A peaceful, and quiet, day sent a sense of ease washing across town. The lively, and noisy, city wasn't somewhere Superia enjoyed. Loud metal carts passed by those who preferred walking. Or maybe they couldn't afford cars and choose a cheaper alternative called public transpiration. The city's inhabitants were accustomed to tides of people. Today was just another day for normal people but an antisocial Superia preferred traveling without metal cart or sidewalks filled with noisy pedestrians. Alleyways wreaked so Superia avoided them as well. So without moving across streets, public transportation, or hidden alleyways Superia's options were nonexistent
A simple situation for most weighed heavily on Superia's mind, causing feet to drag cross pavement at a time after lunch. The Japanese were busy people who immersed themselves into their work meaning sleeking through what few people along the street weren't an issue. Well, given they didn't try striking up a conversation. Superia carried with her a bag who's fingers firmly gripped around the black bag filled with a small variety of important equipment: Note books, pencils, clothes, as well more exotic items not found anywhere naturally formed on Gaia's body.
Superia suppressed irritation through shear pride, for what was to come was more important than her social anxiety. She made way past town town deep into the woods. Of course traveling moderate for some was more of 'packing heavy' for Superia. With low physical parameters she was forced to carry a heavy bag across on her back with effort. Blut Arterie made more sense here, that twenty percent strength increase helped Superia more than Blut Vene. While her physical endurance could stand up she was more worried with how quickly stamina would give way. To her, a steady pace was better so she wouldn't burn herself out. Hopefully Superia could deal with these planned expeditions that would become routine.

Despite being well versed in Quincy lore Superia lacked physical strength. As someone who preferred books, never leaving the comfort of her humble abode, she rarely got out. Sure personal weapon and spiritual skills were top notch she lacked physical strength and stamina. A philosopher and scientist wasn't concerned with their strength however, contrary to the belief of those who knew her, Superia enjoyed nature. But there was a difference between walking around the small forest surrounding the family estate and walking up a mountain known for dangerous animals. Based off local news reports several animals grew larger than their breed allowed, strong enough where a simple shotgun wasn't enough.
Superia had known reishi concentrations were more abundant in nature. Despite taking residence outside the residential area, near a forest, she hadn't detected any abnormal reishi deposets. While Superia understood her detection skills with reishi analyzation were grand, and though she'd yet to previously travel far into the forest before, reishi concentrations attached onto her lugs. Yes, something was amiss here although the land could simply be highly spiritual. For years the local martial arts temple considered the mountain sacred, not wanting anyone inside their domain however she still proceeded but with caution. She wasn't going to let herself be caught off guard so easily.

Wild animals posed an issue Soupy could hopefully avoid. Although recent news reports, kept away from public eye, from an underground source caught Soupy’s attention. Under normal conditions animals shouldn’t grow much larger than genetics allowed, however, boars weren’t normally bear size. But, that was only one reason Soupy walked up the mountain. Reishi, being more abundant in nature, meant gathering herbs inside a highly concentrated area of reishi. But despite her thoughts on the matter a sweaty Superia had enough troubles with her heavy load.
The backpack caused this philosopher to struggle. Muscles strained with knees buckling. She nearly fell but caught herself with Grip, reishi forming around her bdy quickly to prevent herself from falling over. The telekinetic-like control allowed this. She readjusted herself so she could lean against a tree. Sweaty and thirsty, she started drinking from a water bottle. Staying hydrated was important! At least if she ran ou of water she could easily get water from nearby streams. And if needed, she’d just dig underground although she highly preferred avoiding that.
The hot forest wasn’t an issue since a cool breeze passed by but even during cool weather the body would get warmer. Soupy had a method of cooling or warming herself through a technique called Heat. By using reishi absorbed into her body she began cooling herself down. A towel from her backpack used to dry her face off then stored back, she could continue on her walk. Moving through the rough terrain wasn’t easy. Dense brush with thorns, natural trenches; Soupy simply used reishi surrounding the brush so a clear path could be made as she walked. She didn’t want to expand to much energy but her stamina wasn’t going to be an issue, not a grave one.
Since Quincy drew power from reishi located in the air, she had a far easier time doing so in places where Human influence was small or nonexistent. The highly abundant spirit particles were felt all around, clinging to her nose and lungs with each inhaled breath. Feeling slightly invigorated, Superia continued her struggling hike. Soupy’s overall plan was to forage for materials herself; Although she hadn’t done so in some time and getting what she needed from her contacts wasn’t happening in this part of the country. She didn’t have a means to contact them and she wanted to become more self sufficant with her own supplies.

The Alchemist continued walking uphill while struggling to maintain herself. Mental tasks were far easier than manual ones. But with Soupy’s brain being her greatest asset she used Heat so to occasionally cool herself off when getting warmer than what she preferred. Keeping Heat active for long periods of time would drain her reserves although she modified the power output where it didn’t. However, even then she would eventually reach a bad point. At least she could keep herself at a comfortable temp.
Though that didn’t solve her issue with carrying the weighted bag. Hands firmly gripped straps keeping them stable. They bore into shoulders although Blut Arterie’s physical defense kept her from feeling to much pain. Sweat still poured from her brw, despite being cool. She struggled to keep herself moving as she tripped and fell onto her stomach, unable to activate Grip in time. Thankfully she shifted herself in time to only fall onto her left shoulder although she did hurt it. That wasn’t good. Wincing in pain Soupy tried rubbing some of the pain out.
The problem with that was it hurt just touching but so did nt touching. Small fingers dug int pressure points, trying to find them but she struck them wrongly and only ended up causing herself more pain. It sucked, she thought to herself, but she tried to manage. Soupy sat dwn, back against tree but dared not remove the bag. She worried if she did that would be no getting it back up. Shaking her head, Soupy tended to the arm by using Grip to pull back her left sleeve, and then using Grip to pull out a cloth bandage roll as well bengay.
By hand soupy rubbed the bengay over one side of the bandage. She wasn’t really sure how much she needed, but putting bengay on one side would rub against, and into, her skin to releave some pain. Carefully, she wrapped the bandage starting at above her elbow, then slowly began wrapping it around her arm; Using only half the bandage to cover the previous rotation up to her shoulder. The wrap wasn’t fantastic, but Soupy wasn’t stupid. Just because she wasn’t medically skilled didn’t mean Soupy didn’t know how to improvise and use things some people didn’t consider. Maybe making a healing type bandage would be useful, but that was something for later.
For now, Soupy continued her hike now uphill. The rocky terrain was difficult s she had to keep her balance. Shifting her body in several different ways so to avoid falling over. The problem here, this backpack completely threw off Soupy’s center of gravity. She didn’t gripe nor complain, only thinking of the best method to solve her delima. While using Grip she could easily carry the thing to float beside this whole trip, Soupy did need to work on her physical strength. These were just the simple struggles of someone like her, best to use the brain where she lacked to aid her in her problems.
She thought and calculated, tried to get a modest positioning on her stance while she walked. Using the knees were important here but she was using her back for most of the trip, which explained the problem she had. Eventually Soupy’s adjustments to her stance and walk got to where she instinctively placed more weight on he knees. It felt weird but relieved some strain. The knees, so important. Bah, she could spit at herself for being so stupid, but now her thighs and behind muscles were tensing up more. They weren’t use to this kind of strain. Well, at least none of this would be for naught. The end would justify her pain.

The Quincy's movements became sluggish. With each rough, and heated, breath Superia drudged onward. Her tiny frame belied greater strength than she truly possessed however pain was no longer an issue. A 'second wind', as some called it, let Superia continue moderately unhindered. Her backpack felt lighter with tense muscles, once writhing, now only feeling a dull pain. Now having adjusted both mind and posture, she felt confidence swell inside granting even more resolve. After hours, midday passed by with nightfall's dawning. Time to set up camp.
What would take others hours, if not days, Superia utilized her family's techniques to carve out a small house like house at mountainside. Modestly large, easily so like that of a house. She carefully, and ever tenderly, blasted heated and froze stone while slicing where she saw fit. A nice sized home for her workshop, or what others called a lab, where nobody could bother her let alone find. Being several meters underground meant most sounds Superia made during experiments would go unnoticed by Human ears although wildlife might be an exception depending on creature.
She was content. She was happy. She faintly smiled for the first time since her long journey. Now all she needed was shelves, bedding, desk among many other homey comforts. Alas, that work was for tomorrow. For now, Superia crafted herself a makeshift bed placing sleeping bag over. She then proceeded to light a heater powered by liquid reishi often found in Ginto, albeit less refined. The small heater would keep her warm and cozy.

The night passed by without a hitch. She felt comfort inside her bosom for The Alchemist took great pride in her craftsmanship. With the coming of dawn she moved from her humble abode towards a nearby stream. She knew she must do something about the smell after such a long travel yesterday. With clothes remove in the water washing over her frame The Alchemist dried herself as well the dirty clothes that we are now clean. Something must be done about a water system. She had all the tools needed however she questioned how stable the ground beneath was.
She knew she must be careful otherwise she might damage her home and she did not want it collapsing on top of her. So with hand on ground Superia began analyzing the surrounding structural integrity. Various weak points were found while also discovering even more valuable information. She continued analzing while pondering how she might use the weak points to her advantage. After careful consideration Superia decided on causing the surrounding ground to collapse in on itself in various locations. This would force certain parts to be more supported while weaking other places she didn’t need worry with, as they were outside her domain.
Superia sent reishi lines underground and carved out several points underneth while freezing and heating up various locations to harden and soften the dirt. A small trench allowed water to flow, thereby allowing superia to ake it go into the stone portion. A filtration systemw ould be needed at some point however for now she simply tied some chains made of soul synthesized silver together to form a web. This would prevent any would be animals from coming in. plus the stone hole that connected from underneath the riverbed would allow for clean flowing water, well as clean as she could get it.
Plans were needed, more plans and more material. Not everything could be crafted from stone wood and fiber. What little Soul Synthesized Silver Superia posssessed couldn’t be used either. She needed that for crafting. But where to get them? That was going to be an issue, but she might have ideas.
