Through each battle boredom constantly grew. Humans without spiritual gifts stood little chance against Justin; Even without Utopia Breaker Justin withstood getting directly shot by guns, they hardly stung anymore. However, as Justin's power grew so too did new, and stronger, enemies appear. What attacked him, and his partner Gage, wasn't something Justin took lightly. Their strength easily matched Justin's individually yet together surpassed. A split moment without focus could leave Justin dead, his first thought was blasting them away with Night Break however without good ground Night Break's own shockwave would send him flying into Gage without good ground. He wasn't in a position for that.
The next idea was utilizing Soul Communication, softening the ground beneath their feet so to cause the single enemy in front of him to fall down, granting Justin a chance to counterstrike. But that had problems too. With arm pushed back, axe blade sliding into his neck Justin had to reposition his arm slightly to stop it but his situation was getting worse and worse the more he thought of what to do. "Damn-" He yelled, causing a weak explosion from his right shoulder, thereby sending the halberd on his shoulder flying upwards. This way he wouldn't cause himself to go back or down although the blade did cut into his ear some.
Suddenly, still locked with the other two, Justin found himself pulled by Gage and forced down. The three weapons, clashed together. "Idiot!" Justin glared at Gage but quickly retracted his statement silently by looking away. With a powerful spin of earth Justin dodged the scythe blade and extended his feet, with hands on ground, to kick the two he was fighting onto their rears. Knife tossed as he spun back to his feet, the blade nailed one in the skull and he grabbed the other by its head with Utopia Breaker, crushing the head.
Gage stands hunched over, winded and bleeding from his abdomen where a punching dagger had caught his side unawares. While he was in the middle of spinning was struck so the blade did not go too deep but the rotation of his body did make the cut long, more then six inches long. His body was resilient, resistant enough to stop a sledgehammer blow to the head but in front of him the two hand to hand fighters stand side by side, all the melee weapon users having been taken down. These two though were playing off each other, attacking while the other was defending, striking in the gap of the others strike so that Gage was truly being tested. His face was bruised, his lip split with his ribs on his right side severally bruised if not broken from a massive barrage that he took when he happened to get one of them into a head lock, half a moment from cutting its head off.
He had been at this for over five minuets, his group of six on his side narrowed down to these last two. Justin, behind him, seemed to be pushing himself just as much. It was not long ago that Justin was having trouble fighting against some local thugs but now here he was, fighting toe to toe with him on the battle field. Gage had no real idea of how he was fairing back there but it must alright as he was still up and moving. "How you doing buddy?"

Tatted attire and sticky skin covered with sweat; Dust clung onto Justin's sore body while laying still. Arms and legs laid out as though he just got done with an intense workout with heavy, rough, breaths between chuckles. "Hot damn, that was intense!" His words were not filled with just happiness nor sorrow. A thorn within his heart slowly began blooming into a rose. A warmth stretched across his being washing over his heart filled with madness and pride. Justin glanced towards Gage, using his arms as a prop behind himself to remain sitting up with now crossed legs. "Let's do it!"
A sudden outburst with hands slapping together, upper body now leaning forwards. Though what did Justin have on his mind? He was simply speaking on raw emotion without much thought. But, that was Justin at his happiest. "Let's start a Guild, like in RPGs. I wanna get some revenge on those creeps, show them we Humans are something to be feared! What do you say Gage!?" Justin gave a thumbs up already giving his approval on the subject. Course, there was a lot of rules and regulations to attend too at some point but that could be dealt with later on.
Who talks like that? Gage was winded, his body bruised and bleeding from the heat of battle and the chaos of the skirmish. His hands were shaking, not from fear but from the subsiding adrenaline, its effects leaving him emotionally frayed. He was like a bare nerve, happy that it was over and that Justin had made it out of the fight alive while at the same time he was happy that he was still feeling something, almost anything being welcome over the bleak red curtain that seemed to be covering his face over the past few weeks. "Yeah, me and you. We got it." Gage meant it, he had not really worked with anyone in some time, Elan having passed away from a Holer attack leaving him in a place of solitude that he did not recognize. He had been there before but he was ignorant of the other options, the joy that was possible just from having reliable company that you can share your experiences with.
Sitting forward Gage lets his face hang down out of sight, his hair covering his eyes as they slowly swelled with tears. He was blinded by rage, the hunt for someone to blame for the attack pushing him into a hunt for the heads of Hollows and Shinigami alike but he knew better in the back of his mind. The shinigami did not provoke the hollow. They were targets as well and that meant that they, while not allies, were at least the enemy of his enemy. "So what do you think that we could call ourselves?" Gage stands, brushing himself off, the pain in his elbow settling back in.
"Don't know. We'll come up with something, eventually." The young man's left hand remained stationed at his right arm. Whatever power swelled inside before calmed although Justin's current state prevented much movement. Any further spiritual activity might break him thus he began walking back towards his forest cave. "I think I'm going to travel. You up for it? Could be fun, adventure and what not. Ah, I need time to think." Justin cracked his neck and tapped the ground beneath his bare feet. He chuckled, wondering when his shoes got destroyed but no matter; He utilized Soul Communication beneath his feet and used it to carry himself through a large leap.
The leap used the last bit of spiritual power he had left. With tank empty, Justin needed to rest. It would take him more than a few days to completely recover but he had all the time in the world now. There wasn't anything left for him in Karakura Town, and he just needed to take care of Natsumi then he could be along his merry way. Though what should he do with her? He questioned himself. There was a lot to think about and not so much to think about at the same time.
"Sure, sounds good to me." Justin held his right arm as if it was in pain or if he wanted to some how restrain it should it develop a mind of its own. He seemed as beat up as Gage himself was, but neither of them seemed to be in any kind of emergency state, their wounds being more superficial. At least superficial to their own eyes, the doctors that end up treating them most likely thinking that they were struck by some kind of car on the highway. "No I think I need a breather. I was just checking the streets to see if they were safe. I really should get back and take care of my things back home but you know where to find me when you feel better." Gage felt exhausted, his body beaten and bruised, needing decent levels of rest before he would be able to do anything comfortably in the streets again. Looking around the ground Gage takes his time though, using the hunters knife that he keeps sheathed behind his back to pry loose the small gemstones embedded in the chests of the half hollow half fullbringers on the ground. They would need some time to be looked over but he would find out what they were and what created them. It was unusual that some kind of hollow beast was able to create themselves from the clashing energy in the air, mixing with the energy that Gage and Justin were putting off. It was actually a miracle that something worse did not show its face and attack them while they were distracted.
