Upon returning to your room, you find find a large black envelope placed on the pillow of your newly made bed. The envelope is sealed with a metal clasp depicting two snakes wrapped around each other in an elaborate knot. At your touch the seal reacts; the snakes silently uncoil before fading away into black smoke.
Within the envelope you find two objects, the first is folded piece of paper and has “Assignment” written on in silver letters. The second is a small, unsealed black envelope with no writing whatsoever. The assignment sheet reads as follows:
Gage,
You will be accompanying Theocelese and Cyrell into the deeper parts of the menos forest in search of concentrated minerals we can use to create soil suitable for the seed. It goes without saying that venturing into the forest is extremely dangerous, though the three of you should have little issue doing so together. Along with inanimate samples, I also need you to use your unique skills to hunt and preserve several menos grande. Their bones and blood will be essential in revitalizing the soil we create and filling it with organic material. You will find enclosed with this assignment, a second envelope containing a black sheet of stationary. Please include on this sheet, anything you feel you will need for this undertaking and I will see to it that it is prepared for you. Simply place the sealed envelope under your door and one of the arrancar will have it brought to me.

Gage looks around the room, it was extravagant, much more here than he would have imagined there being in Hueco Mundo. The rooms were the quality that one would expect in the castle of royalty but even so with the surroundings being so nice he could not shake the feeling that he was in Hueco Mundo and that there was an army of monstrous souls out there all wanting to eat the hearts out of every living person in the human world. Perhaps this was a bad idea. No. This in itself was a horrible idea. He had come here for what? To make something? How childish was he going to let himself be?
But still...what was that...that plant like thing. Perhaps he could spend a little time out here looking into this and if it started to get too sketchy then maybe he will back out and go home instead. No point in getting himself killed but he was already here so might as well indulge in the opportunity while it was possible. On top of that what ever 'mineral' it is that he was supposed to find, it could be that there is going to be enough of it for him to take home and look at in his workshop. He didn't have much in the way of resources from the spiritual worlds but what he did know is that everything here was chalk full of energy.
This Theocelese and Cyrell though. He was not fond of the idea that he was to work with a Arrancar, much less have to work with a pair of them. He would probably do better off working alone anyways. 'Yes. Working without having to keep one eye over my shoulder on them would probably be better.' Deciding that is what he is going to do Gage looks out the window onto the wide spread lands of the desert. The sky was still blue but there was little else to suggest life, the sand spread evenly across the barren waste land. Minerals, minerals, minerals. Gage steps one foot up on the window sill and launches himself out, his arms outspread as he falls several stories. With a flash of green Soul Communication energy he is off, nothing but a wisp of air trailing behind him to signal his Stepping off with a platform of air.
