The small boy was dressed in his new robes as the butterflies were following him one personal butterfly with white wings appeared. The white wings meant this was a message from her, all it had was a summons for him to meet with his soshi as he got ready as he held his zanpakuto and placed it inside his cloak as he waked onwards. It was hard to tell whether it was a robe or a cloak but it worked as both in this case. He entered the kido corps building as he just gave a cold serious look, he had changed recently and his time in the hospital was more serious having nearly died in his last visit as he had work to do having increased the abilities of the communication network with butterflies was one thing along with the new stealth technology outfitted to the butterflies.
He was also wondering if she knew about the hole that was in the waste lands, the one hole that had to be closed no matter what as hollows were still appearing there almost as if they were breeding, however they made less movement after his last assault on their compound. He finally approached the door to the meeting room as he awaited for it to be opened, before he would enter and sit in his spot for the meeting

Nessa looked up. Aoi. Blodeuwen's office was situated in such a location as to make it obvious that anyone approaching was approaching for one reason alone, and that was to see the soshi. She nodded to him, saying nothing. Their leader's door was firmly shut. Cracking her knuckles within her gloves, Nessa wondered why Mistress Blod had called them both there. She didn't feel that she was on especially bad terms with Aoi at the moment. She had a grudging respect for him if nothing else. He'd gotten very strong. He was still an impudent brat though which made him difficult to deal with at the best of times. The last time she'd seen him he'd tried to follow her because she'd given him some money.
Had the Soshi been putting them together recently for the sake of preparing them for whatever she was going to ask them to do now? She dreaded that but it seemed the most likely explanation. As long as he wasn't too weird or annoying she could tolerate it, she supposed. It wasn't as though Nessa had a wealth of friends or people to talk to either way. Except perhaps... Nemu, who she wanted to see again, if she could.
"She call you here too? Any idea what this is about, Aoi-kun?" she asked Aoi in a smooth contralto.

Shiori found herself once again walking up the steps approaching the Soshi's office. The last time she had come here it was because of her promotion to the second division liaison, now she had no idea why she was being summoned. Not that it mattered either way, when she was called she would go, it was her duty after all. She was sure to find out why she was here soon enough anyways, so she tried not to give it too much thought.
As she came to the top of the stairs she saw two familiar faces waiting outside the locked door. Nessa and Aoi, well this was a surprise for her. She'd only worked with Nessa once and seen Aoi around a few times. She wondered if they were here for the same reason as her, she couldn't see the Soshi calling all the at the same time for separate reasons. She raised a hand in greeting to the two, "Hey, how are you two?"
She made her way over to them leaning against the wall opposite Nessa, crossing her arms at her chest and overlapping her ankles as she rested her weight on the wall. "So do you either of you know why we're here?"
The two of them had appeared, Nessa Vårjen, the very first person to give him time in the kido corps, as she greeted him and asked him if he knew why they were here. He was unsure of his feelings about her as his impression of her had changed over time. Then there was the much less impressive but hard working Shiori who had met training the other day as well has had a friendly three way spar against as the feelings between them were far better then between Nessa due to the first encounters tension not completely being gone.
It was indeed Shiori who had interrupted them as she asked how they were as she leaned against a wall, seeming far more casual about this meaning as the look in Aoi's eyes changed to a look far too serious for a child of his age, though for shinigami age was all relative as even a child could take hundreds of years to age or may never age at all.
She asked why they were here as he gave out a sigh, since this was a meeting his usual playful nature was nowhere to be seen as we spoke.
"I have an idea of why we might be here, but I think we should just be patient instead of wasting time"
As his seriousness was more from the fact that he had to take a bit more responsibility and was also entering deeper levels in the kido library having reached a level in kido that had not been seen for quite some time, at least out side of the captain to vice captain ranks of the gotei thirteen. He did not want to waste time as he was anxious as well.

The door slid open of its own accord, following a gentle stroke of Blodeuwen's reiatsu. She heard the three voices that were outside, and let them in. Her face was bleak, her brow slightly furrowed. The three before her were three of the only Shinigami she felt confident giving this mission to. Her room smelt, as ever, slightly of vanilla, and of Nag Champa incense. She wore her officious purple robe and her hair was loosely styled into bangs as always. She beckoned them in and would wait before they were all in her office before she shut the door and begin speaking.
"Hello hello, welcome. I'm going to cut straight to the chase here," she began, not even asking them to sit down. Her desk was tidy, the weathered oak visible instead of its usual state of being drowned in paperwork. Unfurling a map of the Seireitei and the Rukon districts she pointed to a wasteland that had an X inked upon it. "This, as Aoi already knows, is some kind of structure. Within it, is a Hole, and through it, we've detected the presence of many Hole Hollows; Holers. Kíla Senzoba, the Hole Sub-Division captain has been taken. If she's alive, retrieve her." there was a dark ominousness about that statement, she didn't want to think of what would happen if she had been killed or worse; turned. "Nessa, you sew the hole up, Aoi, you're the leader here. You know the compound the best, I've been lead to understand from your reports, and Shiori, you need to back up Nessa, especially while she's sewing it shut. Have I made myself clear?" she asked, before rolling up the map and offering it to Aoi. It was an obvious dismissal; they had their orders. There was no room for negotiation here.
Ones' only option is to strive for ones' own goals. If one cannot even do that, then one is lower than garbage. Worthless, for that one takes up space in this world while giving back none. That one would be better off dead.
The end is the only thing certain
Be patient instead of wasting time he said in response to her question, well to be honest she didn't see trying to get a handle on the situation as a waste of time, really she was merely attempting to get her bearings of this sudden call to the Soshi. It had seemed an urgent message and being over at the Gotei she hadn't really been able to keep track of the happenings here. Perhaps she should come by and visit more often. Delve into the library and pick up some more kido, but that would be after this.
She was about to reply to Aoi when the door to Blod's office opened up and she invited the three shinigami inside. The familiar smell hit Shiori as she walked, vanilla and Nag Champa. The blonde woman never changed anything about her office, it looked the same as the first day Shiori had come in here. This time though, she didn't sit, she wasn't asked to nor offered a seat and the look on Blod's face told her the three wouldn't be spending much time in here either way. It didn't the Soshi long to get into the nitty gritty of things. A hole had opened up somewhere and a member of the Kido Corps had been taken. There mission was to go and take her back safely, assuming she was alive. Otherwise they would simply do their best to defeat any stray hollow and seal the hole.
Shiori herself had never seen these holes. Nor had she seen one of these hollows that Blod was talking about, that didn't mean she wasn't about to take them lightly though. Her very nonchalant attitude had already flown the coup, replaced with a seriousness similar to what Aoi was showing earlier. "Understood Soshi," she after their mission was given, turning to walk out with the other two and begin their mission.

"Not too bad." She told Shiori noncommittally. It seemed that the Soshi had been putting the three together for some joint purpose; that was her suspicion anyway. She didn't bother rising to Aoi's annoying crypticness, knowing that it wasn't worth getting in an argument here as much as he annoyed her sometimes. They were beckoned into the office. Same as always, except it seemed that Blodeuwen had done some tidying; she could actually see the surface of the desk. She listened in silence as Blodeuwen explained the situation. Of course Aoi as the strongest would lead; it was only natural. Also incredibly annoying. But that was that, she could annoy him later. However the news of Kila's kidnap was distressing in the extreme. It set her on edge. Kila and Thila weren't the strongest but they were good at what they did and that the two of them might have been overwhelmed was more than a touch disturbing.
"Crystal." she replied to the Soshi's captain, and she turned to leave slightly ahead of Shiori; she knew where to get the spiritual thread and spiritual needle required to actually do the dirty work of sewing the hole up and she would necessarily have to fetch that quickly first. "Wait here a sec Shiori." she said before flash stepping away, quickly going to retrieve what she needed.
The small boy was given charge of the mission not because of his position but because of his intel and as well as his dedication to the duty at hand. He had been in the hospital on a few occasions and while not that smart he decided to say a few things the moment they both said they understood. He was going to brief them in but it seemed that Nessa was quick to run off as he sighed.
"Shiori" as his look seemed a bit strict this time. "I need you to come with me, before we meet up with Nessa I need you to be prepared" as his techniques had changed since their last spar and the fact that this was not something he revealed in their hand to hand exchange the other day which was fun for him. He did enjoy it and with that he was able to form several new tactics on dealing with opponents as most of his attacks while ineffective would be useful if he just supported them with other techniques.
He also sent a butterfly towards Nessa to inform her of their meeting location at the outskirts of the wastelands. He then looked to Shiori motioning for her to follow as he headed towards the wastelands taking her to his small secret base or to be more exact his current living quarters

She stopped, and decided to wait for Nessa, but then Aoi came out saying that he needed her to accompany him. She looked off into the direction Nessa went, wondering if she should just wait or go after her, but then again Aoi was point in this mission so it was probably best to follow his orders. She turned her attention back to him and nodded before following him off. Ever since they got there his facial expression had been rather serious, she wasn't used to seeing him as such and wondered what happened. She could've understood if it happened after they had been briefed, but it was before they entered the Shoshi's office.
It was something to thing about, but at another time. "So, what do you know about these holes and holers?"
She hadn't heard much about it before now so it would be nice to know what she was dealing with before she just went out there and got herself killed or worse. She waited on Aoi's reply as she followed him, her mind now wondering where exactly it was he was going. They passed through the gates of the Gotei and entered into the districts. Why were they in the rukongai?

Nessa reached the store room she needed, and pried the door open. There was a gentle sound of weeping coming from within. Thila. She sighed, tiptoeing in. It was quite pathetic, and Nessa wondered why she was just sitting there crying instead of trying to get her sister back. In no mood to deal with the crying girl, she took what she needed; a large, slightly curved needle with ornate runes carved upon it, and an enormous spool of silvery thread that the tied to her back with the tail end of the string which was upon it. With a sigh that earned a hiccough in response from the room's other occupant, she stepped out and shut the door behind her. Shaking her head, nessa was about to meet back with Shiori and Aoi where they'd left from but she bumped into a Jigokucho. They'd already gone and she had to follow. Curses! That Aoi was trouble some times. She leapt into action, willing herself to catch them up.
She left, and raced out of the Seireitei, towards the place Aoi had indicated. She willed her shikai to give her a boost in speed, and floated across the building tops. She had no idea the others were taking a detour and so made her way there post-haste, resulting in her arrival before anyone else was there. Frustrated, she set the needle down in the ground with a violent jab, and sat upon the spool, waiting for Aoi and Shiori while thinking of the time, which was quickly diminishing.
The boy listened to Shiori's request and then answered her.
"Holes are gateways for hollows to swarm into our world from hueco mundo, however these holes are not as easy to spot and are a nuisance since they can not be closed normally. The holers are the hollows who make the holes and that is about all I know."
As the boy sighed he then continued a bit as they arrived at a desolate area that looked like a training ground with a pyramid.
"Shiori, I need you to watch my next two techniques carefully so you do not get surprised by them."
They passed by rukongai on the way to the outskirts, so it was no surprise they would go through there as a short cut. He then proceeded to show her his two techniques.
"Try and keep your eyes open for this Shiori" as he faced the palm of his hand up towards the sky, with this he could also signal Nessa to their exact meeting location before they enter the fortress
"Hado #8 Senkō Bakudan" as a large massive blind white light blasted into the air, Aoi was unaffected as he coated his eyes with reiryoku as a defence against that. As he looked to her to see how she dealt with that as he would instruct her. "When I use that do not look directly at the technique and use that as an opening to go all out on the enemy" as he waited for her to respond as he wondered how long Nessa would take to get there.

She tracked steps behind the smaller shinigami listening to him as he spoke about the Holes and hollows called Holers. Though it would seem Aoi wasn't all that much more informed. Soon enough they came to their destination, one Shiori wasn't sure had anything to do with their mission. It was barren and empty aside from the pyramid like structure that was there. The ground had evidence of obvious battles or training sessions so she figured this was Aoi's little get away most likely.
Her attention was dragged back to the small blonde youth as he mentioned her name, asking her to pay particular attention to his next few movements. She watched as he raised his hand and then he fired a Hado. The light was bright and blinding so much so she had throw a hand over her free eye to be able to see. Her attention went back to Aoi whom was barely visible to her for now, but her sight would return soon enough. Of course she wouldn't stare right at that when it was time for battle but he'd just ask her to look at it. She didn't really have much of an option in turning away from the blinding source of light.
"Right so long as you give me a proper heads up, shouldn't be a problem, still though..." Her head spun as if on a swivel as she looked around the area for their other companion. "I would've thought Nessa would have been here by now."

She'd been sat around grumbling for a few minutes, her thoughts fixated firmly upon Kiila, when suddenly, off in the distance a blinding white flash caught her by surprise. The reiatsu was Aoi's; he was some distance away, near a completely different part of the structure. Urgh, whatever. She picked up the needle and the spool, and began stepping, the awkward apparatus hindering her progress only slightly. She arrived just in time to catch Shiori's final sentence, and stopped, panting slightly at the sheer distance she had traversed with the spool of spiritual thread. She hadn't realized simply how huge the distances were out here in the wastelands, they really were out in the sticks.
"I was around the other side, where I thought Aoi had indicated. I kind of expected him to sense my reiatsu, it's not fucking hard." she said irritably though most of her ire was self-directed. Her presence meant that there was no covert entrance to be had. They would go in guns blazing by virtue of her lighting up the area with reiatsu like a kind of spiritual bonfire. Perhaps that had been exactly the plan, though being an enormous target didn't really make the job of sewing holes any easier. Whatever, she would do as she was told. "Aoi I hope you have a plan for this." she was using her teacher voice. Aoi was her superior but he was still a kid and she didn't want his childishness getting them all killed. She was itching to get inside as fast as possible; the threat of a Lieutenant level shinigami getting hollowfied wasn't one she wanted to contend with.
He took a deep breathe. "We are all here, and you do not need to get mad at me all the time Nessa-chan" as he seemed to have a more serious tone to his voice. "I will go first with a big explosion, we will only have a moment before they regroup and if their leader reaches the location before you are done, we will fail. My strongest technique will at best delay him so I will be the decoy."
He turned his face to look towards Shiori, "Shiori-san, can you handle all the one's that get passed me" as the level of respect difference seemed to be huge. He was not really thinking about it but then he remembered one more thing. "If either of you see my reiatsu turn deep black, you have a few seconds to get as far away as possible. Just so you do not get confused since I have a similar technique I will show it to you."
He stepped towards his pyramid as he indicated that none of them should come near him as he was clad in a black like aura as he spoke.
"Hado #44 Saisho no dai hendō" as the entire pyramid collapsed and was destroyed seeming to turn to dust as he let his voice be heard.
"This is without incantation, but the one you need to watch out for will be even darker then this. When I use Hado #81 the destruction will kill you, unless you hiding something to protect yourself from that"
This announcement was also a showcase of his prowess as he had already mastered a hado technique in the eighties
{TECH}Name: Hado #44 Saisho no dai hendō Class: Kido Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: 50 meter radius upon impact zone Incantation: Demons of the four corners of the earth, I beseech thee to end this cycle of creation, the beginning of the world, dark and impure, destruction at first, the beginning of our future Description: This technique travels at cero speed and gives off a chill in the air that causes animals to run away in fear. This technique causes a massive high damage explosion that would be able to severe limbs or break bones if taking a direct hit. The technique detonates once it reaches the target location and covers a fifty meter radius around the target point. The caster of this technique is unaffected by this technique as it destroys those with reiatsu that does not match his.

Just as she'd finished speaking she felt Nessa's spiritual pressure. She turned around when she heard the voice coming from behind, such convenient timing. Did she not get the message properly, or did Aoi just send her the wrong location? Either way she noticed that Nessa didn't seem too happy and refrained from saying anything beyond, "Good, now we're all here."
Her attention went to Aoi as he went over the plan. He was to be the main decoy taking care of most of the hollows and Shiori was to handle the stragglers. Simple enough. "Yeah I think I can do that." Her facial expression went towards a quizzical curious look as he suddenly out of nowhere gave them a warning. She wondered what it was that he had cooked up. Soon enough her question was answered as Aoi gave them a small demonstration. She watched as he carried out the hado and whistled once he was done. "Well, I can't wait to see it at full blast."
She looked around at everyone, and she didn't want to seem to be rushing but, "I think we've spent enough time here now don't you think?" It's not like they didn't have a life or anything to save. Or a hole in the dimensional barrier they needed to stitch.

"For christ's sake!" she said to Aoi as he brushed aside her impatience. "If Kíla is dead it's on you Aoi." she said, before shutting up for the remainder of the young shinigami's explanation of what the plan was. Vanessa was also tense at being the one who lit up like a beacon who was expected to sit there like a sitting duck fixing the hole. Sometimes she genuinely wanted to throttle the little blonde boy as she thought of Thíla sat alone in that room, sobbing her heart out for her sister. But orders were orders and she sat there, watching Aoi show off. Was this meant to be some kind of joke? Was he honestly showing off at a time like this? She was equal parts horrified and disgusted, and clenched her fists as Aoi exploded her kido. Don't get blown up by your careless superior. Got it.
When he was done, she picked up the spool, which she had been sat on and the needle, and put the spool on her back as she held the needle somewhat similarly to a sword. She knew from the map vaguely where the fortress was situated and as a result, she would head there, stepping as fast as she could so that Aoi and Shiori had no choice to follow.
"Okay now we have that down, let's go." she said, and without another word she stepped off to where the fortress was, and where their destiny awaited them.
The tone that Nessa took as he was a bit annoyed that she made it seem like he was wasting time, but in all importance if they did not get out of the way when he used that technique then they would all be dead. This was also to point out that if they took too long he would have no choice but to use a technique so powerful that it could kill everyone in the area, but Aoi himself.
He noticed that Nessa just sped off and he just said to Shiori. "Shiori-san, follow her I will be going on ahead" as he stepped he was more or less the same level when it came to stepping, but there was more to it then that as he began his technique to begin to take his role as the ultimate decoy.
"Bakudo #10 Kōmori Yoriyomi " as a white light went up for a moment as he went at high speeds just passing Nessa by, this was obviously not to show off, but it did emphasise that he was in a hurry to get into the battle field as he finally got there as he noticed roughly a hundred weak hollows all looking in his direction. A bit overwhelmed by his spiritual pressure as he did not have anymore time to waste.
"Hadō #33 Sōkatsui!!" as roughly ninety of these basic hollows got taken out in the blue explosion of kido as the stragglers began to retreat, meanwhile from the fortress thousands of hollows began to gush forth as the four main hollows in the fortress began to get annoyed as the one said.
"Seriously, this kid destroyed our last fortress. We will not let him get to have his way." as the four strongest hollows in the area got to four corners and then flew up into the air and began to block up the hole area with an unknown barrier in order to buy time. The strongest of the four stealthed itself in order to take out the boy when the time came.
{Techs}Name: Bakudo #10 Kōmori Yoriyomi (Bat Out of Hell) Class: Kido Type: Transportation Tier: II Range: Indefinite Incantation: Guardian of the sky, I seek sanctuary! Description: A white hole appears above the caster, who jumps through it. The circle shoots across the sky at amazing speed, of which even Shunpo would have a hard time of keeping up with, transporting them to another location, but can go no further than a 10 mile radius. Cannot be used in combat.
Name: Hadō #33 Sōkatsui (Blue Fire, Crash Down) Class: Kido Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: Long (70m) Incantation: Ye Lord! Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws! Description: Fires a burst of blue spiritual energy at a target in a similar manner to Shakkahō at x10 Cero Speed, but over a wider area and with more power.

The tension between these two was so thick she could cut through it with her zanpakuto if she tried. She wasn't quite sure what it was that had them both so irate towards each other. Perhaps the pressure and stress of the current situation was simply getting to them and by them she meant mostly Nessa, seeing as she was the most irritated one there. With a shake of her head and sigh she took off following both of them, her shunpo steps not being quite as fast causing her to trail behind a little bit. She'd need to remember to polish up her stepping skills if she came back from this little adventure alive.
It was around this time she noticed that Aoi hadn't even bothered following and was doing his own thing, perhaps she herself was a little too distracted with the happenings between these two. She couldn't afford that right now, she needed to stay sharp and focused.
Ok, eyes front and centre, don't take them off the prize. You have one job and that's to keep yourself and Nessa alive. Also Kila if we can find her.
She repeated this phrase over and over in her head as she prepared to go into the danger zone, that's what she was calling it anyways. She followed closely behind Nessa and not before long the fortress came into view. "So, just how fast are you on that sewing machine?" she asked. Knowing how much time she'd be covering Nessa for would help her gauge how to use energy and deplete all of her reiryoku too soon. After all it'd be pretty shitty if they all died because of her, or worst became hollows. Suddenly a bright white light was shining in the sky and she could sense Aoi's approach, and it was fast.
In a few moments he had caught up to and passed them heading straight into the gates of hell head first himself. He'd changed since the first time they met, somehow he seemed a little more reliable, but she'd see if he'd really grown up or if it was simply just that he'd practicing kido a lot. She watched him take out a large amount of hollow in one shot and a small smirk came across her lips, he wasn't too bad. The smirk however didn't stay for too long as a much larger group of hollows came rushing out, "At least I know I won't be bored," she mumbled under her breath.
She headed towards the hole only to run into a barrier that had been erected by four hollows, who seemed to be much stronger than the canon fodder down below. Some how, she felt her role just got switched with Aoi. She could take on all the small fry no problem, but these four by herself? They clearly weren't weaklings, maybe if she was just fighting them, but she had to make sure none of these hollows got Nessa either.
Great, Blod would send us mission impossible. Well I guess there's no use in complaining about it now.
She drew her zanpakuto and glanced over towards Nessa, "Well, I'm no expert when it comes to barriers and you two surpass me where kido is involved so unless you know away to rip this barrier open, we have a bit of a fight on our hands."
Post by VANESSA VÅRJEN on Oct 5, 2016 22:10:12 GMT
It seemed her gambit had worked; Aoi had sensed the urgency of the situation and raced on ahead with a useful little bakudo she'd have to go and learn herself. Shiori seemed to be struggling to keep up slightly and so Nessa slowed down. She exited her step just as the fortress came to view to hear Shiori asking her how long the hole sewing would take. How was she supposed to know? They were all different sizes, and she was quite stressed. "No idea. Few minutes, tops. It's a bit unyieldy and I'm not that big." she said shortly. Her boobs also tended to get in the way which was quite frustrating.
Nessa watched the four hollows erecting a barrier at the entrance of the fortress. It was vaguely pyramid-shaped with a single large gateway to get to the inside, and many smaller holes for hollows to disengage themselves from to pour out of it, somewhat like an angry ants' or hornets' nest. Simple enough design; presumably just one big room with a hole in it right in the centre. That meant that they needed to get past that barrier.
"Cover me." she told Shiori as she got closer, and began enchanting. "Dipolar tension, strike out! Burning streams fall from the maw of the great winged serpent, decimating all with thunderous potential!" she called, shoving her one free gauntlet out in front of her as electricity crackled around it. Nessa's reiatsu was a viscous wobbling liquid, and it vibrated and hummed grotesquely as she gathered more energy for her attack. More and more hollows poured out of the pyramid; she would have to let Shiori worry about those. Presumably Aoi would head in and try to draw out whoever was calling the shots here while Nessa and Shiori worked their way in slowly, on the lookout for Kíla. "Hadō #88 Hiryugekizokushintenraiho!" Nessa cast, augmenting the power of the kido with raw energy of her zanpakuto so that an indescribably incandescent torrent of electricity leapt towards the barrier, causing it to explode in a huge blast, ropes of lighting arcing up the reiryoku links between the hollows and the barrier, stupefying them with an unexpected stunning effect. The air rippled with energy and lightning arced everywhere as the ground tried to neutralize the bolt.
"Shiori quick, let's go in!" she called to the other shinigami, assuming she had been able to hold off any of the hollows that might have descended upon them in the meantime. Nessa gripped the needle in her gauntlet, and headed into the fortress, ready for whatever awaited them from within.
{TECHS}Name: Hadō #88 Hiryugekizokushintenraiho (Flying Dragon-Striking Heaven-Shaking Thunder Cannon) Class: Kido Tier: VI Type: Offensive Range: Medium (30m) Incantation: Dipolar tension, strike out! Burning streams fall from the maw of the great winged serpent, decimating all with thunderous potential! Description: Fires a gigantic electricity blast of spiritual energy at Cero speed resulting in an truly enormous explosion. With incantation, the range is boosted to 50m and it acquires stunning effects.
Name: Doubling Class: Shikai Tier: IV(V) Type: Offensive/Defensive/Binding Range: Self Description: Using this ability, Nessa is able to double any kido she has cast with a second layer of potency tier V. This second layer is added to the kido's power, and this technique takes the type of the kido being cast (offensive, if hado, defensive or binding if bakudo). This technique does not grant the traditional advantages gained from being a release technique.

Llew stirred. Yes... That reiatsu. They were here. He felt the three he expected. He glanced at the shinigami bound and gagged next to him, tears in her eyes, pale and convulsing. A dark glee glittered in his pale blue eyes as he watched her squirming, silvery white hair flicking in all directions, sweat dripping off of her forehead.
"Hush now..." he drawled, scratching at the wolfish upper jaw that protruded before his face which constituted his mask remnants. "You will have your time soon enough." he pulled her gag out and Kíla cried out but halfway through she vomited a thick, gooey white liquid. He felt the crackling of electricity as the barrier failed. Yes; now was the time to go and confront the one on the outside. The hole-room was eerily quiet now, the thing itself suspended in the air in the middle of the room like an omen. All the hollows had made their way outside. He would dispatch of the miscreant and then make his way back inside to see how much a mess there was.
"Be good." he told the little shinigami quite pleasantly, before ascending with a sharp sonido and bursting from the roof of the fortress.
Llew was tall. The bony upper jaw of a wolf skeleton protruded from his face, obscuring his nose, but his piercing blue eyes were clearly visible. He was handsome and terrible and terrifying all at once. He wore green rags stitched together roughly with sinews and his zanpakuto was slung in a pouch over his shoulder. As he emerged, he let his reiatsu roll out in waves, like pulses of unholy light. It was stifling and sickly. Rotten flowers and too-bright lights and all manner of other unpleasant and intense things. Even Aoi, who was a captain-class shinigami would be overwhelmed at the sheer and enormous might of this arrancar who throbbed with energy. Llew's power rested more appropriately at the absolute zenith of shinigami; captains Kyoraku, Kenpachi, and such. He smiled at the boy- for he was a boy, no more.
"Come." his voice was sandy and smooth and reassuring. "I assume you are here to fight me. So let us get it over with. You don't need to know my name; you'll be dead soon enough."
