PERSONALITY

Kyoko is your typical Japanese teenager, although there are a few noticeable traits to her appearance. Her hair, normally silver, can glimmer different shades of blue to almost a teal under direct light. While that is something special, the most special aspect is her left eye. Kyoko was born with heterochromia, causing her left eye to be golden while her right eye is a crimson. Due to her parents having darker colored eyes, it is perceived that her golden eye is the mutation.

HISTORY

The majority of Kyoko's history happens at time before her time, twenty years before current time, five years before her birth. This may be a hard concept to grasp, for normal human beings are unsure of what happens after death. However, it is well known by the spiritual races, life does not end with death in the human realm. Kyoko, Tiru as she was called in her other life, was one of these spiritual races. A shinigami, sworn to protect the human realm that she had left behind after her death. Things come full cycle though, as death as a spiritual race, more often than not returns the spirit into another human shell.

Kyoko lacks knowledge of her time as a shinigami, though her impact on the spiritual realm will last through her current human lifetime, and long into her life after death once more. Tiru, as she was called, fervently upheld the duties and responsibilities of the shinigami. Slowly but surely rising through their ranks, Tiru held a position of high regard during much of her afterlife. It seemed that she was the perfect example of a shinigami, though there were different personality traits that caused her to become questionable. A tragic event caused her to get branded a traitor to the cause she helped, and staying true to her nature, Tiru allowed herself to be sacrificed after leaving a message with all involved. There needed to be more justice and equality, hatred between races simply because of their race was not the way to be.

While her spiritual life may have been filled with big events, her new human life was all but void. She was raised to be normal, has lived a normal life, and has never questioned anything more than just that. Like anyone with a special condition that causes them to look different, Kyoko was often picked on, but she made her difference work for her. It is all part of being human.

Description: Tiru pools her reiatsu to a point above her fingertip then extends it four feet in front of her. The extension happens at the speed of a bala. It can be shortened anywhere below this point but the maximum distance is four feet. Her reiatsu moves quickly in the form of a thin blade which not only cuts but burns things on contact. Flesh and clothing are the only things vulnerable to the burning effects of this ability. The blade is durable enough to stop weapon strikes of equal advantage.

-2 advantage: Cutting is fairly simple a task and the burn effects would be felt with the blade just passing near the body.
-1 advantage: Cutting again is fairly simple. The burn effects need to make contact with the skin in order to be felt now.
= advantage: Cutting is normal. The burn effect only happens through prolonged contact with the skin.
+1 advantage: Cutting is now difficult to do with this type of blade. Prolonged contact with begin to cut through the skin as well as burn the flesh.
+2 advantage: Cutting is extremely difficult nearly impossible. The burn effect would need a fair deal of time on the skin order to produce any meaningful damage.
(In all of these ranks clothing still reacts the same burning from simple touches unless the clothes are defended by reiatsu at which time the burn affects would be the same as the rank chart)
