Vanessa panted. Sweat dripped from her body in rivulets, she picked up the towel from nearby and wiped her face and bosom. She was clad in a tank top and parachute pants that were bound tightly to her legs with cloth up the length of her calves so they didn't get in the way. She had been working on her Kido, as evidenced by the many charred, burning and destroyed dummies nearby. While she was still with the Kido Corps she had so much time to train and hone and perfect her kido, but now she was effectively in the twelfth squad, in between reporting back to the Soshi and perfoming Kido research for Mayuri she didn't really have much time. She wasn't especially complaining, after all it meant that she got to see Nemu... Her mind slipped back to thoughts of her Fuku-taicho. Her grace and intellect, her demure kittenish nature, her soft lips, shiny hair, supple skin and- she was snapped out of her daydreaming by a small fire that was burning on the bandage on her wrist. A little bit of backlash from that last Hado 54. Her gloves were off and resting between her feet so she had a little extra dexterity in her fingers to execute the somatic gestures that made kido that much easier. She patted the fire out and returned to what she was doing.
While she wasn't complaining, she was also not getting complacent. She wanted to not only maintain, but exceed her current strength. She knew she had so much more potential than this, and each moment she relaxed was a moment she wasn't working to rise above others. Hence using off-days like today for training. As a vanity exercise she wanted to test out if she still had it... Yes, she would attempt that kido. It was with a soft smile that Nessa drew a deep breath and centred herself, before recalling and speaking the incantation, focusing on the dummy before her.
"The crest of turbidity, seeping out. An insolent vessel of madness. Boiling up, denying, numbness, blinking, obstructing slumber. The steel princess who creeps. The mud doll, ever disintegrating. Unite! Oppose! Filling the earth, know your own impotence!" she cried, feeling the swelling crescendo of reiryoku thrumming within her. Her reiatsu, which constantly ebbed and flowed uncontrollably, was now spiking with alarming intensity "Hado 90, Kurohitsugi!" she cast the spell, the wave crashing and breaking as the black cuboid materialized around her faux-opponent, a huge black stain upon the training grounds. She clenched her fist and lances of pure reiryoku shot through the box. If the dummy had been alive, it was sure as shit dead now. The box broke away and its remains shattered into dust. The dummy was all but obliterated and she gave out a brief whoop of jubilation, her heart soaring. Quickly donning her gloves, she gave the old one-two to the air before her in a boxer's stance before exhaling and looking around to see if there was someone she could goad into training against her.

Yorishou was not sure how he had gotten to the training grounds from the barracks. He had just started walking, his paperwork from his first human world mission since the incident finally finished and his legs in dire need of a stretch. He supposed it was habit, during his punishment his only way of staying match fit had been the training grounds. He had had many good fights here, from young boys with far too much kido to 4th divisions with far too much ego. Good memories, and good experiance. His feet had assumed thats where he wanted to go while his head was in its usual place in the clouds.
He had been thinking of that letter, that Stone Kings invitation. Yorishou had since waved it away under the assumption it was a prank or a test. But still, just could not shake the thought that it could be real. What if there was a group out there that could teach him the mastery of stone. He could plan it and get some provisions and maybe sneak out one nigh-NO! A voice shouted at him. He was not to break any more rules. His 11th side that yearned for battle was tired of the same rounds, it would never be shackled here again! Cutting that whole idea down.
Yorishou shook his head, he had been walking while daydreaming again, a dangerous thing to do. Especially in the training grounds his absent thinking had marched him straight into the center of. Who knows what psychos are lurking in here looking for a fight, and who knows what he could have walked into. Knowing his luck, some crazy kido girl was standing around here looking for a fight. But the chances of that were just ridiculous, he thought with a smile. Standing still and taking a long and deep breath to admire the moment. With any luck, he would never 'have' to fight here again.

Her jade eyes landed upon a shinigami who was walking close by. She didn't recognize him. The blood had started to recede from her head, and she had calmed down a tad. Her reiatsu was still fluctuating erratically between virtually nothing at all and intensely crushing weight. She relaxed the boxers' stance, and wiped herself down with the towel once more before slinging it over her shoulders. She watched the newcomer as he failed to spy her, and swaggered seductively over to him as he inhaled. Her usually pale skin was coloured by her exertion, her lips a full red. He couldn't surely have been wandering here for fun. Maybe he was after someone to spar against. She wasn't sure she was really in the mood to force anyone into a fight but she could possibly be goaded.
"Hey handsome." she said, hitting him with a rare but quite winsome smile. Vanessa had chronic resting bitch face, but it made her creamy smooth face light up even more by comparison when she did force herself to smile. "What squad are you in? Here for a stroll I take it." she said, sarcastically, an eyebrow raised suggestively. Her gauntleted arms were crossed below her bosom, after pulling her tank top up slightly to avoid accidentally flashing too much cleavage.

He could have sensed her a mile off with that reiatsu. It flailed about like a drunk octopus, no control, no care. Most uncivilised. It was common practice to flex your stuff in the training grounds but this was just careless, he was unsure whether she was ignorant or arrogant. Maybe both. Maybe neither. In retrospect, his character gauging was terrible, so it was probably an entirely different reason. There he goes with the daydreaming again.
Her greeting took him a little off gaurd. It was rare to be hit on at all in the soul society, let alone in the training grounds. If she thought she could distract him mid fight with fliratation she really did not know who he was. Which became obvious, when she asked who he was. Girl 1, Yorishou 0. "Yorishou Kiyoshi, The Met-" he stammered, deciding to leave out the pomp of titles "-Man, the man of 11th division that I am in, as a man" ok, he may have been caught a lot of guard.
He coughed, folding his arms and standing a little straighter, pulled fully from his daydreams now and returned with a warm smile, he was not quite at flirty yet. But that did not mean he could not throw a cheesy chat up line out, he liked to test all new friends before the friend part, and her reply would say a lot about her character. "And you? How is it I do not know your name when every pathstone in seretei must beg your favour?" it might have been throwing it on too strong. Sure she was attractive, but this could backfire very fast if he was not carefull. He had simple chosen a chat up line to match her attitude so far, it meant nothing. Or so he hoped.

There was a little hiccough in the reiatsu as her face twisted into a smug smile at the newcomer's awkwardness. He started to introduce himself but seemed to stumble upon his words. Was he going to call himself by some title? It sure seemed that way, and the thought of it made her raise her eyebrows and chuckle. This guy was just too easy, it seemed. She was close now, only a few feet away, with her hands on her hips, feet wide in a confident stance that helpfully displayed her excellent figure to the fullest.
"Well I didn't ask your name." she told him pointedly. "But it's good to meet you Yorishou. I'm Vanessa Vårjen, Kidoshu-Kōkan-kan with Juunibantai." following a florid bow, Vanessa cracked the joints in her neck. When he delivered his poetic one-liner it was all she could do to stop herself rolling her eyes, disgruntled, or even simply laughing in his face. Instead she folded her arms once more and hit him with a sardonic stare, a single blue eyebrow arched dangerously. "Well you know my name now. That's very cute." a brief pause. "But it takes more than empty frivolities to win me over." she said, her eyes flashing with anticipation. She flexed her fingers within her gauntlets and a small surge of reiatsu pulsed inadvertently from them. She looked down, a little surprised, before fixing her gaze back onto Yorishou. "Anyway, you never answered; I don't honestly believe you're here for anything other than training. And you came and interrupted my training..." she said, her voice dripping with implication, hoping he was clever enough to put two and two together.
{Notes and Errata}"Kōkan-kan" is "exchange officer". Yori would likely know about Kōkan-kan from the one who is in the 11th squad (though what the kido exchange-officer does in the 11th division is another question entirely. Most likely spends his time doing on-site healing and helps crazy melee fighters practice fighting magic users). It puts her at the rank of maybe a 3rd of 4th seat.

Yorkshou frowned, raising the forefinger of his right hand and turning to her, his mouth opening to say something. Then closing his mouth, and turning back, his left hand went to his hip and his right hands forefinger tapped his chin. She had him there. She had not asked for his name, and yet, like a presumptious moron, he had given it. And to make matters worse, he had looked like a presumptious moron in front of a Kõkan-kan. So now two squads are going to know he is a presumptious moron. Fantastic.
He talked, his finger coming off of his chin to emphasise each sentence, followed by a pause. "You are of course correct" "And I am of course, cute" he mulled this over. Starting to sway slightly as he thought, after a few seconds he turned to her and brought his right hand down to the hilt of his sword. He was not here to train, he knew very well he was not even in the mood for training. But she had a point. Even though it was his testostorone making a solid 60% of the point. There was no denying he was now interested in her, the level of which was uncertain. But he currently held a formal respect, even just in her job alone. He knew it was not easy, heck, the 11ths Kõkan-kan was just used to start fires with kido then made to fill out the fire report forms for hours of bullying fun.
He drew his zanpakutou, backing up as he did so. "Well as I so rudely interupted I think it is only polite I partake in your training Miss. Vårgen, its the least I can do." His smile was back now, for some reason. It was a slightly forced smile, he was not in a smiling mood, but to avoid offense or being misunderstood, he felt a smile was called for. Plus you never know, she might be decent. Maybe, if the charred and splintered remains of the target dummy behind her were anything to go by anyway. He coughed, taking up a simple sideways stance and levelling his blade straight at her around 10m away. "Hit me with your best shot" he goaded cheekily, with a concealed touch of fear for what could potentially come.

Arms still folded she watched him thinking. So this guy was in the eleventh division. Undoubtedly he'd be more experienced than her with physical combat. Not only that, he was likely to be in better condition. Nessa had been faster as a spy than she was now, but she also had the advantage of Kido. She recognized that in fact, she was far better fighting from a distance, despite the deadliness of the gauntlets that were her shikai, up close. It was a dichotomy she hadn't considered before and was unsure what kind of distance she would attempt to maintain from a pure melee-combat fighter. She supposed there was only one way to find out. One thing was apparent; Yori was more strong than her than he was faster than her, as she felt extra strength coursing through her body from her shikai.
She watched him back up; she was quite close, as he drew his zanpakuto. Her eyes flashed and she smiled right back at him, as he offered to work with her. Now that was the answer that she was looking for and they'd arrived there no ego, no shit talking no nothing. This was what she wanted- a fight where she honestly had nothing to prove. She knew she was rusty. She spent most of her time reading old spellbooks and doing science for chrissakes. She readied a fighting stance, but then he asked her to hit him with her best shot, and she couldn't help but laugh.
"This isn't an attempt to sound big and strong," she said, her voice a rich honey timbred purr, "But I think I'll stick to Hado below the '90s in range for now. If that's quite alright with you?" she asked, before raising her covered fists once more. Confident that he wouldn't be able to pull anything that made it dangerous, she closed the gap with a burst of speed, muttering the name of a kido; "Bakudo 39, Enkosen." she said, as the bright shield formed upon the opposite hand to whichever Yorishou was holding his zanpakuto. This enabled her to aim a punch at his non-sword side.

Yorishous opinion of her was growing, she seemed confident, not arrogant and polite as can be. This was good, he hated poor losers and bad winners, hopefully she would be balanced. He ferverently hoped those gauntlets were her zanpakutou. Possible a shikai form from the energy sparking off of her, but primarily, hopefully durable. Or this could hurt.
As her fist flew towards him, he started with a simple move to guage her ability, the shield was an interesting development, especially for a hado kido thing. His knowledge of them was very limited but what he had seen was generaly explosive or sharp, this was the first defensive type.
He moved to the right a little, his blade meeting the side of her hand and pushing it away with a weak hit but firm push. Putting his movement behind the push, his blade would slide down her gauntlet and try to attack where it ended. Not hard enough to sever the arm but contact would be made enough for a cut.

He was more cautious than she'd grown to expect from an 11th divison member but that was fine, Vanessa could deal with cautious. He stepped to the side, but not enough to indicate he was going to fully dodge her punch. Mostly, Vanessa was alerted to this by the incoming zanpakuto. Perfect! It seemed as though the strike was somewhat tentative, too which further aided her. The zanpakuto caught the side of her hand, and quick as a flash she grabbed ahold of it. This, obviously thwarted her attempt to punch him but her fist instead closed tightly about his zanpakuto.
She fired off the next kido as quickly as she was possibly able, Eishohako arts were incredibly useful in close-quarters fights like this one. Her jade eyes sparked with satisfaction but she gave no more indication than that as she softly spoke the words; "Hado eleven, Tsuzuri Raiden." she said. They were close now, the only thing between them the shield on her right hand, buzzing with reiryoku. She could see the details of his face quite clearly. The electricity would come from her gauntlet and leap down his zanpakuto. If he wanted to keep ahold of his weapon, he'd have to drop it, most likely. Not only that but this was no mere hado 11. She had "Doubled" it, adding another layer of potency to the attack so while it might have looked like a low level kido he might be able to shrug off, in reality he would be electrocuted for much more damage if he was determined to keep ahold of his zanpakuto.

A nice move, quick thinking and if he was not so sharp it may have been the end of the fight. Grabbing the opponants sword was something he himself had done in the past to get someone close, never did he think someone else woukd have the same idea. But if that was indeed her zanpakutou he applauded her genius, it was a perfect weapon, especially with the zanpakutou durability.
He left a present on her right hand (1, III) where she had grabbed him, it was a trifle thing and he was yet to use it tactically. It was more of a...contingency plan, if things went wrong or he needed a dodgy escape. His blade would vanish (2) from her hand as her mouth was on the second word of her kidokukuku (stopping the kido), leaving it or himself there could do a world of hurt. But that was nothing compared to the damage a kido user could do if he gave her some space.
His blade immediatly flashed out again, morphing into a hammer (3) as soon as it left the sheath and crashing into her shield, which would hopefully be enough to break or damage it. Then 'stepping' backwards 2m to gain footing and situation. If it did nothing he could be in trouble, that was his strongest tech without releasing. Yorishou really hoped he would not be the first to release, even though there was no crowd this time, which was a nice change, this fight was going to a good place, and he did not want to ruin that by switching up a gear.

This weighs the same as the sword to the user, does tier III blunt, brute force damage and weighs 280lbs to the points of impact. Lasts 6 posts.
(2)name: Recall class: Weapon skill type: Supplementary range: 200m tier: I description: Using this ability returns the users sword to its sheath instantly.
(1, III) name: Wait for it... class: Weapon skill type: Offensive range: 100m tier: III description: Striking the opponent, but dealing no damage or impact, this ability allows Yorishou to delay an attack for up to 3 posts. Weak attacks get upgraded to tier III, stated in posts if this is used. If any remain after this time then they are automatically activated all at once. Maximum of 5 hits can be saved at one time, no limit to activations per post, body, sword part or visibility.

She felt it before she saw it. The crunch of metal as her gauntlet's fist clenched upon itself was all the warning she needed to get the hell out of there. Her leverage was gone and she had no idea where his sword had disappeared to, which put her in a seriously dangerous position. Not even bothering to finish the incantation of the kido, effectively cancelling the flow of reiryoku, she launched herself backwards with an almighty shunpo putting her a total of some 15 meters away after she had leaped backwards sufficient distance, which Yori seemed to have imitated. Her mind ticked away; she could afford to do this because the training ground was flat, nice, soft ground. Should terrain come into play, this would not be so simple. As she was propelling herself in reverse, she missed the hammer by a hair's breadth, but was lucky enough to get a clear shot of what had happened. He appeared to have drawn it from the sheath his sword was in. It would take her a few more moments to clue it out, especially in the heat of battle, but it began to dawn on her how he'd managed to get his zanpakuto away.
A grin split her porcelain face in twain and played upon her shapely lips for but a few moments. So these eleventh division soldiers... They weren't all bark and bite. That was a fairly intelligent move for a sword monkey, and she had to commend him for it, though she wondered what other nasty little tricks he might have up his sleeve. She eyed the hammer suspiciously. It looked enormous but that didn't mean that he wouldn't be able to operate it with great speed. Either his zanpakuto had turned into a hammer, though she hadn't heard him chant a verse to release the sword, or it was some form of kido, or other technique.
She prowled now, looking for an opening. She really did feel rusty. She had no idea how strong he was, her own reiatsu fluctuating between almost taicho-class and as weak as an academy student displayed her lack of control over it. They appeared to be on fairly even footing, however.

He was glad she had 'stepped' back, it meant she was on the same page as him in terms of having a break from the fight. It was good to have these moments, Yorishou hated constant up close fighting, he needed moments to relax and calm his mind. A moment to think and breath. She was probably using it as time to analyse his fighting ability or how strong he was. Kids these days.
"Not bad, I was lucky to have such a conveniant skillset there" he nodded in respect to her. It was not often he was fought equally, but her skills seem similar but different to his own, meaning...well meaning this could be fun.
He hit his hammer into the floor a few times "I am not even sure if this would have dented your shield there." holding it up and inspecting the head. "But it can make a nice deterent for most situations. People see a big weapon and assume it does a lot of damage, psychological warfare was not my intention but its nice when things work out." He figured this would be a kido fight, and not for the first time wondered if he should do something about that. It certainly needed to be thought about, long distance was to be the end of him.
Post by VANESSA VÅRJEN on Jun 17, 2016 5:22:07 GMT
She dispelled the shield, no-longer needing it as the distance between them had increased. Flexing her fingers she continued to regard him with steely eyes. A nod to acknowledge his complement. She had still not completely gotten over her slight nervousness at not having a sword to combat zanjutsu users. It was one of the biggest concerns she had, that if she made a single slip, an opponent could quite easily overwhelm her. It took courage and perhaps a little recklessness for her to fight using only her Hakuda, especially given that she didn't exactly have rock hard skin like an Arrancar or anything of the sort.
"Lucky indeed." she eventually agreed. Next time she could simply grab his shihakusho. The beauty of kido-lightning was that it flowed along anything, not simply conductive surfaces. "It was the range more than anything else. I'm at somewhat of a disadvantage at such a range not having a weapon of my own, you see." she explained with a smile and a shrug. Of course that wasn't entirely true; weapon users had a minimum distance at which they could fight effectively. Using her own two hands, there was no minimum distance, however as compensation her range was not so great. She mulled it over a little more before continuing to speak.
"I understand what you mean though. It's a pretty useful bakudo, people don't expect it to be quite as strong as Hado 32, Okasen." there was very little change in tone for the last three words, there was only one thing that would give away what she was about to do. Especially to an 11th squadder who knew very little kido, who might not have caught the brief flick of the wrist. What he would catch, however, was the enormous arc of yellow fire, blistering towards him at half the speed of a Bala from a mere 15 meters away. If he managed to avoid this, she would be very impressed, but she wasn't done. Just to make sure she loosed another kido. The roar of the Okasen would mask her words as she incanted; "Hado 33, soukatsui." This kido, however, would not come from Nessa herself. It would come from just above and behind Yori, ten meters away, right in his blind spot. She adjusted the point of origin such that should he dodge backwards or upwards; the only directions available to him given the incredible breadth of an Okasen at this range, that he would likely be hit by the attack.
Following this, whatever the outcome, she flash stepped to some thirty meters above him so as to survey the result of the cataclysm, especially when the two Kido met. She had little doubt that they would explode violently.

"Oh for f---s s--- -o- ----- ---- ---- ------ ------ --" is all that could be heard from Yorishou over the sound of the dual kido charging towards him. As well as the noise from his own sneaky tactic he learnt a while ago. He had first used this during a fight with another kido user, and it was usefull then so why not now. The front kido had made him cocky, activating his Abyss Armour to tank it head on. However, it was not until he sensed the second one from behind, that he saw the prediciment he was in.
Charging his reiatsu into a tight stream and sending it into the ground on one point below him, he simply did what all shinigami with a strong enough reiatsu presense did, but this time not as a side effect. He released his reiatsu, letting it explode uncontrollably underneath him with seconds to spare. Earth exploding upwards and he fell into a crater of his own creation, the dirt not touching him due to Germaphobe Clause. As he fell, his back was struck, the tip of the kido from behind him striking his defensive. Sending him flying down into the crater faster than he intended, his legs tripping and chin slamming into the ground. The kido would turn to a magnificent wave of black marble that would surge over his body and fall around him, filling the crater with its peices. Though none hurting him.
He had no idea the names of the kido, or what they would do if they hit him. The blast of reiatsu certainly would not have effected them. However the blast the kido made when they struck eachother less than a meter above his head was something indeed. A rainbow and more of colour and light, a simaltanious tinkle and shatter of a thousand or more shards of black marble as the remains of the first kido hit the second. He could feel the power of the other kido, though it travelled overhead, the very sense of it sending a stinging pain down his back.
He took a second to breath, his head shaken, chin bleeding and eyes blurry. Yorishou waited for the floor to stop spinning, then stood as the dust and sand cleared. Smoke rose from his body, his burnt back unclenching but stinging as they hit the fresh air that swept into the aftermath. It seems that second kido had hit him more than he thought. He could sense her, standing there above her, probably smug. Maybe concerned? Arrogant? Overcome with hubris or holding back. Whatever the case he would not attack, fighting in the air made things...complicated. And he was not in the mood for complicated. He took off his shredded kimono, black trousers for the bottom but now topless, his muscles curled under his skin. "Are you holding back on me? Geez" putting a hand through the blood trimmed hole in the back of his kimono then throwing it to the side. He ran his left hand through his hair and kicked a peice of marble away from him. "I am not going to fight in the air, meet me on the ground or meet me in a restaurant." he threw in, veiling the intention to leave behind a joke.

She watched the middle of the arc of fire turn to marble. It was evident at this point that he was intent on avoiding the kido, and so she would have to keep up with a relentless barrage, if nothing else so as to dictate the flow, ferocity, and pace of combat. She had flash stepped to be immediately above as soon as her previous kido had been fired, and soon as she exited her step it was apparent that she would need to continue. "Bakudo 42, Saikin." she said her voice masked by the kido, and at the same time, even Vanessa, whose sense of reiatsu was legendarily bad, could detect the large clenching of Yori's reiatsu in order to... He was digging himself a hole? Of course! She watched the explosion take place above him, which was also quite close to her; she felt a slight singeing as the two techniques clashed, and her bakudo lanced through the aftermath. It would arrive at Yorishou's location before the smoke had really started to clear.
"I would never go easy on anyone." she told him in a trill contralto. "I am more than a little rusty though. I need to do some revision." she admitted with a smile before pausing to consider his demand that she codown and fight on the ground. After she'd already told him that she was at a disadvantage at close range? She thought not. "Well you can stay there if you like, but that does kind of give me free reign to throw kido at you for as long as I like."
Only c/p'd the relevant bit of the tech (the rest is just contingencies) 2x strength atm. Name: Adaptation Class: Shikai Tier: II Type: Passive Range: Self Description: This ability is an augmentation that passively grants Nessa either double speed or double strength. The buff is given to the stat that she is weaker in, relative to her opponent. If her opponent has 2 strength advantages but 3 speed advantages, the buff goes to speed, etc.
Name: Bakudo #42 Saikin (Golden Restrain) Class: Kido Type: Binding Tier: IV Range: 50 Meters Incantation: Oh great King, seal thy opponent in thou great demise through fate! Description: An enhanced variation of Bakudō #1, Sai. The user fires five beams of golden light from one hand's fingertips that can bind multiple targets or multiple limbs of the same target. The downside to this Kidō is the fact that the user can't move their selected hand without diminishing or breaking the beams unless they are of Taichō class power, in which they would easily be able to move their hands.

He saw them too late, they struck through the smoke and had him before he had a chance to move more than an inch. Five beams of probably a binding kido wrapped around him and held him still. He could probably have found a way out but he was tired of this fight now and did not have the energy to resist.
He wriggled a little, then sighed, looking up at the girl with a not amused face on and one eyebrow arched as if to say 'really'. "If you are not going to fight on equal ground then I have no further interest in this spar I am afraid." he was saddened slightly by these events, he thought she could have had potentiol if she wasnt so...well rude. In a real fight he would not be so picky but in a spar he had no interest to remain if he had no interest in remaining.
He looked back down at his binds "The way I see it we have three options" Looking back up at her, and sighing again. Though this time to get the smoke and sandy air away from his face. "You can leave me tied up and stick holes in me with kido, which sounds like fun for the whole family. You can let me go, and we resume the fight on the ground. Or you let me go and I go and get a burger because to be honest I am a little hungry now." his voice contained no humour, slightly tired and full of what could only be described as non offensive patronisation.

"Well if that's the case." she said with a smirk. "There's not all that much point in carrying on." she released the bakudo. "You guys really need to work on not getting shiv'd by long range attacks, you know that?" she asked, dropping once more back to the ground. She would have relaxed her reiatsu if she had anything resembling control over it.
"There's no need to get upset." she said referencing his obvious attitude and disdain. She could have done much worse; he was at her mercy, and taking a Hado 90 to the face with a full incantation behind it would more than likely have put him in hospital. It was a charitable deed, in fact, that she'd opted not to do so and had decided to let him go. She flexed her fingers. She still felt a little limited; time to learn more kido, probably. It seemed there was something for whatever she might want to do, all she had to do was go through and learn them properly, which obviously took time.
"Way out's that way." she pointed towards the food district of the Seireitei. No-way would she be going with someone quite so limp-dicked though, he could forget that no matter how charming he'd been.

Yorishou inclined his head as the bind was released but not did reply to her goad. He was used to insults by now being part of the 11th they daily got shouted at for being only sword-close combat fighters. He had been insulted by much stronger, ranking superior and well...better looking than her. So the long ranged dig did not phase him at all, and he turned and walked away from the crater. He was glad she had released him, she could have thrown kido at him, he could have gotton out and gone up there. The possibilities could have gone on for hours, but the choices are what makes a warrior remembered. Or something like that.
He was not sure if he would ever see her again, not that it really mattered. On a better day he may have indulged her, but today he was set firmly on stone, both in mind and in body. And as he walked out of the training grounds all he could think of, was now then, where is that burger.
