Halloween Event?

We did have a "Trick or Treat" event once where everyone sort of 'out-of-character' makes a one-shot post of going up to a mod's house for candy. I actually really enjoyed that event, as it was fun to read some of various characters' reactions, and the good old touch of breaking the fourth wall in some aspects. I'm also totally down for ideas like these; seasonal events and so forth, but they're always hard to implement only because staff tends to fall behind (not an insult/downplaying workload/complaint) on a lot of work on the site due to RL issues and so forth.

But... this is actually the second post I've made in relation to certain "events" and staff running them... which makes me wanna hop into a separate thread altogether since my sudden idea could potentially greatly benefit the site in these types of situations; a site-wide event coordinator, or rather, coordinators. Like, a section dedicated not just to plots, but actual applications for special "Events" that would be site wide. Yea, we have the "Site-wide plot" sort of thing, but that requires so many players and so much planning, whereas a situational event, seasonal event, one-shot-post event could be seen as something entirely different...

Ok, so I'm rambling off a bit from the original idea so I'll save the rest of that for a separate thread.

I'm totally down for something like this. Contests and consecutive posts are usually what tend to kill events rather quickly though, just because, again, of real life issues and so forth for people similar to me, who can't always post as frequently as other players. Nevertheless, Halloween events are a thing and should always continue to be a thing. So yea, I'm in \o/

I remember when I made a horror solo thread/plot...

...for last Christmas.

I feel like we'd be a bit limited in the "horror" genre with PG-13 status tho.
