PERSONALITY
The one word to describe Kira is he is by all means is cunning. Kira will always find a way to make situations work to his advantage one way or another, he is not shy about making this known as he follows a strict code of "what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine." He cares not of authority or friendship to him all these trivial matters have an expiry date, so unless it suits him for the time being he will befriend you or be loyal as it will be to his advantage. A harsh lesson in life he learned the hard way, never trust anyone as everyone wants their own best interest and he has been stepped on far too long hence his adamant belief that he friends are useless unless he can gain something out of it. However this rule does have exceptions those who truly prove their loyalty to Kira have earned an extremely loyal friend who will fight for them till the very end. Kira will use his cunning and intellect to manipulate situations and people to his and his friends' advantage, however earning his trust is an extremely hard feat but once earned Kira lets go and opens up completely showing his true nature to that friend, which is far from the cold, calculated, manipulative man he paints himself as. Kira firmly believes in two things, one is that every single person can be bought, you just need to figure out with what, The second thing is that every occasion has a mask that can be worn and taken off at his pleasure to cater to the occasion and the people involved.
To those rare few Kira actually lets in, Kira is an extremely playful, vibrant character, granted he is extremely eccentric and often voices the most bizarre thoughts out loud or inappropriate thoughts to the amusement of those around him. He often plays pranks on his friends or is always joking around he is never ever serious cracking puns and jokes non stop. Kira uses his cunning and his mastery of wordplay to manipulate others around him but he would never use these tricks on those rare few he calls friends, however he would redirect it towards those outside his close circle of friends for his or his friends' advantage. Kira is not the shoulder to cry on he is as emotional as an ice cube instead you will get logical reasoning and logical advice from him, do not expect him to sympathize with you if you are in the wrong he will let you know right off the bat. However that does not mean he will let you hang to dry he will give his advice based on logic and reasoning on how the situation can be fixed or to minimize collateral damage.
In battle Kira understands full well that physical strength is not his strong suit so he does his utmost best to avoid close quarter confrontations using hand to hand, he knows some tricks but his skill comes from his keen skills with his zanpaktou and his flash stepping, the two aspects he shines in. He is neither physically strong nor durable so he relies on speed and cunning to best his enemies. He is a tactician by nature often toying with his enemies in order to completely see their pattern and figure out their flaws and utilizing those cracks to make his opponents shatter. He is not beyond using every single dirty underhanded trick in the book to win a fight, he does not comprehend the idea of honor of battle, battles are meant to be won and the end justifies the mean to him. He is often times described as vicious, cruel and downright sadistic to his enemies often relishing in exploiting their weakness then boasting to the enemy where he is weak taunting them and toying with them killing them slowly with a big wide grin on his face.
During his free time, if Kira is not with his friends he is often times seen walking on his own with a book in his hand, a cigarette dangling from his lips or just lounging outside on sunny days with a cigarette and a drink, as Kira enjoys and thrives in sunlight. Kira enjoys smoked red meat or salted red meat, whiskey, dark chocolate or human energy drinks. He is an extremely avid smoker and claims as he is already dead this has no effect on him, he believes it may be a habit he picked up back when he was a human and smoking just crossed over with him.
Kira is aware that he has an addictive personality but does absolutely nothing to curb his cravings for anything he desires. He enjoys pampering himself and whenever spotted he will purchase alcohol or cigarettes or dark chocolates and when in the human world energy drinks.
