HISTORY
Akane's story is not one of magic and wonder, or of a dramatic broken home. She was born in Tokyo, Japan, to fairly ordinary parents. Her father was a renowned doctor, known for bringing people back from the brink of death. What Akane did not know, and did not find out until she was around nine years old, was that her father was also very well known in the "spiritual world." A human with special, mystical powers, Akane's father brought her into his world of unique spiritual "medicine" and taught her extensively about the different people that existed within this realm: Shinigami, Plus, and even the dreaded Hollow. Akane's first interaction with a Hollow came in the form of being attacked one night, with her father unleashing special offensive attacks that kept the Hollow at bay long enough for a Shinigami to arrive on the scene and reap it. Though there was a great deal of animosity between the doctor and the Shinigami, due to his habit of staying a person's naturally appointed time of death, there was no doubt a great deal of respect due to the ability he had of healing the advanced spiritual bodies of Shinigami whilst also assisting in repairing wounds sustained by their gigai. It's safe to say that Akane's father was a legend, but this legend would not last too long at the top of the hill.
Akane's father did everything he could to train Akane in his unique craft, and she would develop special, unique powers of her own because of this. Not only that, but Akane transcended her father's own skill and quickly came out as a medical prodigy. In her early teen years, she exhibited knowledge of a human's anatomy the same level a high school senior might have, and by the time she was actually in high school she had the knowledge of a college student. Well on her way to joining a university, Akane's plans would be cut short as her father fell ill. Try as she might, her advanced medical knowledge was not enough to save him and he passed away when she was only in her mid-teens. Akane learned a harsh lesson this day: You can't save everyone, you can only do what you can. As time passed, Akane gained a reputation for surpassing her father in skill, though she seemed more focus on helping spiritual beings than physical beings. As Akane's mother began to fall ill herself, Akane did everything she could to save her. Like her father, Akane's mother was on the fast track to fading away. It was after this moment that she was approached by a Shinigami from the Fourth Division. He extended an offer: He would assist in saving her mother if she would accept the offer to take part in a brand new project cooked up by the Twelfth Division and serve the Gotei 13 as a "Substitute Shinigami." Left with no choice (having denied the offer numerous times in the past as her father did), Akane accepted and went off to participate in this project while the Shinigami healed Akane's mother back to full health.
The process in which Akane became a Substitute Shinigami was rigorous, rough, and something she never expected to experience during her life. Like the other twelve that emerged alongside her, Akane's resolve and tough spiritual presence exuded her status as a prodigy and allowed her to survive this dangerous operation. Saying not a single word to Kurotsuchi, the Captain who headed the project, Akane rushed back home to find that her mother had fallen ill once more. This time, Akane used her powers as a Shinigami alongside her powers as a human, and was able to effectively save her mother. As the years went on, Akane trained her various powers given to her and would frequently make stops at the Shinigami Academy in the Soul Society to teach the budding Shinigami about how to maintain and heal their own spiritual bodies as well as the spiritual bodies of others. Akane also focused her time on joining a university within Tokyo, opting to join a medical school so that she could advance on the career path of becoming a doctor. The Shinigami gave her the moniker of Eir, referencing the Norse goddess/valkyrie associated with medical skill. Now, years later, Akane has become a severely prominent member of the Fourth Division and a teacher at the Shinigami Academy, still working to gain her doctorate and attempting to save up enough money to start her own clinic within Tokyo. Just a year ago, Akane's mother passed away of old age, leaving her to live in a run down apartment within Tokyo. It wasn't the best living situation. Only a month or so ago did she find out about the living space set aside for the members of the Crisis Core...

Name: Keikatsu (Opening Revival) * Class: Kido Tier: II - VI Type: Healing Range: <5 Meters Incantation: Unknown Description: A simple healing spell used to heal injuries. Costing Reiatsu depending on the wound, this Kidou surrounds the target in a flash of green light, before starting to heal their injuries. Some internal injuries can be healed, while injuries like cuts in the heart cannot. This technique cannot heal poisons and other ailments.
Name: Meiyu (Luminous Healing) * Class: Kido Type: Healing Tier: II - VI Range: 10 Meter Radius Incantation: Unknown Description: Taking the idea of Keikatsu, Meiyu is another healing technique that functions on an area of effect. This is able to heal up to five people around the caster. The restrictions, costs and durations for healing are the same as Keikatsu, but for each person that is within the area, the cost is not spread over everyone but for each person that needs healing. Thus this is a technique that saves time for healing multiple people, adding a total of 2 posts to each duration for each person.
Name: Ryodo #15 Shiguremino (時雨蓑, Rainshower Coat) Class: Kido. Tier: II Range: 15 Meters Type: Healing. Incantation: A gentle rain calls forth autumn straw. Sprout and surround. Description: Creates a thin barrier of green reiatsu around a target. While within the coat, the target's wounds and vitals are numbed and fixed at a stable level, allowing transportation without risk of further injury. However, this kido does not heal or restrain them: that would require use of other techniques.
Name: Ryodo #30: Tamashii Nuime (soul stitching) Class: Kido Tier: III Range: self Type: Healing Incantation: N/A Description: Coating ones reiatsu into their palm, the energy can then be used to stitch the bonds of spiritual entities limbs back together. It causes immense pain to the injured one. The downside is that any limb stitched back must be rested for four posted and not be used in an active manner.
Name: Ryodo 40: Torikesu (Revoke) Class: Kido Tier: III Type: Healing Range: <5 Meters Incantation: "Pain! I revoke thee!" Description: The user gathers sufficient amount of reiryoku around their hand, causing their hand to glow of a white aura. Gently placing their fingertips upon their target's vein, injecting their Reiatsu into their target's nerves and nullifies sense of touch. The user's target will be unable to feel anything upon that limb for five posts. This serves best use for healing someone whom is suffering from intense pain. It may be used on any body part except the head, where it will have no effect.
Name: Ryodo #53: Hiーringu Impan (Healing Stamp) Class: Kido Tier: IV Type: Healing Range: Contact Incantation: "Through my contract, insert thy rejuvenation." Description: A healing spell that works over time. Gathering their reiryoku through a pointer finger, the user contacts five light-blue kanji letters [リ - ラ- ッ - ク -ス] on their target chosen body parts. The kanji letters may be individually placed on a body part. Once placed, the ability will soothe the nerves with a relaxing sensation. For the next three posts, the contracted body parts will rejuvenate all minor to moderate cuts and bruises. Upon the ending of the last post, the kanji letters will glow of a teal color and slowly dissipate.
Name: Ryodo #58: Ripea (Repair) Class: Kido Tier: IV Type: Healing Range: <5 Meters Incantation: "May I repair the thread of life, silence all that is strife." Description: The user gathers necessary reiryoku upon their thumb and pointer finger, manifesting a five-inch bright green needle as they widen their two fingers. The user slowly penetrates the body part with the needle, causing it to quickly seep into the skin of the ally. The kidou will then exclusively target deep cuts, moderate gashes, moderate lacerations, and suchlike; painfully, yet quickly repairing tissue and stitching wounds back to the normal.No more than one needle may be placed on one body part at a time.
Name: Ryodo #65: Kagayaki (Radiance) Class: Kido Tier: V Type: 50 Meter radius Range: Medium Incantation: "Shall I bless my comrades and clear disbelief! May my radiance diminish pain." Description: This healing spell requires great concentration and positive energy. The user places their palms outward into the air, releasing a radiant yellow light from their entire body that heals allies up to a maximum of 50 Meters in front of them, as long as they are within the user's field of vision. This particular ability is capable of healing many people through moderate strength. Healing moderate bruises, deep cuts, and first degree burns. Whether this ability is used on one ally or seven allies, it will always heal with the same capability. Lasting for five posts.
Eishōhaki (詠唱破棄, "Incantation Abandonment"): is the skill in which a Kidō practitioner skips using a spoken incantation completely, but it drastically weakens the spell. This is applied as a 1-2 tier drop in the spells power depending on ones Kidou mastery, 2 for Beginner up to Advanced, and 1 for Mastered and above. However this also lowers the spells cooldown to match the lowered tier, to a minimum of Tier I.e.g A Tier IV Kidou be cast with Eishohaki as a tier II, its cooldown will also be the same at 0 posts.
BATTLE SKILLS
Name: Taekwondo Class: Fighting Style Type: Supplementary Range: Self. Tier: N/A Description: Taekwondo is the art of self-defense, and is one of the most common martial arts in the world. Taekwondo's main aspect is the emphasis on it's high kicks, which it is renowned for, a master of Taekwondo capable of hitting incredibly high axe kicks and breaking concrete on the bottom of their heel. Taekwondo, outside of it's high-kicks, acts as much more of a sport or fitness martial art, it's emphasis on the ability to stretch, flexibility, and physical form acts as much more of a sport rather then a full-fledged brutal style. Not to say it's weak, it's moreso that it's used mostly for athletic purposes.
The common practice for Taekwondo is to train in groups of ten to twenty, and is not that hard to find a dojo for. Often times, rather then physical punching, users of Taekwondo will focus on keeping a leg skywards, or kicking skywards, for prolonged periods of time. Sparring is common, but is much more focused around kicks against pads. Punching, in Taekwondo, isn't common, but is still touched upon, but not to much of an extent, and isn't often used in tournaments.
Name: Deonjigi [Throw] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Deonjigi is the use of throwing an opponent in Taekwondo. While this is an easier said then done trait, the use of it in a core aspect is a powerful movement in which the user of Taekwondo has the option of grasping ahold of a falling enemy and utilizing this ability to force them even further into the ground, causing damage on top of however hard they fell.
Name: Hosinsool [Self Defense] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Defensive. Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Hosinsool is the base of all self defense abilities for a taekwondo user. Most of these include blocks, disarms, and trips, but the core value is how to block onself from an oncoming ability. By taking up stance, a user of Taekwondo can block spiritual and physical abilities up to Tier III with their bare hands, which they proceed to break it apart with the flat of their palm in a thrust.
Name: Hyeong [Form] Class: Hand to Hand Technique Type: Offensive. Range: Self. Tier: III Description: Hyeong is the form that a Taekwondo user takes up when he is utilizing his martial arts. The use of it as an ability is simple, and that is to charge any physical attack that would come out from the body (a kick, punch, jab, you name it) with power, causing extra damage.
Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of steps.
Name: The Doctor Is In Class: Stepping Tier: I Type: Stepping Range: N/A Description: The free stepping technique allotted to canon Sub-Shinigami usable in their human form. This is a very simple step technique in which Akane forms a green colored reiryoku around her feet that allows her to "glide" across the air.

Name: Scalpel Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Supplemental Range: Self Description: Akane snaps her fingers and summons a scalpel radiating with her reiryoku. The weapon has Tier III durability and is used for melee combat as well as making rather large incisions. It can last for up to 6 posts before disappearing and has no cooldown.
Name: Red & Blue Pill Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Supplemental Range: Self Description: Akane snaps her fingers and summons a red and blue colored pill made from her reiryoku. Whomever ingests it gains a x2 increase to their speed and strength for the maximum duration of 6 posts. This suffers no cooldown.
Name: Yellow & Blue Pill Class: Human Powers Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: Akane snaps her fingers and summons a yellow and blue colored pill made from her reiryoku. Whomever ingests it gains a x2 decrease to their speed and strength for the maximum duration of 6 posts. This suffers no cooldown.
Name: Red & Yellow Pill Class: Human Powers Tier: IV Type: Healing Range: Self Description: Akane snaps her fingers and summons a yellow and red colored pill made from her reiryoku. Whomever ingests it has their minor cuts and bruises healed instantly, with any broken bones taking two posts and any organ damage taking four posts. The maximum this pill can last is four posts, upon which an eight post cooldown is suffered.

Name: Reproduction Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: III Type: Healing Range: Self Description: Through this ability, Akane is able to restore a patient's cells that have died. Whether it is red blood cells, white blood cells, any type of cell gets reproduced and replaced. This allows Akane the ability to heal minor wounds with one post and, large lacerations and the like with two posts, easily making it her weakest healing ability. This ability can only go for a maximum of two posts and suffers no cooldown.
Name: Blood Transfusion Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: IV Type: Healing Range: Self Description: Through stabbing an ally with her Zanpakutou, Akane can form her reiryoku into a special kind of "blood" that instantly recognizes and changes to match the blood type of said ally. This allows her to replace any blood they might have lost, up to a maximum of 5 posts with a cooldown dependent on whenever the technique ends. The blood flows into the ally's body at cero speed.
Name: Soul Suture Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: IV Type: Healing Range: Self Description: Akane manipulates a needle and thread that she conjures using her staff Zanpakutou with her hands. These "soul sutures" work the same as stitches, and are primarily used to stitch limbs back together. This is a very lengthy process that takes her the maximum of 3 posts to do per limb with her maximum being two limbs at 6 posts. One limb garners a 6 post cooldown while two suffers a 12 post cooldown. She is also only able to suture limbs back together at cero speed.
Name: Medical Dominion Class: Zanpakutou Spirit Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: Akane's strongest ability. By stabbing an enemy with her Zanpakutou staff, she is able to effectively "drain" red or white blood cells from an enemy depending on which she aims for at the time. The removal of white blood cells causes the opponent's immune system to begin failing which, while not lethal, will cause them to grow sick easier. The removal of red blood cells is far more lethal as she is removing the cells revolving around blood. She is able to remove up to 10 trillion red blood cells or 5,000 white blood cells provided that the contact between her Zanpakutou and the enemy isn't broken. Should the Zanpakutou be removed, a thread of reiryoku will keep the connection once the technique is active that can stretch up to 20m before snapping. The maximum duration of this technique which is required to steal the 10 trillion red blood cells is 6 posts, upon which this technique suffers a 12 post cooldown. If only 3 posts are met, only 5 trillion red blood cells or 2,500 white blood cells are stolen, in whichcase the technique suffers a 6 post cooldown. If 3 posts are not met, the technique is useless. The stealing of cells occurs at Cero speed.
- 10 trillion red blood cells ... 5000 white blood cells... ... okay first of all, before I give my actual diagnosis on this technique, 10 trillion red blood cells is anywhere from a third to half of the average human bodies red blood cell count.. you'd be practically killing somebody instantly after this
Class IV Hemorrhage involves loss of >40% of circulating blood volume. The limit of the body's compensation is reached and aggressive resuscitation is required to prevent death.
On this site, this will be a no go. Assuming you're at even advantage, a tier IV technique that can do this much internal damage, not to mention that this will effectively damage the brain because not enough oxygen will be pumped through, it will decrease organ function, and cause instant cardiac arrest because it will go into shock. This is a no fly, you'd have to be at a large advantage, and I'm talking 3+ advantages, before even considering a something of this lethal nature. Not to mention that you sustain the effect even after the sword is removed, it is a bit extreme, and I will ask for this technique to be changed.
Now, when it comes to techniques and the likes; we aren't looking for a quantity of damage, but rather the quality of damage, if that makes sense... you're draining of 10 trillion red blood cells means nothing, but if you can exclude mentioning any number and instead describe the effect (of which point this would make it sound more like a poison type technique) on a post by post basis, then it will make it plausible for approval.
Name: Soul Suture
- Given that this technique already requires 3 posts to complete, you wouldn't need a speed for this since it is already generalized at 3 posts. Also, note, that mid combat healing is very limited - as you'd make yourself very vulnerable. Also what kind of functionality can we expect after the limb is reattached, assuming that the limb isn't in a severely damaged state?
