The chilly cold air blows over the almost still river that proceeds to rob Aien of his warmth. Causing Aien to wrap himself up with the scarf that is a simple grey wool scarf. If anything it is keeping his face warm, but there was something wrong with this river. It was like something cold is tickling the back of his neck when he clearly has it covered with the scarf. It was like an ominous presence was lingering in the air, watching him from the shadows as it stalks him with its predatory eyes. Or at least that's what it feels like as Aien looked over his shoulder to see nothing but himself occupying this river. So shrugging his shoulders, Aien resumed in walking along the river as he puts on his headphones and pressed the play button on his MP3.
No sooner when he first played this song did a particular distinct howl echoed in the distance. Aien couldn't hear it of course because his ears are covered with the headphones and masked with the lyrics flowing from the speakers. But the howl was ever the same present in this area. His amber eyes focused forward as Aien is watching where he is going. Aien's feet softly stepping onto the grassy slope as he tucked his hands into the pockets of his hoodie. The world around him seemingly to be ignored in terms of hearing as another distinct howl can be heard in the distance. Only this one seemed to be a lot closer, and from the corner of Aien's eyes he saw something dark flickered into existence. Aien would stop walking for a moment as he turned his head over to that direction, and yet sees nothing out of the ordinary. Kind of confused and a bit skittish about this presence he is feeling on his shoulders. Aien took off his headphones just to make sure before he suddenly got dumped by something warm and wet. He flinched as he staggered backwards a bit as the liquid that fell on him quickly became cold as a particular smell of iron reaches his nostrils. No wonder why as he is mostly covered from head to toe in a red colored dye. Or at least it looked like dye.
Aien looked up to see what exactly was the source, but then he sees a set of red teeth up on the bridge yet it belongs to nothing but air. "What in the...?" Aien began to say before something small fell to the ground roughly five feet away from him. Which caused him to become surprised as to find out it was the bottom half of a person that looked like it was wearing a dress with a single high heel on. What leftover intestines were hanging out from the open wound as blood continued to pour out of the bottom half corpse until it formed a puddle. Suddenly becoming nauseated, Aien covered his mouth as his eyes grew wide after figuring out what exactly was on him. It was the blood of a person, and it was the very same blood he's covered in. But then... 'what could possibly do something this horrific?!' Aien wondered before turning his attention back up at the bridge where he saw the teeth. However it was no longer there, and Aien noticed the sky above him got a little darker as his eyes wondered further up. It was just a blur, but Aien saw something large falling towards him and through instinct to move Aien jumped forward and rolled forward onto his feet in order to cover more distance. Which meant rolling into the puddle of blood even more than Aien liked to, but that didn't really matter anymore as that lower half got crushed into the ground as whatever this barely visible outline creature stomped on it. Now he sees a three toed feet that actually looks like they represent a raptor of some kind from the Jurassic period. Still, Aien didn't have time to think as those feet spun around to reveal a set of clearly sharp red fangs and attempted to jump at Aien. The Human quickly jumped over to the side to avoid the jump, but not exactly quick enough as something ripped through the side of his hoodie. Luckily here was no wound yet, but it was awfully close to become one.
"Holes? In the 'world'?" Gabriel lapsed into silence as he considered what his handler was telling him. His pasta, a usual favorite was steaming on a plate before him, begging to be devoured after what was a long day followed by lock up at Nox's. But food would have to wait, because apparently their were holes opening up around the place. Holes that led 'elsewhere' and posed a risk of someone with just enough sensitivity slipping through and ending who knows where.
"Yes Gabriel. Holes in the world. Headquarters needs you to locate one, determine what you can and submit a report." The rough voice of his handler usually gave him shivers, not that he would let on to that. But now, his scruffy tones were laced with something. If he were a betting man he'd put money that it was concerned. He hadn't done many assignments for the Venatori yet, and all of them, with the exception of Zgharta were strictly Intel gathering. His Handler shouldn't be so concerned...unless..
The young agent turned his gaze from perfectly good fettuccine Alfredo to a wall painted with mute beige. his handler remained silent, inured by now to his ways. It was possible he already knew where his charge would end up. He was a bright young man, and they were trained to dissect situations and arrive at the most probably conclusion.
"What aren't you telling me?"
"This is...problematic" Gabriel muttered to himself as he walked down the shadowed streets. He had not at all been happy with Handlers response to his question. Rather than a long drawn out conversation where he would have to pry information his reluctant handler would do his best to clutch at he received a stack of e-reports and photos. People were being attacked, and then going missing. According to his employers they haven't yet found out whats been happening to the individuals, or where they've ended up. "Their not very good at the Watcher thing, for a secret occult organization."
He cycled through the pictures one more time, glancing up to gauge his direction before refocusing on the scant amount of information he received. "The Hole should be somewhere.."
["SHRRRRRRK!]
Something large, clawed, and dripping blood flashed across his vision right as a piercing shriek slammed into his ears. It was brief, fleeting, a moment on the breeze. But it was enough. Gabriel focused, dipped into the reservoir of Reiryoku in his body and expanded his senses. He usually kept his attention passive, but he would need to track, and track fast. Directing his focus outward he turned in the direction the breeze came from and took off. He had always been fast. Now, he would put it to use.

This creature insists on biting down on Aien as it turned itself around with its crimson fangs flashing and launches itself towards Aien once again. Only this time it seems to be going for a head bash than a bite, but Aien managed to cartwheel his way to the side to avoid the attack as there was a loud thud sound of dirt being struck by something blunt. Baring down his teeth as the adrenaline is flowing widely within his veins, Aien quickly got on his feet and kept his focus on this blurry creature. Aien knew he could never outrun this creature for it simply moves too fast in a straight line to avoid. As much as the young teen hates to admit, he's going to need to borrow some of his powers just to uphold his own against this creature. Without too much time to ponder on his decision anymore, Aien commanded his not so favorite phrase. "Heed my call, Aurora!"
The once warm black hair shed like a thin sheet of dead skin to reveal a stark white hair in its place. Aien's once amber eyes turned into a more crimson color with crimson cracks formed under his eyes. Additionally a menacing dark red aura of Reiatsu can be visibly seen wrapped around Aien's body. "Now." Aien's voice sounded like it echoed like there was a second voice to his speech before he jumped into the air at a x3 natural speed, leaving trail of physical energy of his dark presence, and proceeds to crash down at this strange creature as it had just turned around. Only to met with a really hard kick that's twice as powerful as this technique normally is that causes it a heavy knockback with saliva flying through the air. Causing this large, strange creature to be knocked away from Aien at one hundred meters to be exact, or would've been if the creature hadn't crashed hard at eighty meters against the thick concrete pillar holding up the beginning part of the bridge. It let out a disoriented grunt as it collapsed to the ground for almost a minute as Aien can feel the strain on his body. With him being purely physical, and a human at that; it puts a lot of strain on his body to even accumulate that kind of vigor.
Still the creature is away from Aien and is currently a bit disoriented from the force. Aien's carefully watchful eyes were eyeing at this creature in a dark intent, almost like Aien had inherited a split personality of sorts. However the creature is still alive and that strangely seems to pester young Aien. Through sheer willpower of controlling this power of his from becoming out of control, Aien took this opportunity to make an escape from this area. Moving only a bit faster than normal for however long he could, but it seems that whatever time he bought was waning by the second as the creature seems to be regaining its senses. Surely it couldn't find him if he was out of sight right? Or so he thought before he hears that familiar shriek coming dangerously close. This time he's running down the streets, and Aien tried to throw it off by running down one of the dark alleys to reach one of the back roads. However with his power active Aien is like a small beacon for those being able to sense energy that he can be detected at medium range for those at Low levels.
Flashes of claws and fangs, a glimmer of white, pulses of black. A dozen discordant and terrifying images flew past his eyes as he ran. He could hear thunderous crashes, roars, and shouts of defiance streaking past him. He ran harder. This close he could feel 'things'. Presences that ping his internal radar far more than any had so far. As he left the alleyway he nearly stumbled as another roar echoed in the night and he felt what he could only describe as a giant fireball raced towards him. His mind was screaming, danger but his eyes only registered a young man with white hair barreling down the street. He took in the boys appearance, registered the power rolling off of him and quickly worked to suppress his own.It was an instinctual reaction, but if something was chasing someone who had their ire up he wasn't going to stand out.
"Hey kid! Over here!" he shouted, beckoning to the boy before peering behind him. He wished he hadn't as he got his first view of the creature chasing the boy. It was every bit as disgustingly terrifying as he glimpsed, and it made him immediate reach for his gun. Only to remember that they were illegal here, and his cover, that of a bartender did not allow him a permit.
"Damn," He muttered before beckoning to the kid "Turn the lights off kid, your like a Macy's day balloon and we need to make like mice!"

Aien's piercing red eyes were watching what was happening before his own eyes as he ran down the dark alley. The young teen didn't need to look over his shoulder to see if whatever that creature is was still following for he can hear it loud and clear charging after him. They're moving roughly at the same pace, but this horrifying creature is just slightly faster than Aien as it slowly gains distance towards the teen. Unfortunately Aien is aware of how much longer he can maintain this rate of speed with the power he possess being released. As it wasn't much longer before he would be reverted to his normal form.
Then what appears to be a man a bit older than Aien steps into his point of view and it seemed to have broke this icy cold, menacing demeanor his aura gives off. "Hey kid! Over here!" The man shouted before he seems to be taken aback of what was following Aien. Perhaps Aien isn't crazy of being chased around the city by a predator after all, but he didn't have time for thoughts as he could feel the warm breath coming off from this raptor appearance creature. Meaning that it was dangerously close to Aien from what he can guess, and it also meant that Aien would have to do something to stop it from advancing any further. "Turn the lights off kid, you're like a Macy's day balloon and we need to make like mice!" This stranger followed up with his voice as Aien didn't notice anything between the gap since Aien was focused on trying to outrun this creature. Then Aien's crimson orbs settled on a dumpster on the side that's maybe fifteen feet away from Gabriel, and that was what he settled on being his solution to escape.
"You better start running then." Aien commented before he leapt high up in the air as the creature tried to follow him by attempting a jump to bite at the air as it was simply too low with the velocity and the momentum it was carrying. Aien should've followed that exact same law of physics, but he altered his position by performing a backflip while in the air to slow his speed before dropping heavily performing both Kazagruma and the Deonjigi techniques. First he had initiated the same technique he used to knock the creature back before by using x3 of his speed to ascend high up before performing a backflip to reduce his speed back down to how it originally was before dropping down with the same x3 of his natural speed. Doing a little bit of math with the angles and the rate of speed in Aien's head. He recalculated his descent to where Aien was aiming for the blurry creature. However the creature seemed to have learnt its lesson from last time as it hopped up on top of the wall before leaping straight for Aien with its jaw wide open to threaten swallowing Aien whole.
Favorably, with Aien's velocity and how his power was still active. Our young teen relied on his instinct after seeing how his opponent reacted by performing and front flip in the air. Almost like Aien timed it perfectly, he drops his powerful heel right on the terrifying Hollow's snout and forced the mouth shut before the mask cracked under the force. Additionally, the creature was hurled spiraling to the ground as part of the knockback effect with the Kazagruma technique. Still Aien wasn't done as he followed up by reaching out to grab this blurry creature by the tail with his right hand while performing a second front flip. With the Hollow's spiraling motion aiding Aien and both of them being flightless Aien would have no trouble pulling the creature to spin with the teen's flip. Supporting his grip by using his left hand just under the right, Aien utilizes the Deonjigi technique as powerful as he can by hurling with all of his might and with all of the other inertia effects taking ahold of the situation. Aien powerfully throws the poor Hollow straight for that dumpster as it crashed straight through the lid with a heavy loud clang.
Aien would finally touch the ground as he took precaution to slow his descent enough to where it was safe to tumble forward upon his landing in order to keep up the motion of moving forward. Assuming that Gabriel had started running, Aien would be running alongside him before Aien's power is visibly dismissed. The main factor is that dark red aura of Reiatsu of Aien's is gone now, but in the end he is back to his normal self. With his stark white hair fading away into the warm black color that is a bit damp from sweating and his once piercing glowing red eyes crawl its way into his pupil to reveal the amber eyes. It was only then when Aien noticed how much his lungs were burning from running so much before noticing how much his muscles hate Aien right now. Mustering up the strength to move past the pain, Aien kept running beside Gabriel as best as he could at the natural human speed now.
If Gabriel decided to stand still however, Aien would attempt to only briefly grab Gabriel's arm to urge the man to run. "Come on. A little further and we can hide from this thing." Aien stated just before his power waned to his normal self and the same after effects take place. What Aien isn't aware of is that Hollow actually phases into Hueco Mondo due to its mask being cracked and needs time for its mask to heal. Gabriel would be only one out of them two that has the potential of noticing this as Aien is just focused on what is in front of him. Aien has it estimated that it should take them about two more minutes at this pace to reach the other main street of Karakura, but its only going to be a matter of time before that particular Hollow comes back for revenge on Aien in particular. Although, Aien doesn't know that, but he's confident and hoping they can hide from it now that Aien isn't using his power anymore.
