It seemed that everything was going well with the outreach program. With every established connection comes a better rapport between the Kidoshu and with reps of the different divisions. Next stop on the list would be the juusanbantai ran by Ukitake-Taicho. Certainly he would have assigned an individual to this special request to allow Mazaki to partake in a mission or task. In either case, Mazaki would be ready with his zanpakuto, Kyokujitsu, securely fastened to his left side within his sash. As he approached the front gates he noted the proximity of water as he heard the sound of running water. It was an almost peaceful atmosphere as the sound of the lake nearby gave off this tranquil mood, with the sun also beginning it's descent as it approached the horizon, this was a perfect setting for a late afternoon errand.
As he walked up to the front entrance, not immediately seeing any guards or any shinigami out and about, he wondered if he came at a bad time, or nobody was really prepared to handle this. He rose his right brow as he pulled out the endorsed letter from his Kidocho to operate outside the kidoshu headquarters. Every now and then, a shinigami would pop out from the gate, however, was in too much of a hurry to really notice Mazaki standing there, even as he called out for them only to be met with an apology as they ran off. Was it perhaps an end of the day thing? Mazaki knew that the 13th Division had special involvement with Kurakara town, a place that is holding special interest, and from where, for the most part, a majority of the new sub-shinigami came from. They were briefly mentioned, especially given that the Kidoshu weren't given a sub-shinigami to represent them.
Maybe this was an excuse to approve this initiative. He looked about, still awaiting to see if somebody would give him the time of day to listen to his request. Perhaps he would have to walk in first and force somebody to listen. At this point, Mazaki was as clueless and would not want to do anything to make anybody angry at him. He was still newbie in the Kidoshu and screwing up his first assignment would be a huge demerit on his profile.

ANOTHER CHECK FOR THE LIST
"Where did I leave it this time..."
Kozakura was going to be in the dog house if she went home without it. Her eyes scanning the squad thirteen barracks for what she had once gain misplaced. Some of the squad had already set out in helping her look for it since they knew what happen when she got frustrated. A quick glance at the half fixed hole in the wall revealing the back of the barracks from when she found out she had misplaced her zanpaktou yet again. "How in god's name do I lose that thing, it's more than seven feet tall and black as night..." Words spoken in an irritated tone as she opened the door of the barracks seeing the new figure before moving her focus to keep looking as she spoke. "Have you seen a blade about seven feet tall rather wide and black, has a skull on it also?" Kozakura spoke, glancing over her shoulder just in case the person was a mute and only nodded.
If they had no idea she would pick up a rock from the scenery and look below it before letting it slam back down. Little did she know resting just at the base of the running water was her zanpaktou. Her focus, however never looked in that direction as she walked around a tree a few times thinking it might have been leaned against it. Kozakura's lip began to twitch with irritation at how she could still not find the weapon despite flipping most of the barracks upside-down and checking all the places she would have likely to leave it. "Retrace your steps Kozakura... You came to SS to hand in another mission report to the captain ... You made it to the gate ... ... DAM IT WHY CAN"T I REMEMBER!!!!" Her reiatsu flared out wildly as she slammed her fist into the tree leaving a reasonable hole on impact.

A new shinigami came out from the gates just as he approached. Her body language was frantically displaying frustration as she seemed to be caught in a game of hide and seek. Immediately she drew her attention toward Mazaki as he stood there and listened to her inquiry. Before he was able to mutter more than a "Uhhh," she fled off again, talking to herself and practically stomping a hole in the ground. He walked over to her after she stopped to ponder about her day and where she may have left this behemoth of a sword.
You're not going to find it that way... Mazaki Hiroshi of the Kidoshu.
He spoke out finally, introducing himself as he respectfully bowed his head. She had seemed to finally catch her breath from her panic attack. He walked ahead of her, practically walking in through the barrack gates. He looked around as he become familiar with the scenery.
I'll help you find your blade... if it is seven feet long, should not be too difficult to find given that there's still plenty of day light. Take a deep breath, close your eyes and try to relax. Now do you recall the last time you actually held your zanpakuto?
Of course, he could only assume that she spoke about her zanpakuto, given that she was in shinigami robes and had no sword to speak of at this given moment. Though he did find it rather amusing that a weapon larger than he is has been misplaced, though he didn't show it. He looked back over to her, waiting to see if there was any response or if she was still going crazy... in either case he'd help her out even if they had just met. He pulled out his notepad and pencil from within his robes, as he began to write down some details of his observations.

ANOTHER CHECK FOR THE LIST
"Don't tell me to calm down!"
Kozakura glared at Mazaki before walking over to him and reaching for his collar. "Don't EVER tell me to calm down!" Her reiatsu matching her shout as it arced around her before she let go of his collar and kept searching. She was decent with keeping herself calm but once her top was even slightly pushed open it would go full force until her steam was out or the cause was dealt with. A set of Shinigami looked in from the gate sighing at the sight of the damaged tree and a raging Kozakura. "Sister, she started going rampant again." - "Sister, what do you think it is over this time?" The two new arrivals seemed to have the same voice as the moved to hide on either side of the entrance, their arms reaching out to keep holding the other's hand. The two scanned the area before both pointed at the waterfall where the sword rested before looking to each other and nodding.
Kozakura was still clueless to their arrival as they ran to get the sword. "Guess I just need to destroy the place to find it!" Her tone was nothing to overlook as she began to let her reiatsu run wild filling the air with the smell of corpses and depression. The black skull taking form around her figure as she began walking towards a rock to throw at something. "Kozakura-dono your sword is over here." The twins speaking in unison as the struggled to hold the blade with one hand each while the other was kept locked with their sister's hand. Kozakura looked over almost ready to toss the rock before her reiatsu just vanished and she started laughing. "Wow, I'm blinder then I thought when I get angry ha-ha." Placing the rock down before slowly making her way towards the twins who both seemed worried as Kozakura got closer.

All Mazaki was able to really think was the fact that she seemed a little over the edge. With how she reacted to a few words that he stated, it was odd that she was recruited into the 13th Division. The squad seem to be a more relaxed group of shinigami, but still dedicated to their work given their taicho. Even as she grabbed his collar, he wasn't going to say anything more after she rejected his help. In either case, it would seem that he won't be able to check off the Juusanbantai from his list and would need to speak with either the Fukutaicho or Taicho in regards to his special request.
Two distant voices called out for the shinigami, "Kozakura" was the name that they used. While he introduced himself, he would not go as to be so impolite to use her name without her formal introduction. After retrieving her zanpakuto back, she seemed to be a bit more lax.
Well, it seems you have found what you are looking for, I guess I will continue to wait for a representative from the Juusanbantai who can help me... it was a pleasure to meet you.
He would turn to face the barracks as he noted other members of the division. He placed his left hand on the butt of his Zanpakuto handle, while he stroked his chin with his right. He didn't expect anything further from the shinigami, but it would surprise him if she were to approach him. Mazaki was not one to pursue people if they did not require him to do so; it was not within his nature to impose himself on to people. He was well mannered and of course courteous enough to understand that some people just do not have the social skills to communicate effectively. Thus, he will wait until he can complete his task here.
Kyokojitsu...
He thought to himself...
I didn't think completing the A for Juusanbantai would be this difficult... I expected more trouble to be had with Juuichibantai or even Juuniibantai.

ANOTHER CHECK FOR THE LIST
"Don't tell me to calm down!"
Once Kozakura had her weapon from the twins they ran inside as Koza chose to turn to Mazaki as she tried to adjust the weight of the weapon on her shoulder a bit. "What kind of representative you looking for?" She struggled to say the word as she scratched her head. While she knew it well she liked smaller words better as she walked away from the water and sat down on a rock leaving the blade to lean against it. "Honestly the squad is shorthanded at the moment. With old man Jūshirō being sick and all that. Not to mention we lost a few more Shinigami then most to hollows." Kozakura actually looked like someone who thought, her eyes deep in thought as she recalled everything that has been happening recently. Falling forward she chose to rest had back on the rock as she pulled out a pocky stick and offered it to Mazaki.
"Want one?" if he accepted she would toss it over to him and get one for herself, if not she would shrug her shoulders and begin to chew on the once offered candy. Leaning her head to see the sky she yawned a bit. 'Honestly it might be smart to try and do a training camp for the squad... Blue knight and red knight can only save them so many times. And elder ain't got much longer it seems...' Her thoughts began to roam as she seemed to relax more as she slowly fell down the side of the rock almost laying down in the grass. The main reason she chose not to think, was because it made her relax and lose her edge. But seeing as she still had a few hours before her sister got out of class she had time to kill.

He slowly turned, eyes a little widened by her sudden change of persona. Mazaki was just thrown off by this sudden shift when she had approached him and inquired about what he was seeking. At the same time, the female offered him one of those bread sticks covered in a coat of chocolate. He accepted, smiling as a took hold of the uncoated end and placed the pocky stick into his mouth where he would allow it to stay put. Mazaki was not one to turn down a good treat.
Honestly, I'm looking for somebody with whom I can form a rapport with as a way to bridge the gap between the kidoshu and the Gotei 13. While I recognize that the Kidoshu and the Gotei are already in good standing with each other, I feel that the Kidoshu aren't looked at as equals from the rest of the Seireitei. I wish to absolve that stereotype and make connections with shinigami, and not just within my own immediate environment.
With a snap, the biscuit stick would pop from his mouth as his hand pulled away, only for the pocky to return for another bite. He looked back over to the Shinigami who had graciously offered the chocolate candy to him, and it had finally occurred to him that he had still not heard any introductions from her. While he did hear another shinigami utilize her family name, it would be rude of him to use it without a formal greeting from his present company.
I really do hope I'm not being pushy, but may I ask for your name?
Mazaki asked in the most polite fashion that he could muster, once again bowing before reintroducing himself.
My name is Masaki Hiroshi, member of the Kidoshu. He bowed slowly, before meeting her eyes again as he lifted his head.

ANOTHER CHECK FOR THE LIST
"Sorry, I don't remember much, ha-ha."
Kozakura tapped her skull as she tried to remember where she heard the word 'Kidoshu' from. After he finished his rather large answer to her question she still had nothing come to mind and shrugged her shoulders. When he asked for her name she could only laugh slightly before trying to remember if she even had the manners to say her name before when she was angry. "Sorry, sorry. My name is Kozakura Hayashi. Squad thirteens' substitute Shinigami. Sorry thought I had said it when I came out here but I must have just been grumbling to myself about I should say it ha-ha." Taking a bite out of her pocky stick before sitting down at the front of the barracks. His name being registered and shoved into her already overfilled head and the chance she recalled someone so mundane was rather scarce.
"OH, Kidoshu was the squad Aoi was from, ha-ha. Think it was all kido focused or something. Not my style, I'm terrible with the demon arts ha-ha." Kozakura was most likely not helping Mazaki get a good impression of squad thirteen but she was being her same old self. Plus, she did not care how others saw her, it was not worth trying to be someone she was not just to impress others. Pulling another Pocky stick out as she tossed the remaining piece of the candy that had no chocolate towards a squirrel. Yawning as she began to relax and nibble on the pocky stick just enjoying the peace the squad had to offer. Looking over to Mazaki with a faint smile as she was already half way through her second pocky stick.
