Gage listens to the soft rattle of the gates metal wheels screech on their rails as the gate slides shut, snapping locked behind him signaling that the gate was locked behind him. Pulling out his cellphone he hits the unlock button, the white screen lighting up his face in the night. His job was done but that was not too bad, as far as work goes this was an EASY job it was just at some poor hours, running from two AM to two fourty five in the morning. All he had to do was escort, intercepting any individuals that might mean to do the patron any harm. Now that he was offically delivered home though the job was done and there was nothing more to be said about it.
In all actually he was supposed to call in, another job in the waiting, so that he could make a night of this wasted day. Pulling up his dealer he was about to hit the dial button when he felt it, the energy of his patron was faint, obviously a spiritually awakened human but still so immature in their powers that they would pose no threat to anyone even if they wanted. The energy faded for a moment, shrinking faster than being blocked by building walls should allow. Looking up from his phone Gage dials in on the energy, something was shrouding it, like something or someone was masking the energy of the man he just left. Slipping his phone into his pocket he closes his eyes and concentrates, letting his mind drift closer to the house on the other side of the gate, poking and prodding with his sensing abilities to get a better picture of the house and the people in it.

Two down stairs in the main lobby, four outside including the driver who was pulling the car around to the garage for the night. A single person in the kitchen doing...something, probably getting some food for the boss who just arrived. Up stairs the man was there but fading quickly, like he was actually leaving the area though some kind of tunnel. Gage was already late, the route he took made him about fifteen minuets over drawn for the next job where he was already supposed to be. He knew that not showing up for his assigned jobs was a serious offense in the eyes of the company and if the job was taken any damages incurred for your lack of showing up would be on your shoulders.
Well I am already late but this guy is...going. Gage pulls his motorbike over to the sidewalk just outside of the gate and parks it. Gently vaulting the wall he posts up on the top of the brick wall, looking out over the large grass yard leading up to the two story mansion. Jumping down Gage quickly trots over to the wall,Just a quick look, just to make sure that this guy is alright. Reaching the base of the wall he jumps, his vertical being high enough for him to get a second jump in on the top sill of the first floor window. Vaulting straight up he grabs the edge of the roof, hanging by one hand at eye level with the window to the master bedroom. Inside though he finds something that he has never seen. Swinging back and forth he lets go of the roof at the front of his swing so that he can perch on the window sill and get a good look inside.

The room was pretty devoid of personality, the decorations in the room being more about the cost and style rather than about how much someone really liked them. Gage leaned in so that his face was almost on the glass, his breath fogging up the window as he looks left and right to find this fading energy signature of his quickly vanishing patron. There was a massive four poster bed, two sides of it having the curtains lowered and the side facing the foot of the bed pulled up so that you could still see in. On top of the bed however there was something unusual even to a spiritually awakened soul. A black boney mass of a beast was on all fours, crouched over the body of the mark, their eyes locked in a gaze of intimidation.
Gage was dumb struck, not only was this thing appearently about to eat the mark, it had no spiritual energy signature to speak of. Or at least it did not at that particular moment. Blue light flows out of the mouth of the man, whisping its way up and swirling around his lips until it was inhaled by the monster, its gaping maw suddenly dislocating for the consumption of energy. Then it happened, the flash of energy sudenly appearing as the mans life fades to nothing and the beasts own energy signature becomes apparent. It had swollowed the marks powers, soul and all similar to hollows but this one was a little different as now as the hollow had the same energy signature as the man now.

Gage grabs the top of the window seal and swings his legs out and forward so that the momentum would bowl him through the glass window. Tumbling on the ground he pops up, hands at the ready just in time to catch anything that might be attacking him. "Hey!" looking back at the beast again he catches only a glimpse of it as it turns its head back to look at him, the portal that it had summoned in an instant closing up so that Gage is left alone in the room. "Hey..."
Gage stands up and steps closer to the hole where the portal was just an instant before. It was here but there was no trace of the gate any more, at least no trace of it that he can follow. Normally when a hollow creates a Garganuta it looks like a tear in space, leading to the purple shaded dangai in between worlds before it goes to Hueco Mundo, which leaves behind a reiatsu trail that smells like hollow. This one though just smells...empty. He could smell the reiatsu in the air but it had no smell... faint like water hours before a rain storm that was about to hit.

Pulling out his phone he considers calling his boss, giving them a heads up but second guesses himself. Maybe they are not the ones that I need to be in touch with right now. Flipping through his contacts he pulls up K'vothes number, hitting the call button. The phone rang twice, Gage weaving down the street on his bike, before it cut to an answering machine that signaled that he was out of serviceable range or he was without his phone. Figures, maybe Elan would have some idea as to what that thing was. Loading down on the throttle Gage takes a hard right and curves through a red light taking a right turn.
Pulling to a stop in a nearby alley he dismounts and pulls his phone back out. Dialing up Elan he presses the speed dial '4' and waits for the ring tone. A few rings pass before Gage hears the phone get picked up, the rattle of an old style phone being pulled off the rack as she answers. He can hear her sigh on the other end of the line before taking a moment to speak," Hello? Elan here..." Gage suddenly had it dawn on him that it was ridiculously late. He should have realized that she would be sleeping.
"Hey Elan, I am sorry about the late hour but I had something come up. I need some advice."
