All Things Have a Beginning ... [nd/inv]

AS the newest member of the Kidoshu, Mazaki was given a mission to become acquainted with members of the other divisions. Normally the Kidoshu don't mingle a lot with the 13 court guards but given recent state of affairs it was best to decide to become more involved with them. Mazaki was ambitious, highly regarded and a promising student coming out of the halls of the academy. To be one of the few to have tapped into his inner spirit before being handed an blank slate Zanpakuto, he had obtained shikai shortly after joining the Kidoshu. Still, as his own growth continues, it was he who believed that training in Kido alone would not be suffice in his growth, he had suggested to the Kidoshu commander of wanting to branch out and establish connections with members of the 13 court guards, even if it meant assisting in a mission of their choosing, or becoming a sparing partner.

It was midday over the Seireitei, with beautiful ivory clouds and silver linings sporadically forming under the azure skies; a cool breeze wavered against his hair and robes, as he approached the Juubantai Barracks. An official letter from the Kidocho was handed to him in case he was questioned by any of the sentries. Also, notifications were to be sent out to the other Taichos, and whether or not they had time to review and assign somebody to be in liaison for this particular purpose would be left entirely to chance. In either case, Mazaki was prepared for anything, in his mind at least: with a notepad and a pencil to write down any notes or observations which he has hidden within his robe. He has also brought Kyokujitsu, his Zanpakuto, sheathed and securely fastened to his sash on his left.

As he approached the front gates, he couldn't help b ut notice how different the Barracks looked in comparison to the Kidoshu Headquarters. Perhaps they were help to a different set of standards or given the fact that they are expected to house several memnbers at a time, maybe it was necessary to make them this huge. Regardless of the reasoning, Mazaki would await, letter in hand, for a representative to approach so that they may begin on this quest to gain bonus experience points.
