I COULDN'T HELP BUT TO LOVE YOU.
It was terribly cold. Within the small city of Karakua Town snow was falling, and it was almost dark. Evening came on, and the night was becoming gloom. In the cold and gloom a small boy, wrapped in a feathered shawl, was walking through the Karasu River reading a small story that his mother had wrote for him many years ago. 'Once upon a time, there were a hundred families all born of the same blood, and bred of the same name. None looked alike but they held their bows and looked straight ahead. Tailored in uniform of white & blue they were waiting for war to come. They were Quincy.' He was a Quincy and it was his time to fight.
The little silver tube he held in his hand, as a magician did, began to shiver and shake as the blue liquid began to coil in its glass prison. The little boy knew what they were for when he stole them from his brother; little tubes filled with magic that could protect him. But only if he could use them properly as his mother once showed him. The youngster stretched out his arms and flexed his fingers; then he threw the silver tube with his eyes staring down at the little black journal in his hand
"Strike my enemies with divine fury - Bruch!" he said.
The silver tube burst open, and the contents rolled out, then it vanished, and he was left staring at glittering blue liquid on the ground before him. He thought he should call out in anger but he found it contemptible to make such a fuss on his first try. Besides he came here knowing this would take awhile to accomplish, from what he remembered his mother told him it took her a few hours to accomplish one spell. However, he was but an infant at the time and she could've just been lying to make him feel better about his failure.
He pulled another from his shawl and tossed it same as before.
"Strike my enemies with divine fury - Bruch!" he called out.
The silver tube burned brightly and its glass soon shattered, and when it did the contents of the silver tube tumbled out in a ball of energy that moved at speed faster than what he expected. It crashed through several thin trees leaving behind a small smoky haze to symbol its aftermath. Now I think I can do it, thought the little boy, his face beginning to show the glee that he felt beneath his skin. Sneaking back to the little journal, he read his mother's notes on this spell in particular. She ranked it a low-level skill that should be mastered fairly quickly as it did not require much to use. This spell like the others was categorized by strength and currently it stood at the lowest of the many that she recorded.
He pulled another tube from his shawl once again. The glittering liquid danced inside again, and as he threw it in front of him he said,
"Strike my enemies with divine fury - Bruch!"
It became bright again, and once its prison shattered the effects repeated themselves creating a destructive ball of shining blue energy that tore through the same path as its successor.
"I did it," he said. "I actually did it!!"
The boy drew back into his mellow mood and pretended to not be excited as he turned the page of the journal and the little boy thought, Onto spell number two.
