Sparring Partner (Training)

As he waited for what seemed like hours hiyashi decided to just forget about it and just train tomorrow. "Ugh this is so frustrating,I just want one person to help me improve my swordmanship!" he shouted angrily



Sigh* "well i guess i'll come back at a better time" he said under his breath

As he stepped out the training room he heard something as if someone was clashing swords with eachother, "What was that?" he said, curious he decided to find the source of the sound.
A few minutes later he sees a group of shinigami fighting what appears to be a woman, clearly much more skilled than them.
He couldn't believe his eyes, "She completely disarmed those guys without even breaking a sweat" Just who is she? he said subconsiously
"I need to know more about her, find out what makes her so strong.

He didn't want to interrupt her but he needed a sparring partner badly.


"Excuse me" hiyashi said nervously i'm looking for a sparring partner to practice my swordmanship i was wondering if you could help me?
My name's Hiyashi by the way what's yours?

He waited for a response from the woman...

Hiyashi heard the words spoken from the woman and replied with a serious tone "Alright then i won't hold back.

He began unsheathing his sword, and athough he was going to be outclassed he believes that with Jishin he could accomplish anything.
He held onto his zanpaktou's grip tightly and began to utter these words "Alright here i come!" he shouted as he started to shunpo around the woman and attempted to attack her from behind hoping to gain the upper-hand.

Hiyashi was always the type of person who felt invincible once he has confidence, it does help him in a few situations but in this one however he was clearly outclassed. He didn't even think about how the woman moves or what her swordmansmship techniques can do to a mere shinigami. "Take this!" He shouted as he began to thrust his sword towards the female, hoping to atleast attack her blind spot (If she had one). Unfortunately, the woman responded by parrying his sword to the side with her own, he made a critical mistake on his part. Always underestimating his opponents, and not focusing on being a more tatical fighter.

"Dammit, why didn't i see her, i was for she was wide open, has she been predicting my movements this whole time?" He questioned himself. He could feel his sword simply fly past her as if he was attacking the air rather than her.
He now noticed the hilt of his sword was being grabbed by the woman and attempted to pull back but he was too slow. The woman was going to prepare a counter-attack and he didn't have time to react. "How could i be so careless?!" He uttered to himself angrily

Hiyashi felt himself being pushed back as the woman used her right hand to push him back and away from the circle. He tried to cushion the blow but fell to the ground. "Why didn't she just end it there?,did she not want me to feel pity for myself?" Hiyashi questioned himself. As the woman told hiyashi her name he wanted that name to be rememberd into his mind, hoepfully once he gets strong enough he may one day try to go all out rather then basic sparring.

As Koza said she wasn't going to use her sword, hiyashi was dissappointed but he'd use this oppurtunity to improve his swordsmanship more efficently rather then being easy defeated in one go.
He decided to come up with a battle strategy, although his opponent was unarmed he wasn't going to jump in blindly like he did earlier. He took koza's advice and thought about it "There will always be someone stronger then you Hiyashi, it is better to approach all threats with that in mind or you might lose your life for it.” "Alright then...." he said subconsiously

As he decided to take a different approach then last time since that ultimately resulted him in having his hilt grabbed, "Let's see i tried attacking her from behind and that didn't work, but what if i attack her from above?" No she'd be expecting that " hiyashi kept thinking of many battle strategies to overcome his opponent despite her not using her weapon. He decided the best course of action was too attack from above in a vertical position.
As he grabbed his hilt he uttered this words "Alright the here i come!"

Even though he's lacking in the speed department, hiyashi decided to shunpo all around the room hopefully to confuse her and then swung his sword verically above her.

As he attacked koza he realized yellow reitasu coming off of her, as he noticed his sword and body was floating he was shocked "What that's impossible!" he said subconsciously. As koza put hiyashi down and told him about reiatsu,
Koza was right, his reitasu was like a fire, always flaring wildly never having a chance to dim down. He also took koza's words into account. What's the point of a sneak attack if your exposing yourself out in the open?

He took a light sigh and said "You're absolutely right,every-time i try to attack an enemy my reitasu always flickers almost similar to an adrenaline rush" he told Koza
He wasn't really surprised, he wasn't that good a hiding his reitasu hell even sensing others for that matter especially when in a fight or in this case a sparring match. "He wondered if that's why he's always seen so easily despite fighting shinigami of lower ranks.
He looked at koza and asked "Can you possibly give me pointers on how to control reitasu?" He asked curiously

As koza demostrated her reitasu, hiyashi couldn't be but shocked. Although it was only reitasu, he'd never seen one that loomed a dark aura or even had a stench of corpses it almost made his nose burn.
"So reitasu ties in with emotions huh?" Hiyashi said to himself
As koza went in-depth about how to control/sense reiatsu he was very intrigued, as if he was reading a book filled with information he never knew existed. He was also suprised that an individual could sense a person's presence just by making them show their emotions.

He never knew that koza's way of sensing reitasu was by using a string, he'd just assumed she sense it the natural way, but she uses it is very clever which he liked. "I'd have to admit, but the way she uses it makes it unique in its own way, i wonder if i can come up with my own method as well"

"Let's resume our sparring" hiyashi replied
As he shunpo'd back to give koza and him some space, he decided to use what koza lectured him about to improve his swordmanship and also control his body and mind.
"Calm and collective huh?" He said to himself.
As he gripped his sword, he inhaled his breath and slowly closed his eyes. Making a mental image in his head, stay calm hiyashi, just concentrate...concentrate.br]
