"Do you think I'm pretty" Vee said cheerily as blood spurted up into her face, followed by a muffled scream. "Ow" she frowned at the man beneath her. "You kicked me" another flick of her wrist, and more screaming. The alleyway was not that far from a busy street, which worked with her as the bustle of the city smothered his screams. As well as the rag in his mouth. His limbs and forehead held down by large men hidden in the dark, the light from above a door nearby the only thing to see by, but enough to see the fear on the mans face and the happiness on the girls. Her right hand trailed blood over his bare chest, and her left held a straight razor. Another flick of her wrist made a shallow cut in his collarbone, blood washing over his shoulder. She giggled.
Someone said that someone heard that someone wrote about someone knowing about someone calling someone about a thing that someone's nan told a guy that his girlfriend told her uncles friends roommate that this guy knew something about a guy who was running a rival drug operation. Good enough for Vee, and so she had the guy brought to this alley for a nice, calm chat. Unfortunately he declined her nice girl act, she tried to be nice, she tried to ask sweetly. But he just had to ignore her, instead talking to one of the men and thinking they were in charge. She recalled "But you're just an ugly girl" were his words. Or possible "Good to meet you." she got those two mixed up sometimes.
The point was that he was screaming, it was a beautiful night, there was blood everywhere and she was slightly turned on by the whole thing.

There was word both on the streets and in the schools nearby that an 'up and coming' drug dealer was starting to take over the city. It was not a lot yet but supposedly the area that she claimed as her territory was quickly expanding. Gage happened across this word by a young man that helps him in his shop every now and then, speaking of a woman devil that had a heart to make Satin cry. Normally Gage spent his time out of this kind of business as it lacked that 'supernatural' spark that drew his attention but word was out that she was a cold blooded killer and she was just at the verge of moving into his side of town. Well that is not okay.
Gage wandered town for a little while passing information about to a few people that a very specific pedophile in town knew about another drug pin coming to town. If the devil woman found the bait before he could find her then any blood spoilt wouldn't make him lose any sleep. Leaving a small tracker I'm the man's sore he keeps an eye on him with his GPS until he final makes his way into a deserted alley. Either he was getting another mark or the woman had found him. Either way he would have to do something.
After rounding a corner and coming face to face with a low key murder scene he pulls a pack of cigarettes out of his pocket and lights one up as she makes him a show, a nasty cut to the collar bone making the man give out a muffled cry off pain. On any normal occasion he would have felt bad but this man was special. "Ahem, you busy?" Gage takes a good pull on the death stick before looking at the impressive entourage that she travels with.
Vee turned at the voice, seeing the silhouette of the man, face vaguely lit up by the cigarette but not enough to get exact detail out, just that there was detail there. All she knew about this man was that he had a face, which was not as useless an information as you would think considering some of the people Vee had met. Her face wet with blood, she smiled widely at the newcomer "Not at all, you must be here for the party, you are either going to have a really fun or really bad time, depending on who sent you the invitation." she said in a sing song voice. She was terrible at these little interactions, always saying the wrong words or too many or too few words, but practice makes perfect, and she was in no rush to be anywhere. Her head nodded, the men either sides hands wandering slowly into their pockets where guns were hidden, ready to react if things went south.
She admired the mans calmness, he was either very sure she would not attack and/or kill him or very sure she could not attack and/or kill him. But both of these choices could be fun, she knew she had to die some day so why not to this man. The man beneath her whimpered, her finger going to his lips without looking, but her head tilting back slightly "Shhhhh". Rolling her eyes at the new man in a sort of 'can you believe how rude this guy is' look that he should make a noise during her conversation. She was filled with adrenaline and stank of blood, which was a bad mix for someone, especially someone with her splattered history. She heard a click, the mens guns were ready, one hand still holding the man down, and the other ready for action.

It was a poorly lit alley, the shadows hiding most of the details on everyone but Gage instantly recognized her. The demon woman who was so elegantly carving her way into this mans heart with a blade. "I suppose that really you are the one who invited me. I don't really play these hide and go seek games so you should feel special that I went out of my way to find you. Even if I am late for the party." With the slightest of gestures she signals for the guards at her sides to get ready, their hands slowly drifting into their pockets. Snapping his fingers a small spark of green light leaps out from his hand and arcs through the air until it sinks into their pockets, guiding themselves all the way into the firing pin of the hidden guns. Shortening the firing pin by an eighth of an inch it would render the weapons useless leaving the men basically harmless.
"So you have made a name for yourself. Rumors on the street that you are not next 'don' of the underworld. What ever makes you happy in my books. Just keep in mind that you are to stay out of my side of town. I won't have some blood hungry gang running around selling drugs and guns, regardless of how quick with a blade 'queen pin' seems to think she is." Gage pulls on his cigarette and tosses it down so that the embers sizzle in a murky puddle. "Now I could threaten you, beat your men and run you out but that would not fly in the long run unless I got your entire organization and frankly I don't have the time. However I do have money. So what is the going rate for you to keep an eye on a district and not allow any sales there?"
She adopted an amused expression during his rather manly speech, possibly overdoing it a little. A not so veiled threat, flattery, then a polite asking, this guy really did have his tongue in order, and in check, which she liked. Vee, like all girls responded well to being spoken to nicely, and as a business lady would, she debated the pros and cons of the situation. That green light had done something and this guy was no fool, so either these men were about to fall over dead or the guns would melt from their pockets. Either way, it showed her what she was dealing with. It was a state of secrecy that her men never find out how weak she really is, she had seen some of the people out there in the world she ignored, people who could turn your hair white with a glance and kill you with a blink. She chose to ignore it, move away, avoid it and above all, avoid confrontations with those in it. Hence the Rhetoric.
Vee smiled at him, standing up and brushing herself off, only to come up with more blood than before. Harrumphing good-naturedly, she kicked his leg, and the men behind her dragged him away. She was done here, for now anyway, he would be taken somewhere quiet for the remainder of his interrogation then disposed of. This deal took precedence, waiting with her hands on hips and head tilted down, listening to the shuffling, gentle moaning and occasional gasps getting further and further away. Then finally letting out a sigh and raising her head like she had finally decided. When of course, she had decided minutes ago, there was no choice, but she had to make it seem like it was her choice to not fight. Like this was a business deal that she could not lose. Things were so much easier when she could beat people into agreeing with her. She nodded upwards "I have money estimable sir, your numbers will not sway me." Brushing at her forehead and moving an imaginary hair out of her eyes, she looked up at him slightly sideways as if a thought had just struck her. "What I need is contacts, people that can get a tough job done right when the shmucks I have on the payroll ain't got the balls or...spiritual, ahhh, competency" letting her own powers flare out so he got the terrible press on words.
She walked closer, voice getting lower to match the distance as if she was imparting a secret she could get taken out for. "Two favours" bouncing on her heels and looking him dead in the eyes, raising her left hand and waving it up and down in a fluid, playful motion. "To be called in at my convenience, nothing life threatening if you are as tough as you act" throwing in a wink "And I will keep trouble, dealings of illegitimacy and trafficking away from yours and your neighbours doorstep." she hoped she had delivered it right, maybe too much movement? Maybe not enough, she might not have seemed carefree enough. Chastising herself for overthinking it, she brought herself back to the moment, and hoped he had not said anything she missed.

Gage's face does not smile, if she would like to accept his deal then he would have to take it. He could hunt down her crew, every single one of them but time and effort were not something that he had in excess. Taking his pack of cigarettes out of his pocket again he taps them in his palm,"Two favors...fine." Pulling out one he lights it with his silver lighter and takes a long pull, offering the pack to the rather attractive, mildly crazy girl in front of him. If she takes one he would light it for her, slipping the pack back into his pocket.
"That means all of east Naruki's middle district from 25th street to 42nd street are off limits. While we have this contract in place you and I, we don't draw arms on each other, we don't play games to back stab each other. No behind the back hits on each other, nothing or we will both use our full bring in our best attempt to kill ourselves. You keep an eye on my side when I am gone and I have two favors for you. Just keep in mind that I don't kill kids and I don't play games with the Soul Society. Deal?" Gage reaches out his hand to shake hers, green sparks of light tickling his fingertips as he offers her a real deal. One that their very souls will attempt to uphold if their conscious minds happen to be too weak to maintain the deal. His face shows a smile, one that expresses his pleasure with this deal, leaving just enough time for her to add in a small addition to the rules if she chooses.
Vee accepted the cigarette with a polite inclination of the head, flicking her head back and wiping blood from her mouth to avoid it getting damp. She had not had one of these in a long time, not so long she had forgotten how to use one, she was just used to stronger narcotics and drugs. Being a drug lord had the perks of what she liked to call the taste test, going through her exports and making sure, for her customers sake, that it was good stuff they were sending. So smoking something she knew would not make her high was an alien but uncomfortably comfortable feeling. The man lit it for her, then stated his terms. She nodded as he spoke, drawing on the cig and letting the smoke run up her face. She sighed with satisfaction while weighing up his idea.
She was no stranger with death deals, but this seemed to be the real deal, no shirking or backing out, loopholes or threats. That hand buzzed with energy and she knew one shake would bind her irrevocably to the contract, either that or he was just showing off how casual his powers were. All she could do that casually was sing a little, and so making note to herself to learn more casual powers in the future. She shook his hand. "I have no idea who the soul society is but as long as they stay out of my turf and out from under my nose we should be fine." This much was true, she had heard the name and assumed they were a gang, now he mentioned them, she began to wonder if it was an actual gang who owned his turf and he was protecting it by making this deal. They could have sent someone who actual lifts some weight to make a deal, and this kind of steel she was not ready to truck with. Vee had noticed she started to speak in gang gibberish that the thugs talked in when she thought too much, completely forgetting to release the mans hand.
When her hand slid out of his, it left a thin trail of blood on his palm and a light brown contact card with her information on it. Her personal information. If this deal was as serious as he made it out and she suspected it to be then there was no point in reservation. "Just let me know when you are leaving and I will send someone to mind the cats." She smiled warmly at him. She liked this. It was not often she met people in that world, and she had stayed out of it for the preservation of the comforts of this world. But something about that presence, that feeling that she was not alone, that the big fish in the small pond mindset was all wrong. And it did not make her scared that she was a small fish in a big sea, because she had found someone to swim with. Or something like that. There was just one last thing.
He had said fullbringer, which meant he was one too. This was an opportunity she did not want to pass up if she could pull it off. "So..." tapping her foot on the ground. "..Fullbringer eh?" she nodded like it meant a lot more than it did. Then looked up at him, and for the first time sounded nervous, out of her comfort zone, loving it, but obviously out. "Show me yours I'll show you mine?"

Gage watches her face, the smoke weaving its way up her features, curving its way around her head slowly to be carried away by the slowest of breezes. A grin on her face sends him a message that she approves of his conditions, some how not really hesitating at the threat of death by suicide should they break the rules. Either she has no idea what he was talking about or she really was as crazy as she seemed. The thought crosses his mind that maybe, just maybe this is a bad idea. Should might find something for him to do that is outside his normal range of...comfort. "Well Soul Society tend to not stick their nose into your type of business. Just keep your nose in the land of the living and you will be fine."
A small trail of blood stretches between their hands as they release the shake, green soul communication energy arcing between them like static energy. The deal was made, what ever it was being sealed with a promise that their souls would uphold to their very core. "Yeah, well I don't have any cats to keep me company so you'll be alright there. Its just me and my work so if don't be surprised if my door happens to be locked a lot of the time." She wasn't the first that he had met, being the second female full bringer to find her way to his town, but she was by far the most interesting. Something about her just seemed to pique his interest, making him more and more curious to know more about her.
"That is a cute sentiment but I am going to have to pass," Gage like that she had offered to show him her full-bring but he was beyond that point in his life right now. She couldn't know what had happened but a small flicker of pain on his face would point out that it might be a bit of a touchy subject. "I appreciate the offer, but that kind of thing sounds more like a second date kinda base. I don't kiss on the first date." Turning he flicks the last bit of his cigarette into the puddle with a sizzle. "Until then though stay out of too much trouble," Gage looks back at the puddle of blood from the man and back at her again. "Your not the only one who has a knife and I would hate to find you strapped to my table."
She swallowed her disappointment and nodded like she understood, finding it hard to speak, she just blurted out "Yeah, no, sure yeah, I understand" and completely failing to seem nonchalant about the matter. The nerves in her stomach had settled though, the moment was over, and while saddening, it had not really gone badly which she was grateful for. She could have offended him with the comment, she had no idea how personal it was to ask to see ones fullbring, but now she thought about it, it was a close thing to the heart. He was right, it was not a first date kind of thing, 20-20 hindsight and all that, but she knew for next time.
His wishing her wellbeing brought her back to the moment, the feeling in her stomach sinking and depression flooding over her. The smell of copper blood, once sweet and favourable, now stank with regret and repulsion. Her feminine mindset kicking in as she kicked herself, what kind of a man likes the smell of blood on a girl, he probably thought she was a disgusting brute of a girl. Nothing more than a blood thirsty *sniffles* ugly, wiping her nose, stupid girl with no manners and- There she was. Vee sprung back to life as it sensed an opportunity, forcing herself to look chipper she grinned as he walked away. Coughing lightly to stop her voice breaking mid comment "Careful what you wish for mister. I don't know that I wouldn't mind being strapped to your table." just to throw a little of who she was meant to be back in there. She was grateful she managed to get the sentence out without breaking, letting the cigarette fall from her hand as sensation came back to her blushing face. The taste of smoke had bit her tongue, drawing too quickly in the moment but she had not noticed. She stood there in the flickering darkness, and watched the man walk away with a look on her face that had never been there before.
