hands of time DAY AFTER DAY, LIKE A LIFETIME AWAY, I KEEP HOLDIN' ON There was nothing to stop her progress, to halt her transcendence to her rightful place. The moment she had tasted power, smelled its sweet succulent aroma, she hungered for more. Upon her transformation she saw things in a clarity never thought possible, but he had opened up that door for her. And she would not have it closed. She had always been told that her power merely lay dormant, that she possessed something that not even her father had, she need merely to find it. This is what led her to the heart of Olympus, descending countless steps and halls to find a chamber long since forgotten, hidden from even her most trusted of warriors and scholars. It was a place meant only for Gods, and no mere mortal was granted entry to such a place. To an outsider, one not of status, it would appear as nothing more than empty space with nothing of value, but to those that understood, it was a place of pure power. It radiated through the chamber, uncontrollable, ancient power, possibly residue from the Gods of old when they once lived. Now, it served as a place that could bring even the sturdiest to their knees, if they so allowed it. She would not. Down here is where she would train, learn to harness her own power, grow, and become something that even the strongest of the Gods would marvel at. They would be awestruck, but the Gotei would shake with fear, flee from such destructive force, only to be struck down by those that towered above them. With this power, she would bring ruin to a civilization that had strived for far too long. Rounding the final corner, she stood in a large, open space. The rock was perfectly smooth all around, cool to the touch, but if one focused, they would see the leys of energy. Gold, blue, orange like fire, and several other colors all mixing. Essence of a God. She smiled as she made her way to the center. They would bear witness to her power. Her strength. This world would tremble beneath her. And every Shinigami that dared stand against her would perish in a blaze. Drawing her Zanpakuto from its sheath, she ran her fingers over its edge, her eyes becoming white, smoky. "Awaken...." Having donned only robes due to the nature of her transformation, they began to rip and tear away. Her flesh began to dissolve, shred, rip, and become something so much more. Pure, raw, power. "Destroyer of Worlds." A blind light filled the cavern as she transformed, her lower half disappearing at the waist, leaving and upper, alien like body, while chaotic reiatsu engulfed her. Everything was clear, every minute detail could be seen, the smallest of cracks that no mortal would pay attention to. She could see everything. This was only the beginning. 0000 WORDS | | TAGGED | | SHORT NOTE |

the world IS AGAINST ME, IT WOULDN'T BE FAIR OTHERWISE There was no proper way to describe what she felt, this raw, limitless power. She raised her hands in front of her face, and clenched her alien-like hands, and then unclenched them, laughing as reiatsu crackled around them. "Incredible. Absolutely incredible!" Her voice was deeper, echoey, bouncing from the walls of the cavern. Reaching out with one hand she released a burst of reiatsu, it spiraled towards the furthest wall like a bolt of lightning, striking it and leaving a permanent impression. A single movement of her hand and she could strike enemies near and far, when she was done here, there would be none to oppose her. Not in this form. She would wipe all life from the Soul Society and show them what it meant to be a God. Something they lived only in name, and not status. She had become distracted, focusing her attention on the task at hand, she was here to train, not marvel in her own power. There would be plenty of time for that later. Remaining in the center of the cavern, she narrowed her eyes and once more raised a hand towards the furthest wall. In a dream she had been shown what her release was capable of, the destruction it could wreak, and she would replicate it. Focusing reiatsu to her finger tips, she released a large beam of reiatsu out and towards the scorch mark she had left earlier, from there she dragged it and traced it along the wall, carving the sigil of Olympus into the rock. It was not a difficult ability to perform, a basic beam of reiatsu released in a singular, focused, blast. However she knew there could be more done with it. Lowering her hand and turning to the opposite wall, she stared at it for a moment. Then in a sudden and swift motion, she raised both hands and released a massive wave of pure reiatsu, equal in size to a cero, but with far more chaotic energy. It shredded the ground as it traveled, slamming into the wall and shaking the very foundation of the room. If she had a mouth to smile with, there would be one on her face. Still, it was not nearly good enough. In this state, reiatsu itself became her weapon. The ultimate offence and defence. Elements held no merit in battle when reiatsu could simply overpower it. Holding her hands up in front of her, as if grasping each end of a football, she imagined a weapon in her mind. A large hammer, complete with spikes on each side of it, capable of doing serious damage. Fatal, if struck in the proper place. Reiatsu crackled and sparked between her hands, and in seconds, what she saw in her head, came to life in the physical world. Gripping the hammer she swung it around her head and slammed it into the ground, cracking it and sending shockwaves throughout the cavern. Simple, but effective. Throwing the hammer off to the side, she was done. She required more complex, and powerful techniques if she truly wished to devastate the Gotei. 0000 WORDS | | TAGGED | | SHORT NOTE |
