least equal advantages as Tenore, includes elemental attacks and reiatsu-based attacks like Kido/Cero.
General Abilities: They're not drawn to anything with reiatsu, but they do stick to anything which has any, and are nearly impossible to get off once on. However they can be burnt off but one can't expel them with reiatsu due to the seeds' stickiness. Distance doesn't affect when the seeds disperse.
If the Wool Walls used to create the seeds were permeated and not dry, then the seeds cannot be blown on the wind and will fall instantly to the ground. However, they can still 'explode' if wet, making them useful mines. If they're not sent to the wind upon creation they will remain levitated and disperse only when they reach their time limit which is the same duration of time they would have if they were still walls after being created (the time resets when they're converted).
The seeds can be converted back to walls, but only creates (multiple) example 3 Walls as a Tier III technique, and only lasts for the duration of the attack. If size is insufficient, creates example 4 walls.
For each seed created from the Wool Wall, they each individually have the power of a Tier II technique in its explosive force, regardless of the size of the wall it came from. So the more seeds that explode, the greater the damage.
Name: Anemoi Class: Shikai Technique Type: Offensive/Defensive Range: Max of 50m. Tier: Tier III Description: By spinning the blade or by slicing the blade in a downward direction through any means, reiryoku-based gusts of wind are created, travelling at the speed of a Bala. It’s able to be manipulated and go in any direction, acting like a snake within a single tornado. It isn't a razor wind and cannot cut, and is more on the lines of a force push, inflicting Tier III damage if it hits. It can go wherever it wishes and manipulate Fluffy Birth (2nd tech) however it wishes. Also, solid non-reiatsu constructs such as kunai, shuriken etc will reflect no matter the advantages.
If Tenore wants additional gusts, she has to repeat the movement. They last for the duration of the post.
An alternate use of this technique uses Tenore's reiryoku in the wind to create a thin narrow cylindrical wool construct that can either be hollow or not of 1m radius and one foot thick if hollow. It still cannot cut or inflict reiryoku based damage, but it can still block attacks up to Tier III. However unlike the pure gust, its direction is straight and in one-direction, and it also cannot reflect attacks, only block them.
If Tenore wants additional wool cylinders, she has to repeat the movement and they only last for the duration of the post. Because it doesn't last long, they cannot be turned into Fluffy Birth.
Name: Kumo Moufu (Cloud Blanket) Class: Shikai Technique Type: Defensive Range: Short Tier: Tier II-IV Description: When anything that is small/thin enough to be caught between the forked tips of the blade (they’re ten inches apart), very sticky "clouds" are generated from that point on command and cover and stick to a singular object and are difficult or at least troublesome to remove. These clouds are a very light grey in colour and fluffy in shape but they have solid form, merely taking the appearance of a cloud.
Abilities: Firstly like Wool Walls (1st tech) these clouds can also be burst on command into dandelion seeds for a use of Fluffy Birth (2nd tech). And because of the stickiness shared, they can't be removed from expelling reiatsu.
However should the victim be fast enough, they can get rid of the clouds before it spreads too far by slicing/pulling them off. Although the clouds will stop growing, they will still stick to the new object and still be irremovable by normal means.
This technique is mainly applied to other Zanpakutou and other weapons in order to make them blunt but can apply to organic things too should part of their body like hands or necks go between the tips. This can be applied onto as many items as Tenore likes at a time during the duration, but the cooldown stacks for each additional use. The period until disintegration is proportional to the size of the item the clouds covered. For any item, it takes one post for the cloud to cover it excluding organic objects like Shinigami/Hollow/Humans. For them, it takes one post for them to cover the area as denoted by their advantages.
Sizes and time limits: Zanpakutou, swords, spears, staffs etc is Tier III, with the time limit before disintegration being five posts.
Anything smaller such as shuriken and kunai is Tier II, lasting for eight posts.
Anything larger than an average person from lamp posts to small houses are Tier IV, lasting for three posts with one post cooldown.
Any organic beings or human opponents no matter their size is Tier IV. The duration and cooldown depends on advantage calculation, as well as how much they get covered and slowed down. They also incur a debuff to natural speed and agility relative to the advantage difference between them and Tenore, but this is an honour-system based debuff.
Advantage Table +2 Advantages: Gets covered by the same area as one limb depending on where they're hit, not slowed down but awkward movement in that limb. Duration one post, cooldown five posts. +1 Advantage: Gets two limbs surface area covered. Duration two posts, cooldown four posts. Equal Advantages: Gets half their body covered. Duration three posts, cooldown three posts. -1 Advantage: Gets nearly all their body covered. Duration four posts, cooldown two posts. -2 Advantages: Gets completely covered and cannot move, and will pass out from suffocation after three posts, death in another two posts. Maximum duration five posts, cooldown one post.
Youmou Kabe (Wool Wall)" - Sizes, power and time limits with examples: 1) A Wall twice the height and five times the width and breadth of Tenore. Tier IV, duration 3 posts, cooldown 1 post. 2) A Shield wrapped around Tenore and/or one other person to defend from any attack from all directions. Tier IV, duration 4 posts, cooldown 1 post. To get out or in, one can use Shunpo but only with Tenore's will." <- Tier IV+ cooldown should be twice the duration.
Fuwafuwa Shussei (Fluffy Birth) - You need a measurable distance the "seeds" can reach.
Anemoi - Tier III half-bala speed max.
Kumo Moufu (Cloud Blanket) - Is the x.25 etc to speed in this technique a debuff to speed or more a honor system idea? If it is a debuff to speed we don't really have those degrees. If honor system you're cool.
"The effect this does is three fold: The offensive part is that it allows all normal melee slashes into the full force of crashing waves at Tier III, though it doesn't increase the range. This also inflicts a debuff according to the advantage system." <- What is the debuff? I'm a bit confused by that.
Kido Camera - Does this have any actual techniques to it battle wise? You say that it depends on the kido stored, but I saw no mention of what the kido would do/do do?
K.A.T.E - Kido Accumulation Transfer Engine - You'll need to use the Item Template for this completely including the techniques described of it separated out accordingly.
