Las Nochas. The palace of the night. The last time Inigo had been here... It had been under the command of the King of Hueco Mundo, that skeletal God of what seemed like supreme power. That was... Hundreds of years ago. It felt longer. He had heard or seen nothing of the palace in the interim. So to come and see... Well, see a spectacular ruin, a ruin of something much greater than when he had last been here. Who had built this? Who had the power? The resources? Likely, they would be a mighty ally... Or a dreadful foe. But worse still- the palace was in such disrepair. So something even greater must have come along and... And eaten them. So there was someone or something running around that could eat whatever godforsaken thing had created the palace here.
The whole thing wasn't destroyed though, so it seemed. There was a building remaining... A... Café? Inigo vaguely recognized what the hell they were, mostly from terrorizing humans by going in and eating them while they were eating. His sadism enjoyed the sense of irony when he ripped a human limb from limb before devouring them that they had come to somewhere to themselves gorge upon others. It was all just part of the same food chain.
But why in Hueco Mundo? Who would establish such an... Establishment? It made no sense to him, no sense whatsoever. He walked towards it, wondering if she should be wary, opening the door and entering- if he made it that far uninterrupted.
It was pleasing to have his old self back, in this now seemingly old place. Theocelese woke up in his chambers and prepared himself a piping hot shower and a set of fresh clothes. Nice ones, an all-black three-piece suit with a pink tie. For the hell of it, Theocelese also took to trimming his beard to give him a less barbaric of appearance. Once he was prim and proper, he set down to the kitchen and made himself a cup of coffee traditional style coffee, where the grounds were boiled instead of how most countries made theirs with a coffee pot and filters. To go with this, Theocelese fancied himself a freshly baked cinnamon roll and with this and his coffee, he chose a corner seat to keep an eye on the door. A few pages into reading an old newspaper, and already mid-bite into his cinnamon roll, a being walked through the doors. He chewed several times, letting the warm bun rest on the small plate, before raising his ceramic mug up in a greeting before taking a couple of quick sips.
“Greetings, have a seat where you'd like and I'll be with you in a few moments.” He gave a semi-warm smile, then went back to his paper. This Arrancar didn't seem troubled, and the fact a sword and shield resting upright next to him meant he wasn't exactly worried if a fight broke out.

Inigo looked around. It was like someone had just picked up a café from the human world, and had dumped it in the middle of this weird palace that was inexplicably itself dumped right in the centre of Hueco Mundo. Inigo had no idea what the hell this shit was but he didn't like it. He was more concerned with killing shit, with watching the light fade from his enemies' eyes. And the fuck was this asshole human looking dude with his human clothes and his beard and his tie? Had the world gone goddamn mad!? Inigo was usually a fairly laid-back guy. He could keep his cool. It was better that way; when you seemed calm people were more afraid. And why would he not be calm? Usually situations were simple. He could control whatever the hell was going on. But this was not a situation like that and so he immediately became agitated, his reiatsu warbling and pulsing, a bright crimson mass that clung to him like blood.
"The fuck is this shit?" he asked the Arrancar, ignoring his kind greeting. Inigo didn't want to sit. He wanted to know what was going on and then he wanted to kill and eat whoever the fuck was responsible. This guy could keep his god damned cinnamon buns and coffee for all Inigo cared. He lusted for blood, and the sanguine ecstasy of war. He wanted someone to point him in the direction of things to kill, to satiate his sadism on.
Theocelese stared at the Hollow, his eyes becoming golden-hued daggers. It was the sort of look, that when given by a man of his tastes and attire, was one that meant he was going to sort this shit out before anything even happened. Was the kind of stare a man would make before someone called him by his name, and the reply would be “Mr. Theocelese, today, my name is Mr. Theocelese”. The Arrancar took one drink from his cup of coffee, and upon letting it rest on its place holding plate, he also let his newspaper stay open against the table. With his eyes locked into the Hollow still, he moved from the table and walked over to where the newcomer stood.
“This shit, as you like to call it, is the result of my hard work, a place for me to rest and relax. Now as long as I have a say in it—and seeing as how there is no one to challenge me otherwise, when you come to my little slice of paradise, you better be waving a white flag nice and high so's that I can see it. If you don't agree with me...I would like to see you go ahead and try.”
As he was speaking, the Arrancar began to slowly unbutton his jacket and his vest, folding them up neatly and tossing them over to a nearby chair.
“Any damage you do here, I'll make it that much more painful before I feed you to someone with a bit more respect for someone else's home. I suggest we take our troubles outside.”
Post by Inigo Banderas on May 14, 2016 5:33:21 GMT
Inigo felt the intensity of the stare more than anything else. He levelled it with his own emerald orbs. Compared to the arrancar his face was oddly cartoonish. He never blinked. It was uncanny more than scary, or frightful. He looked... Unsettling. This guy just looked like any of the other assholes that Inigo would literally eat for breakfast. Mr. Theocelese was his name, eh? He was awful civilized for just another hollow but... The decisive way in which he talked, the shit talking which seemed to be more incidental than a result of any real arrogance or vanity. Inigo watched, his impressive teeth ever-bared and grinding slightly as the arrancar undressed. He was expecting a fight. He didn't want to ruin his jacket, probably. Inigo was certainly getting the sense that this arrancar was not one to be trifled with but... He wasn't some idle bootlicker. Theo was clearly self-assured. Inigo's brain whirred almost audibly as the arrancar suggest they go outside. In a purely calculated sense, all emotion and all else aside, if he and Theocelese fought outside he could ascertain whether or not the arrancar's strength was sufficient that Inigo could not eat him. If that was so he would run, if he seemed to be at risk of grave injury. If however, Theocelese could be eaten, then Inigo would commit to savagery, and would relish watching the look on his face as his home was destroyed, before he was consumed, still alive.
He doubted that would happen though. He could feel Theo's aggression through his burning reiatsu. He was set on edge feeling like he was about to be attacked and the pulsing flares of his own reiatsu were set off in response to avoid being overwhelmed. Inigo fought to kill, to feed, for fun. Theocelese felt like the kind of person for whom battle was a way of life, and Inigo wasn't sure he could stand up to such a force. He was arrogant but not to the point of stupidity. Regarding Theocelese with his visión he could tell the arrancar was bright with power.
"Sure, let's go outside so we can fucking rip each other to shreds." he said, a cold, cruel, callousness ripling through his voice for the last words. His eyes gleamed at the prospect.
{NOTES AND ERRATA}Name: Visión [Vision] Class: Hollow Technique Type: Passive Range: 100 Radial Meters Tier: III Description: Hollow, Quincy, and Shinigami all possess methods of sensing, measuring, and finding reiatsu. This ability is open for hollows to train for in which a separate and unique form of reiatsu sensing is created. Manifesting as a separate type of vision, hollows using this technique can measure the reiatsu levels in a person’s body by simply glancing at them. From long range, this technique highlights those with stronger reiatsu then others, different colors of the spectrum assigned to the strength of reiatsu, working not unlike infrared or heat vision works with a snake or other beast of predatory intent.
Theocelese replied in agreement, unbuttoning the cuffs of his sleeves and rolling them up to his elbow, one by one. With a tilt of his head, he gestured towards the door and his form blurred, appearing at the door, then once again as the door swung open and he moved outside. In the sky, the sharply dressed Arrancar stood. His face formed that of an unpleasant leer, his lips were curved down and his brows narrowed. He'd regained enough of himself to find a willingness in adhering to some sense of civility. Now, he might not have attacked a Shinigami who bothered him outright, but if there were blades drawn at him he wouldn't hesitate. Had Inigo come in as anything but hostile, things might have gone differently, but he knew these types. He was one of these types for a good, long while, and he knew that if this didn't end the way he saw it ending, both parties would find it beneficial. In almost all cases, one would be not without his or her Zanpakutou, but in Theocelese's case, he didn't even seem to carry any weapons on him. That should have been most unsettling for any opposition.
Theocelese spoke no insults, nor any words meant to ridicule. He didn't even take a fighting stance, but of all things he did do, Theocelese began adjusting his tie.
Post by Inigo Banderas on May 15, 2016 3:14:37 GMT
Inigo watched him roll up his sleeves, much like humans did when they began to fight. The final stages in the preparation before battle. He himself as all hollow wore no clothing at all. He didn't really need to; he had no issues keeping warm, nor did he have any genitalia to speak of. Shinigami occasionally made comments to this affect, attempting to imply it was something to be ashamed of. They were eaten, just as swiftly as the rest. He noticed the arrancar's lack of zanpakuto. A shinigami's weapon but Inigo, through the admittedly incredibly brief encounters he had had previously with arrancar, had been lead to believe that they were the source of their powers. The fact that Theo did not go to retrieve one now worried him somewhat, but he decided not to concern himself. If the arrancar underestimated him that would be his downfall. Inigo was about to head to the door at the inclination of Theo but before he got there, the arrancar had managed to sonido to the door, making Inigo tense as he heard the static ripple through the air. Showing off? It made him a little irate as he angrily followed the arrancar out of the door, though he couldn't hope to keep up with an opponent of such strength. The feeling of Theocelese's spiritual pressure was starting to get to him. He roared as he stepped out beneath the moonshine, his skin bathed in its cold radiance. Against a weaker opponent even this roar was a weapon but it would do little to phase Theocelese.
He stepped upwards into the air, and realized to his dismay that the arrancar was adjusting his tie. His blood now boiling with the anticipation of battle; though of course in a controlled manner, for Inigo directed his emotions as he pleased. He was letting himself get riled up to hone the keen edge of instinct, and Theo's brazen attitude did nothing but fuel him.
"You won't need that when your head's decorating the doorway of your little home." he spat aggressively, before launching several bala at the arrancar, and following up by using his sonido to approach him, attempting to pierce him with a blade-shaped hand.
{Notes}Name: Rugido (Roar) Class: Hollow Technique Type: Offensive Range: 25 meters Tier: III Description: Many hollows have been known to give off a recognizable roar or scream before attacking. For the most part, this just seems to announce their presence and intimidate the prey they stalk, but for some hollows this roar can cause far more damage than simple intimidation. A hollow with this ability can scream with enough power to cause a shock-wave of sonic force, traveling at Cero Speeds, strong enough to crack the earth around it and force opponents of equal or lesser rank backwards, injuring their hearing and sense of balance.
Name: Puncture Class: H2H Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: <5m Description: The user shapes their fingers similar to a cone shape, and hardens them with reiatsu. This can be used to stab opponents with extreme force.
“I'll recall that comment as I gift your broken body to the next Adjuchas who makes me crack a grin. How does that make you feel, I wonder? Knowing full well your hardships to become what you are will be cast aside as a gift to another?” Theocelese called out as the Bala came at him. His aura exploded violently, something he couldn't help now a days. He would have chalked it up as a price to pay for a massive gain in power received not too long ago. Waves of purple washed over his form, spiking upwards like a raging fire, though his own hands began to glow as this happened. The tips of his fingers looked as though they formed into claws.
The Arrancar took immediate stance, his hands poised outwards and the fingers bent to mimic the appearance of a feline's paw ready to strike, and strike they would at the Bala. In very small clusters like this, they weren't much of a threat or too difficult to dispatch. Most would unleash a torrent, but not this one, he did as Theocelese himself would: use them as a distraction to get close. He hadn't counted on the Sonido used by the Vasto Lorde to be as precise and swift, and that caught him off guard. Although the attack was met by the overwhelming resistance of Theocelese's Hierro, and anyone else would have their shoulder punctured and vulnerable from that, this Arrancar could turn this situation into an advantage. His reaction upon being stricken was quick, turning with the blow and using the momentum to follow up with a single punch turned into many, aimed right for the inside of the Hollow's elbow.
Name: Fury Fans The Flames Class: Hand to Hand Tier: III Type: Offensive Range: Self Description: This melee technique turns a single strike into three consecutive strikes. While use is instantaneous, over using this will slowly start to destroy the user’s arms. Can be used only in forward based attacks like punches. Only weapons meant for thrusting can be used in conjunction.

Inigo's already permanent twisted grin widened as he noticed the Arrancar's shock at the speed of his sonido. Hie eyes widened and the mirth fell from his face, however, when he realized how little damage he had done to Theocelese with his punches, and how badly his knuckles now hurt. They weren't kidding when they waxed lyrical of the arrancar's mighty hierro... Still, that made things more desperate than they were before. He charged a cero to launch at Theocelese, but his punches were swift. As Inigo had made no effort whatsoever to defend from the blow, he was struck for full damage and his arm snapped backwards with a sickening crack. This caused him to release the cero early with a screech of pain, lowering its power significantly, but hopefully giving him enough of a distraction to gain a little difference. There was another crack, as his mangled arm snapped back into place. It wasn't quite fixed yet, however, it would take another couple of moment.
"Now, now." Inigo rattled hollowly. "There'll be no breaking of this body." ordinarily he might taunt an opponent into attempting to kill him but the sheer strength of the arrancar's hierro made him seriously doubt himself. He was arrogant, not stupid. It was dawning on him that he might have picked a fight with the wrong guy. He roared and a pulse of bloody reiatsu would explode outwards from his body, which was then covered in thick armour-like hide.
Name: Adaptability II Class: Hollow Powers Tier: III/VI Type: Passive/Defensive Range: Self Description: This ability, when activated, coats Inigo in thick armour that supplements his defences. It acts as a shikai durability release construct, with weak points at his elbow, knee, ankle, and neck joints. It also provides his whole body with tier III defensive buffering (as in the advantage guide). The tier VI activated version changes this to a bankai durability construct, with shikai durability in the joints and tier VI defensive buffing, however it may only last for 2 posts and comes with a 4 post cooldown where this ability in its entirety is locked out. Cannot be used with any other "Adaptability" abilities.
Inigo must always have one adaptability technique active while released. If he is unable to use any due to being on cooldown he returns to his un-released state.
This is not on his profile; the one on his profile got pulled and this is the updated version. Just waiting for mods to put it in.~ I mean whatever, this is just so that he doesn't get utterly #rekt so badly he won't live to come to your side lmao
(you know I dont care dude, this is just for funsies)
“That's a bit of an understatement, I've already broken part of it. Now for the rest.”
Theocelese's Reiatsu let out in a horrid and violent fashion with a war-like scream of his own, shaking the sand dunes below enough to cause the size of the landscape to literally shift. Large dunes became small, small ones were engulfed by others to become large. It was the perfect sight, if any caught it, what exactly Hueco Mundo was like. A majority of the time, no one was safe, no matter their size or power. Only a handful could be a part of those who were unchallenged. Theocelese thought himself to be one of those few, though one would have quite the time trying to pry those words out of his sealed lips.
It would have been appropriate to guess someone of his caliber was prone to full on frontal attacks, but instead of using Sonido by itself, or in conjunction with any of the Hollow's staple attacks as Inigo used them, Theocelese's form surged with raw power and his movements took him skyward. Further skyward, that is, and at a speed one only took either to tactically retreat, or to come to the aid of another that would be in truly dire need. For the briefest of moments, Theocelese disappeared in the black sky. The purple aura became a speck, then nothing, but he could still he felt. The stillness and sudden lack of noise lasted as briefly as it came, with Theocelese's form coming back down aimed right down at Inigo. The aura grew tremendously, spouting black veins like a diseased appendage. Whether or not he hit the Vasto to the effect of carrying him to the ground, once contact was made with the ground, a veritable sinkhole would form due to the released energy in an atomic fashion.
Description: After a brief channel time, Theocelese launches into the air is capable of breaking through the current world he is in to travel to another. This method is generally used when a friend is in great trouble, or if he needs to make a quick leave. He may also choose to instead reverse direction and return to his initial launch point. Whether he leaves an area or returns to his launch point, the area where he lands explodes violently.

Inigo gave a hollow chuckle, as the bruises on his arm vanished, the muscles snapped back into their place, and he regained almost full mobility. The arrancar was underestimating him... And that gave him an advantage. For all his finery, Inigo realized, that no-one ever truly outgrew their animalistic tendencies. He braced himself with his reiatsu as Theo responded with his own shout, a huge pulse of reiatsu that Inigo had no choice but to ride out, exerting as much pressure as he could, before it stopped, the landscape shifting and rolling like an earthquake beneath them.
Then the arrancar took off, and Inigo watched him ascending rapidly. He didn't attempt to follow, wary of being lured into some kind of trap. It became evident after a few moments, however, that Theocelese was merely using the height to empower his descent. He was travelling at such speed that Inigo realized only too late that he would suffer the impact. He raised his armoured arms over his head, and the impact sent him rocketing downwards into the sand below, as he bounced off the descending Theocelese, who continued on the downward trajectory. Inigo took but a milisecond to change his Adaptability to Shedding.
He considered himself totally safe; ordinary matter and energy would go straight through his form now, he was completely transparent to them. However, as Theocelese landed, Inigo felt the pressure wave expand through him, burning his skin and eyes and making him feel nauseous. It didn't affect him fully; in fact, it seemed the majority of the explosion had simply phased through his body uninterrupted and had wreaked its devastation upon the desert floor. Inigo darted away, using his intangibility to skirt away in the dunes making him all but impossible to track, likely even for Theo. He had to win some distance to lick his wounds. He wasn't sure which was worse, the prospect that he had not managed to avoid all of the force of the attack, or that what little force had damaged him so badly. His skin knit shut quickly, though he was certain there were a few broken ribs. Once he had gained some fifty meters distance or so, he shot a glance back at Theo, panting heavily. He felt his arms began to snap back into place; they had been broken again by the initial impact.
"You're pretty strong you bastard." he spat, shouting loudly to his opponent.
{Spoiler} Name: Adaptability III: Shedding Class: Hollow powers Tier: VI Type: Defensive Range: 100m Description: Using this ability, Inigo may make himself completely inert to all other reishi, kishi, and energy. This allows him to freely move through all attacks, people, and terrain though he himself may not use any attacks or other techniques while under this effect. It can be used to escape binds as per the binding guide. The state lasts up to four posts. This technique interacts with attempts to bypass it through buffering as in the advantage guide. It cannot be used with any other "Adaptability" abilities.
Inigo must always have one adaptability technique active while released. If he is unable to use any due to being on cooldown he returns to his un-released state.
“You could not comprehend the agony suffered to gain this strength. An early demise, an altering of my mind, enslavement, and loss. That is all I have experienced in my very few short years living as what I am. Only until recently I kept a positive face, I strode towards useless talks of peace and tolerance in regards to others. I returned from an ordeal started hundreds of years ago to find my home in ruin...”
From within the still wisps of dust clouds of the crater, Inigo could see Theocelese's eyes glowing, his form against the moonlight showing his left arm held out straight with his palm facing the Vasto Lorde. “I made the stipulation clear as day to you, and you chose threats and violence. I wanted to finish my breakfast, read my newspaper and enjoy my coffee. These are luxuries I have not had within my grasp for some time, and I do not appreciate it when others barge into my home, spitting in my face when a guest ought to be humble and happy to be taken in.” The Arrancar had waked towards the Vasto Lorde as he spoke, his arm still stretched out whilst the right arm remained at his side. As his face became clear and visible above the now settled sand clouds, it held not a look of anger as his words might have suggested, but a half-grin one made when a winning hand came to him in a heated game of poker.
His eyes widened and the semi-grin turned into a happy-go-lucky smile. A quick flash of light offered annoyance at Inigo's eyes, not even the sort meant to distract or throw someone off. It was a sign of something about to happen, and of an event already in its stages of unfolding. There were two straps against the Arrancar's left arm now, one his hand held and the other against the upper area of his forearm. Connected to these straps, a large shield.
“Make Them Rest In Peace, Alacos Thanatos (Beautiful Death)”
Description: Theocelese's shield instantly returns to him equipped to his arm. Regardless of distance or location, Theocelese may have his shield return to him but must channel the Technique for at least one post to re-obtain it.

The arrancar had made no attempt to follow him and seemed to be looking at him with amusement from the crater. He told Inigo of pain and suffering; these were ideas he could grip and understand easily. All of Theocelese's trials... Except loss. Loss of what? The arrancar had his body, intact. He was strong, and no longer worried of regression... There was nothing tangible Inigo could piece together that Theocelese could be without that would trouble him. Perhaps this was another thing that others seemed to feel that his mind simply... Lacked. In fact, Inigo understood Theocelese's emotions only in the context of things he had experienced himself, and how he might react to them.
The arrancar's arm was raised, as if expecting something to occur. He criticized Inigo's showing up at his home and disrupting the piece. Did he honestly expect much different from the monsters that inhabited this desert? In Hueco Mundo, ownership was by basis of strength; hollows didn't even own their own bodies. Not if someone stronger wanted them.
"Well what the fuck did you expect? This isn't a civilized, or rational place, Theocelese. Those at the top may not sit resplendent upon their thrones." he growled through his teeth. "I... Admittedly don't understand. I don't understand why. There is only one thing with meaning to me; and that is strength. Like all hollows I crave it, I envy it, and it controls me. It is all consuming. I must answer to it in all forms." he said, as the shield appeared upon Theocelese's arm. It was at that moment the arrancar released.
Inigo let out a bellow of laughter. "I see. How fitting it is for such a 'peaceable' man to possess a zanpakuto which is a shield. Do you fancy yourself Hueco Mundo's peacekeeper?" he asked, as a surge of adrenaline rushed through him. To kill or be killed; this was in essence what it meant to be hollow. Though it was unlikely he could run now... To escape with his life; perhaps there was another way?
“Do I fancy myself as some kind of protector? No. Not anymore, not to anyone stretching past the boundaries of my walls.”
His voice, no longer human in sound, came from the billowing of smoke and sand. It was something unearthly, something perhaps Inigo could find to his own liking. It was as if Hell itself gave Theocelese his voice, deep and harsh. It was far from what the Vasto heard thus far, and to most it was an experience more terrifying. The first glimpse given to his opponent were two purple eyes, glowing outwards from behind a helmet. The wisping light escaping out the opposing corners of his eyes trailed along the outside of his black-plumed headdress. More revelation of his form showed more of him was armored, the torso, his forearms and his legs from the knees down. Still latched to his left arm, a shield but this one different in color and insignia. Held in the grasp of his right hand, a six-foot long spear that could be used to slash, pierce, and if it came to it, use the back end as a bludgeon. For a few brief moments post-release, ethereal wings remained fully stretched out behind him. Perhaps it was a glimpse of a part of him that once was, or maybe this was something he used for show.
“Civility is just a nice way to say ‘I won’t kill you for the fun of it’, at least, that is my current use of the word. I will tell you something, Hollow, you have courage unlike many other. Most others with the potential to be a threat to me decide it is best to try undermining me with plots and plans spoke of and enacted within the shadows. You appeared before me with threats of my undoing. While I can applaud such a thing, I also know courage is just another word for incompetent. Survive, and we can break words more befitting of those seeking mutual gain. Die, and...Well to be honest with you, I don’t really care if you die.”
The sand behind Theocelese exploded as he rushed forward, his innate speed increasing dramatically since revealing this form. His intention was to skewer Inigo with his spear right through the torso.
(borrowing my mommas chromebook while im out of state, i hate this thing, just look at profile for release stuff lol)
So, Theo looked out for him and his own. And that was who Inigo had marched straight into with all the rudeness that possessed him upon seeing an actual habitable dwelling within Hueco Mundo. He regretted nothing, nor did he see his actions as a mistake. Remorse was an emotion that Inigo could not even comprehend. Still, the arrancar spoke with such conviction that he couldn't help but feel the surge of adrenaline increase even further, as a darkness filled the air. Covered in armour, armed, suddenly, to the teeth his opponent came forth. Inigo's laughter died to a low chuckle. The violence that surely would ensue inspired within him an ecstasy like no other and it was all he could do to keep a vaguely level head against this opponent who massively out-classed him.
"Plotting... Such cowardice is unbecoming of a being that would call themselves 'hollow'." he clarified. "Competent, incompetent... Those things don't matter. I wanted to see the source of such ridiculousness. And I was delighted with what I found. Let's paint the desert floor red." he snarled, as with incredible speed, the Arrancar shot forwards, his sudden presence an eruption of strength. Inigo began charging another bright red cero. The spear approaching at deadly speed, Inigo avoided the attack in one of the few ways that would let him retain closeness to his opponent. He simply allowed the spear to go right through his hollow hole, so that his body slid through it down to the arrancar's hand. Theo was fairly tall for a regular human at over 185 centimeters, but Inigo stood taller still. While his body had all the proportions of a human, he was bigger, far exceeding 210, and so he had the height to aim a broad sweeping kick at Theo, hoping to knock his balance as he released the cero straight in Theo's face.
There were no more words from the Arrancar, just the adrenaline bursting through his veins. The whispy glow of his eyes closed slightly and beneath his helmet, he grinned as if he were not a beast reborn, but truly a Chesire Cat. Getting in such a close proximity, while again Theocelese could applaud such bravery, this creature knew nothing of that. All Inigo was, all he ever would be was nothing more than instinct on two legs. The Arrancar dropped down to a single knee, his left leg dug into the earth while the right stuck out behind him to brace him for the Vasto's actions, and to take a counter measure of his own. In a single motion, Theocelese's right arm shot out towards the Vasto Lorde's body, a metallic glow forming around his entire forearm. His left arm shot downwards, letting the bottom of his shield catch the incoming foot. This would stop most of the force, letting the rest hit the well-braced and planted leg, while in turn letting the Hollow essentially kick the shield upwards to block the Cero.
Appearing around his forearm were the Chains of Prometheus, and much like the ones that bound him all those many moons ago, Inigo would find himself in a similar position. A thick, single band of chain lashed out as though it were a viper, looking to strike the Hollow and in by doing so, binding him as the Cero beat down in futility against the Arrancar and his shield. Such an event would be the end of this altercation, though there were more plans in the Arrancar's head than to let this be the end of it. He knew the rage of the Vasto Lorde, and he also knew what that could be molded into, should the situation turn out that way. Theocelese went from looking to kill, to finding out of this beast could be something of a kindred soul. A being forged in the pits of the Hell, whose scars upon his flesh were nothing more than a recorded history of victories.
Name: Chains of Prometheus Class: Ressurection Tier: VII Type: Binding Range: Medium Description: Chains appear wrapped around Theocelese’s forearm, extending over the palm of his hand. He can shoot these chains out at up to three opponents manipulating them as he sees fit. If struck by the chains, the opponent is immediately wrapped by the chain and bound and their strength is sapped, reducing it down to 1x levels. When his opponents are bound, he may retract the chains to pull his enemies close to him or swing and throw them around as he he sees fit. If a chain is broken, Theocelese may pick it up and use it as part of his Released weapons. Binding effect lasts 3 posts, but the chains last even after the binding effect dissipates.

It happened so fast that Inigo had virtually no time to even comprehend it. The spear still poking through his hollow hole, the hand that held it suddenly withdrew. The arrancar was smart; dropping down to lower his centre of gravity meant that Inigo's kick, which had been rather more to trip and disorient than damage, glanced harmlessly off of the shield which the arrancar was then able to raise to catch the cero. All of this was futile however, as he found himself caught within the chains that had appeared around the arrancar's right arm. They shot towards him and felt them crawl over his skin, binding him tightly, stopping him from moving at all. He struggled and swayed but to no avail. He had been caught and there was nothing he could do about it. He roared fiercely but impotently. The cero had no effect; he knew better than to keep trying and so he cut it off and stared at Theo an impressed anger in his eyes.
"Well you got me. I'm yours to do what you please with." Inigo said bitterly. He didn't exactly mean that; if the arrancar actually tried to kill him, he would do his utmost to escape the chains, he had a couple of tricks up his sleeve yet. But the arrancar could have tried to kill him already, and he didn't. "Of course as ever, he who is the strongest comes out on top. Such is the way of life in Hueco Mundo."
From the now smoking plateau, Theocelese rose slowly, his shield lowering as the chains constricting Inigo tightened more and more, as if the weapon itself were alive and each link wrought with his fury. The Arrancar stood, his head tilting up to look to make eye contact with the Vasto Lorde. “Do you know why I beat you? It was not because I am stronger. It is because you lack many of the things you attempted to ridicule me for. Look where that got you, good sir, in the grip of the asp.” With a downward swing of his left arm, the shield shot from his grasp and dug into the sand. With that same arm and hand, he lifted the helmet from his head, revealing a full head of braided hair and carved beads and hair pieces of ivory, gold, silver and bronze. Some were fitted with gems of various colour, though most looked like opals. This was not the look of some seat-comfy king, this was the appearance of a warrior who mowed down his enemies like an unstoppable machination of war and used his loot from the fallen to spend without frugality.
“You can speak of me with contempt, and I of you, but that will get us no where now. You are powerful, and resourceful. Your willingness to continually press the attack will, in the end, get you killed. I would see to it you do not find an end alone, and in this fashion, bested due to hastiness and a temperament fitting that of a child. Everything you are, is nothing but one giant heap of raw potential that I wish to see molded.
In laymen's terms, I could use a good arm like yours. You've a lot to learn...but you're at the pinnacle of our kind's evolution. You have little to no boundaries, that is a blessing in itself. What I propose to you, is that when the time comes, you fight for me. With me. Under one banner, against any and all...perhaps soon enough, even the Gotei. They've got much to suffer for, and all of those I once called friends and brothers in arms have deserted their home. That, I may guess, is something you do not care for. However, that is something you will have to accept in time.
Make no mistake, Hollow, I care not for any wretched title like many before me and many that will come after. I'm no king, I'm not up to the task of ruling. I'm just a warrior, the kind who ultimately seeks a glorious death on the battlefield, for there is no greater glory than to die in the midst of combat. Though I am not stupid enough to brazenly charge against a hundred-thousand, I will face that hundred-thousand if I have a fraction of that total. I am in need of strong warriors, and although we do not live in a realm where coin is currency, I can only pay you with tools similar to my own, my knowledge, and the promise of war.”
This in itself was a small test. Theocelese was waiting for the assault of questions, anticipating them, as all before Inigo asked much of him. There was the feeling that at a promise of war, Inigo would go all in on the hand given to him. With that thought in the back of his head, he hoped at least something in the form of a question came at him. Even if it was to cut out all the silver lining and get straight to the damn point, that would be good enough for him.

Chained up, helpless, Inigo listened to what the arrancar had to say. He could have closed his ears, closed his heart. But he didn't. Theo showed great strength, the strength he begrudgingly deferred to. He still contemplated breaking free but he wouldn't. Regardless it seemed as though the arrancar wasn't going to harm him. Quite the opposite. After berating Inigo for his assault, which made his blood boil shortly with anger, he advised him. Cautioned him. Told him he would shape him. The arrancar had placed his shield down and removed his helmet. He looked tribal, with such rugged finery. The kind of person who kept trophies. He wasn't totally sure but he still thought he had the sword of the adjuchas who had taught him to fight, before he had killed and eaten her. As Theo mentioned the Gotei 13, Inigo roared.
"I would walk alongside an arrancar of half your steel and strength to taste the blood of those shinigami curs! I know not of family, nor of home but I know of brothership, and camaraderie, which unites those with a love of battle." though people seldom loved to inflict pain as much as Inigo. But Theo's talk did stir confidence in Inigo. And he seemed to mean business. If anyone were able to bring him the violence he needed to sate his bloodlust, it was Theo.
The look upon Theocelese's face was one of full toned severity. “You're lucky to not truly know, or remember knowing a family. Those fucking cunts are the reason why mine was torn apart once upon a time.” As his words came from his lips, the chains quickly snaked back to their master's arm. Inigo was free, for his response was one acceptable enough to merit freedom and some small form of trust. “Brothership and camaraderie, things known only to our kind for a brief period of time until the opportunity for great change comes in front of us. But we are at the top, you and I. We have a common enemy, one who does not understand the endless and maddening hunger. Together, and hopefully with the aid of others, we will march upon the Shinigami from the furthest reaches of the Rukongai straight to the gates of the Seireitei.”
The grin now worn on the face of the Arrancar was widened at the thought of bodies stacked into piles from his spear. Truthfully, he didn't care about the damn Shinigami, but they were the ones responsible for countless sufferings on behalf of himself, and many others in Hueco Mundo. They would also find themselves wishing that in a time not too many years ago, they would have agreed to some mutual form of cease-fire.
Theocelese raised his chain-wrapped forearm, extending it outwards.
“I do apologize, I should have asked for your name and I did not.”
