Grace in Vermillion's sealed form looks more ornamental than battle ready. It looks like a Japanese Tantō one foot total in length with a sheathe of dark red lacquered cherry wood decorated with gold filigree. It lacks a guard and instead of the traditional diamond pattern on the hilt has golden wire wrapped around the hilt to provide grip. Hana's also added various charms, trinkets, and cell phone straps onto the end, but that's just something she did, not actually part of the zan.

Grace's sword and sheathe each turn into a set of four gold and ruby rings connected by a thin gold chain, one set worn on each hand.

Name: Spreading Ruby Seeds

Range: 100m
Description: Grace's default ability. By touching something she buries a little nugget of heat inside it that she can later make explode in a conflagration of fire. These seeds are invisible to the naked eye and can't be sensed by reiatsu unless their reiatsu control gets more advantages over this tech. To thermal imaging they're as clear as day though and a tremendous swell of heat before they explode provides a moment, however brief, for a target to escape their wrath. When an enemy comes within 5 meters of a seed it explodes in a blast of fire at half-bala out to 10 meters dealing tier 3 damage. They also explode in this same manner if they are within the area of effect produced by Harvest of Flame. Planting a seed can be done basically instantly if she touches the thing she wants to plant it in with her hand, but isn't necessary. So long as Hana remains within the area that would be covered by the seed's blast radius for approximately as long as it would take to do a fully incanted kido she can plant a seed in the area, provided that what she plants it in is unattended. She couldn't plant a seed in someone else's zanpakuto that they're holding after all. Seeds can't be buried in beings. Seeds last up to 7 posts. She can also have the seeds float in the air, but doing so removes their invisibility. They appear as 1m balls of fire.

Range: 100m
Description: A ranged option to make up for Grace's weakness. Simply put, Hana plants a seed in an object and tosses it at a foe. This follows all the same rules as Spreading Ruby Seeds except the size of the explosion varies depending on the object planted in. For example, using a playing card this way might create a 1m explosion while throwing something like a bus could create up to a 100m explosion. In any case, the explosions trigger at half the distance that the explosions cover, the tossed thing can only go at up to half-bala speeds and can go up to 100m from Hana provided that none of the explosion would go past 100m from her. If what she throws misses it winds up being an example of Spreading Ruby Seeds wherever it lands, complete with the duration and various ranges of that tech. She basically just uses Planting Ruby Seeds on something and then throws it.

Class: Zanpakuto Spirit

Type: Offensive / Supplementary
Range: 5m / 50m
Description: Instead of burying a seed in another object Hana buries it in a body part or a weapon that she's using and makes an attack with it. This creates a five meter wide explosion of flame that travels at half-bala or cero speed as appropriate and deal tier damage. More importantly, the explosion lets her move around any examples of Spreading Ruby Seeds within 50m of Hana at either half-bala or cero speed. This includes being able to transfer seeds from their ground mode to air mode and vice versa.

Description: Hana manually chooses to trigger seed for a more powerful explosion. She can trigger up to five seeds at once, but every seed over one adds another post to the cooldown. These seeds explode out to 20m at Cero speed dealing tier IV damage.
