APPEARANCE
To the first glance, a rather ordinary Shinigami, save for his right eye being bandaged and the spine level black ponytail he sports. Otherwise, one may see him always with book in hand or next to his Zanpakuto. He keeps his form proper and his clothes as close to as they were presented as he can. He is, with ease, seen as a scholastic being over that of a strong or agile one. His body lacking in physical aesthetics and bearing a scholars form. His face? It rarely breaks, showing either apathy or annoyance, very little anything else.
PERSONALITY
Two words describe him: Focused, serious. He is one who rarely enjoys anything aside from reading, and even less so does he take pleasure in what others may find commonplace fun. He reads, he gets annoyed, and he usually whacks someone over the head with a book if they push his buttons further. His emotions are locked under a steel cage, one may say. Very rarely showing so much as an eye twitch, let alone true anger. He considers himself a proper man, a serious man, and one who will excel beyond merely just doing his duty. He seeks to be a pillar of moral and inspiration for all those who may work alongside of him.
As a member of Squad one, this fact is driven more home than normal. He feels that he has to appear as both a mentor and a source of information for all of the other squads, and some times even forgets that those he looks down upon are much more experienced than he is. He, of course, finds himself in many predicaments because of his unintentional rudeness and cynical attitude to others, though he tries to disarm fights rather then revel in them,
HISTORY
When he was accepted into the ranks of the Shinigami, Daiki cracked down on his studies more than one probably should. He wanted to be the top of the others, he wanted to excel beyond being just another recruit. He couldn't explain it, but it was his drive. While others may goof off or had their own reasons or motives, he was always fairly straight faced and determined. The only times he wasn't training he was reading. Always reading. He was never seen without a book by his side, and even rarer was he seen with his face outside it's pages. While many were focused on swordplay, he was always more focused on Kido and focusing on learning just how everything worked. He was almost always bested in duels or any form of physical challenge, and as such this began the torrent of people taking him as all talk and no walk.
His studies grew more, even reading in the middle of classes and at some points reading even in the middle of training, his mind becoming less of just an asset and slowly becoming what he would useas his weapon. Strategy, reading the flow of things, and then when time passed? An excellent grasp and use of Kido. He was one of the better Kido users in his class, but this wasn't enough. He wanted to be THE best.
When he graduated, and became part of Squad one this did not change. He held himself to a higher position even if he was still a greenhorn. Always speaking properly, presenting himself professionally, and channeling anger away in the deepest reaches of his being and focusing on bettering himself. If others were swearing or drinking and being loud and obnoxious, he was facedeep in a book until he couldn't take it, and usually slammed the book shut and walked off.
The only time anyone has seen him truly lose his cool was when some of his fellow squadmates took his book as he enjoyed a brief meditation (nap), and hid it. The rage he showed was actually humorous to many, given physically he was as intimidating as a stick. Not many assume him just a fluke with a big brain, though the fight that broke out ended with his right eye being bandaged. No one seems to speak of the incident again, given all involved were not only reprimanded harshly, but seemed to have a rather... Horrible memory of the topic.
To this date, he continues as if nothing has happened. Still acting as if he is a model for all to follow, with his right eye merely seen as a handicap rather than something to ruin his life. He reads always, even during meetings or when being spoken to. The one time his book is ever closed is on missions now. His calm remains ever strong, speaking to people like a cynical jerk, you could say. His dream now? Who can say, as the man's response to that question is usually the same. "I'm in the middle of a good spot, and if I forget what I read I will hurt you."

Description: A whirling blast of wind sets forth from the user's hand. The burst is a short compressed block of wind at Bala speed, but it can travel a great distance without its power fading. At any range, should this strike, it slams into the opponent like a steel hammer.

Incantation: The tempered Lance, forged in the fires of Purgatory, the harbinger of Asura's fury! Rend through the heavens and strike down your foe!
Description: A more offensively oriented version of Hadō #1, Shō. A silver lance of reiatsu is formed and then vaulted at the opponent, surrounding itself in whorls of wind. The wind hits first at Bala speed, knocking the opponent back at equal advantages but doing no Tier damage. The lance flies at half-Bala speed, and does the Tier III damage.

Description: A white hole appears above the caster, who jumps through it. The circle shoots across the sky at amazing speed, of which even Shunpo would have a hard time of keeping up with, transporting them to another location, but can go no further than a 10 mile radius. Cannot be used in combat.

Incantation: Pierce the heavens and send all wrongdoers to burn eternally in hell!
Description: The user slams their hands into the ground and creates a large large spike of earth that shoot out in front of the at their opponent. As long as their hand remain on the ground the spike can keep growing up to sixty feet. It can be used offensively or as a shield against incoming Kido. It can block Kidou up to Tier III at equal advantages.

SEALED FORM His sealed Zanpakutou seems to be as normal as any sword. The exception is it appears to be rather unused and unworn, and often he has a book tied up with the sash his sword is sheathed in. He wears it on his right hand side, and usually draws it upside down with his right hand before releasing it. SPIRIT APPEARANCE Senpeje's appearance is that of a scholarly old lady. One may call her grandmotherly, even. She holds a large tome, and wears a pair of miniscule reading glasses. Short, frail, and smiling. SPIRIT PERSONALITY Senpeje tends to be rather studious and scolding, trying to teach all of the "Young whipper snappers" the errors of their ways and help mature them towards better futures. She enjoys good stories, telling them and hearing them, but hates being interupted. She is focused but tends to multi-task a lot, showing her age doesn't define her ability. She complains a lot about the pain in her right hip, mayhaps a hint to the link to the right eye being bandaged with her wielder. She detests drunks and thinks that alchohol is man's excuse to escape a hard situation they need to adapt to. INNER WORLD
