Pros: She no longer had that nasty dead body smell! Yay!
Cons: Her arms and legs were still moving stiffly, and the time she had to take off to perform maintenance on her body really wasn’t going to help her reputation as “the ill girl” at school.
Pro number 2: Being “the ill girl” meant that she always had a ready made excuse for skipping out of school! Yay again!
Caitlyn Enfys, full time student, part time stuffed animal, whistled happily to herself as she skated her way towards school. With more than strictly natural grace she dodged her way around pedestrians, cyclers, even flipping her way over a car that decided it was okay to stop right in the way of the crosswalk at a red light. She didn’t even slow down a bit during the whole thing.
As a result she arrived at school with plenty of time to spare. Her roller skates were exchanged for indoor shoes at the shoe locker and she made her way up in the direction of her classroom. Along the way Caitlyn met up with one of her friends, just a normal school girl with no knowledge of the supernatural or anything that went with it. That was when she first heard the news, a new student joined their class while she was absent with her illness.

Honestly Caitlyn found herself unable to muster the same sort of energy that her compatriot had on the topic. Heh, getting excited over a new student was just such a… mundane thing that it just amused the century old mod soul more than anything else.
All that changed the moment she felt the first traces of Reiatsu from the new student.
