APPEARANCE
A baby blue-haired, blue-eyed " Yamato Nadeshiko" who stands at a slightly above average height of 160cm and weighs in at 48.5kg. During her tours with her squad, she seldomly keeps herself well groomed and wears her Shinigami uniform in an unkempt and disheveled way which would often flash peeks of her B77-W58-H79 body to any passersby. When out of duty however, Utako's sloppy dressing takes a full turn to show her as a picture of traditional elegance which she describes as "from Shit-kai to Bang-kai". She would often wear her kimono when out of duty, especially her cerulean floral-patterned one she bought with her very first paycheck as a Shinigami. If given the chance, she'd rather wear her kimonos than her uniform.
PERSONALITY
Utako’s pretty much a wallflower despite her above average looks while her mannerisms are your run-off-the-mill standard for a nice girl with a severe inferiority complex. Although shy and introverted, she’s fiercely loyal to the few people who actually make an effort to get to know her since she is known to stick to those she cares about just as adamantly as she stands by her own beliefs, even if it means enduring the worst punishments, all with a smile etched on her face. With this philosophy in mind, and Utako’s own soft-spoken personality and sincerity, she is a sympathetic soul who really tries to see the brighter side of things.
Although a genuinely proper Yamato Nadeshiko at heart, her painful life experiences have brought out a darker, more sinister facet of her being which manifests itself as a childishly innocent, creepily playful, alien-obsessed psychopath whenever she is subjected to large amounts of stress, particularly the presence of “aliens”, a term which she uses to refer to Hollows. An insanely self-loathing, self-destructive, and sadomasochistic pervert of unprecedented proportions, Utako’s alter ego is a twisted perversion of her normal self’s shortcomings taken to savage extremes. No horror is to great nor depravity too deep so long as her desires are satisfied in the quickest possible way.

Description: A variation of Hadō #4, Byakurai that exchanges range for power, turning the lightning produced red in colour. As the range the caster attempts to use Hidenkō increases, the spell loses potency, becoming totally ineffective past 15 meters. It fires at half-Bala speed.

SEALED FORM Utako's zanpakutō is a normal katana with a white hilt and black scabbard. She usually keeps it tied with its black and white-striped tassel on the back side of her hips, the hilt-side facing the left for the benefit of the primarily left-handed Utako. She draws, wields, and sheathes her weapon in the reverse grip. SPIRIT APPEARANCE SPIRIT PERSONALITY Metallica is a rude, lazy and apathetic woman who seems to act without tact or conscience and has no qualms about supporting her wielder no matter what she does, even if it means hurting others. It appears that she is totally dedicated to Utako and follows her whims completely although whether she is simply doing this out of pure dedication or she’s just too indolent to oppose isn’t clear. Even so, it’s apparent enough that through her acts, Metallica genuinely cares about her wielder’s well-being and knows of her profound lack of inner strength and extreme self-hate which drive Utako to do the things she does.
INNER WORLD
SHIKAI SHIKAI APPEARANCE When released, Utako's zanpakutou disappears and transforms into a fully functional electric guitar crossed with a scimitar. Unlike most zanpakutou, the sword's hilt is only an aesthetic figurehead since this Shikai is meant to be held on the neck of the "guitar" part of the weapon like the actual instrument itself. Due to this inclination, Utako has learned to wield her zanpakutou in a left-handed reverse grip at all times to enable a swift transition from normal weapon to weaponized instrument. The same attack can also be released as a radial shockwave at the same speed but at the expense of halving the effective range.
