Investigate an odd spiritual pressure. Well. Detailed reports seemed to lack for substitute shinigami. Raiden sighed slowly. Even for someone like him, uncaring for tactics and diving in head-first, it meant bad news. Not even a hint to what nature the spiritual pressure was. How powerful it was. Then again, to be noticed by the seireitei, it should be a powerful burst. Somewhere captain class. He snerked bitterly. Bad news indeed. The entire fucking situation spelled trouble. Then again, he wasn't alone. Two other substitute shinigami had his back. He rested his hands on his obi sash, the armor clunking slightly as he did so. The trio were still navigating through the dangai, en route to their area of operation. With a slow sigh, he rubbed the back of his head. "Any of you two know what we're walkin' into?" He asked over his shoulder, turning slightly as he walked. "We should be there soon." He stated with a slow sigh. He was a substitute shinigami. He was a soldier and this was his duty. Yet, that didn't really take away the fact he had a bitter low amount of intel for this exact mission. Same for his colleagues.
After a short while, the senkai gates opened and Raiden jumped out without any kind of thought, looking around. His hand fingering the hilt of Hebikiba on his back. The zanpakutou seemed to be eager. Lately, this was usual. Overeager to battle. To kill and destroy. Something was going on with his zanpakutou. And he would find out soon what that something was.
The substitute shinigami looked around. The sun was setting. It was dusk. And ominous. While his reiatsu sensing wasn't the best, he could tell something was watching them. At the same he was as blind as a bat. Because it wasn't something. But someone. And a lot of those someones. Raiden was in the middle of it, looking around as if he didn't notice the enemies' numbers. Completely oblivious to it. He came across as one dense idiot. The reiatsu became thicker for a moment, and a hail of blue arrows rained down on the seventh division's substitute shinigami. His eyes widened in surprise and he flung the blade from his back, throwing it up as an enormous shield, rather than a sword. Some of the arrows scraped off of the armour on his left arm and others digged into his right shoulder, cracking the ice. "We got company." Was what he muttered to Hebikiba, a trickle of blood running from his back. His guard still wasn't perfect, a blue arrow stuck from his right shoulderblade, just a tad next to his spine.
We'll start off with some cannon fodder if no one minds. Slaughter as much as you want, the villain'll show himself when I can think of an NPC. Only criteria, make it look good.
Constant release perk: Overwhelming Power: This buff is an incomplete cap left on the compression of power, causing for explosive torrents of reiatsu to surge around the user. This form of ability causes reiatsu sensing abilities to scramble when in the presence of the user, and also gives their overall speed and strength a 2x boost [not affecting steps]. The primary perk of this form is that it allows the user to practically use their overflowing reiryoku as a weapon. Most commonly found as waves of energy with the swing or focus of the Shikai of varying power, along with an increase in pressure by 50%.
Name: Poison sting Class: Shikai Ability Type: Passive Range: Close Tier: I Description: With the overwhelming power perk, the length of Hebikiba can run up to 2.5 meters, cutting with pure reiatsu, the cuts of the blade leaves scorches, no wounds. Because of it's poisenous nature, the cuts of the blade inflicting extra pain due to the poison, the heavy burning pain lasts for two posts, leaving acid burns and eventually scars.
Name: Immunity Class: Shikai Ability Type: Passive/augmentive Range: Personal Tier: II-IV Description: The zanpakutou makes Raiden immume to his own posion and acid. Raiden is immume to any tier II poison and acid based attacks, if activated, up to tier IV poison and acid based attacks can be negated for up to 5 posts, this has a 10 post cooldown. After 5 posts of activation, Raiden still has his passive immume to tier II and his own.
Name: Hakai-tekina kyūryū (Destructive torrent) Class: Offensive armor melee item Tier: V Range: Personal Description: The armor and glove being placed around Raiden's left arm only. The gauntlet is attached to the armor. Hakai-tekina kyūryū channels part of the user's reiatsu into the glove, and gives a punch with it one deadly edge. The armor mostly was made to protect the used from the strain it puts, and it does so succesfully, the glove deactivating after a set amount to not put too much strain on the user. The armor able to recieve a lot of blows sucessfully, without losing substantial agility is always an advantage. This item persists through bankai. The glove can block physical strikes from tier V Ability: Changes the first 5 punches that connect into tier V hits., blocks up to tier V physical hits. Cooldown/Drawback: 2 posts cooldown after 5 tier V hits connect. Being on cooldown, however, doesn't mean Raiden can't punch you with it, the cooldown does also not affect the armor rating.
Name: Frost queen's claim Class: Offensive melee item Tier: V Range: Personal Description: As the arrancar, Fryst Dronning tore off Raiden's arm, she soon after felt regret, and re-gifted his arm through ice and reiryoku. Hebikiba immediatly took sovereignity of the reiryoku in the gifted arm, and, so, giving it special properties. Ability: The skin around the blade shreds open and reveals the ice, wich reforms into a poisenous ice-blade. This blade is bankai-tier and deals tier V strikes. This blade is channeled through with Raiden's reiatsu and thus, works with the poison sting and Caustic poison passive. This can only happen once per thread, when the arm is released and destroyed, it regenerates in five posts. When it is sealed and destroyed, it regenerates withing two posts. Cooldown/Drawback: The arm has shikai durability in its sealed state. This item persists through, is usable and can be activated during bankai.
Name: Ju-jitsu. Class: Hand to hand Type: Martial Arts Style. Range: Self. Tier: I Description: Ju-jitsu is a purely defensive martial art form that revolves around the control of the target in question in a manner of ways. From locking to throwing, Ju-jitsu covers the entirety of locking down an opponent with ones body. Of course, Ju-jitsu isn't completely forced to learn only locks, they are taught simple frontal abilities (a jab, kick, a few other basic martial-art techniques) but they are not often utilized, instead often used outside of tournaments.
Ju-jitsu, like Taekwondo, is an incredibly sport-filled martial art. Finding a dojo for Ju-jitsu is incredibly easy, ontop of the factor that it's common for tournaments of any kind, but it isn't as popular as Taekwondo. Even so, it's still popular in it's own right, and is shown on live broadcasts often.
Training Ju-jitsu more often then not requires a partner or something that is in humanoid form, as the grapples and locks are easily ignored if someone has not learned how to correctly hold someone. The style -- or stance -- for Ju-jitsu is incredibly heavy, working in a similar way to Sumo but on a sense that you have to deflect them, rather then push power back at them.
So I will take this burden on and become the holy one
Kaori was not happy with the limited intelligence they were provided with. With the lack of information to go off of, there was no telling what they would be facing: it just as likely to be a Bount as it was an Arrancar. It could be one powerful entity, or it could be multiple targets. Either way, whatever it was, if the Seireitei had though it notable enough to send an investigation team in, even if it was just Substitute Shinigami, it was highly unlikely the cause of the heightened spiritual pressure was from a being with a nominal amount of reiatsu. Kaori was not the type to go in guns blazing; she was cautious and calculating. She didn't take risks when in the midst of battle: every move, ever swing of her sword was methodical, and meant to give her the highest chance of a victory. But this mission they were going in blind, and that meant there wasn't a lot of time to prepare for whatever situation they could encounter. "We've all received the same report, Saitou-san, I do not know any more than you do." And that irritated her, the lack of information they had to go on.
The female followed Raiden out of the Senkaimon, landing gracefully as she surveyed the surrounding territory, keeping her reiatsu condensed around her while simultaneously trying to sense whatever it was they would be facing. She wished the Senkaimon hadn't been set to take them directly on top of their destination, that they could have taken a more stealthy route. She glanced at Jumala, who was of the Stealth division. She knew little on Raiden, but Jumala was the second's representative, and she was confident in her own abilities to move silently enough to not draw unwanted attention. Whoever thought of this strategy hadn't really been a tactician, and the three of them would be at a disadvantage because of it.
She could tell there was something watching them, but it didn't feel particularly powerful. That either meant it wasn't as big a threat as originally conceived, or it was suppressing its reiatsu to weaken their guard. There was still the question of what they were facing, and how many opponents they faced. But she could tell, as reiatsu flared around them, it wasn't one enemy, but a multitude of them. Were they Quincy? The arrows they were firing at the trio seemed to suggest as much. Raiden reacted swiftly, and Kaori was only a pace behind him. "Meikyou!" A transparent layer of reiatsu coated the female, the only sign of the shield's presence being the reflected light of the moon when it caught it. A few of the arrows caught against the shield, but they barely grazed it, and whatever damage the arrows caused were quickly restored with Kaori's reiatsu. "We need a plan, now! These opponents are weak, but they could have back up on the way." And if one of them suggested killing them all, Kaori would smack the first one to suggest it. She was already devising a few strategies in her head, ignoring the arrows that bounced off her protective shield; they weren't doing any sort of damage to her, and right now, a plan had a bit higher priority at that moment.

Description: With the verbal command of its name, this ability is activated. The user's reiryoku engulfs its owner, hardening into a barrier roughly an inch thick and transparent in color. The barrier lasts a total of five posts, and is capable of reflecting any attack of equal or lower advantage back at its castor, retaining the same tier and properties of the original technique. The number of attacks sent at the barrier doesn't matter within these five posts as the user's reiryoku is used to restore it. If an attack has either a higher tier or higher advantages or the user uses all of his/her reiatsu, the shield is shattered instantly, and the user receives the full brunt of damage from the attack.

Description: Created by Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Ikishiroshi is an enhancement of the respiratory system. It allows Kaori to breathe a breath of snow from her mouth. The air feels exactly like a blizzard hitting you, and can cause temporary stinging, especially in the eyes and if inhaled through the nose. A side effect of this ability is Kaori is always breathing out cold air, and her esophagus feels like it's constantly breathing in cold air.
Name: Ashibaya (足早, Light Footed)
Class: Body Modification
Tier: I
Type: Passive enhancement
Range: Self
Description: A modification granted to her by scientist Mayuri Kurotsuchi, Ashibaya is an enhancement of the legs. This modification enhances the maximum capacity of the bones, muscles, and tendons in Kaori's legs, permanently doubling her natural speed, and strengthening them to handle this enhancement.
Name: Utsusu (映, Reflect)
Class: Stepping Variant
Tier: I
Type: Passive
Range: 5 meter radius
Description: A passive ability that activates upon every step the user takes. This ability sends shards of ice shooting up around the user's foot, and catching the light from the sun, and reflecting it outwards. The shards fade away after a complete posting round.
Name: Musubu (結, Bind)
Class: Stepping Variant
Tier: I
Type: Passive
Range: Varies
Description: Yet another addition to Kouri Tejun, Musubu is an ability that is not under the control of its user. This technique automatically starts whenever Kouri Tejun is used to move the user from one place to the other. A thin, transparent line connects each step to one another, its path that of its user. This technique is a binding ability, but because of its low tier rank, is meant more for annoyance for the enemy than to actually trap them. Though transparent in normal circumstances, when the sun's light is caught on the thin strand, it reflects the light, making the strand visible if the opponents are paying enough attention.

Being given little intel wasn't something Jumala like, it pissed him off in truth. As the Representative of the Second Squad he expected more from his Taichou, his Squad was supposedly all about intel and stealth yet neither of which he could fully utilize because of the lack of intel. Jumala's hand was already on his Zanpakuto as they entered the Dangai, feeling no need to respond to Raiden as Kaori had so quickly spoke up. Jumala thought silently on what it could be they would be facing, potentially a powerful Hollow or maybe an Arrancarr. As they exited the Senkaimon however Jumala felt something off, he felt others around them and it didn't take him long to realize what was happening. He quickly flicked his Zanpakuto out as his foot came forward, slamming down as he spoke out "DELCARE THE ORDER MY QUEEN!" Sand erupted outwards to encase him in an Earthen Dome to encapsulate him as the arrows reigned down upon them. "Tch... No wonder the Shinigami hate Quincy so much..." As Kaori said they needed a plan Jumala had already devised one "It's simple Kaori... If they wish to hide, WE FLUSH THEM OUT!" He raised his trident-like staff above him, the sand that was surrounding him began changing rapidly "Suna no Kisaki, Show them the might of the Empress' Judgement!" The ground beneath them quaked as Jumala's Reiatsu soared, sand erupted upwards encapsulating everything caught near them.
"Hide all you want, Nothing can escape Suna no Kisaki's Judgement!" His words called out to the would-be-attackers, the sand began swirling around the three for a brief moment before exploding outwards. Jumala was a quick thinker, if they were attacking them they'd either need to move to not be hit or take the brunt of the force and hope that he didn't notice where they were. Specifically the Empress' Judgement meant that nothing would escape if it caught them, it would entomb those hit by it in such a thick layer of sand that anything caught within would be crushed to death. Jumala wasn't one to take kindly to being attacked, the Menos Grande that dared to try and attack his family found that out the hard way.

{Techs}Name: Earthern Dome Class: Release Tier: V Type: Defensive Range: 20 Meter Radius; Focal point is Jumala Speed: Cero Description:Encasing himself and his immediate surroundings, Jumala summons a spherical dome around himself with enough strength to block almost anything from breaching it. For it's duration, he can 'renew' it's defenses each post, however each post he does this cuts down the duration for which it can remain. Attacks and techniques with a power of less than IV will not damage it's durability. Tier V will damage it and lower it's duration by 1. Tier VI have the potential to break through it, however it cannot damage the occupants.
Name: The Empress' Judgement Class: Release Tier: IV Type: Offensive Range: 100 Meters in all directions from the ground Description: The Empress' Judgement calls forth all sand within 100 meters in all directions of Jumala, entombing the target in an extremely thick layer of sand and trapping them there with no way to escape once it entombs the target except teleportation. This lasts for 6 rounds and drains all air from the victim in order to rapidly suffocate the target and cause them to breathe in the sand. Because of this, if the target is entombed by this technique if they cannot escape within the 6 rounds the death of anyone caught within this technique at this point is almost assured.

With a pained groan, Raiden wrenched the arrow from his shoulder and looked up. He was by no means a whimp. So, a quincy arrow having been able to penetrate even his spiritual resilience, meant that their foes were at least of some caliber that could prove dangerous. He rolled his right shoulder as his colleagues got ahead of him, causing him to smirk slowly. The dome of sand was raised around them and bursted outwards. "We walked right into an ambush." Raiden snorted as he shouldered hebikiba again. Jumala's sand dome had indeed killed a large part of their assailants, with the proper screams of pain, fear and agony. But they weren't safe just yet. There were still surrounded by numerous quincy.
"I'm not the best at plans," he grinned slowly, "I'll let you two come up with something." Their assailants, having recovered of the attack from Jumala readied another volley for the shinigami. "I'll take my left." Was what Raiden said as he ducked in his stance, the tip of Hebikiba scraping over the forest's floor. He turned on his feet, energy manifesting in the enormous zanpakutou, before unleashing a vertical arc of poisenous energy towards the given direction. His back was now turned to his two colleagues. A plan in itself, cover eachother's flanks untill a better plan was set in motion. The arrows dissipated under the reishi Raiden send at them, slicing through the trees and leaving them to rot, with the same hissing sound. With a slow huff, he glanced over his shoulder.
A heavy reiatsu signature was closing in. Obviously. Not even trying to hide or surpress itself. It rivalled or even surpassed Raiden's current level, the one with the heaviest spiritual pressure of the three. Ofcourse, he had to announce it. "Something's coming."

Kaori barely resisted the urge to roll her eyes with Jumala's comment. He made it sound so simple and obvious, but it wasn't quite that easy. That wasn't a strategy, it was the end result. But right now wasn't the time to have an argument over definitions with her hot headed friend; now was the time to fight. But the blue haired shinigami's next attack was effective, and it bought them a bit of time to rethink their strategy, something that didn't involve walking unprepared into the middle of an ambush. The sand swirled around them before blasting outwards, enveloping the Quincies and crushing those who didn't escape the attack in time. "There's no need to state the obvious, Saitou-san." Kaori pulled the Zanpakutou free of its sheath on her right hip, and gripped the sword in a practiced grip in front of her.
Raiden stated he would cover his left, and Kaori gave a slight nod. She could work with that. "Cover the right Heikka-san. I'll watch both of your backs." The silver haired female didn't wait for a reply from either male, and expected Jumala to follow her lead. She leaped into the air, pooling her reiatsu around her feet to keep her afloat. Here she'd be able to watch the battlefield over. A few more arrows kept hitting the transparent shield that surrounded her body, but they didn't have any affect, instead disappearing into the air as they were destroyed.
Her sharp eyes spotted a Quincy who was trying to sneak up behind Raiden, hoping an arrow to the back would stop his rampage against his teammates. Kaori pointed her hand at him, two of her fingers touching one another as she called out a single word. "Tsumugiito." The Quincy had manifested his bow, but as the rope shot out from Kaori's fingers, it entangled around him, sealing his arms at his side, and the bow disappeared from sight. Kaori pulled her arm back, and before the Quincy had any chance to react, the thin, transparent rope was rapidly shortening, pulling the Quincy towards the female. She brandished her Zanpakutou in front of her, and the rope pulled the bound Quincy onto its edge, piercing his heart. The rope disappeared, and Kaori flicked her sword, sending the dead man crashing to the ground.
Raiden shouted about a new, stronger presence moments after Kaori herself felt it, and the female focused briefly on it, trying to figure out if it was a Quincy, or maybe even a Hollow drawn to the area at the carnage that surrounded them. It could have been something else entirely different as well.

Class: Reiryoku Technique
Tier: III
Type: Binding
Range: 25 meters
Description: The user calls out the name of the technique, and uses their hand to control a transparent thread. The thread itself is very thin, but possesses the strength and durability of a tier three, and though transparent, it can catch the light of the sun which will reveal its presence. The thread is a binding technique, and when it reaches the opponent (moving at half bala speed), it wraps the opponent's middle, sealing their arms against their sides. The user is able to throw opponents around with this thread, and can free them at their will. Lasts a single post, but the user can keep reusing the technique per post to keep it in effect.

This technique is a binding ability, but because of its low tier rank, is meant more for annoyance for the enemy than to actually trap them. Though transparent in normal circumstances, when the sun's light is caught on the thin strand, it reflects the light, making the strand visible if the opponents are paying enough attention.
Once more Kaori spoke before Jumala could, and caused Jumala to simply stay quiet as he looked around. They filled the area, his tremor senses could feel it. As Jumala closed his eyes and focused on the things happening around them Kaori spoke once more, a slight smirk on Jumala's face. Kaori expected him to do as she said, and in truth he could disobey her 'orders' quite easily... However this wasn't the time for that, they were surrounded and more were likely on the way. As Kaori lifted off the ground Jumala nodded to her, Raising his hand as he opened his eyes. His staff began to float on it's own as Jumala raised his hands to his sides with his palms facing upwards, The very earth around him began to quake once more "Watch your footing, Saitou-san, The earth is about to move." He warned, and indeed very soon after a massive area began to rapidly change and the earth itself 100 meters round began to shift and stir. Jumala himself began to slowly lift from the ground "They may have survived the Empress' Judgement, But fear the Emperor's Judgement, for it shall not be so kind!" Those Quincy that still remained on the ground found themselves rapidly encased in sand, screams came out as loud muffles and Jumala's intentions made quite obvious.
He wasn't oblivious however, he knew there was another coming... One far more powerful. But that was why they needed a crowd clearer, so they could all focus on the one who posed a far greater threat to them than these pawns. "Saitou-san, deal with him. Kaori and Myself shall deal with these pawns and join you shortly thereafter." He said, his hands wafting through the air and commanding the sand he had created to swarm over the Quincy that were still somehow alive whilst Kaori dealt with the ones that he missed.

However for something like Metal, who's base element would be considered Earth, he can) There are very few who can control this better than he can, and fewer still who can even attempt to fight his dominance over it.

Once surrounded, it gives the opponent no chance to escape as it blocks all possible escape routes unless they use some sort of Teleportation technique to escape it. This technique works similar to Byakuya's Senkei, however instead of cutting it's opponent to ribbons, The sand merely crushes the target into oblivion.
"Got'cha," Raiden replied as Kaori told them she'd have their back. Quite the powerful trinity. While this was the first time the three of them were in proper combat, Raiden was amazed at how well they synergised. He'd have expected getting in the way, or having gotten in the way off much more. Yet his comrades in arms' performance was stellar. Wich only pleasantly surprised him. He quite liked it, the feeling of having someone gaurding your back. Or two someones, in this case. He arched an eyebrow at Jumala's yelled warning, nodding. He had no idea what the his fellow substitute shinigami meant. All he knew was that he had to prepare for losing his footing.
However, as he felt the ground shift underneath him, Raiden let out a soft curse as he turned around and flung the enormous blade into the nearest tree, impaling a quincy against it while he was at it. Raiden dissappeared from sight, appearing ontop of the blade only moments later, to glance around. Whatever this powerful thing was, if they didn't hurry up, it'd have prepared at least one hell of an ambush. He glanced at Jumala as he told Raiden to go hold up the powerful entity while they were cleaning this pest up.
Solid plan.
Raiden grabbed the hilt of Hebikiba and dissappeared with several splinters, tatches and quincy guts flying everywhere with his rather sloppy shunpo.
It was roughly sixty meters north. Raiden's eyes widened as he felt the sudden influx of power and flung his armour gauntlet forward. A dry and extremely loud clunk would be heard by even Kaori and Jumala during their battle with the pawns, wich were rapidly diminishing in number.
Raiden landed in the clearing he was above during the first clash with their foe, shaking his hand. "You guys sure are tough," he stated as the quincy appeared infront of him. "Broke several knuckles," he said with a grin, before slipping the blade over his back and letting it drop to the ground, before he charged forward.
{Techniques} Name: Hakai-tekina kyūryū (Destructive torrent) Class: Offensive armor melee item Tier: V Range: Personal Description: The armor and glove being placed around Raiden's left arm only. The gauntlet is attached to the armor. Hakai-tekina kyūryū channels part of the user's reiatsu into the glove, and gives a punch with it one deadly edge. The armor mostly was made to protect the used from the strain it puts, and it does so succesfully, the glove deactivating after a set amount to not put too much strain on the user. The armor able to recieve a lot of blows sucessfully, without losing substantial agility is always an advantage. This item persists through bankai. The glove can block physical strikes from tier V -Glove around Raiden's left hand- -Armor around Raiden's left arm/thorax- Ability: Changes the first 5 punches that connect into tier V hits., blocks up to tier V physical hits. Cooldown/Drawback: 2 posts cooldown after 5 tier V hits connect. Being on cooldown, however, doesn't mean Raiden can't punch you with it, the cooldown does also not affect the armor rating. -4 punches left-

Hebikiba immediatly took sovereignity of the reiryoku in the gifted arm, and, so, giving it special properties. Ability: The skin around the blade shreds open and reveals the ice, wich reforms into a poisenous ice-blade. This blade is bankai-tier and deals tier V strikes. This blade is channeled through with Raiden's reiatsu and thus, works with the poison sting and Caustic poison passive. This can only happen once per thread, when the arm is released and destroyed, it regenerates in five posts. When it is sealed and destroyed, it regenerates withing two posts. Cooldown/Drawback: The arm has shikai durability in its sealed state. This item persists through, is usable and can be activated during bankai.

Tier: I Description: Ju-jitsu is a purely defensive martial art form that revolves around the control of the target in question in a manner of ways. From locking to throwing, Ju-jitsu covers the entirety of locking down an opponent with ones body. Of course, Ju-jitsu isn't completely forced to learn only locks, they are taught simple frontal abilities (a jab, kick, a few other basic martial-art techniques) but they are not often utilized, instead often used outside of tournaments.
Ju-jitsu, like Taekwondo, is an incredibly sport-filled martial art. Finding a dojo for Ju-jitsu is incredibly easy, ontop of the factor that it's common for tournaments of any kind, but it isn't as popular as Taekwondo. Even so, it's still popular in it's own right, and is shown on live broadcasts often.
Training Ju-jitsu more often then not requires a partner or something that is in humanoid form, as the grapples and locks are easily ignored if someone has not learned how to correctly hold someone. The style -- or stance -- for Ju-jitsu is incredibly heavy, working in a similar way to Sumo but on a sense that you have to deflect them, rather then push power back at them.
Constant release perk: Overwhelming Power: This buff is an incomplete cap left on the compression of power, causing for explosive torrents of reiatsu to surge around the user. This form of ability causes reiatsu sensing abilities to scramble when in the presence of the user, and also gives their overall speed and strength a 2x boost [not affecting steps]. The primary perk of this form is that it allows the user to practically use their overflowing reiryoku as a weapon. Most commonly found as waves of energy with the swing or focus of the Shikai of varying power, along with an increase in pressure by 50%.
Name: Poison sting Class: Shikai Ability Type: Passive Range: Close Tier: I Description: With the overwhelming power perk, the length of Hebikiba can run up to 2.5 meters, cutting with pure reiatsu, the cuts of the blade leaves scorches, no wounds. Because of it's poisenous nature, the cuts of the blade inflicting extra pain due to the poison, the heavy burning pain lasts for two posts, leaving acid burns and eventually scars.
Name: Immunity Class: Shikai Ability Type: Passive/augmentive Range: Personal Tier: II-IV Description: The zanpakutou makes Raiden immume to his own posion and acid. Raiden is immume to any tier II poison and acid based attacks, if activated, up to tier IV poison and acid based attacks can be negated for up to 5 posts, this has a 10 post cooldown. After 5 posts of activation, Raiden still has his passive immume to tier II and his own.
Name: Body fling Class: Human stepping Type: Stepping Range: up to 100 meters Tier: I Description: Focussing on the reiatsu under his feet, he propels himself towards given direction with explosive speed. Causing the ground to shatter underneath his point of start. He marks the destination with a faint glow from his reiatsu as a sense of direction. This can also be used in shinigami form. There does not have to a glow of reiatsu when he uses his zanpakutou as anchor for this technique. Various of these spots can appear at the same time to chain up the stepping technique or cause confusion on a target.
Name: Shunpo (Flash Steps) Class: Stepping Type: Stepping Range: N/A Tier: I Description: A movement technique that allows the user to move extremely quickly over short distances. The focal point that determines the basis of this technique is speed. Therefore what determines the level of skill in a user for Shunpo is best characterized by how fast one can get from A to B in the least amount of steps. Auto-gained for Shinigami at ML.

It was strange, working with these two. Thus far, each of the thirteen Crisis Core members had fought as individuals, engaging their own enemies, fighting for their own agendas. If she had to place a wager, she'd certainly place it that most of them had fought alongside their own division members more than they had their other substitute comrades. It was something she'd have to remember to bring up with their leader, perhaps to get joint mission assignments, that way each of them could learn to fight as a team with the other members. So far, the three of them were fighting rather well together, despite not knowing what the others' Zanpakutou was capable of, and what their fighting styles were. It was surprising really, that they hadn't accidentally hurt one another with their techniques yet.
A new presence had arrived, this one far more powerful than the Quincy fodder they were fighting. Jumala called to Raiden to slow the oncoming presence, whatever it was, down while he and Kaori dealt with the stragglers, and would join him thereafter. A solid plan, Kaori couldn't help admitting. When Raiden left to deal with the greater threat, the female Substitute Shinigami was swift to move to take up the position he had just vacated.
Her sword slashed as she blocked the various arrows, flashing towards the Quincies who shot at her, and cutting them down where they stood. Her Mirror Shield was rendering their attacks basically useless as they clanged against the invisible barrier of reiatsu, probably making her out to be a more dangerous foe than she truly was. But that was Kaori's battle style: deception. She deceived her opponents, either by luring them into a false sense of security by making herself out to be weaker than she was, or by making them fear what she was capable of by putting off an air that she was stronger than what she truly was.
The opponents crippled by Raiden now lay dead or dying around her, and Kaori turned her attention to Jumala. She doubted she'd need to, but if she had to step in and help him, she would. Otherwise, she'd join Raiden and face down this new threat he was combating.

Indeed one might even call his movements beautiful, exotic even. He noticed the dwindling numbers however, perhaps they weren't reinforcing with more... Perhaps it was merely the one. Whoever this being was, they were a fool to think they could challenge an Emperor and his Empress and live. In fact, his very presence threatened that which he held dear... Kaori. Slaughter them like the dogs they are!" Jumala had no mercy, None would be spared.

Name: The Empress' Decree Class: Release Tier: III Type: Summoning (4 Summoned; 6 posts remaining) Range: 25 Meters Description:The Empress' Decree allows Jumala to summon various objects to his disposal. The following is a list of all the things that're possible to create, along with a brief description.
Soldier - Jumala can create a maximum of 4 of these and each one lasts for 6 posts individually. Once 4 in total have been summoned, no more can be summoned until 2 posts after the first one is either destroyed or goes away naturally. These Soldiers can inflict tier 1 damage and can be commanded individually, they have a durability equal to tier 1. They draw their attacks from the Weapon Skill Mastery.

"Blut, you cross bred shinigami mongrel," the commander answered to Raiden's initial notion, before the fight truly broke out, the clashing of sword against sword. Both of them moved at great speed, exchanching blows that made the ground underneath them shudder and thrum with energy. A brief moment the two were in a deadlock, swords crossed. Raiden's poisoned sword dripping the deadly toxin and hissing on contact. "I'm gonna shred through it," the substitute shinigami promised before he suddenly pushed his blade forward, opening his foe up for an attack, delivering a sickening headbutt, before slamming his blade against the ground. Poisenous energy surged through it and Raiden grit his teeth. The substitute shinigami adjusted his grip to grab the massive hilt with two hands and slicing it upwards to send the quincy commander spiralling up in the air with an enormous slice of energy propelling him further. "Tag!" He called out loudly, having sensed Kaori and Jumala finishing up the pawns, at least one of them on their way.
The way the quincy commander was in the air, there was a brief window for someone else to provide a second attack. If done properly, this fight could be ended before it even properly began.
