Have you ever sat on the deck of a borrowed sea-front property, cup of tea in hand, fresh pancakes steaming, dressing gown and sun glasses. Then watched the sun peak over the horizon, the streaks of orange spill over the reflective water, light fills the world and everything gets all warm and fuzzy. A squad of lackeys at your back armed to the teeth with the biggest and shiniest weapons money can buy, complete silence but the wind, the waves, and the tinkle of metal on ceramic as the tea was slowly stirred. A slow, peaceful violin starts behind you, heralding the arrival of a new day, dramatic yet restrained, vibrant yet smooth. A perfect morning?
Vee has.
For this was her dawn into the new day, she loved Sunday's. The chime of the morning church bell would ring in a few hours, the commuters would rush around, so many people living so many lives. It amazed her that so many people could be so complex and yet you never know what secrets people could have. Some have bigger ones than others, some have the exact same secret as everyone around them, but convinced they are unique, special, that they experience it in a way that no one could ever understand. Vee was glad she was such an open book. It allowed her to have no secrets, she kept nothing from anyone who asked. She had the power and the influence to do what she wanted and no one mortal could stop her even if they knew the blueprints of her plans. Anything was worth paying for the price of freedom, even privacy.
Her hand waved, a copy of it appearing by the cart of pancakes and pushing it closer to her deck chair. The copy stopped, holding the cart still as it reached her, then disappearing. She smiled, lifting the plate onto her lap, then frowning at her angle. She looked up at the men and coughed sweetly. "Would you dears mind sitting me up? I cannot enjoy my pancakes like this or I may choke."They hurried to her back, lifting it up and slotting it in a higher place so she could eat properly. Calmly slicing through her pancakes, when a shout and footsteps came racing towards her, it seemed the people she 'borrowed' the house from had escaped the cupboard. She snapped her fingers, guns coming up and opening fire at someone she could not see, a thud could be heard as it went down to a trickle then stopped. She smiled again, wafting the pancakes around to stop the smell of coppery blood from ruining her appetite, but nothing could stop the blood from washing under her chair. She would need to finish and move quickly. While she had influence, unneeded publicity could be dangerous, and gunfire had been known to attract certain things with more bite than a smoky bear.
Techniques used:
Name: Interpretive Dance Class: Hand to Hand Tier: I-III Type: Offensive Range: 50m Description: Vee's movements are copied anywhere in the range of the tech in a reishi form. This can only effect one limb at a time and for no more than two posts each and at the max speed for the used tier, the lower the tier, the faster they can be used in succession. The location of creation and movement after that is decided by the user, for example: Vee holds her hand out and grab thin air, 70m away, a hand closes around a coffee, the decision is then hers to move that hand, however not the position it is in. The way it is when it is created is how it must stay until the tech is over, however these limbs do not have joints and so attempts to move or bend the fingers are futile unless with a tech of equal or greater tier in which case the limb breaks.

Cyrell had initially been drawn to the hollow reiatsu, but after not too long, she had realized that it was not a hollow at its source. She had seen people like this before; at Seran's place in Las Nochas. Or Theo's. She hadn't really got a full handle on what the situation was there, but whatever. This one was alone. Interesting. They had appeared as regular humans before. Regular humans with hollow reiatsu. Would she even know what she was? She stepped through the house- her detection of Victoria had been via her reiatsu sense. In fact, she had been a great distance away, and had only very briefly noticed the flashing of some kind of spiritual energy. She had sat, cross legged, and focused. Reaching within herself, she had felt the calm descend over her, as her "vision" expanded outwards. The world was awash with life. All things gave off reiatsu but it was notable only in a few beings. She reached the edge of where she had been able to sense but the presence was further.
Cyrell stilled her mind further and further, and it was when there was another source of reiatsu that she was able to see the direction and probe further, very gently. When she finally got some idea of where the person was, she stood to her feet, and slowly made her way towards them, on foot, on the ground, her own reiatsu well hidden. She looked closely and was able to follow the spirit threads that this presence gave off; the reiraku. After a few minutes, she entered the beachfront property via the front door and entered, casually stepping over the downed body.
Visible through the doorway was the silhouette of a person sat indolently in a deck chair. The air was awash with blood, as was the floor, and so Cyrell lifted her dress and floated but an inch above the ground in order to avoid it.
"Very messy." she commented, as if to herself. Unless Victoria had been straining her reiatsu sense or had looked around, she might not have been aware of the arrancar's presence. Her zanpakuto was hidden. In fact she would look exactly like a normal human if it weren't for the mask made of bone over a quarter of her face, the distinctive mark of an arrancar.
Vee paused mid pancake "You must be mighty brave or mighty stupid to walk in here so blasé." her other hand waved and guns came up on both sides pointed at the girl. Her men were so well trained, cheap, stupid, strong. It was so difficult to get good assistants, they tended to die faster than they earned their freedom which was not really Vee's fault. After all, what was the point in her hiring people if she had to do everything herself because they could not. Vee logic for a happier Naruki. She finished the bite, delicately sliding it off of the fork and breathing in heavily. Coppery blood filled her nose, taking in the sweet scent that kind of turned her on, there was a day for everything. And today was blood day. If any of her guards survived the day she would sleep with them all at once, she was a busy girl and had no time for independent attention.
Her foot slid off the chair, the bare sole dipping in the warm blood, making her body shiver. But she ignored it and shook her head with a small smile, bringing her head up while turning towards the door. Pretending she was trying to be sly but obviously looking up at the man near the door taking in his body. Yes, tonight could be fun. Not satisfactory. But fun. Then looking at the newcomer. "How rude of me, where are my manners. Victoria, charmed to meet you my dear. And who may you be?" she padded over slowly, drifting from side to side and speaking in a soft voice, then a small twirl and a curtsy to her guest. She held her hand out slightly tilted to offer the girl the choice of a handshake or to place a kiss on her hand. This choice would only mildly change her opinion, she was in a different mood today and on the first look she could see this was someone not to mess with. The mask was an interesting touch, either an unfortunate fashion choice or half monster, and the floating meant either she was a Houdini or more likely, someone of the spirit world. She only hoped the girl was here out of curiosity instead of duty or nature.

Cyrell blinked, looking at the guns. Nothing that could hurt a spiritual body like hers; there was no reiryoku involved, and so the bullets would simply bounce off. She watched her host checking out the body guard and Cyrell looked at them but saw no more than a normal human. Somewhat confused, Cyrell simply watched Vee get up and walk towards her, introducing herself with a lot of pleasantries. She cocked her head slightly, looking at the girl getting her feet all dirty. She didn't say anything for a while, letting Victoria curtsy, and taking her hand in a brief but firm handshake.
"Cyrell." she said by way of introduction, not really sure what else she wanted to say. She was curious about these humans with hollow reiatsu, but to ask about someone's species upon first meeting them was seemingly rude, or so she had discovered. Best to avoid that then. She shuffled awkwardly in the air, avoiding wringing her hands. "Lots of blood." she said shortly, hoping that Victoria's flowery language was an indication that she was a talker and would elaborate on what was happening. She cast another glance as the gun-toting people around Victoria. Hopefully they wouldn't try shooting. While the bullets were harmless, the noise would be quite distressing. If this situation could be ended peacefully that would be ideal.
Vee looked down on the girls comment, drifting her hand just above the floor but still in the blood to cause large ripples. She was no biologist or bloodologist or whatever but the people who lived there were probably drained dry by now, they were so riddled with holes that she could not think they had an organ left which could be hiding any. "Yeah..." she murmured absent mindedly, tapping her foot in the blood to make small splashes but stopped when it nearly hit the floating girl. "Sorry" she sighed, looking at the girl again and relaxing her neck so it was leaning back slightly. She smiled lightly, staying like that for a few seconds then saying loudly "Why are the bodies still there?" snapping her fingers quickly and angrily while glaring at the men behind the girl. As they were dragged away she looked back at the girl, smiling apologetically.
"Sorry, awful shame that, waste of blood to be honest but still, no harm done." her eyes darting around then smiling awkwardly "Heh, kinda anyway." she moved past the girl to the indoors area, free of blood and floor of carpet. Wiping her feet on the way in and landing heavily in an armchair in front of a large unlit fireplace. "Please, take a seat, would you like something to drink?" before the girl would have a chance to respond her hand would shoot out and snap her fingers again. "Two double whiskeys, anything less than top shelf and I will kill you all." she said calmly, as if the threat was her natural way of asking for things. She spoke with an air of confidence that was used to getting what she wanted, when she wanted and how she wanted it. Which might have seemed arrogant but she had built her reputation from the street up so in her opinion she deserved to be bossy. A man came through with a tray with two tumblers and a bottle on it, Vee waved her hand towards the table in the middle of the seating area. Picking up hers and taking a sip, swishing it around in her mouth before nodding approvingly to the side. "So, what are you and what do you want?" demonstrating her trademark manners and subtlety.

Cyrell kept the blood firmly warded away with a pulse of reiatsu that drenched the room in fear for a moment, the dark, foreboding sucking away of any prospect of resistance would briefly begin to pervade the minds of all present, before Cyrell shut off the flow of her reiatsu. She watched the girl boss the men around. She wondered why humans were all so judgemental with her. This girl had killed just as many humans as many a hollow, and for seemingly no reason whatsoever. She was undoubtedly some kind of human... So why were humans all so racist against other spirits. Criticising hollows for eating them, criticising shinigami for their negligence. Arrancar got the worst end of the stick- not without reason she supposed.
Then the girl spoke of a waste of blood. A waste? What good was blood to those that did not drink it? Cyrell shook her head. So often she had seen the same 'blood-knight' style attitude among arrancar, particularly female arrancar. It was something she loathed, the normalization of that kind of violence. Violence was necessary, of course but not... Not romantic. Not something to be lusted after with starry eyes. She floated gently until the floor was clean but declined to sit and thus ignored Victoria's lounging as she asked for a drink. The whole time, Cyrell's face had been neutral, poker-straight and betrayed not a single iota of feeling. She examined the finery upon the wall, contemplating her host's questions. What was she? No-one, or nothing of consequence, surely. At least Cyrell sincerely believed that. And what did she want? Well, she wanted to know what Victoria was. That was why she had come here wasn't it?
"The name that people call me is Cyrell. Why do you have hollow reiatsu even though you are a human?" she asked, hoping that these would be satisfactory answers. She gazed hawkish at Victoria, her amber eyes glimmering with curiosity.
