Was discussed in Cbox, but it seems often the case that people with the intention of making an Arrancar always start hollow for the benefits of vastocar. But people who just want to be hollow get stuck at ML-A waiting for a trial. Canonly, vastos are the biggest badasses in Hueco Mundo and it was canonly stated by Hitsugaya that 10 of them could possibly take down the soul society. Not only that but adjuchas are supposed to be capable of fighting a shinigami with bankai but now they cannot even exist at the same rank as shinigami with it. So I move for the Vasto trial to be moved up to HL-A as part of the requirement for AL.

okay heres my thoughts on Vasto Lordes.
The site doesn't allow them to be what they are canonly expressed to be-a very serious threat. Now we've seen VL Arrancar capable of combating multiple captains with varying strength. Site wise, that couldn't be allowed due to unrestricted amounts of Vastos.
I think if anything, make the trial at HL. That way it still requires some time and you can plot/story with the character, but if you win you get your evolutionary peak and your rank bump up. That way, people who get to hl-a and dont win dont spend a shit ton of time for nothing. No one wants the massive risk for what could be for nothing.
My suggestion: LIMIT the amounts of Vastos that can be on site. I havent read hollow guides or vasto stuff in a long time, but maybe give another benefit to go with that limitation on numbers. Maybe AdjuCar can't get to max rank while only VLA could? The Vastos in play will be the ones that need to be challenged, and if there are say, 5 slots open, they can be npc'd.
Not everyone can or should be Vasto Lordes, and the trial shouldn't be something everyone thinks they can just go on and breeze through. There will always be more non-VL hollow around than VL, and as far as the site goes...it really could use more.

Conversely Koz, by raising the barrier to HL-A you already limit the number of VLs inherently.
Because we have a 150 post requirement for AL, raising the barrier up there means that you have to have clocked 150 posts before you even win the trial. I think that would seriously limit the number of people that go for VL and is a more organic method of limiting their numbers than putting an artificial cap. There is a small number of VLs not because there is a limit on how many that can exist but because only a few are cut out to ever become a Vasto Lorde. Making it difficult to become one IMHO is a way better way of going about it than arbitrarily saying we are only allowed so many.
The number of characters with 150 posts under their belt is small. It's going to be the limit you need.

I agree with both with some points. On one end, taking the trial at Ml-A just does nothing but make lots of dead Ml-A Hollows because let's face it everyone is making hollows to get the Vasto perk. So raising the bar to HL allows for people to become more invested into their character and have more time to have gather techs, plots, etc. What I agree with blodwen is that HL does require a steep number of posts and it seems to be a little hard especially when I myself (A new member) doesn't see a lot of activity here. A few threads here and there but nothing more. Then it just makes it seem like Vasto isn't worth the perk and that steers members from actually trying.
I think there should be some sort of compromise between raising the rank req. and actually getting to that req. so that it's challenging but not so impossibly hard that no one wants to try. I think if this meets half way it can be agreeable for everyone.
