Seemed like everyone could get friends these days. Even Beatrice had found someone. He was a new kid in class, came to live with his mom in Karakura town, was placed in her class. Initially, she didn't really pay any attention, wich was usual. Right up untill the moment he plonked down next to her and asked for her name. They got talking. And, like that. She made a friend. Not only inside school. No, no. Akio made a point of meeting outside of school aswell. And that was what the both of them were doing. Meeting outside of school. She wasn't sure what he had planned. Just a meet-up at the shrine. And something he kept a secret, even through her pestering, he hadn't revealed his plans at all yet.
But she was excited. Why wouldn't she be? It was the first time she was close to anyone from school. First time she was actually close to anyone. She liked it. School still was a major drag, boring and sloww. But, at least it was a tad more bearable now. She turned to the familiar voice calling her name with a soft smile. The boy from her class, the friend she was expecting, walking towards her.

Karakura. A hellscape if she'd ever seen one. The place was always in some state of repair, and this created a constant flux of inhabitants. She herself had finally managed to move in near the area, and already she was on edge. Walking down the streets she could feel them. The spirits all around her. Strong, weak, all of them were so very obvious. And if that were the end of it she might have been fine. But she was more than aware that her own ability to hide her reiatsu was weak, and were it not for the fact that she had the ability to hide that pressure with an ability, she might have perished long ago. Even so.... walking through the streets, she couldn't help but keep just a sliver of reishi concentrated around her quincy cross, keeping it under her sleeve. Eyes flicking left and right in anticipation of some impending attack.
However the sight of a shrine in the distance somehow perked her up. A smile popping across her features she immediately began to beeline for it. With all the shrines in her own town, the sight of one actually made her feel a tad safer. So naturally she made her way toward it, even more excited when she saw the temple had other visitors. That smile immediately brightened and she began closing in, intent on making herself a friend or two as she noticed that there really were only two visitors she could see. It was a bit dissapointing to see that the shrines weren't as popular as they were where she lived, but at the very least there were SOME people.

Beatrice noticed another person. She didn't recognise her, nor feel any reiatsu emanating from her, though, she was partly to blame for that, as she could barely sense anyone's reiatsu, let alone tell who or what they are. So, she took it that the woman present was minding her own bussiness. She glanced back at Hinata, her friend, with a smile, before completely flustering. He had gotten a little too close. "Bea.." She had a bewildered look on her face. He had suddenly dropped her honorific. She didn't mind her name being shortened, it was a common practice for her. She actually insisted on being called that. Well, if she had any friends.
"Do you want to be.." Oh shit. This was it, wasn't it? She had to admit, they had gotten pretty close over the past few weeks. Her face became an even deeper shade of red when she noticed just how close his face was to hers. Was he going to kiss her? Oh shit. Oh shit, oh shit. She blanked momentarily, closing her eyes. Yet his words called her back to this world, "my dinner?"
Wait. What the fuck? That didn't make any sense. Beatrice opened her eyes again, looking in the distorted maw of her friend. "Oh.. Shit." Her voice filled with fear and disgust. His mouth had been blown out of proportion, fangs grew from his teeth, giving him a monstrous look. Beatrice was frozen in place from shock.
