Visual Novels were fantastic for passing time, especially for someone who wasn’t well off with Japanese. Jack continued reading Japanese letters trying his best at making out what each meant while thoughts weren’t in his natural speaking language. Elongated conversations gave him a headache but each time Jack’s mind almost defaulted back to English he couldn’t bring up anything except broken sentences. He groaned while continuing his reading on the latest Visual Novel by Key. Despite not having erotic scenes story alone was enough to captivate his interests. Good story was far from recently released manga or anime, most dealing with fanservice somehow. Old European stories concerning knights stood above all other stories, even those epic samurai anime.
Jack flipped back and forth from his Word Document and Visual Novel, taking down varying vocabulary words he hadn’t heard before or in a long time. His story wasn’t full of enriched vocabulary everywhere but from time to time he used them; making sure he kept constant with grammar throughout. Of course, writing his own story online with daily updates wasn’t easy. People seemed to enjoy it often complaining when he wasn’t posting daily. ”Winter K/Night.” How did he even come up with a title like that? He sighed heavily and slouched onto the pillows and thick quilt of his bed; easily enough considering it was right next to his computer desk.
And like that light broke through darkness in his rooms, splintering warm yellow fragments stirred a nearly resting Jack. ”Stayed up all night again.” Jack hopped out from bed then made for a quick change in clothes. Early morning meant staying dressed in his long sleeve white shirt and black sweatpants. Although Jack did put on black velcro sneakers when heading out into the streets. Not forgetting his wallet and cellphone. Time to get some coffee. As he locked the door he looked out across the street watching some students heading towards school. Wasn’t a school day but most likely they were dealing with club activities. Jack didn’t give a smile but chuckled underneath his melancholic expression, cute girls were cute.
