So hey guys, figured I'd make a thread for this haha.
This is the second site layout I've ever made (the other was for another site), and it's also the first one I've made from scratch.
So whilst I'm in the middle of two other skins in addition to everything else, if you have any issues with reading, colours, etc, feel free to post them here and I'll see what I can do. I should be able to edit/fix most of everything haha.
This is also where to go if you noticed I fucked up somewhere lol.
So yeah, love it, hate it? I really want to know! |

I Actually love it. Truth be told, there were some issues before with the thread areas, it wasn't that clear, so it was taking some time to find out your thread, but now that you changed that with folder icons, its way clearer. Other than that, thumbs up Kaz.
Suggestion: If you are working on another skins, make one with bright colors, some people can't stand dark colors (like black and red) for too long, hurt their eyes.

Here's hoping that's a little better hyoka. I can still make it brighter if need be.
And thanks a lot sera! I have no intention of making light skins due to the multiple problems in coding and things like accidentally making things illegible for half the community, so it was chosen to be dark skins by the staff collectively.
Bare in mind that for skins, the biggest changes will be the red will a different colour, the banner is different (obvs), and the background pattern will change. The actual forum background will likely not change to keep minimal problems between skins and it's also less coding for me. So it's more of a design choice if anything atm.

Just an fyi, when I send/receive PM's, the body of the PM overlaps with the mini-profile area slightly. Dunno if that's just a firefox thing or what. Doesn't happen with forum threads, I don't think.
Not even sure if that's something you can fix xD
ALSO WHY ISN'T EVERYTHING MORE COLORFUL

The physical layout is pretty nice. If I were to suggest a (hopefully) low effort alternative, maybe just swap the color red for teal, but leave everything else the way it is? Very easy on the eyes, I find.
So not so much an actual issue, just a matter of taste that might be tossed into the future skin idea pile. Nice work.

The Hitsu skin was very nice and my favorite on the old site by a mile and a half. If it got ported (or rather, it's colors. I'm indifferent on whether or not the actual image does), that'd be spectacular.

Yup a forest green Ulq Skin and an aqua Shiro skin (same shade as the old skin) are in the works. I have no other plans or ideas for other skins at the moment, but they won't be the last.
