Touching ground again Gage slaps his hands to his knees, laughing riotously for a good minuet. "I have never ridden in a bubble before, that was by far one of the most interesting things that I have ever done." Catching his breath Gage wipes a tear from his eye, standing up and dusting himself off before he takes a deep breath. Gage watches Kvothe's attention wander, drifting towards the water.
"Yeah it would but every time that it happens I completely lose it. There have even been times where I wake up and don't remember what happened," Once Gage even used his Full Bring out in the field, a small solo skirmish against a hollow getting out of hand but none the less Gage needed the boost in strength. By the time he had woken up he was over thirty miles away, his body nearly frozen from the snow half way up a mountain side. His shirt and jacket was gone, no phone or electronics to help him find his way back. Only a few meters away the dead hollow is slowly fading away convincing him that he had some how injured it enough to make it flee and he followed it out to here.
"If you could ever learn how to control a Hollow and get them to turn so that they would fight on our side then that would be better than any other ability that I have found in all my time. There is not a whole lot of things that are stronger than the ability to make your opponent fight on your side." It was a long shot but if Kvothe was able to control Gages emotions enough to pull him out of his Fullbring then with some time and training perhaps he could learn to completely control something with his 'bubbles'.
"Alright, here we go..." Gage was a bit hesitant, not sharing his friends enthusiasm for the experiment. Grabbing his hunters necklace he lets all emotion fade from his face. Green light shoots out of his hand and vanishes into his chest, knocking him onto his back. Arching his back Gage's face contorts with pain, the feeling of his arms being on fire spreading from his fingertips all the way to his shoulders. His arms, or what part can be seen, start changing color from his light skin tone to a deep bright blood red. If anyone were to look closer they would find that the veins and capillaries in his skin were all rupturing letting his blood surface. Sitting up he gets up to his feet, the color change continuing all the way through his body but instead of matching his arms his skin changes to a shade of dark grey with a large white 'X' crossing his face.
"Its your turn," Gage looks at Kvothe, wondering how this Fullbringer would take his unique transformation. "I have one more step to take and then its all you."

Kvothe watched as the other Fullbringer began to change. He'd never witnessed another person transform since it almost always happened on the battlefield; questions upon questions came to mind, but the primary was simple. Were all transformations aside from his own this violent? He'd heard that there were different types of Fullbrings did it correlate to that, or was it simply the fact that Gage's was more Hollow like? No matter the answer to his question, Kvothe couldn't take his eyes off of what was going on in front him. The Bringer's light grabbed his attention first; it sparkled and flashed, dancing from Gage's hand, before and disappearing suddenly into his chest as though fusing with him. Gage fell backward as though pushed, and then the madness began. Gage looked as though he was being electrocuted from Kvothe's perspective, his back was arched and his face was twisted. Kvothe wanted to step in, to stop what was happening, but he thought it wise to let everything sort itself out. Gage had done this before, otherwise he would never have agreed to such a test. Kvothe continued to watch carefully, gathering his spiritual energy so that he'd be ready if anything went awry. By the time Kvothe had refocused his thoughts Gage was on his feet. He looked different, as though someone had shaded him to be more demonic. It almost reminded Kvothe of a video game he'd played once. Gage spoke then, urging Kvothe to release his Fullbring and Kvothe obliged.
Kvothe began to let go of the spiritual energy he had gathered earlier. It spread through him like waves on a gentle beach that would eventually erupt into a tsunami. Kvothe liked to call this the 'Eye of the Storm'. Unbeknownst to Gage, when Kvothe released Vortice near substantial amounts of water it caused them to dance until the release was complete. His blue-green reiatsu began to swirl, mixing with the Bringer's light to create a dazzling display of what could have been a normal occurrence. Kvothe loved being flashy, and if he could do this purposely he would brag about it all day, but he had no control over the way it looked. He simply started the chain reaction. Kvothe smirked, as the Japanese characters on his arms began to glow as well and shift moving to down and reshaping themselves as a curtain of water swirled around the young Fullbringer.
"Alright Vortice," Kvothe said as the show began to draw to a close, "let's weave a torrent." Along Kvothe's arms his tattoos had ceased being words and were now revolvers the color of his reiatsu along his arms. "Bang." He said crossing his arms.
Gage stood still watching his companions own Full Bring Release, something that he rarely ever gets to actually take in, the most common time that people using their release being during the middle of combat. Unlike Gage's, who's own Full Bring was violent and almost Satanic in design, his friends Full Bring was more of an Ocean, soothing and calm to the eyes. He couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to have a full ring that wasn't so painful to undergo, his having always been painful. He has not met a lot of other Full Bringers whos powers are normally hidden in the heat of battle along with the pain of his own.
In all reality it has been a long time since he had unleashed his full brain without being in some form of danger the time that passed making him almost go into denial about the pain. Certainly it couldn't hurt like this all the time. If this experiment does not work then Gage is going to take it upon himself to make sure that he does not release while he is with Kvothe, the dangers of his release being a bit too much for him to handle. He was certain that if 'Polarity' decided to send Kvothe with him then he would be able to subdue him but almost certainly at the risk of his own bodily injury. This was it, the experiment that would either make his Fullbring something that no ally ever gets to see again or something that he can learn to control, the blood lust being able to be curved and regulated. Only time and patience will tell if this can be done.
Normally Gage does not put himself into other people hands entirely but Kvothe seemed to know what he was doing, his own Fullbring being able to at least curb negative feelings and emotions enough to function. It is time for him to put a little faith into others and stop running on his own all the time. Perhaps Kvothe would be the one to break that habit. Taking a breath Gage releases his last fullbring ability. Digging his fingertips into his chest he makes a ripping motion as if he were ripping a shirt off. Red energy explodes from his chest, flooding over his body like fire and coating him in a thin aura of light. His entire being now is red flame, no more distinguishable details apparent on his body save for his right hand having a small hole the size of a golf ball with a bone jaw set around it. Even his face was shrouded in energy, his eyes putting off a black energy fire and his mouth being the only part on his body that does not actively put off flame. Opening his mouth in what looks like a scream of pain Gage falls to his knees, his fists slamming into the dirt with smoke billowing up from everything that is touching the ground as if his whole body was red hot Iron.
That was it, that was all gauge could remember doing before his vision swims red and his memory of the situation fades for away.
CLAD: Hellfire Inferno 'Gōka Moeru Jigoku' Class: Release CLAD Tier: II Type: Offensive Range: 100m Description: Rage incarnate, with the activation of this technique Gage has a tendency to lose himself in his hollow origins and become aggressive, attacking his enemies like a monster. This ability is entered when he no longer has any sealing rings around the main seal on his chest and he receives another 'Hellfire Stack' or if he chooses to enter it prematurely. When this ability activates his entire body is coated in red energy making all details on him in perceivable and making him seem like a being made of pure energy. One noticeable detail though is that the center of his right hand has a hole straight through, a white bone jaw around the hole with sharp teeth lining it. While in this state he gets a Passive Tier II additional damage to anything that his reiatsu touches under foot, by hand or through attacks. This ability lasts for one post per Hellfire stack that he has. After this ability is completed it enters a cooldown of one post before either Hellfire Inferno 'Gōka Moeru Jigoku' or Hellfire Candle 'Gōka taimatsu' can be reactivated

To say that what followed next was unsettling would be an understatement; the Gage that Kvothe had come to know seemed to fade out of existence as this new being took his place. Though Kvothe did watch the transformation for any signs of weakness, he did not do so idly. As Gage tore at his chest, in what Kvothe couldn't tell was a painful motion or not, Kvothe snapped; the sound reverberated for a moment, before water spun about Kvothe's feet in a circle and expanded outward about two meters. Kvothe looked up as the flourish or his ability came to a close. There was an energy that Kvothe could only think was Gage's reiatsu exploding from the Fullbringer's chest. It spread, covering his body like a spreading wildfire. Kvothe rubbed his eyes quickly and looked at Gage again. He appeared to be made entirely of that same red energy. Gage screamed or at least it appeared he did before slamming into the ground, causing a small smoke cloud to form around him.
'Is his body that hot? If so I'll need to keep my distance...maybe I can cool him off.' A thousand thoughts ran through Kvothe's mind as they always did when he needed to formulate a plan. The plan came quickly: he needed to go on defense until he understood the danger he was in and had an opening to start up the waterworks.
"Hey Gage if you're in there you should whip out your umbrella," Kvothe said forming water in his hands, "It's a terrible day for rain..."
Name: Ripples Class: Release Tier: II Type: Supplementary Range: 50 meters Description: The user creates a “saturated zone” about 2 meters in diameter that can be manipulated by anyone who can soul communicate and is of the same element. The user may then manipulate said area to cause things within to accelerate or decelerate (this is equal to a x2 buff or debuff); when chosen anything inorganic that passes through takes on the effect of the zone. The user, however, may choose whether or not they are affected. Additionally, Ripples interacts with Kvothe’s other abilities.
Name: A Terrible Day for Rain Class: Release Tier: II-III Type: Defensive Range: 20 meters Description: When activated this tech forms a liquid shield that moves at half-bala speeds, hardening when it reaches its destination. The shield moves on it’s own, rushing to protect a chosen target from any danger within reach of his reiatsu, persisting for 3 posts. Resisting the damage is calculated using the Fullbring mastery, should the attacker have more advantages the weakened attack goes through and is calculated normally, and the tech must cool down for a post. When accelerated, This tech becomes less durable but when the shield is broken, its user gains knowledge of the workings of the attack that broke it. When decelerated, The shield becomes more durable and coats the target in a liquid armour.
Anger, pure anger. Gage stands slowly his back slouched and his stance weak as he raises himself up. Pure blood lust. He was desperate for something, for the ability to rend and reek havoc on anything that he could get his hands on. The world was his oyster and he needed to shell it, leaving all its meaty bits on the floor. In front of him a man stands, what man? Did he know this man? Perhaps he did once. But no more, this man was fodder, he was food to feed his appetite for horror. Bleed, something must bleed. The man was speaking but he could hear nothing, not a recognizable sound reached his ears, it was as if he were living in a massive filter, draining all the meaning from the world. A threat? Gage was out of his mind, his behavior being something more kin to a animal caged too long for fights, his head turning slightly to look at the man better with one eye, head cocked slightly sideways to hear better.
Crouching down slightly and cocking his arms Gage opens his mouth, his jaw appearing to dislocate and open farther than any flesh and blood being should. Doing a deep chested chuckle at first he rolls his shoulders backwards, unleashing a roar that would make a full blooded hollow shudder in horror. Birds in the distance stop chirping, insects going silent leaving them alone to deal with the situation that they had started.

Kvothe took a deep breath; the roar, the way he stood, the unresponsiveness to Kvothe's words or actions: this was not Gage or, at least, not an iteration of Gage that Kvothe recognized. A chill ran down his spine and the same time fear began to crawl up it. Kvothe didn't need to extend his reiatsu to feel the killing intent radiating off of the man that stood before him. Kvothe wanted to run, wanted to succumb to the fear that the disheartening roar had placed inside of him, but somewhere beneath the swirl of emotions he knew that his will to battle still existed. He knew that if this was Gage's blight, then he had no choice then to help his new ally. Kvothe took another breath before taking a stance and darting toward the left. After about two steps he'd be out of Ripples range, once he left that range he'd snap again, he'd repeat this process until the lake was between them.
'The more Ripples I create, the bigger impact it has on the ocean.' Kvothe began to strategize as he moved. The only thing he knew for sure was that he couldn't touch Gage as things were, 'which isn't a huge deal...I attack from a distance anyway.' Moreover, he had the small lake on his side and the element of rational thinking. Kvothe kept his eyes on Gage; if he stoppped Kvothe now he will have only succeeded in creating three Ripples and the water wouldn't be between them. Kvothe needed more time. He needed about two minutes to get to the distance he desired, giving him ten ripples formed in a line along the bank of the lake.
"Gage, I know you're in there pal. Just hold on I'll get this sorted out." Kvothe said, a look of concern on his face. And what if he couldn't? 'Poseidon only knows just how long this could take and there's still the mission to deal with.' Things could get hairy really fast.
The bloodlust was in satiable. All he wanted was to get his hands on that man, pulling and twisting at every limb he could touch. He was a monster and he knew it. He could feel it in his bones, aching to injure everything that happened to have an ounce of blood in them. The urges grew so strong, so overwhelming that if not just for a moment a spark of consciousness flip back into his eyes, showing that the urges were so unnatural to him that he could not live under their controlling shadow. Watching the man dark across the water surface like a Jesus lizard he tilts his head, trying to understand what it is that the man is doing. Just as quickly as he was gaining control it faded away again. The beast inside rows up to the surface pushing him into a primal hunt.
Taking a step forward his feet touch the water, steam instantly blowing off of them as supernatural amounts of heat flash boil the water. His feet sink into it first, almost down to the ankle before a small spark of green electricity down his leg and push his foot back up and out of the water, turning the whole surface of the lake into a smooth platform for him to walk across. Taking a few steps across the water to test its resilience the beast crouches down, taking a monster like stance with his hands on the ground like clause on a tiger. Lunging forward it begins, the hunt has started.
Crossing the surface of the water in massive leaps and bounds, every time his hands and feet touch the water and massive splash of steam and missed float up from where they contact the surface. Like this he charges, passing over these 'Ripples' and slowing down with each one she passes. Almost in voluntarily as if he were being held down underwater.

Gage was fast, faster than Kvothe had expected; moreover, he could move across the water as though it were solid ground. While the second fact caught Kvothe off guard; it didn't scare him. In fact, this was quite possibly the perfect outcome and he hadn't even planned it. Kvothe cast a headlong glance behind him, still snapping. He was lucky the beast was so intent on killing him that it hadn't stopped to strategize; as what was once Gage slowed down, Kvothe began to pull ahead of him. Like a stone cast into a lake, Kvothe's planning had led him to the second phase of his plan. His shield had yet to do it's work, but with any luck he wouldn't need it. Three more ripples stood between him and the end game he had planned. Kvothe snapped again as he jumped into the air, the snap resonated and created a sphere that appeared to hold a still lake. As the sphere appeared, Kvothe aimed at Gage, his hands in the shape of pistols. Blue-green energy arced from his forearms before manifesting as bullet shaped raindrops at his fingertips. The bullets flew out and collided with the sphere as Kvothe snapped again. The bullets were aimed at Gage's face, but would be easy for the beast to block; damaging it was not his goal. He simply sped them up in order to ensure they'd at least be noticed. If all went well, the beast would block the bullet's or at the very least take them head on. The result would be a localized steam cloud due to the heat resonating from his pursuer. With any luck, the steam would buy Kvothe enough time to catch Gage within Waterworks.
These ripples seem so familiar. It was as if you had seen them before, in some faraway lifetime that he had moved away from. Everything about this man hinted that they already knew each other but that was impossible, A beast has no friends, no acquaintances or allies. They are just that. They are beasts that hunt and kill for pleasure. Pulling himself out of his mile daydream the beast sees sudden flash of movement flying towards him. Slashing out with one arm his clawed hand rips through the first projectile, A cloud of steam and energy flooding off of the impact zone blinding everything within 2 m of it. As it was right at arms reach Gage himself is blinded by the white red fog.
Instincts takes over, planting one foot the beast completely locks its legs down it coming to a halt so suddenly that it almost feels like it vanished. This however did not allow the beast to evade the second bullet. Slamming into his face with full force it is enough to knock his head backwards and almost hit him off balance but it would take much more than that to get him down. Swiping at the fog with his hands he slashes, the energy from his hands ripping through the fog and leaving small openings that allows anyone outside to look in and see the red flooding energy emanating from inside the fog. It was pure instinct that controlled him now, instinct that told him not to move if you cannot see, not to act if you cannot kill it.
The monsters instinct controlling him make him do something that he would either regret or forget. From outside the fog all they would be able to see is that the core seems to grow a bright blood red. Inside however it is a storm, a blizzard of pure rage, his roars echoing across the surface of the water. Streams of red energy form out of the air and condense at his open mouth. This only takes a moment, the point where all the energy focus is growing in size and intensity until he releases it. A 1 foot wide beam of red energy explodes from the fog out to the side, dragging its way across the top it splits the fog in half like a knife cutting open a watermelon from the inside. Suddenly the red beam becomes erratic, darting back-and-forth across the front of the fog cutting apart like a sword that reaches out into the horizon.
Standing there, gasping for air and trying to regain himself is the beast. Winded from the sudden expenditure of energy he looks straight at Kvothe, Completely silent. The displeasure was obvious in his eyes. What would he do next?

Kvothe watched as the first bullet was easily swiped away, just as he planned. A cloud of steam formed around Gage, making it impossible to tell whether the second bullet had hit Gage or not; Kvothe wasted no time trying to figure it out, he clasped his hands together and began to pour his spiritual energy into them. A thought crossed his mind, then: why hadn't Gage emerged from the smoke? From where Kvothe stood he could see small tears in the fog as though someone were trying to claw their way out but no movement. Before Kvothe had time to finish pondering the question, he felt a surge of powerful reiatsu. It confused him; with his inability to do much more than sense other spiritual beings nearby Kvothe was left wondering what that could have possibly been. The question quickly answered itself, as the center of the steam cloud began to glow bright red. A roar followed it and before Kvothe could fully understand what was happening a beam of red energy shot out and destroyed the fog.
'Was that a cero?' Kvothe looked at Gage, puzzled, as the beast looked back at him. His breathing was ragged as though the burst of energy was something that he hadn't expected. Had he even done it on purpose? Kvothe didn't waste time thinking about it, if the beast was tired and within Ripples this was his chance. Kvothe released the energy he had been charging and let a bubble form around him. He snapped and to the untrained eye it would appear Kvothe had disappeared; Gage was not untrained, however. If he were expecting it, or at the very least paying close attention he could tell that Kvothe had moved almost instantly to another location. Kvothe smiled as he appeared behind Gage about ten meters away and fired four bullets at him, before snapping again. The next time he appeared it would be beneath him; Kvothe hoped that the distraction shots would work a second time. Even if they didn't, unless Gage figured out that Kvothe was lurking beneath the water's surface he would become encased in the bubble that Kvothe had prepared.
Description: The user creates a bubble at target location, initially this bubble is fragile and can be broken with some effort, however, once the bubble has encircled something it can only be broken at equal advantages. Anything that happens to be inside the bubble will appear to become weightless, floating along with the bubble. Additionally, any being trapped in the bubble will start to feel as though they don’t have a care in the world. While being affected by Ripples, the bubbles generated can be manipulated rather than just existing. When accelerated bubbles act as transport, moving so fast that a normal human would think the user has teleported. When decelerated the bubble and whatever is inside of it will trade properties. For example, if a house were inside the bubble, the bubble would become as heavy as and durable as a house while whatever was inside would become as fragile as the bubble.
Gage has never seen it before, this man that he hunts somehow is forming bubbles. Massive flooding bubbles that are large enough to encase entire people. This could not be a random phenomenon, the man being the source of the huge amount of energy pouring into the water. Raised hand snaps for finger middle finger and thumb together to distract him but a flash of movement catches his eye. Gage is fast, faster now that his instincts are driving his behavior rather than an active thought. This blur, faster than any human being could see, darted around and vanished behind him. Reactively he spins about swinging his left arm in a wide arch, the blood red energy pouring off of his arm.
Rather than flying off though this energy clings to his arm extending it with its increased reach. It was as if he was pouring his own spiritual energy into his arm and then molding it into a massive limb. Rather than flying off though this energy clings to his arm extending it with its increased reach. It was as if he was pouring his own spiritual energy into his arm and then molding it into a huge limb. At the end of the arm a massive hand rakes the air, attempting to catch Kvothe mid step but he is a step too far away, the hand clawing at the air inches in front of him. If it were not for the fact that he had just used all that energy in that energy being to come apart the fog then he would have been able to reach all the way out, his energy being a little spent at the time.
Once again he is caught off guard by the four flying projectiles. Raising his arms in an X-shaped he does what he can to fend them off. The first two impact his arms splashing off into different directions while the third impacts him square in the stomach splashing with enough force to rip off some of the red energy shrouding his body. It is the fourth that gets him, impacting him on the left cheek bone it rips away the shroud and exposes all the skin underneath, undamaged.
Under normal circumstances he would've been enraged, The insult being struck so many times in such a short period being enough to send them into a blood fury rivaling that of Vikings. That was not the case though, once again watching over him like a wave of calm joy, a second bubble forms all around him, the same as when he was conscious and behave like a civil human being. It is soothing and soft, relaxing him and almost entirely taking away the monsterous attitude that he had developed.
It was magical, it was like all the anger and hate that he had in his body was suddenly suppressed into a tiny mote of light as some other worldly figure smothered it with their thumb. The flames coding his body flickering fade as if the fuel source that they were running on suddenly cut. It was like a switch had flipped in his head, something just 'come on' making him remember everything that he has ever done while in his enraged form. At first all he felt was guilt, like a wave of sadness before the power of the bubble kicked back in and wipped that feeling from his mind. The it was sheer awe at the things that he was capable of in his released form. Everything before now was fuzzy but this was as clear as glass.
"I think it worked Kvothe. Did you see that? That beam thing was amazing!" Perhaps his attitude was being manipulated a bit by the bubble still. "And I made a giant claw thing! My god it was massive! Holy crap that was amazing!"

Kvothe emerged from the water, oddly enough his clothes were undamaged and completely dry. He trudged over to the bank and sat down, panting. Though he had practiced religiously with his Fullbring that was the first time he'd used his abilities in such a manner. The rapid use of Vortice was more than enough to make him tired, but as he pulled the bubble containing Gage over to him he smiled brightly.
"If you weren't trying to kill me it would have been amazing to see those abilities! I mean was that a cero or was it like something you could do," Kvothe looked over at Gage for a moment another thought starting to cross his mind, "so it worked...now all we need to do is figure out a way to keep the bubble on hand when you need it. is there anyone back at HQ who could make something like that or are we on our own?" While Kvothe waited for Gage to respond he cast a glance up at the sky. The sun had started it's descent and was now low over the horizon. Kvothe didn't remember how much time Gage said they had to prepare for the mission, but he was positive they had spent the better part of it fighting to gain some semblance of control over Gage's Fullbring. Kvothe stood and released Gage from the bubble. There was a lot that the two would need to do from here on; Kvothe would let Gage take the lead.
Gages whole body ached, The large expenditure of energy tiring him out. In all reality he has never used so much energy at once, the fatigue that The large expenditure of energy tiring him out. In all reality he has never used so much energy at once, the fatigue that I put on it put him under rival that of running a marathon. " honestly I've never done that before, I don't know what that thing was but if you asked me look like a Cero. I hope to God it's not though, I don't know what I would do if I found out that I was turning even more into a hollow. "
It wasn't immediately obvious at first but Gage could feel the difference now. Before she could feel his full bring all the time, it was something that seemed to have a place inside of him but it was always wrapped with a steel shelves so that he could never feel around inside and know what he was capable of or what his full bring to do. But now it seems different, he could still feel his full bring inside of him but there was no more shell hiding it core. He could feel his full bringing energy inside, burning bright red like a sun. He could even feel the individual traits of his full bring, each of them being like a small branch to his primary ability.
"I'm not going to lie, I don't think I need that anymore. I feel like you doing that the one time I somehow made whatever it is in me that freaks out calm down. I think that I can handle my full bring without losing my temper anymore. I don't know how else to explain it, it's like you have sedated it. I can't even remember all the times that I have gone into my full bring and lost my mind. What's more is I think I know what all of my abilities are now. It's like a dam broke and all this knowledge that I should've had before it is finally surfacing."
"The fire that covers my body and seems to burn the ground is called Gōka taimatsu. When it spreads and becomes that energy all around me it is called Gōka Moeru Jigoku. That huge red energy arm is called Ketsueki Tsume and the beam attack is called Yūrei no hōkō." All the while that he is saying this he is blinking his eyes, right then left then right eye again. Something weird seems to be happening with his vision, everything changing back-and-forth between normal colors to a weird looking grayscale where all the while that he is saying this he is blinking his eyes, right then left then right eye again. Something weird seems to be happening with his vision, everything changing back-and-forth between normal colors to a weird looking grayscale where Kvothe is a bright white light and the trees are a darker shade of gray. It was as if he could see spiritual energy altogether now. He can even see it in his hands, burning such a brilliant shade of white that he has two wins to keep it from hurting his eyes.

Kvothe listened intently as Gage explained the new feelings he harbored about his Fullbring; outwardly Kvothe smiled, happy to have been able to help his new new friend. Inwardly however, Kvothe began thinking that things could not have been that easy; a Fullbring maturing was akin to it growing up alongside it's wielder...at least that's how Kvothe had come to understand it. Though Kvothe wouldn't say this to Gage, he didn't believe that the beast was sedated...he thought that they might have freed it; he watched as Gage blinked one eye at a time, getting more unnerved. Kvothe was no expert, but he had always pondered the existence of Hollows. Kvothe believed that a hollow was created when someone with a great amount of spiritual energy let said energy consume them; he had always been able to see ghosts and believed that manifestation to be someone who was formerly alive existing as spiritual energy. If his theory were to be believed then Fullbringers were at more risk of becoming Hollows due to the nature of their powers, and Gage was even more exposed than most others. No...Kvothe didn't think they had sedated it; it had tasted that powers of someone who could go toe to toe with it, someone Gage trusted. It was dormant, slumbering until Gage was weak enough to be twisted by it's influence. Kvothe made a mental note to keep an eye on Gage and hoped to the heavens that he was wrong about the nature of his powers.
"So," Kvothe said pulling himself out of his thoughts, "if we've got you all sorted out let's go test your powers. We've still got a mission to finish."
( you hit the nail on the head. His full bring has figured out that there are others out there that can play the same game that he does. Now he is going to wait until Gage is too weak to resist and he's going to take control and go absolutely insane. Plus this has unlocked mine Reiyoku techs and my missing three techs.)
A decent size wave of relief washes over him as he feels the pressure of an inner demon fade away. It was as if he has been carrying around a madman on his back and finally that person has gone to sleep. Gage could not wait to go out and test his new abilities, it was as if by the second he was getting more and more energy into his body, The soreness and aching fading away faster than it had come on. Still getting used to his weird vision he rubs his eyes finally getting the weird grayscale to go away for a moment. " I can't believe I've gone this long without being able to see Reiatsu. I always used to think that it was unnecessary, like everyone just kept telling me that I need to have it just because everyone else seem to have it. I thought I could get by without it but now that I actually can see it I realize that this ability could come in handy in so many different situations."
"Alright we can do one of two things, we can either call it a day if you're tired or we can migrate this to a night hunt. If we are going to do this at night we might consider getting a bite to eat now. But if we are going to do it tomorrow I say we bunker down and get some food and call it. Personally I'm partial towards calling it a day and giving you a night to catch your breath. "

So much had happened in the past hours that Kvothe found it hard to believe that even a twinge of peace was encroaching on the two Fullbringers; Kvothe had expected the things to end with one of the two of them on the ground. It was in fact the exact opposite and though he wouldn't speak on it, he was actually relieved. Though he was confident he could hold his own or at the very least escape, but the hollowfied version of his friend had unnerved him; Gage didn't seem bothered now, but Kvothe still didn't think it wise think to pursue a hollow with both of them battle weary. Kvothe drew a breath and exhaled loudly, pushing out all of his worries alongside the air he'd briefly held in his lungs.
"You know what," Kvothe said putting put a hand on his stomach, "I could go for some cheese sticks, but uh you'll have to take the lead considering I know nothing about this place." It occurred to Kvothe that Gage had no idea he was Italian, moreover, he had never finished the story regarding his Fullbring. They could trade stories over food, Kvothe decided. He put his hands on his hips and sigh contentedly. "So...where to?"
Gage was happy to get the rest, the chance to get some sleep after such a productive day seeming unlikely but still needed. Leading Kvothe down a short path through the woods he stops at a small bunker looking building. "This is the camp, its made from an old military bunker, converted with sigils and seals to ward off hollows. It is always kept supplied with enough gear to supply a few hunters at a time, the company sending out a supply guy before we even get the mission. Its actually rather nice inside, save for the large concrete walls and lack of cheese sticks." Opening the door to the bunker Gage lets Kvothe in first, following him in to the small building that is always set up the same. Four beds line the walls, a single desk with a computer, a large chest to store gear and finally tons of lighting in the room makes this an idea room for setting up their home camp.
"Its actually the chest itself that contains all the extra food and stuff if your hungry," Gage was still excited from his new control on his Fullbring, oblivious to the feeling of concern from Kvothe. If Gage was not being so distracted by the possibility that he was free of his bursts of insanity then he would have been able to sense something in himself, a small mote of consciousness dwelling below the surface of his mind but not enough to notice unless he was actively looking for it.
Picking his bed out Gage tosses his bag down, the sack hitting the ground with a large metallic thud as it is filled with gear. Pulling off his belt buckle he drops it onto the small desk along with his necklace, the Full bringer symbol of the organization set into it. Out of his belt he pulls a large knife, almost Bowie like in size and sets it down too, still sheathed. It was not a lot of gear but it was usually all he needed to get the job done, what ever it happened to be. Sitting on his bed Gage lays back and finally starts to relax fully, "So Kvothe, where you from?"

The bunker was about as big as Kvothe expected so there was no disappointment when Kvothe stepped inside; the disappointment came about with the realization that there would be no cheese sticks. It hit him in waves: first was grief, the feeling tugging at his soul and weighing down his otherwise happy heart. Grief was the worst as it was the herald for naught but the agony that was to follow. Before Kvothe had time to process his grief he was met with anger; a blind seething rage snaked around everything he perceived, what made the delivery guy so special that he couldn't leave a box of cheese sticks for those out in the field doing the dirty work. As his anger gave way to reason Kvothe began to plead with the Gods. It wasn't as though he believed in any sort of deity, if things like that existed then the hollows that he and Gage slayed wouldn't prey on the humans of this world, and some benevolent being would have granted him cheese sticks as a reward for taming the beast that slumbered within his partner. Despite all of that Kvothe plead silently in the vain hope that he would be granted his delicious fried snack. When it became apparent that his prayers would not be answered Kvothe sank into a brief but intense depression, if one were paying attention they'd see his smile wane for a microsecond as he rethought every life choice up until that point. Had he not decided to protect the innocent he could eat cheese sticks every night at no danger to himself, but that wasn't the type of person that Kvothe was. When his father died, when Kvothe awakened the power slumbering within himself he decided that as long as he lived he would find a way to stem the flow of Hollows; even if it meant travelling to whatever twisted realm they called home, Kvothe would destroy the evil that was encroaching on this world. His resolve restored, Kvothe pulled himself from the mental breakdown and answered Gage's question:
"I'm from Italy originally; I grew up there on a vineyard with my mother..." Kvothe trailed off for a second before continuing, "I came into my Fullbring around eight years old. At first I used it solely to impress the people of my city, but as I matured so too did the power I possess." Kvothe walked over to the chest that contained his food and kicked it square in the center; it popped open in response and Kvothe grabbed a bottle of water before continuing.
"I was around thirteen when I saw my first hollow. It came seemingly out of nowhere, descending upon me and my group of friends..." Kvothe took a sip of water then spat it towards Gage. It flew as fast as a bullet, slamming into the wall and leaving a bullet sized hole, "back then my powers were weak, and that was basically the limit to what I could do; that day though I ceased being the Raindrop Marksman and became the Wandering Torrent." Kvothe pulled the water from the bottle and let it float in front of him.
"Any run of the mill Fullbringer can do this but," Kvothe allowed the water to switch states several times before speaking again, "the level of manipulation," Kvothe dispersed the water before gathering more from seemingly nowhere, "and the lack of reliance on the world around me makes me a force to be reckoned with. I can't control it completely and as such I rely on my bullets that I'm sure you remember and the abilities I developed while back home. Anyway that should about cover things any questions?" As Kvothe finished speaking he drank the water that waited patiently in front of him.
Gage had no idea the storm of emotions that we're going through his friends head. How could anyone be so attached to cheese sticks? Just a deep-fried bar of dairy, in all actuality he himself did not even like them. To deep fry something like that just seemed a little feudal to him. Perhaps though his friend would be able to find something inside the chest of food and supplies that he would be able to cheer himself up with. "That's cool, I have never met anyone from a Vineyard before. Especially not one that came straight from Italy." Reaching up and touching the wall a green spark of electricity darts from his hand over to the hole that was just punched by the water bullet. Closing itself up, the concrete wall is stretched ever so slightly thinner, so that it can compensate for the slightly lower mass that was lost by Kvothes water bullet.
Gage couldn't remember the first time that he had ever seen a hollow, they had always been around, dotting the landscape out in the massive flats of texas. It was like a fact of life and he was the only one who could see them. It caused a little tension at first because he kept seeing things that no one else could see, making his father worry that he was going to have to get admitted to some kind of hospital. But that did not happen, as soon as he realized that he was going to get himself into trouble one day for talking about these invisible things he started behaving like they didn't exist, turning a blind eye to massive beasts wandering the desert. Even as much as he tried though sometimes he couldn't help but stare at the creatures, appearing to be lost in his mind staring out into space. He had no idea what they were at the time but that ignorance lead him to be more scared of them that he should have been. It wasn't until after he had figured out that they were the fermented souls of people who just could not move on that he was less scared of them, knowing that they are just people that need help seeming to ease his mind a bit.
"What about your father?" It's true that most of the time a full bringer has some kind of horrible story that has something to do with their family but something that he has learned early on in this business is that they are all somewhat capable of dealing with that pain. Even he himself had a rough story, his powers having cost him his mother but it did not make him cry, it was just another fact of life that he would have to deal with. Just laying still, pleased with his turn of events with his powers, he can feel the pangs of hunger kicking in. He would need to find some food soon otherwise he would get a little nippy with his attitude which could lead to him picking a fight. Sitting up he finds his way over to the chest to see if he can find some thing that looks appetizing.

Kvothe was silent for a beat, watching as Gage stood to open the supplies chest. The question about his father was bound to come up eventually, but even being braced for it didn't make it sting any less. Kvothe had grown up without his father and because of that he didn't know much about him, but he did his best to relay the stories he's been told to Gage.
"As far as I know...as far as I've been told, my father was like me, a Fullbringer. He's actually the reason my mom and I are alive today; before I was born my mother was attacked by a hollow as is the case with all Fullbringers as far as I know. She was alone enjoying the sunlight out in the vineyard when something she couldn't even begin to fathom lashed out at her; I know now that what attacked her was a Hollow," Kvothe formed more water and took a drink, "I'm guessing my father had the power to heal on some level considering both my mother and I were fine; he went on to fight the damned thing and the fact that it killed him means he was either very weak or lacked any offensive capabilities. Either way, the strength of conviction he had inspires me to reach greater heights." Kvothe finished his story with a solid look at Gage, "your turn...what are you fighting for?"
