Reason: Aien, having been secretly abducted by Gage, underwent about 36 hours of being experimented on. Enduring pain to the point of exhaustion, Aien's heart had the blood drained at cup sized while fighting off a foreign blood implanted in his body. Aien survived despite the trouble he went through to become a benefit to Gage's research. Then, after it was all over, Gage turned the human Aien into a newly born Sub Shinigami in an illegal fashion. |
