The Human World. A place Theocelese's feet traveled time after time again in one body or the next. There were very little things that would, or could keep the man coming back here. His last familial tie, the only living descendant or his mortal bloodline. While her memory had been wipes clean of all the events they went through together, there was always the chance something would undo that. Theocelese would not allow it, and from time to time his paternal instinct twisted at his gut, telling him to go back to that wretched place where his suffering all started....this time 'round, at least. Karakura Town, a place he once loved and defended, now indifferent except for that one person. As much as Theocelese loved his daughter...there were just times he wished she'd die and be reborn. As much as he loved Alexandra, he didn't want that burden anymore.
With a lit cigarette in between his lips, the Arrancar watched his daughter not but fifteen or so feet outside the second story building, out on the patio and tending to cleaning the outside of the kitchen windows. She finished, and went inside and an hour or so later, that sickening feeling was gone from his gut. His foot tapped the roof underneath him a few times. 'Just a few more minutes, then I'll leave', Theocelese thought to himself. Wasn't like the old days, not anymore. He couldn't just stroll on in, and give Matrium a call to come over for a drink and a game of poker. With a deep sigh and a quick turn of his head, Theocelese reached into his satchel to grab for another smoke. A few clicks later, and the cherry burned in the air of the early evening.
Satoshi stood in a high vantage point in Karakura town to absorb in a basic layout of Karakura town just incase he might need it later. The yellow eyes of the shinigami shifted through the endless rows of concrete and human creation, his silver hair occasionally impairing his view by blowing into his vision. The shinigami had both his right and his left arms in his pockets, as he stood on a high rooftop. He had been thinking most recently on gaining strength. Satoshi knew he was not even near a level where he could oppose anyone worth opposing. And he had planned to change that as soon as he could.
As he was towering over the city, the figure stood watch over Karakura town like an eagle in its nest. Suddenly, a signature struck Satoshi as quite odd. Something he hadn't felt quite before. It was something quite familiar, but yet much more potent. As if a pint of alcohol was condensed into a shot. He had heard about this, it had to have been. Infact, there was inevitably no mistaking it. Satoshi had sensed and Arrancars presence.
Satoshi was fascinated, and took a step forward, but his body froze as he recalled something that should of been his first thought. This is most likely much more strong then Satoshi and could kill him at any time. But at this point, what has he got to lose? Satoshi must succeed, for his lost friends.
"VWOOSH"
Sastoshi had used his Shunpo to slip away into a breeze, leaving behind floating leaves and debris. Satoshi had seemed to flash in and out of existence, each time gaining ground as he went toward the signature. As he had continued on, he had eventually seen the figure. Befuddled by his apearence, Satoshi had crouched down to inspect him better and attempted to lower his spiritual pressure as low as he could, even though he was bad at leveling it out, which happened to be one of the many things Satoshi needs to work on for stealth.
"Hmph" Satoshi said in amusement and curiosity, hoping to strike the Arrancars attention in a non-aggresive way. Satoshi had nothing against fighting, but was completely against unnecessary suicide.
An interloper, some lacky patrolman who would have stepped into the wrong place at the wrong time. He hadn't been paying mind to much outside of his own thoughts, and honestly would have been taken by surprise. But this one, he chose to show himself and that was the first mistake. Theocelese took one long, deep drag of his cigarette. The exhaled smoke trickled out of his nostrils in a draconian fashion, blue-green wisps twirling around and rising into the air only to thin out and dissipate. The Arrancar turned slowly, all that was on his mind before, now gone. Satoshi's eyes met the golden hues of Theocelese, and the Arrancar made sure to keep them that way.
“Young man, haven't you any respect for the old? We just wish to be left in peace to our own thoughts,” The sheathed blade kept at his left side moved up the leather, his right hand gripping the handle tightly. “Some of us are known to be quite ornery when disturbed, and I find your presence more than enough to make my blood boil.” The blade finally cleared leather, and Theocelese held it pointed at the Shinigami, the flat of the steel meeting the sky.
“You should have attacked me when there was no doubt you were going to hit me.”
In earlier days, in that time he reminisced and distastefully longed for, he wouldn't have even drawn his blade and instead, would have resorted to his famed silver tongue to do the fighting for him until absolutely necessary. There were few Shinigami who could attest to this, some within the Gotei who had come to visit him on that very patio not too far away. The Arrancar took another pull from his smoke, letting the cherry illuminate his bearded face. The Sun had dipped lower into the horizon, and it was just a matter of moments before darkness befell the city. Apollo's chains could no longer restrict him.
Satoshi was just there...crouched as it were, when this Arrancar had told him to draw his blade. Before that it was quite obvious he had taken him slightly off guard, as he was busy pondering or brooding. Whatever Arrancars do in their spare time. Satoshi had raised his head and stood up firm and tall, being sure to be on guard at all times.
Satoshi's head was going through 10's of scenarios at the same time, goinng through all of them. Satoshi then brought on a warm yet sinister smile, and at the moment of the smile he had withdrew his hands from his pockets with relatively slow speed, within 2 seconds or so, and had placed them a little above shoulder level.
"Oh, I'm no soldier...friend. There is no need to raise the level of malevolence then is already set, Arrancar. I do not come hoping to disturb your peace, nor anyone else you care to take after". As Satoshi pointed with his right hand at the Window the Arrancar was quite clearly staring into from a distance while Satoshi was halfway to reaching the Arrancar.
"In fact, I think we might even be able to benefit from eachother at this particular point in time. If you would be so kind as to hear me out, I would be glad to tell you."
It was obvious to the Soul Reaper that this Arrancar was far above his own class. This man was not even remotely phased by his appearence, but rather only befuddled because he didn't sense my presence immedietely. He would have to take caution to all the moves and gestures that this Arrancar makes in fear of irritating someone that has the ability to crush you.
"And do not worry, I will most likely forget that woman you were looking at even exists after this point. Infact, you might even be able to say you can forget I mentioned her."
Satoshi had then moved his head slightly to his left, and right, darting his eyes around as to purposely push suspicion on to this new Arrancar as to what he might be looking around for in the first place.
"Arrancar, may I request that we partake of this conversation further in Hueco Mundo?"
The Arrancar's stance stood unwavered at the Shinigami's words. In his eyes, Satoshi could see contemplation simmering. Theocelese dropped the sword, though did not put it back into the weapon's sheath. “I will grant your request.” He spoke only these words before tapping the now night sky, opening up the portal that would lead them to Hueco Mundo. Of all the things Theocelese could do, it would be to humor a Shinigami. He always humored them in the past, and as of recent it became a rather droll thing to cut them down for approaching him. Personally, Theocelese didn't like where the conversation steered. It was a mighty fine way to get on his bad side, but if he was going to act out on that, he would have done so sooner. He needed time to think, something he did a lot these days.
“You will make this quick, do not doddle and do not, for your own sake, attempt to soften me up with your words. Now go.” He pointed inside the Garganta with his blade, this obviously not a request but an order. So far, the Shinigami appeared to be playing his cards in a way that kept him from harm's way. All the other patrolman that came across him did so with blades drawn, this one did not. Perhaps he was a defector in the making, perhaps he could make for a formidable ally in some way or another. If there was anything he was short of these days, it was someone welcome at his table.
Satoshi had lowered his hands just as quickly as he had put them up, and had placed them into his pocket, after brushing a bit of his hair away from the yellow eyes full of triumph. Those very same eyes had seen the blade pointed toward the hole in the sky, otherwise known as Garganta. Satoshi had taken this as a sign that the Arrancar was willing to give him a choice of going with him in the matter. This Arrancar had every reason to know he was stronger then Satoshi, but Satoshi wasn't like others who were weaker. No man ever lived toying with snakes.
"One thing, Arrancar. As much as you exceed my own limits, I wouldn't go thinking those limits are so far off. It's bad luck"
Satoshi had said those last three words with a smirk on his face as he passed the Arrancar When Satoshi had finished his statement, he had began walking toward the Garganta at a brisk pace, finishing the statement off with. Satoshi the Arrancars caution about using a silver tongue on him. He had found it amusing that somehow he was intuitive enough to almost know that Satoshi was well experienced in knowing how to speak, and when to do it.
Satoshi had stared deeply into the garganta, many questions and crazy thoughts had blared through his head at that moment, Satoshi's scientific and investigative mind sparking. The Garganta was quite obviously a fracture, as that was basic to learn. But it was always quite amazing how Hollows could so easily bypass Shinigami in terms of sheer potential of technique. It was always quite intriguing to the Shinigami.
And so it was, the Shinigami made his motions to step into the portal leading to the world of the Hollow. The forever night, a cursed place only made redeemable by the fact that it was his eternal proving grounds. A place in which the sun never existed, a place away from the curse of Apollo. Terror would come to all who deserved it, and Theocelese would render their judgment as he saw fit. It was here that he, an Arrancar, would listen to the words of the Shinigami. It was also here that the Shinigami would come to find his own judgment rendered. Satoshi's fate was in his own hands, and his next choosing of words would be the deciding factor as to what Theocelese chose to do with him.
In the White Expanse, Theocelese stood not but three or four yards from the Shinigami, his feet slightly sunk into the alabaster grains. His expression remained the same since they first exchanged words, unamused and irritated. In another time, in another place, he would have invited the Shinigami back to his hovel for a drink of the Gotei Soldier's choosing. Tea, coffee, alcohol. Maybe even a slice of cake, or another sweet snack. Was a shame that time was seldom to be had again.
“Tell me what it is you wish to speak about, and I would highly recommend you getting to whatever point you feel the need to make.”
Satoshi had entered Hueco Mundo, seeing its white theme, yet blackish glow was quite curious to Satoshi. As his feet planted into the grains of the dimension, he noticed his feet had sunk indefinitely at least half an inch into the sand, marking its depth and how difficult it is to walk each step he took into the dimension as to make sure he coud adapt quickly to it in case of emergency, however knowing that even if he was on guard, it was hardly make a difference as this Arrancar was clearly on a different level. But Satoshi remained with his equally unpleasent look of unsatisfaction and high regard of pity. This same face had shifted to his right, as did the rest of his body. His right leg slid in a half circle around to look at the Arrancar who relatively close behind to the Shinigami.
When the Arrancar had told the Shinigami to get the point, Satoshi nodded and went at-ease and closed his eyes briefly as to collect his thoughts into a paragraph. Satoshi knew that the wrong words might divert the attention of the Arrancar to other matters, which might make the Arrancar impatient, thus attempt to, "Cut" the conversation short.
"Long ago, when I was a mere child in the Soul Soctiety, I had everything I had earned, taken from me by a man who had simply overpowered my fellow souls. We named ourselves the, 'Kings of the Seireitei" and thusly so, as we did what we want, whenever we wanted. One night, I came home to a man standing over my slaughtered friends, and watched them disintigrate into reishi in front of my eyes. It cut so deep into my very being that I was numb, and it took centuries for the pain to slowly come into my mind. So deep that I was in shock, and the only thing I felt was a tiny flame of pure concentrated hate in my stomach. It was roughly at that point"
Satoshi said the last sentence with lustful and devilish gleams in both of his eyes, and a faint sinister smirk on his face.
"When I took up a broken piece of glass from when he bashed my friends head into a window, and dodged his first knife slash. At that moment I realized I had more power then I normally had. My body was beginning to become like static, spiritual energy flowing around me, I struck his throat. But to the point, I cursed this world to that day, in hopes that when I gained the power to change it, I wouldn't. I would cleanse it, evolve it. I would have no more dreams destroyed in the waking eye of myself. There is no peace, but there is harmony, and so must I claim the throne of Las Noches to do cause such a thing to transpire."
Satoshi opened his eyes sharply, with a look of a serious manner, but most of all it had a killing intent. His yellow eyes particularly stood out, as they seemed to glow in the darkness of Hueco Mundo, as if his story had reached out to the dark world itself and it had reached back to make his hate stronger.
"I will become King of Las Noches, in hopes that I might level the playing field. It has been far too long where the Soul Society has thrived in comparison to every other race, and every other dream has been crushed and undermined. And to do so, Lord Arrancar, I require training of the highest degree, a guide to lead me into the path of victory and bloodshed. I will cleave the tongue and silence those with your help I ask, Arrancar, will you aid me on my quest by seeing my level of power reached to its potential?"
Satoshi took a right step forward as if to emphasize his next words.
"I am the one to conquer, I will purge those who try and become obstacles in my goals. I shall extirpate and quell the very beings of those who seek to stop such goals of my own, for they are the ones to bring Hueco Mundo to greatness. Those who see my views as foolish only know their own goals to be correct, and it is thusly so that I will also listen to anyones ideas that would help my own including yours, Lord Arrancar."
"I cannot promise you that you will not meet an end in the conquest, but seeing your strength and mine combined in endless razing of heretics, I can promise you tranquility, and your wishes fulfilled to my best degree, whatever..." Satoshi thought of the little girl he was looking at through the windows earlier "...those wishes may be."
" That backstory was not just my reasoning for wanting to be King of Las Noches. I can see it that Hueco Mundo flourishes, and that no one impedes on the goals of any Hollow, for it is my wish to also become a Vizard."
The Shinigami raised his right hand slowly, in accordance with inspecting it with his golden eyes. Yamada looked back up at the Arrancar and said,
"Aizen had good drive, but was foolish in his calculations. He used up his Arrancars like pawns in chess, and didn't savor them like the knights and castles they were. He was defeated by a boy who started from absolutely nothing, because he wished it so. That foolishness was truly a flaw. Arrancar, I ask that you see it your wishes granted in a journey with me to gain more allies. With your strength, I'm sure it would be a tough choice not to join us in our conquest. Whether you give your loyalty to me or not, but I do wish my goals to be aided in on as well, but you may leave as soon as you find it unappealing to your demands. I will be the Witch King of Hueco Mundo, and that is fact. You will be the most powerful Arrancar that ever lived, with everything you ever cared about taken care of, every power or paradise you seek, granted without ignorant detests from opposing sides."
An interesting story, but it was one he was ever so privileged to hear time and time again. Theocelese thought it interesting that he happened to come across all of them, no matter their history or their reasoning, it was all the same in the end. It was the same to this place, it was the same to him, and it was the same to every being in Hueco Mundo. As ridiculous as he thought it all to be, he would continue to humor the Shinigami and would help to some extent, but this would be quite the learning experience for Satoshi. Theocelese held up his left hand, the index, middle and ring finger held up while the remaining digits kept tucked against his palm.
“I will teach you three lessons, and you will leave this place with a greater understanding of Hueco Mundo and its denizens.”
Theocelese's index finger fell against his palm.
“You will need a sizeable force to even storm this place. The only thing keeping the native Hollow from attacking you outright is my presence. This is a place of kill or be killed, that is our nature as Hollow. The weak are nothing more than a fuel source for the strong to get stronger. And your forces will either need to be tactically sound, or powerful to deal with the oncoming assault waves. Our numbers are...limitless. Your numbers will be not. All of Aizen's followers are dead, dead at my hands. I shared the gift of a glorious demise with every single one of them, and you will not have those fanatical zealots to aid you. I've spread the words of a free nation across this landscape, and in the endeavor of total and singular domination, you will not have my aid. I stand before you now, as your enemy, to whom you have revealed your plans to. Should I will it, all you have deemed to want in your heart could be put to an end in but a single moment. But I like a challenge, and as much as I've cared little for the weak scouts I've broken, I will take an exception to you.”
Now the Arrancar's middle finger fell against the inside of his hand.
“Run. This is the second most important lesson I could ever teach you. I mean that in a future tense, but I also mean that in the present as well. Your return to this place will result in you being hunted down until you die tired and exhausted. Your ability to keep your distance from me is what will give you a few more minutes of agonizing life. You wish for me to train you? I oblige, but if the rumors I hear about your Eleventh Division Captain are true, him and I follow a similar protocol. If you train with me, you must be prepared to put everything on the line, no matter what it is I'm willing to help you with. And I choose to help you with your Shunpo and your ability to push its body to its limits. We start now.”
The Arrancar's hand now fell into a fist, the last of his “lessons”, it seemed would come at a later date. Satoshi, right now, had a much more threatening visage before him. At the front of his knuckles, Theocelese was charging a Cero, and not a moment too soon after its conception did it fire. The Arrancar was holding nothing back, and a direct hit would eradicate any limb should they be caught and in the event the Shinigami took the blow head on...Then there wouldn't need to be a third lesson to be taught. There would be no future “impending doom” for Theocelese to look forward to, no trace of any war to stir and rile his blood.
There could have been many possible ways to answer a man who had a request. You could deny him, you could accept him, hell, you could even delay his request. But out of all of these, they do not even compare to doing exactly what the request is, but in a way you would never expect. In that way, it's exactly what the current situation with Satoshi and Theocolese. Several thoughts ran through his head at what seemed to be light speed, but they were simply scenarios. This man was clearly quite confident in his ability enough to use it to train someone. Satoshi lowered his head and raised his right arm. At the same time, smirked while brining his left arm up quickly and pulling back his sleeve. As the arrancar was finished and charging up the cero, Satoshi need only say one thing...
"Lovely."
Satoshi then slid his left foot back with all his might and as much speed as he could, and rotated his body counter-clockwise. He then slammed his hand on the handle of his Odachi, and withdrew it from its black sheath in a quick swing. As the Cero was fired, Satoshi stared at it for what seemed like forever, but was really only a split second. He secretly contemplated his life in that moment. How he was really going through with his plan. "This is the first step to a new beginning...quite nice." he thought to himself. In that moment, Satoshi's left foot extended, and his body seemed to dissipear in plain sight as his flash stepped out of the way as quickly as he could. He did a juke to the right in order to dodge the Cero, and began going in a circle around the Arrancar in order to try and scope him out. He did so keping a solid 40 meter, making sure to curve around any trees.
Satoshi, at that moment, kept in mind with what the the Arrancar said. He had told him to "Run". It doesn't take a genius to realize that going in a cirlce around someone isn't running away in that sense. Satoshi decided to think of the Arrancar as much more of a threat now, and he then Shunpo'd straight toward as tree, and angled his body sideways so that his feet slammed into the tree body. As he did this, he quickly bent his knees, and put as much power into a straight jump away from the areas as he could. At that very moment, the Shinigami rocketed forward away from the scene in order to make a quick escape, as well as to play along with his little game. Satoshi swung his blade the moment he launched in order to gain a little more forward momentum.
He instantly began to pick up a little speed as he went toward a bundle of trees. He decides not to go too far as to lose track of his enemy, so he decides to spread his arms out a little to add air friction and slow down. As he did this, he started to go toward the ground a bit. Satoshi "tsked" and swung his massive Odachi into a tree. It was hard enough to stick into the tree, but soft enough to where it wouldn't split it. He used this cut, and the momentum of his velocity to cut around the tree, and swing with the cut like a rope. Not only did this allow him to slow down in momentum, but it was also pretty cool. Satoshi landed on the ground softly into a roll with his blade, and at the end of his roll, he stood up quickly and peeked through a bushle of trees to get a good look at the Arrancar who was now a fair distance away.
