Shunpo: Fukanō Ashi Semi Kōshin [ Flash Steps: Marching Cicada's Impossible Feet ]

Description: A simple application of causal disruption; as stepping primarily involves getting from point A to B, the user creates an existential paradox, and goes instead from point B to A. In effect, the user shunpo's backwards, appearing suddenly in the desired end location of their step, before near instantly retreating back to their original position. Due to the nature of this technique, it cannot be used to effectively dodge enemy attacks. The sounds and images of the user stepping are out of order, ephemeral, and random in pattern and appearance, and will seem to depict impossible to perform movements to others.

Battle Mechanic: The user's body and mind responds to all contact with spiritual energy/pressure based phenomena as if the opposite phenomena - i.e. the opposite of the incoming technique - has instead occurred. Opponents may choose to decide OOC what the 'opposite' of their abilities actually entails, and how it effects the user.
Plot Mechanic: The user can determine what the opposite of their abilities actually entails, and how it effects the user, and can further alter the effects at will so long as they are thematically oppositional.
Description: The user's reiatsu alters the way their body and mind responds to any level of invasion by foreign spiritual energy and pressure, causing them to react in the opposite manner and/or with reversed qualia when under the effects of any phenomena attempting to directly change or control the user's own normal functioning - naturally, the user does so without otherwise compromising their physical or spiritual integrity. Debilitating status effects, debuffs, and intrusive or infectious manipulations may instead empower the user; similarly, beneficial ally (or enemy) buff techniques or abilities targeting the user will always negatively impact the user, healing techniques will cause the user 'raw' (i.e. uncategorized) damage dependent on the maximum variable effect of the healing technique tier used. It should be noted - this technique has no effect on enemy abilities whatsoever, it merely inverts the cause and effect response mechanics of its user. This passive can be forcibly restrained, with an amount of effort equivalent to performing a technique of its tier per turn suppressed.
