Fisticuffs [Fuu]

Fuu yawned as she woke and sat up, stretching and letting out a low moan. Moving from the bed as Kuroda slept, she began her daily morning routine. As she stepped into the tower she closed her eyes, having too still get used to being blind as she used her hands to help guide her around the rooms. She was glad that Kuroda was still asleep, he still didn't know about her... 'condition' and she wanted to keep it that way as long as possible. It took her about 15 minutes longer than she might've wanted, but she did eventually manage to wash herself and moved from the shower.

As she made her way slowly back into their room she allowed her towel to drop, grabbing her Shihakasho and pulling it on before grasping her Zanpakuto's and letting out a soft sigh of relief as vision came to her finally. She strapped the two Gauntlet's to her waist before heading out, Kuroda was still asleep thankfully but he wouldn't worry too much hopefully. It took her quite a bit longer to get to the training grounds, she was used to just seeing Soul Society but sadly... Now she couldn't. Her step took her quite a bit longer to do since she had to do it in small bursts as she tried to get used to and memorize the buildings of Soul Society. Though when she did finally arrive she entered by simply walking in, keeping her ears tuned to the sounds around her as she tried to find the person she was here to spar against.

Fuurinji kept her ears open and her senses fine tuned as she wandered through the training grounds, nimbly dodging and ducking between a few other Shinigami that were sparing almost like she wasn't even there to begin with. That's when she heard someone call her name, or rather, ask if she was Fuurinji. Her ears twitched a bit as she spun a bit to find the person, not staring at them directly but more staring towards the ground but in their direction "Yes, I am her." She said, listening to the woman give her name she smiled and fully turned around, bowing to her swiftly "I see, A pleasure to meet you. You are the one that wished to spar correct?" She asked, recalling the invitation and the challenge. She was one of, if not the best, Hand-to-hand expert in her division, and one of the most skilled in all the Gotei. Though she probably didn't compare to the legends of Sui-Feng or Yoruichi Shihoin, she still liked to think herself a deadly opponent when it came to this sort of thing.

She gave her one more bow before a smile came across her face "Shall we begin then? And are we to spar here?" She asked, though she wasn't that great at sensing Reiatsu, she could tell this woman was similar to herself. The Reiatsu she wielded was unruly and chaotic just like hers, and she too possessed two Zanpakuto's. This alone piqued her interest quite a bit as she wished to see just how well connected to her Zanpakuto's she was "If I might make a request though, would you mind showing me how well you and your Zanpakuto communicate?" She asked, grabbing her gauntlet's from her side "I can sense we're not so different, you and I, so how about we tango a bit before we begin our spar proper? Like a... As the humans might say, warm up match." She said, knocking the talons of her Gauntlet's together as if issuing her own personal challenge to the girl.

Remember Fuu, her Zanpakuto might not be like us... And she might not have the same connection we to it that we share. Fuurinji mentally nodded to this as she listened to the girl's responses in turn, When she asked about the bankai thing she tilted her head but shook it soon after "No I do not refer to Bankai, What I ask is about your communication itself. Let me clarify a bit" She said, following the girl as she moved to her Zanpakuto and finished speaking "What I refer too is how you and your Zanpakuto communicate with each other in the midst of battle, For instance Soyokaze and Kamikaze, our bond is so strong that it allows me to read the wind itself and never be startled or caught off guard except by the strongest of enemies." She said, turning to her.

"My communication with both of them is so strong, in fact, that nothing can come near me without me knowing of it's presence. Even those who attempt to hide themselves from me cannot approach me without me knowing, I have no need to sense your Reiatsu as I can see everything about you through just my Zanpakuto's eyes." She explained, smiling to her "I wish to see how strong your bond is with your Zanpakuto-" She paused, pulling the right Gauntlet from it's resting place "This here is Kamikaze, she's the fighter of the two. To top this off she isn't satisfied in combat until she's beaten everything the enemy can throw right back at them." She placed it back before pulling the other one up "This here is Soyokaze, and she is the exact opposite of Kamikaze. She's the motherly type, doesn't like to fight except when she has too. Two opposites in the same body, two chaotic forces battling for supremacy and me as the sole neutralizer in the fight. My communication must be nothing but the best between them and myself, anything less and I run the risk of something deadly happening" She had no qualms with telling an ally how her Zanpakuto's worked, even if they were about to spar doing such a thing was still of little detriment to her. Even if Meilin knew how her Zanpakuto worked in it's entirety, it would still prove difficult to overcome.

"As for your last question, I am sure. It will let me assess where you stand as well as warming us up, besides Kamikaze wouldn't accept anything but the absolute most from you and your Zanpakuto's. If that means we have to wake her up then so be it, we'll force her awake whether she likes it or not." Fuurinji gave Meilin a big grin as she pulled both her Gauntlet's from where they rested and pulled her fists up in a fighting stance, one arm lowered towards the ground with the other raised up to, and behind, her head as she began to dance back and forth on her feet before kicking back a bit "So go ahead, Meilin, hit me with everything you got... And I'll make sure that your Zanpakuto's wake up in one punch."

Fuurinji smirked to herself, closing her eyes as Meilin picked her Zanpakuto's up and as she said they were up for it she vanished. When she reappeared her right arm was covered in a black Reiatsu as she brought it forward, all of her strength held behind her fist as she brought it forward just as she was trying to ready herself as she aimed it instead of at Meilin herself, her fist was aimed directly at her blades themselves. "And if they refuse to wake up then I'll shatter them both!" She said as her fists came forth, with the speed she came forward at she had little doubts that she wouldn't catch Meilin off guard and if by chance she managed to dodge out of the way the resulting shockwave would severely dent the ground beneath where Meilin stood at one point.

"So tell me Meilin, have they decided to take us seriously yet?" She asked, looking up still with her eyes shut "Or do they still refuse to acknowledge that this spar is still a battle?" She asked but before she allowed Meilin to respond she vanished once more before coming crashing down again from above, this time however her fist came straight for Meilin's right shoulder and aimed to dislocate it with one powerful punch.

Description: Tesshō is completely reliant on the user's physical strength without any use of spiritual, and because of that is powered simply by a thrust of the arm. By thrusting forwards or downwards with the flat of their palm, the user of Tesshō has the ability to crush anything it comes into contact with, and if hit in the head can shatter through just about any resistance, including up to Advanced Hierro.

The fact this woman could dodge an attack such as this was surprising in truth, that she could dodge two in a row was even more surprising considering just how close she was each time. As Fuurinji stood her foot came up, swiping at the blades of water being sent at her. Black Reiatsu fired forth in an arc to counter the attack, Fuu's hand moving to become flat against the ground as she did so. Vanishing the moment her hand touched the ground she continued along that trajectory and reappeared behind Meilin, bringing her leg down to strike hard against the girl and send a spiking sharp pain straight down her entire body to wholely render the left side of her body completely numb, rather than aim Jikkou at her chest as she wasn't aiming to kill the girl or destroy her soul chain... Only send her crashing into the ground with one attack. Regardless, however, if that attack landed or not her next action took place almost immediately after her foot made contact.

If her attack did indeed send Meilin to the ground, her hand would reach down swiftly to grab her neck and kick off of the ground. Pulling Meilin along with her away from the training grounds.

If, however, her attack missed she'd use her Shunpo once more to vanish and reappear wherever it was that Meilin would stop and directly beneath her, reaching up to still grab at her neck and take off once more.

Fuurinji's goal here wasn't nessecarily to injure the girl, but rather enable her to bring Meilin away from the training grounds so she could stop holding back. Either this girl herself was holding back and Fuurinji wanted to see what it was like if she didn't, or Fuurinji herself was tired of holding back. That was the only problem being inside Soul Society, only Constant Releases like herself and Meilin could have their Shikai active during times of peace, simply because they couldn't be sealed as it'd kill them... And Bankai's were not allowed to be released at all unless a Time of War was issued and currently that was not so. Meilin could probably deduce this rather easily considering just how powerful Fuurinji herself was, though they were close to equals something about Fuurinji gave her a distinct advantage... But what could that be?

"Already Fuu? Isn't it a bit early?" "No... Not me, I want to see if she has it. And if she doesn't, she'll understand why she has to get it.." "What if she does have it? Will you release us as well?" "Maybe... It depends on how skilled she is with it." "What if she doesn't though? What will you do then?" "..." "Will you kill her?" "Or will you train her?" "Will you break her bones?" "Or will you help her?" "Will you make her regret becoming a Shinigami?" "Or will you make her want to become a stronger Shinigami?" "...." A blank expression played across Fuurinji's face as this 'conversation' happened inside of her head. What would she do? Once she released her Bankai... "Will you be able to control us?" "Or will we control you?"

Description: There is no need for a profuse description, for this ability is simple. Requiring only enough spiritual energy to form energy along the hand. The user of Jikkou will therein either touch, hit, or grab the target in question, and the energy that coats the hand of the user will condense into a thin line of energy, just wide enough to cause serious damage, which would be shot directly towards the heart / soul chain / hollow hole. The beam of energy moves at cero speeds, and if it hits the destination could end the fight before it's begun.

It seemed while she was having her internal monologue with her spirits this girl thought herself free, her head snapped down as the girl swung her lower half. "Pathetic..." She said as she lifted the girl backwards quickly, flinging her downwards into the ground rather far outside of Soul Society considering how brief their trip really was. It was time for the true test, it was time to test just how close Meilin was to her Zanpakuto's... And if she failed, Fuurinji would ensure she understood why the bond between Zanpakuto and Shinigami was so dreadfully important. She wasn't aiming to insult the girl, she wasn't aiming to make her feel weak... She was aiming to make her strong. Fuurinji knew what might happen if she didn't get strong enough, Fuurinji feared that happening to herself all too much.

Begin Song

Using her Shunpo to get down to the ground quickly as she looked over towards where she had flung Meilin "Now, Show me. Stop holding back!" She practically roared as she brought her two Gauntlet's together and caused the air to begin kicking up around her "Meilin Tachibana!" Release everything you've got, Show me the full extent of your Shikai!" She brought her fists up once more as the black Reiatsu that coated her arm flared up and she lunged forward, however as she thrust her arm forward a second fist would appear behind her aiming to strike her in center of her back, this second form seeming to only appear as the other came within 5 feet of Meilin.

Description:By clapping her gauntlets together, Fuurinji can generate a blast of air (Cero-speed) with enough force to flatten the immediate area around her. If anything or anyone is strong enough to resist the damaging blast wave itself, the raging torrent of air it leaves behind in its wake would be enough to severely restrict the freedom of movement for a brief period of time (x3 reduction to speed for one [1] post).

Description:Through her Wind-infused Reiryoku, Fuurinji can create clones infused with her wind reiryoku. Instead of dealing the normal Bludgeoning from their Hand-2-Hand deal cutting damage due to the Wind Reiryoku they're infused with.

Meilin would be rather disappointed, as the blades ripped through the clone that had appeared in front of her Fuurinji, who had moved behind her, had managed to get within striking distance before she could turn her attention. It seemed like she was willing to take a hit to dish one out as well, for as the five blades came at her Fuurinji's fist surged forward. Fuurinji would get hit, but so would Meilin. The resulting shockwave as her fist slammed into the right arm of Meilin would be enough to send them both flying away from each other, however when the dust settled Meilin would see the damage caused to her own arm from the powerful strike that Fuurinji had dealt. Fuurinji wasn't without injury however, all along her entire arm she had gashes. Blood poured down her arm like a tiny river, heavy panting came from her as she slowly righted herself and smirked towards the girl. "You're at least not holding back anymore... And keeping up with me is rather impressive." She said, they were both at this point roughly 20 meters from each other. "Tell me... How's your Kido?" She asked, placing her hands together as she began to chant "Fall, bringers of death, for you shall enpower my conviction! Hado no Nijyuhachi, Kōtetsu no ame!" As the incantation and words finished a gaseous cloud would form around Meilin for but a brief moment before erupting into a hail of steel needles moving at half-bala speed, aiming to skewer into the girl.

Description: Fuurinji's zanpakuto allows her to literally read the flow of air with such astounding clarity that it was as if she were reading lines from a book. This skill thus gives her a heightened sense of awareness of her immediate area to a point where she can detect almost anyone and anything with ease, given that there is air present. As such, even moderately powerful abilities which mask presences are rendered wholly ineffective (as long as this technique has the advantage over the opponent's technique/s) for while her visual and auditory senses may fail her, Fuurinji's reinforced perception never will.

Description: Major Yin is the black majority in the yinyang circle, and is an overwhelming evil that is caused with catastrophe or something of similar grandeur. Major Yin as an ability coats the entire right arm with black energy, increasing the punching power of that arm, and also causes everything that it touches that isn't spiritual in nature to rot away and die. When Major Yin is in use, Major Yang and Minor Yin cannot be used.

Name: Hadō #28 Kōtetsu no ame (Steel Rain) **
Class: Kido
Tier: III
Type: Offensive
Range: Medium (30m away from caster, 3m radius for cloud)
Incantation: Fall, bringers of death, for you shall enpower my conviction!
Description: This is a spell that involves enveloping the air with energy into a circular cloud, which makes it slightly easier to detect. Once the energy bursts, steel needles fall down upon the enemy at half-Bala speed, piercing the opponent like a katana.

Fuurinji panted heavily as she heard the words being chanted from the girl, her eyes opening widening as she quickly entered her step just as the spike erupted underneath her. Exiting several meters into the air as she continued letting out a heavy pant, looking down at her arm which now seemed to refuse to move. It was then that she heard something behind her, turning quickly she heard the call out of another Kido. Fuurinji, however, seemed a bit too slow as Meilin seemed to arrive almost at the same time as she did. The blue torrent screeched down at her, enveloping the Shinigami and sending her crashing into the ground. A loud *CRASH* was heard as she made a small crater where she landed, a pained expression on her face though it seemed the impact popped her shoulder back into place.

Begin

Screw kido! Let us out already dammit Fuurinji! Let's show her what true power is! ...Fuurinji... Fuurinji slowly got up, panting out softly as she raised her hands slowly as though she were giving up. However, as her head rose and her face showed a blank expression she clapped her hands together hard, letting out a loud blast wave. While it wouldn't seem to immediately have an affect, after just a few moments when a tornado seemed to whip up around her a single word was uttered... A single word that could be heard over even the tornado itself. "Ban...kai" The tornado seemed to begin lashing around chaotically, dark green Reiatsu seemed to rip out from it almost like green lightning. It tore up the landscape around them until a single claw pierced the tornado and tore downwards, in an instant the tornado vanished to reveal a new competitor. "Sobou Furui Megami no Kaze" Fuurinji knelt down for but a moment before she vanished to reappear behind Meilin, still yet nothing she did seemed to make sound and the only indication would be what she said... or rather, how she said it. "What about now? Do they take us seriously now?" She asked, though despite being directly behind Meilin she made no attack against her.

Benefit: This buff is an incomplete cap left on the compression of power, causing for explosive torrents of reiatsu to surge around the user. This form of ability causes reiatsu sensing abilities to scramble when in the presence of the user, and also gives their overall speed, and strength a 3x boost (not effecting steps). The prime perk of this form is to allow the wielder to release waves of energy with their sword swings of varying power (Power of each would be named on use) and increase the pressure of their reiatsu twofold.

Name: 天来風支配 - Tenraikaze Shihai (Divine Wind Domination)
Class: Zanpakuto Spirit (Bankai)

Description: Tenraikaze Shihai was one of the first technique for Fuurinji to learn from her Bankai and it's the most basic principle for her fighting style. Brute force without Brute Force. Tenraikaze Shihai allows her complete domination over the wind itself, combining her Shikai technique; Flow Detection; with complete control over the wind within a 50m radius around her (centered on her). This means nothing that moves, whether it be a reishi arrow, kido or even a cero, is used without her immediately knowing about it. Only the strongest concealment techniques would be able to hide from her and even those would only make her unable to see them directly. Add to this it also allows her to whip the air itself around and use it as a weapon, attacks done by this deal tier 3 damage.

"Shatter... Her" Fuurinji watched as the girl moved away, her reaction was slow... Predictable. She had no variance in the way she moved, that much could easily be seen by Fuurinji despite being blind. Even as the snow began to fall, Fuurinji didn't move an inch as the wind around her ripped up the area immediately surrounding her, causing the snow to be blown away from her. "Predictable..." She slowly raised her hand as she began to chant "Ye Lord! Mask of flesh and iron, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man! The nimbus swirls, Ash reeks, Soar on to the west!" She said as she extended out a single arm and the claw began glowing a bright yellow "Hado no Sanjyuni; Ōkasen!" As she said the Hado she swiped her arm across in front of her like she was lashing out at the girl, a yellow arc of Reiatsu streaked out at 10x the speed of a Cero. A loud screech was heard as it fired out, however this was only to distract Meilin as she vanished after lashing out to follow Meilin if she were to use her step or merely appear behind her if she stood still.

Reaching out with one arm to grab Meilin's shoulder, her other hand came up before slashing down aimed right at Meilin's back. Her attack was aimed in such a way as to slash across from Meilin's top left shoulder down to the bottom right side of her hips, Fuurinji had clearly gotten more aggressive since releasing her bankai as was evident by her sudden lashing out at the girl. "If you wish to win, You two will need to do better than a bit of snow" Though at first it might seem like she was talking of Meilin and her Zanpakuto... In reality she was directly addressing them, almost as though she were expecting them to lash out themselves at her.
